The crew was very friendly and attentive. Business class seats were comfortable and the food was good. Positive experience

We were not able to go ! So we didn’t fly at all. We canceled flights months ago with Kayak
All luggages got lost, one of them had my dad’s 3 month supply of medicine (hence we had to check), and none of the Lufthansa nor United customer service have been helpful. This is outright horrible… Will always try to avoid Lufthansa whenever I can from this point on
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

Plussat: "So because of tge traffic and snow i got at the airport 25 min before the departure of my flight...but when i explained my situation every employee tried their best to help me in getting on the plane, by even opening the gate for me!! They were very helpfull, fast and efficient. Thanks to their kindness and efficiency i was able to get on the plane and see my family at home. I am verry thankfull to all the staff for it!"

Plussat: "Visa for India was not checked in Denver. Landed in Frankfurt and discovered that the visa was expired. Stuck in Frankfurt for 3 nights until new visa was issued. No babes the entire time I was in Germany. Arrived in Mumbai after paying the $350 US change fee and no bags. Bags finally arrived on Monday at 9AM Without clothes, toiletries and medications for 6 nights. Now I am delayed and will probably have to pay rebuke and fare change to extend my stay here."
Plussat: "The plane was nearly empty, so there was a lot of space to spread out. The entertainment options were almost limitless and the food was plentiful and tasty."
Miinukset: "Since it was an overnight flight, I planned on sleeping, however, it seemed the flight attendants were coming through all the time. While I appreciated dinner and breakfast, it really wasn't necessary for that time of day and the length of flight. I also tried to upgrade and even though the premium economy clear was almost empty, they did not accept my bid. I would have understood if the flight was full but it wasn't. I'm not sure why they wouldn't want the extra money from me?"

Boarding at the plane was also a hot mess because you could enter from the front or back of the plane and people in the very back that entered at the front had to shove past people entering from the back moving toward the center of the plane."
Plussat: "Lots of room on a 747 - Lufthansa will probably retire them all soon. They handled my special meal request online and loaded the meals on the plane."
Miinukset: "The crew didn’t bother to confirm who had requested the special meals, and they perhaps were confused by the size of the wide body rows, so they served my dinner to the passenger in the window seat (seat K) instead of me (seat H) By the time I realized what had happened, my row mate had eaten half the meal. The crew also rammed my knee with a beverage cart while I was dozing. Not the best showing ever..."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

As I waited for my check to be deposited the price went up nearly $500 as if it was programmed to go up if I didn't take book it the first time. From that point on, my flight was the highest priced flight np matter where I looked, my dates were the highest priced. Not happy. And my charges were more than the flight. How can that be fair. $400 flight $500 fee??? WTF??? But I needed the flight. I feel like I was screwed."

The biggest issue was the extreme delays from Lufthansa that ate into a 4+ hour layover that I should have had at LAX instead I arrived at the opposite terminal from my LAX flight with no time to get through customs and onto the plane I missed the plane by 10 minutes and had to book a hotel that wasn't paid for because it was Lufthansa's fault and not United which then put me and my family home a full 24 hours later than was originally planned."

Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."

Miinukset: "As I was with two kids when doing checked in I was not able to have three seats next to each other. I was required to negotiate in plane with another passenger to change the seat"
Plussat: "The flight attendant who brought the vegetarian meal that I had cancelled was quite solicitous and apologetic. I was impressed with her."
Miinukset: "I had ordered a vegetarian meal on the flight from Chicago to Munich. It was largely carbohydrate, not much if any protein, white rice and vegetables (vegetables were good). For the return flight I had cancelled the vegetarian meal, but then on the flight they brought it to me. I indicated that I had cancelled the vegetarian meal about a week earlier, but they did not have enough meals to give me something different. This was a disappointment. This meal too was largely carbohydrate of a refined nature."
Due to the mediated service, it was not possible to check in online. It only works if you buy the ticket at Ryanair.
Flight departure delayed which resulted in me almost missing my connection

Miinukset: "Flight delayed 2 hours with very little communication as to why. We were not informed of likely length of delay. Once on board we were not offered any small compensation such as a free drink etc. Customers were moved to accommodate other passengers resulting in my friend moving from isle or middle seat. This wasn’t handled very gently and she wasn’t thanked."

