TSA Prechk not on boarding pass printout. No shuttle behind security from Term B to Term A. Plane left earlier than announced on notification apps. DCA website=6:25pm Final call at 5:47pm only word DELAY on term screen with 4:10time."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed by almost 3hours and I missed my connecting flight in Toronto and had to wait another 3 hours. Air Canada did not seemed to care about my difficulties at all."

Miinukset: "Originating flight was delayed, so missed connection in Montreal and had to be rerouted. After going through 5 airports to reach our final destination, we finally made it - without our luggage!!! To make matters worse, the complete and extreme lack of empathy on behalf of Air Canada's customer service desk was less than appreciated by us.... As it turns out, Air Canada was aware all along that we would miss our connection; however, they still had us board our originating flight. The gate agent should have been conscientious and informed us that the delay was ongoing with our flight being number 22+ on the tarmac to take off, thus guaranteeing our missed connection. They should have rebooked us on another flight from our original destination vs rebooking us upon arrival in Montreal to miss further connecting flights. Very disappointed!!!!! Based on this experience alone, never again will I or my family travel Air Canada."

Miinukset: "Entertainment system was broken for my seat. Screen wouldn't work properly. This was a problem in every seat I sat in."

Miinukset: "This was a +10 hour trans Atlantic flight. We walked on and immediately noticed there were no TV screens. I expected that the crew would be handing out portable screens instead which would have been ok but pretty inconvenient. This was not the case. We asked the crew and were told that to have entertainment for the flight we would have to download the Air Canada flight into our OWN devices and connect to the airplane wifi. They also explained that you can't download the app while connected to the airplane wifi so anyone who wanted entertainment had to scramble to download the app while we were still on the ground and Use cellular data! at this point 300 people were either panicking because they didn't have a personal device with them, didn't have a charger for their device and so would have power issues or were forced to use up roaming data because they had non Canadian phone plans!!! At the very least staff should have told passengers about this setup while they were waiting at the gate, so that people would have time to download the app with airport wifi! add to all this the fact that the app was extremely low quality and the options for movies/show were disappointingly dated and limited. This was not officially a cheap low cost flight for my family but the service we got certainly would categorize it as such. Very disappointed."

Miinukset: "The flight kept getting delayed bc of mechanical problems, and then eventually cancelled. They rebooked everyone on new flights, but it took an extra stop in Toronto before getting us to Montreal. Once it was rebooked for the morning, it took off a little late. Plus the pretzels they gave us were stale. This was the first of two flights I took this trip that had mechanical issues, so they obviously need to fix their planes better or get new ones, because two Air Canada flights in one day that have mechanical problems leaves me worried that the planes aren't in optimal condition. It took me over 24 hours to get from Tucson, AZ to Montreal, Canada when normal travel takes less than 8 hours including layovers."
Miinukset: "My flight from NYC to Montreal was delayed 4 hours due to a storm that had passed earlier in the day. That was understandable, however we then sat on the tarmac at the gate for an additional hour because Air Canada's entire computer system suddenly crashed. We finally got to the runway and in the middle of takeoff the pilot slammed on the brakes and aborted the takeoff because he did not reach high enough speed. It was very scary. I was supposed to land in Montreal at 10:20 pm but arrived there at 2:30 am the next morning."
Plussat: "Crew was friendly and empathetic. Was not their fault for the delay."
Miinukset: "First plane that was after a 4 hour layover broke down. Took over an additional 9 hours to get a new plane. And all we were given was a voucher for a discount on a Canada Air trip and headphones."
Miinukset: "Didn't accept my carry-on that was always accepted before with all airlines.At least from Mtl to Quebec,i would have been able to do it.I will reconsider travelling with A C ???"
Miinukset: "I didn't like the fact that I paid 14$ for wifi and it kept kicking me off all the time. Also when we landed in Edmonton we circled their airport for half an hour then finally landed and we were stuck on the Tarmac for additional 45 min while we waited to get towed to our terminal. All in all terrible first time flying with air Canada and will never do it again. West jet flight I took to my destitnation was awesome"

Miinukset: "Seats were not comfortable, very tight space since plane was so small. I'd never flown international before so when they handed out the immigration forms without any explanation, I was very confused."

Miinukset: "They ran out of the food, and many people were left with no choice for dinner. Food was just okay. Crews weren't very helpful when boarding. It was hard to find a spot for my carry on luggage. I waited for someone to come over and help me find the spot, but no luck."

Miinukset: "It might be possible to get good reviews for a flight that takes off two and a half hours late so that everybody misses dinner and gets to bed late (and forty-five minutes to get my bag didn't help matters). But you're not going to get them if you won't even tell your customers why the flight was delayed."
Miinukset: "The post office lost my passport and I was unable to go on this flight. Customer service was unwilling to provide a solution that did not cost thousands of dollars to rebook and see my family for Christmas."

Miinukset: "Seating was not comfortable and didn't want to pay extra to secure the appropriate seating.. Ihave travelled with Air Canada Jumbo jet in the past and found it was much better..."

Miinukset: "Where to start?! Air Canada is by far the worst airline I have ever flown on. initially there was no information on what gate we were supposed to go to. The timeline of when the gate was going to be told ended up being 45 minutes later than initially projected which turned out to be an hour before the flight was supposed to take off, which didn't leave much time to make it through passport control and to the correct gate. The flight was then delayed over an hour before we were able to board. Once we boarded the flight, we were delayed again an additional hour. We finally took off and landed in Toronto to be delayed yet again before we could go to our gate. Once we go to our gate (close to 30 minutes after landing) the gate would not work and we were stuck on the plan an additional 30 minutes. What was supposed to be about a 9 hour flight turned into almost 12 hours of misery. I will never fly air canada again. The best part about air canada is how every canadian I talked to say "oh yeah, they are such a "terrible" or "shitty" airline."

Plussat: "Seat was broken, you can not recline seat. Flight was full, I was told so you have to sit on same seat. Secondly, there was one kid who keep crying yelling like hell, big time headache. It was about 6 early morning flight came at airport by 3:00am thought will sleep on air. On boarding, only drinks was offered, not even cookies or snacks there."
Miinukset: "Broken Seat No cookies or nuts, only drinks For kids or infants- airline should give them last seats or offers Air buds."
Miinukset: "They overbooked the flight and would not allow me to board even though I had booked my ticket months in advance."
Miinukset: "When boarding the plane, they called the zones too quickly. Then there was an Air Canada representative giving bad directions to the passengers as to where to get in line. Then she got annoyed and was disrespectful to the passengers as they were trying to get in line. She needed to give better directions or change the way they called the zones. Air Canada knew the flight to Montreal was delayed when we left London. They changed our reservation to Toronto to a flight that we still couldn't connect with because of timing. It would have been easier if they were more realistic with the timing of the flight and booked us on a later flight to Toronto."
Plussat: "The flight was less than an hour. So I don't expect anything."
Miinukset: "Late and overbooked Toronto Airport Dodd is bad. --- no veggie optional"
Plussat: "We actually arrived alive."
Miinukset: "We arrived into London so late that we were forced to take a taxi at a huge expense. During the 3 hr delay the only food provided was a small bag of pretzels and water."
Plussat: "Crew was respectable and the food was good."
Miinukset: "The policy of having to check-in in order to have a seat is ridiculous and borderline racketeering. If one pays for a flight, they should get the ticket they paid for. It should not be based on whether they check-in because Air Canada wants to make more money on selling their seat because they didn't check-in. This is unacceptable. Since it's a company policy, my wife and I would enforce our own policy in response: we will choose not to fly Air Canada again."
