They than reclined the seat back and my seat was broken do I asked them to put the seat forward and they ignored me. I informed the cabin crew that they weren't being considerate after all I gave up my seat to them. The cabin crew told me I could leave my 4 yest old and 3 year old alone and move to a new seat."

I understand that parents should have worried about this. But if the parents can not do anything with their child, the new toys could help calm the child, and not turn a long flight into torture for other passengers and crew."

We just barely made our connecting flight and our next flight was way better in service. Our luggage didn’t make the connection and hoping that all our precious cargo from our anniversary trip made it. The flight attendant told us we had enough time to make it to our next flight but I honestly ran from one point of the airport to the other. The staff said it wasn’t that far and no checkpoints to go through - this information was false."

Miinukset: "Missed my flight because the baggage check in closed, but what bothered me was that the attendant did not give any solutions or help, just coldly said “you can’t get on because you can’t check in your bag” and continued to tell me that I should just throw my luggage and all my things away to at least check in and get my body on the plane. I felt like I had to coerce her for help or advice on what I should do with my situation and she didn’t really give me any beneficial help until right before my gate closed and my plane departed. As customer service, shouldn’t they offer help without having the customer feel like they need to convince the check in attendant to give them alternate solutions?"

Miinukset: "Check in at the airport took 40 minutes, for a line that wasn't all that long, mainly due to not having all that many agents available."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Considering I took six flights in this month, I will let it slide that they ran out of New movies. Worst part was food. Obviously, there is no quality consideration when they decide menu. Check Emirates or other similar fare bracket airlines to understand the gravity of Lufthansa food problem. If one reason I had to choose to drop Lufthansa from my future consideration then that would be worst food and drinks. I would strongly recommend that they should assign people who need additional time to board at the back of the plane. It will help them to go back of the plane faster and avoid gridlock in the middle. Another advantage is it will help other passengers leave plane faster at the end of the ride. Boarding process will be come significantly faster by filling the plane from back to front by loading passanger with children and who needs time at the first loading area at the back of the plane. My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Miinukset: "Horrible. First, we lost a suitcase. It could happen but for two days they did nothing and only told us stories (so as not to use the word lies). Within a few hours (and thanks to airline assistance) we were able to locate the suitcase. Even then it took them two days to bring it to us, two precious days off our planned vacation (7 days) At the end of the shortened vacation, we got to the chek in, and told that since the ticket I had purchased form them two months earlier was too cheap ... and since the flight was Over booked, they would take me off the plane if all the passengers would arrive. It's unnecessary to describe what I felt until the plane took off. They apologize constantly, but do nothing practical. a bae company. no me nor my freinds/family will go with KLM"

Miinukset: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Miinukset: "When I purchased my flight ticket , I purchased with a checked bag (23 kg /50 #) how ever ( who will fly to Ukraine with a 10kg suitcase) I booked for a KLM flight , they used (partener airlines ) when I arrived to LA I flew with Delta , they checked my Suitcase at no cost all the way to my final destinations , that was expected ! When I was going to return , they made me payed 120 dollars ( in Kiev , Ukraine (UIA) , I was very disappointed and I really will love an explanation about all this !"

Miinukset: "Everything. The crew seemed to skip over me and my husband multiple times. So we sat there with garbage the whole flight. My entertainment was broken and they had no solution but giving me $30 to use at the duty free shop the same day as the flighty. I paid extra for premium seating in an exit row and that was their idea of fair compensation. The crew ran out of vegetarian food so I didn’t eat anything but cold stale bread. The crew was non-existent most of the flight."