They said there were strict size limits on cabin bags, but when we got to the gate they didn’t check any - we had to pay for an extra bag in hold when we could have just used a bigger bag for hand luggage. Everything was difficult. Bag drop didn’t work - we had to queue to to go to the desk 3 times and the lady eventually did it herself. Staff were polite and nice."
Miinukset: "My travel agent could not check us in as she did not realize she need passport info, exp. date, and birth date and we couldn't reach her in time to get us checked in with the time difference. It cost us an extra 115 pounds to checkin at the airport. That is ridiculous!"
Miinukset: "The airline only allows online checkin and didn’t notify us through emails until a few days before the flight when we’re already traveling. During international travel, we don’t check emails. We ended up paying almost $200 to checking at the airport. will not use this airline again."

Miinukset: "The company delays those flights every time between 2 to 5 hours and I’m getting really annoyed about it. I’m thinking to use another company for my next trip"
Miinukset: "The gate for boarding was supposed to close at 1205pm but they didn’t announce the gate until 11:30am. The flight was supposed to take off at 12:35pm but there was no announcement of delay, all of the attendants said that everything was on schedule, yet boarding didn’t even start until 1230pm. They randomly took people out of line and told them their bags were too big and made them pay 50 euro, even though their bags still went in the same hold and they were no bigger than anyone else’s when later compared. It was an international flight and multiple people didn’t even have to show their passports. Then on the plane we sat on the runway for about another hour and didn’t takeoff until 1:40pm. The take off was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The seats were basically lawn chairs glued to the ground and the aisles aren’t large enough for the crew so they were constantly bumping everyone in the aisle seats. The landing felt like the plane was going to flip over and crash and then on top of everything we were told that Ryanair didn’t have enough employees to take our luggage off of the plane."
Miinukset: "Central Naples to Central London lasted 16 hours door to door! No proper explanation is given as to when to expect the flight to depart even roughly. People were kept standing up, waiting. Vouchers given for refreshments were valid in two places, one of them outside the airport! Somebody who couldn't use her voucher wanted to use it on the plane and it was not accepted."

Miinukset: "Received emails about baggage, the policy stated that any cabin baggage beyond 1 would be checked for FREE in the hold. My wife and I both arrived with a small carry-on bag and a backpack. Upon arrival to Lisbon the attendant told us we needed to pay40euro each for the extra bag because it was slightly bigger than the bag “tester” box. (It fit sideways but not long ways). We showed the email about the free checked bag and she said because it was too big we had to pay 40 euro each. After a while we agreed. She then told us just to go to the gate, it would be ok. At the gate we had the same conversation with a different attendendent, this time it was 50 euro a piece! She said there was nothing she could do and just like that we are out 100 Euro. Do not fly with these Crooks!"

Miinukset: "I was informed at the departure gate that my carry-on baggage cannot be brought to the airplane and I was forced to pay 50euro at the last minute for the baggage fee. The ironic part was I have gone through the check-in desk to ask for whether my carry on fits Ryanair standard or not. That was very unprofessional and inconsistent way of handling the issue."

Miinukset: "This was really cattle class. We were herded onto the plane, held in tiny pens, and herded off. But it was cheap."
Miinukset: "They didn't have record that I had paid for extra luggage for my party of 7. Luckily, I had my paperwork so I was able to finally get my luggage on without paying again. The flight bordered 40 minutes late and then sat on the runway for an hour. They was never an announcement as to why. My mother is in a wheelchair. They didn't let her pre-board, and then put her wheelchair through with the luggage. She had to get to the luggage carousel without it. They told her to just walk. Luckily, she can walk a little with help. Yikes, if she was totally disabled."
Plussat: "Can't get any cheaper than that so I did not expect much. The check-in process was not bad, and going into the plane was surprisingly easy. Was expected to be treated as cattle, but was pleasently surprised to find otherwise."

Miinukset: "Last time we flew Ryanair, we did not check-in ahead of time, so we had to pay 53 Euros at the airport. We learned our lesson, so for this flight we checked in ahead of time and had our boarding passes ready on our mobile devices. When we arrived at the airport, we were told we needed a printed ticked so they could stamp it that they had checked our passport. It would be 53 Euros for them to print the ticket. The lady at the ticket counter directed us to the business center to print, but the Ryanair website wasn't working. I eventually printed a poor quality screenshot and hoped for the best. The lady stamped when she checked my passport. Nobody ever checked the stamped ticket beyond that point. What a waste. Ryanair is cheap, of course I'll fly with them again the next time I'm in Europe. My advice to travelers is to do your research and know all the loop holes they use to make money off of you."

Plussat: "Arrived at 5.45, checked in, gone through security by 06.30. Flight delayed by 15 minutes, due to passengers not Ryanair. Arrived 15 minutes early so would have arrived earlier at Palma. Staff seemed friendly. No real complaints."
