It was so spectacular that I didn't want to leave it. I found a small movie theatre equipped with leather oversized recliners and slept. I was told that the 2 story lounge is 6000 square meters."

Miinukset: "We missed our flight from Istanbul to New York. The gate was changed while we were waiting at the assigned gate. No announcements were made about the gate change. We ended up stranded in Istanbul. The Turkish Airlines representatives were very rude and not helpful at all. They told me that we needed to purchase new tickets. My 14 year old and I were in Istanbul, Turkey with no way home. After hours on the phone with their customer service and many repeated phone calls and many collect phone calls to the United States, my mother was finally able to secure new plane tickets for $2000 one way for us to return to the states. We were in the airport for 24 hours before we could board a flight to make our way home. A few days after we arrived back is when the terrorist attacks occurred. I have been plagued with flashbacks of our time in the Istanbul airport. I feel that Turkish Airlines could have done a better job at trying to accommodate us in a time of desperation. I have been reluctant to contact them upon my return and a friend offered to call on my behalf and was treated in the same disrespectful manner. I would hate to think that Turkish Airlines could be representative of the people of Turkey. I can't imagine that Turkey or the citizens of this beautiful country could treat visitors in such a fashion. I appreciate your time in reading about our personal and devastating experiences during our trip that was to have been the trip of a lifetime with my son."

Plussat: "We purchased seats with extra legroom and it was very, very much worth it. My husband is 6 foot four and he was able to stretch out his legs comfortably. Seats are not uncomfortable, which is different from some airlines we’ve been on, and we really like the adjustable headrest where the sides can be flipped up to keep your head from rolling around while snoozing. We like that the silverware is actually metal instead of plastic!"
Miinukset: "The screen that folded out of the armrest was so small that watching a movie on it gave us a headache. The furst meal/lunch was so-so. Personally I would prefer a mixed fresh salad with a little bit of ham or chicken on top instead of the attempt at a hot mushy entree. The second meal/dinner was Similar to a hot pocket. The bread and the filling was pretty tasteless. Why not just have a healthy fruit bowl? Would have liked to see some English language reading material in the seat back pocket – it appeared to be only German language. Alternatively, it would be great if the flight attendants could offer non-German language reading materials upon request."
Plussat: "The crew here was Much, much friendlier! They were smiling, joking, and happy. The stewardess even directed me to a free isle seat so I wouldn't have to sit in the middle where it was a bit more cramped. I wish my first experience with Lufthansa; they could have had a loyal customer since I will ve flying to Bulgaria 2 times a year in the next 6 years."

Plussat: "It’s always a pleasure, easy and organized to fly with you. I have been using Lufthansa for the last 3 years, every time I must fly because of the quality of service and of its crew."
Miinukset: "Boarding was a free for all. My seat was near the front of the plane but the crew directed me to enter at the back of the plane. There were people entering from both the front and the back, meaning people were stuck trying to get past each other in the tight aisle. It was difficult to find space in the overhead compartments for carryon luggage due to people bringing too much stuff - the crew should have stepped in and helped. The food was a bad chicken sandwich with condiments that I could not eat."

This is not Lufthansa's fault but considering how important Frankfurt is, you would think the airlines would say something. The flight was late. There were no proper queues for boarding. Everone was mixed up, business, gold card, economy, and only one person doing the chekcing of boarding passes. It was not the best process."

There was no accommodation given to my cousin so I have to take him back home with me and then drive 2 hours tomorrow morning to bring him back for his new flight. •The charger ports for our seats were not working, which means we were 8 hours + without a phone. •One female flight attendant had a bad attitude and dropped pretzels in my lap after I turned to quickly ask my cousin a question regarding what drink he wanted. •The plane landing was one of the most reckless I’d ever witnessed."

Miinukset: "We had reserved our seats ahead of time but as we were boarding we were told that instead of sitting on row 4, we should seat at a row at the back of the plane. We were not notified ahead of time or or given an option. Flight attendants were refusing to help passengers and were actually rude to people who needed help to find a place for their luggage. Honestly, I didn’t expect this from Lufthansa and am very disappointed."

For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Miinukset: "Took a few time to ask for my kosher food. Crew couldn't locate me on the list, than the were out of kosher food, gave me regular breakfast, which I couldn't eat more than granola. It was pre-ordered, and I called to confirm a week ahead."

Miinukset: "Our flight was cancelled at the time we were suppose to board. We had to find another flight via Istanbul and got to our destination 6 hours late. Won't use Kayak again."
Plussat: "Nothing! I ended up losing my plane ticket because of Austrian Airlines lack of empathy with me."
Miinukset: "First I lost my United Airlines flight because of security reasons. I checked in Guatemala but I was delayed at the Airport's security too long, it was beyond my control. Consequently I got to the boarding gate right when they were closing. Consequently I lost all my connections from then on. The United Airlines was very empathizing with me and my situation and they issued me other boarding passes at no cost. United Airlines suggested me to tell the Austrian Airlines about what happened and they were sure the Austrian Airlines would understand but they were wrong; no understanding on behalf of the Austrian Airlines."

I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."
Plussat: "The staff from service center helped me to solve problem with my flight, it was short connection, around 35 minutes, and I missed my aircraft, but in the service center gave me ticket to the next flight, The problem was solved."

None of the machines could read my passport; and when you entered the data by alternative methods it STILL required a machine to read the passport--which it exactly what they were unable to do. Thus, it was a circular Catch 22. I went through six different lady agents working my way through the system, until they finally took my bag and let me go. They themselves said it was new to them and they did not fully grasp how it worked and they did not know why it did not accept me. SOFTWARE PEOPLE BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD."