And this is not the first time hearing same story, Air France definitely needs to disinfect the plane more thoroughly. Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Miinukset: "We arrived at the airport at 9:00 to check in for our flight that was scheduled for departure at 12:15 and we were told that we could not check in until 2 hours before the flight (10:15). All of the passengers for flight AZ1466 lined up in front of a check-in counter that displayed Alitalia for our flight. At 10:45 they announced the check in for AZ1466 at a different check-in counter knowing full-well that everyone was lined up for flight AZ1466 on our line. So then everyone that was lined up at the first counter had to line up at the new counter. My wife and I were initially 3rd in line and then after we had to move we were in the very back of the line. On top of that, they only had 1 person checking everyone into economy (which was most of the people on the plane) and they also had to weigh everyone’s carry-on baggage. We were initially told they had weather issues with the snow in Rome and they did not know if we would take off on time or would be cancelled. However, I was getting e-mail messages from Kayak stating our flight was on-time. So how is it that a 3rd party travel company knew what was going on, but the crew at Alitalia did not? Afterward I had to go through security, wait on the tax refund line, and go straight to board the plane. After that we waiting on the plane for 50 minutes and did not take-off until 1:05 PM. These were the problems in short: 1. No one informed us that we could not check in at this particular airport until 2 hours prior to flight departure. 2. They did not begin the check in process until 90 minutes prior to departure. 3. We had to switch check-in lines and they only had 1 check-in person. 4. We had no time to shop or eat lunch at the airport. 5. We boarded the plane and waited until 13:05 to takeoff when we were scheduled to take off at 12:15 (50 minute delay). 6. We received no communications about delays from Alitalia (via e-mail or app). However, we received e-mails from Kayak stating everything was on time. We had no communication from Alitalia about the delay or that we could not check in early (which you could do at every other airport I have been to). We also had a connecting flight in Rome that we were concerned we would miss. We arrived at Rome airport on a delayed flight out of Marco Polo airport (AZ1466). Our 13:40 flight to JFK (AZ610) was delayed until 14:45. After we arrived at Rome airport we ran through the airport to our gate and boarded the plane. After we boarded the plane we waited until 16:10 to take-off (85 minute delay). We did not receive any communication from Alitalia via e-mail, the Alitalia app, or crew members that our flight was being delayed any longer than it already was. We planned on stopping to use the bathrooms in the airport, eat a decent lunch, and shop (which I promised my wife we could do at the airport). However, we could not do any of those things because we did not receive any information about delays from Alitalia. After we arrived home in New York the airline l"

This is downright theft by all the airlines who engage in this very profitable but nefarious activity and really needs to be stopped. First bag should be free/ nominal charge or at least part of the ticket price. (It is like a restaurant charging for cutlery and plates so you can eat . Would that be acceptable??)"

Miinukset: "KLM switched to Alitalia right at online check in time, which made things very confusing. Even the flight number changed. It would have helped if KLM would have let customers know this in advance."

Miinukset: "The flight was operated by Alitalia, so my bad review is about it: 1- they made us pay 75 euro for 4 extra kg on the luggage; 2- once on board we had to wait 45 minutes before leaving the airport; 3- there was no entertainment on the plane which looked like a very old plane; 4- they served us a tasteless sandwich and muffin(MEA flight serves a full meal) 5- the choice of drinks was poor: water, Coca cola, tea or coffee, no juices or alcohol; 6- we asked for water 3 times and the flight attendant never came back; Being an expensive flight I was expecting something more than a low coast flight company. VERY DISAPPOINTED."

How does that happen?"

Miinukset: "We had booked a weekend getaway, first the returned flight was cancelled and changed for a later one that didn't work for us (we couldn't get to work on time), we managed to change that for another flight the day before, shortening our vacation, then, when we got to the airport, an hour before boarding, we find out there, without warning, that the outgoing flight had been cancelled! This time it wasn't automatically changed, and there was no warning, the only solution they were giving us was an afternoon flight the other day, shortening our weekend getaway even more. After half an hour of discussion, they found and earlier flight, with connection, double the time, but that would get us there at around 2pm, so still we were missing almost half a day, but that was the best they could do. The flight was OK, boarding was late, but hey, that seems to always be the experience with this type of flights. I would just say they are not very reliable, having both your outbound and inbound flights cancelled, seems to much, specially if you're just going for a short getaway, you may end up having a one-day getaway!"
