Miinukset: "I intensely disliked the 3 hour delay in Copenhagen!!! And that SAS offered the passengers in transit a meal voucher of only 50 danish Kronas, which was just enough to buy a tall Starbucks coffee drink but not enough to eat anything at the airport!"
Plussat: "I have used Kayak for years without issue. This time I was flying SAS for the first time. The plane broke and so that was the first huge delay SAS had terrible customer service. They reminded me several times that I was not a preferred customer and that I had bought my ticket through kayak. This is the reason they gave for lack of help. It was frustrating to say the least. I’m not sure how they expect to gain repeat customers if they treat first time customers like that."

Miinukset: "When I booked the flight, it did not say that I was not allowed to check any bags. My wife and I had one each, and it costed us €140 total to bring the luggage. If I had known there was a slightly more expensive ticket that would have allowed us to check a luggage each, I would of course have chosen that. Very poor information provided."
Plussat: "Crew was friendly and professsional. Breakfast was good , as well as the selection of movies."
Miinukset: "Apparently SAS is not part of the TSA network, so I was unable to use my Global Entry membership to get TSA Pre-Check. Non-alcoholic beverage service was meager (one beverage only)."
Miinukset: "Check-in was a disaster. Took almost one hour for a trainee to check us in. Printed 8 bag tickets (for 2 bags) and after we complained was told there was no line at immigration, so should be okay. Guess having a 3 year old wasn’t enough for us to get any compassion or expedited service. At gate. No early boarding for children."
Plussat: "The food and entertainment on board is great. I was very pleased with how they organized the checking of bags and the fact I picked it up at my final destination without any issues and right on time."
Miinukset: "Some of the staff at the check in desks can be very rude. Also, on my initial flight, they closed the check-in early and left many of us stranded without knowing who to talk to and how to manage to get on the plane. When someone from SAS finally came, I was told I would be escorted through security and most into the plane but then the "manager" or whoever was in charge denied it. The plane did not leave for another our and instead of arguing with the costumers they could have just helped us get on the plane. It was unfair of them to close the check in desks early and on top of that to catch a plane the next day they wanted to charge and exorbitant fee. I Wii never fly SAS again."

Miinukset: "My husband was unable to check in on line. SAS when contacted by phone which was difficult to do because it is hard to locate their number had no explanation other than maybe due to security. We missed a tour due to the time spent (unsuccessfully) trying to solve this problem."
Miinukset: "Luggage lost or misdirected and VERY poor effort in getting it delivered to me, once found. I still have no clothes, shaver, toiletries . . . or confirmation on when/if delivery will happen. Just simply disrespectful!!!"
Plussat: "The crew is great. Did everything within their abilities to be comfortable"
Miinukset: "The cabin was too warm for the duration of the flight. The movie content wasn't that great. Also, the headphone jack on my seat was temperamental and I lost sound quite a bit. I wish they had more vegetables in their dish"

Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."
Plussat: "Only that it was the shorter part of the trip."
Miinukset: "Seat was tight and did not recline at all. Back was killing me. Flight attendants came across as rude the way they spoke to the people. No entertainment at all. Not even water was offered."
Plussat: "The flight attendants were pleasant. We received pillows and blankets and a bottle of water upon boarding. Dinner and a snack was served. The seats are comfortable."
Miinukset: "The snack was some kind of pickled vegetable strudel. I wish I could have had a choice of something else. I didn't like that for the whole we were only offered one complementary soft drink."
Plussat: "I purchased Plus and found it a good value. My seat on the overseas leg was comfortable -- though it could have reclined better. The food & drink service was conducted as at an elegant restaurant."

This was the first international flight I've been on where even small snacks such as peanuts or pretzels are for purchase only. Plus the flight attendants seem to be disorganized and in rush. I will never use SAS again."

Miinukset: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."
Miinukset: "Booked SAS Go level which included 1 piece of luggage each. At check-in, we were told that is not the case despite SAS' own website saying that it is. I was charged another $320 and I am disgusted with their business practices which revolve around, deceit, lies andl I would even say fraud! There were many others complaining about the SAS Go luggage issue and then having to pay again. I could have gone with Ryan Air for a fraction of the cost."

I needed wheelchair assistance and found that every was very attentive to my needs and very competent, especially the ones assigned to get me from place to place. Even in Rome, where we had to deplane on the tarmac, I had a young woman and a young man to assist me and they helped me in every way possible."
Miinukset: "I needed a gluten free meal and found it rather dry and unappetizing."
Plussat: "The constant service provided by the flight crew. The food was excellent and even got a free beer. The inflight entertainment selection was abundant, did not even have to listen to my music. Very friendly crew."