Miinukset: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

And for your cabin luggage you only have 12 kg that they check you twice and they have security staff at the airport specifically check in this."

Plussat: "My seat at the window was great and the staff really friendly and courteous!"
Plussat: "Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport"

Miinukset: "There was a Force Majeur delay in Helsinki due to wings freezing that caused 20 minute delay to Amsterdam and made the interchange stressful."
Plussat: "Seat 39A did not recline. The gentleman next to me spread his arms out a bit as he typed on his computer the entire way. So I did not get ANY sleep. Plus he got up at least four times."
Miinukset: "Except for the man next to me - great!"
Miinukset: "KLM lost my luggage during the layover. My luggage didn't arrive even after the next flight to Prague. Customer service wouldn't give me any idea what flight my luggage would arrive on, nor would they tell me what time my luggage might be delivered to me."
Miinukset: "The movie selection did not seem extremely varied."
Miinukset: "Our total flight time was about 17 hours - MAD- AMS-LAX. My husband and I both have an internationally approved carry on luggages with us. When we checked in - they asked us to both check in our carry on luggage. The reason why is because they said they don’t think they have enough space for our carry ons. I told the crew member checking us in that other people that was checking in with the same hand carry size luggage with us had no problems taking it with them. For being about to be on a 17 HOUR FLIGHT we should be ALLOWED to have our carry ons with us! We take carry ons for that reason! I had to argue and prove my case to the crew member to atleast keep 1 carry on with us. I thought that was an UNACCEPTABLE reason for us to check in a carry on luggage when we had a 17 hour travel time ahead of us. Not a happy costumer here."

Plussat: "He missed it due to having a 32 minute layover, which he ran all the way to board."
Miinukset: "he had no choice but to look at the closed door of his flight, and wait an additional 7 hours and they didn't even give him a voucher for food. I'm his mother, I'm currently visiting family in Scotland, so couldn't help him much. I'm pretty disgusting and disappointed by the whole experience."

Miinukset: "2 hours on the tarmac delayed with no explanation. Uncomfortable seats, no leg room. Poor management of seating, there was enough empty seats to have groups together but they were split up. Drinks served from a communal bottle in a polystyrene cup."

Miinukset: "The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me."
Miinukset: "KLM crews look unhappy with their work. Everything they do is a favor not duty."
Plussat: "The cabin crew were pretty good. That's about all that was good."
Miinukset: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Miinukset: "Per usual, KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Strange choice of in-flight movies; no accounting for taste, I guess."

Miinukset: "One of the senior stewardesses we're very rude. Whether it's her personal opinion or KLM's policy, it's unreasonable to think that a 3 years old child could or should hold her pipi over 20 minutes, while they slowly and inefficiently trying to give out food. Several parents were there with the request to let us through to the toilet with small children and she smiled in our face and said "no, we will finish first and than you can go". She might be not fit for the job anymore, but KLM can't afford this kind of treatment."

Plussat: "Snack was great and tasty. Legroom is spacious on Aeroflot flights. Flight attendants were nice and attentive. Aeroflot lady at check-in desk clearly went an extra mile to help (see more below)"
Miinukset: "Aeroflot and Finnair systems are not talking to each other good enough. Aeroflot system was not able to see my status and perks with AA, member of the same Oneworld alliance as Finnair. So, it took extra time at the check in to explain, convince and get my extra luggage free perk."
Miinukset: "For some reason reps at counter made me to check in my carry-on, thogh the plane was almost emty. Airoflot’s coffe was disgusting! Tasted like regular tap hot water!"
Plussat: "Aeroflot made it a comfortable flight, pillows, blankets and slippers included in economy. Nice meals and non alcoholic drink options."
Miinukset: "They have those old school dual pin headphone jacks, bring a converter for your own headset because the airline issued ones are muffled. Keep an eye out for the (female body) objectifying promotional safety video, yikes Aeroflot. Moscow airport really leaves a lot to be desired. I spent two 4-hour layovers there on this trip and walk away with a higher sympathy for Ed Snowden, poor guy."
Plussat: "The Airflot has the best food, not on this flight as it was short, but still we got a nice ham sandwich."

Plussat: "We are family of three and the seats assigned to us were not together. Very disappointing because we booked our flight way in advance; five months ago and Aeroflot would not provide us with the assigned seats like other airlines do. Although they are offering this service for a fee, believe this is absurd since we already paid for our tickets and should not get charged for assigned seats. Sandwiches are not very good, two thin slices of ham, cheese and a bun. There was not any juice, only coke or sprite."

Miinukset: "No crew at landing. People jumped up while plane taxiing and no crew responded. Sears narrow and too close too see in front."
Miinukset: "Water dripping from ceiling. I told one of cabin crew. He just told me what can he do and then left. After complaining to two more cabin crew. Finally, they arranged me to another seat."
Plussat: "Aeroflot has a new fleet of Boeing 737-800, which I used on my flight from Belgrade to Moscow and back."
Miinukset: "Well, unfortunately, the service is still very moderate, to say the least. They speak poorely any non-Russian language (say, English). During both flights, I ordered juice and coffee, and they either didn`t understand me, or were just unkind enough to give me only one of those (although during my return flight, they said that they couldn`t boil the water due to turbulence). Their seats arrangement is uncomfortable, especially for tall persons (as me)."
Plussat: "Crew members were very nice and friendly. Our first meal was excellent but our second meal was ok."

Miinukset: "But the planes were understaffed that was clear especially during the meals. No drinks of any kind were provided during the meals because there was no crew to deliver them."