Miinukset: "The Lufthansa representative in Frankfurt made me check one of my bags, when SAS clearly said I was allowed to have one carry-on and one personal item. This was not a Lufthansa flight, but the rude attendant insisted on enforcing Lufthansa rules on an SAS flight and refused to even allow me to voice an objection. I will not fly Lufthansa ever after this. SAS should have its own representatives who understand customer service at all gates."
Plussat: "The automated kiosks made it ridiculously easy. Flying out of LAX can be a pain, but that went by so smoothly. I'm cheap and have become accustomed to Spirit airlines. So when I received free (decent) meals a complimentary bottle of water and a plethora of inflight entertainment."
Plussat: "We were in coach and it was comfortable and the food was good. The crew was helpful and pleasant. Entertainment options were great."
Miinukset: "I have never been on a trans-Atlantic flight before that did not include wine and liquor! Surprising."
Plussat: "The SAS experience was great overall. Nice flight attendants, quick boarding, very well organized. Food was one of the best airline foods Ive ever eaten, especially the BBQ chicken and wild rice entree."
Miinukset: "Something about the seats made it impossible to sleep without being woken up frequently by a painful position (economy class). Obviously no economy class seat will be comfortable to sleep in, but SAS seats seem to be a lot worse than other airlines."

Wasn't sure we would make flight until new boarding pass was issued by gate agent. And that boarding pass bounced when trying to board plane. New boarding pass had to be issued with another seat assignment. SAS is on my no fly list."

My baggage was lost for over 4 days (it still hasn’t arrived on October 24. I landed on October 20). With little to no communication on it status or refund on all the baggage fees I was made to pay.While the crew was pleasant , price point attractive and plane modern, These factors are enough to deter me from choosing this airline in the future"

We booked a flight through Norwegian on the way to Athens and did not have to pick a meal in advance however apparently on our return flight we had to? Doesn’t make any sense. Miinukset: "We were traveling with 1.5 year old child and we had to leave our stroller at the entrance to the gate and got it back with the rest of the luggage, needless to say we had to carry our child all the way to the plane and then to the baggage claim. Why can't it be taken and given back at the entrance."

Miinukset: "20 hours of flying and there was no food or even a cup of water included. It was not clear when I booked my flight that I would need to book meals in advance, or purchase at inflated prices on the plane."

Miinukset: "The video screens in the cabin - especially when in default menu mode and not actually in use - are bright... really bright. I was unable to sleep because someone didn’t turn theirs off before falling asleep. Then - after landing, they simply can’t be turned off as the loop a Dreamliner promo of footage shot in the bright sky. The screen brightness is NOT adjustable during the promo and sunglasses were needed since I had no option but to have it shine in my face."

My wife wanted water and a blanket and they charged us for both and never gave her either one. The worst flight ever. I will now reconsider using this airline"
Plussat: "The nearly lie flat seats in premium class were nice."
Miinukset: "No Dreamliner—more like a nightmare liner. No online boarding pass meant reentering security line with no fewer than 500 people in front of us; 3 hour delay departing newark; filthy, crowded, standing room only lounge in Newark; no sight of flight attendants until 2 hours after take off (by that time it was 4am and no beverage)."

Miinukset: "We were not offered water at all during the 9 hour flight. The TV did not work. The crew never came around for trash! It was on the floor and in the seat back pouches. There were only two menus for the whole plane."
Plussat: "I liked the Inflight Entertainment System, the 787 aircraft. The cabin crew were pleasant. I particularly liked the price. Only gave food 1 star because I didn't want to pay $45 for meal service. Really should be able to mark it NA."
Miinukset: "Departed over 90 minutes late. Captain said it was due to late inbound flight although aircraft was at gate at scheduled departure time. We started boarding almost on time and then sat in airplane about 90 minutes."

The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."
Plussat: "price, speed, simplicity."
Miinukset: "all of the food was mediocre, overpriced and not even a cup of water was free. no napkins were provided. trash was rarely picked up. staff was direct and not very friendly. it felt very impersonal. baggage was WAY overpriced, as were seats, so it would have been the same as buying flights on another airline and with more courtesy. I wouldn't fly with them again unless it was a weekend trip and i was flying alone and trying to save money."

Miinukset: "Great experience. I knew that they charge extra for literally everything, so I had my food, water, jacket. Plane was partially empty - great extra space. Highly recommend, but be aware of their strict policy to avoid unpleasant surprises."
Plussat: "Low price, new smart aircraft, comfortable journey in Premium, excellent service from the crew."
Miinukset: "In-flight entertainment very limited. Not many movies, strange tv program content, no music at all. The flight was late leaving Oakland and the pilot didn't make up any time, so I nearly missed my connection in Stockholm. Aalanda airport was part of that problem as transfer security had a single line with one really slow person manning it! That all added up to a long line of very anxious travelers!"
Plussat: "They charge $65 for checked baggage upon checkin with no advanced warning. Not cool."

Plussat: "The Hi Fly staff was great-very attentive to its customers. This was in stark contrast to our flight to Barcelona operated by Norwegian. We did not upgrade our flights, and still received hot food and plenty of beverages."

Plussat: "I received a meal and a breakfast to go for no additional charge."
Miinukset: "I booked a Norwegian airlines flight but it was actually run by another airline. The movie selection was bad and the touch screen did not work very well. The seat were cramped and they did not pass out blankets."
Plussat: "Bathrooms accessible and not overcrowded. Air-quality in the cabin was good. Seats fairly comfortable."
Miinukset: "No complementary water tea or coffee. That is very basic for any flight over six hours. It was a big surprise to pay $45 for each seat in order to reserve ahead of time. We traveled as a family of five. Not so cheap as advertised will think twice next time."
Plussat: "The 787 Dreamliner is a fantastic plane and it felt like the whole flight was just generally smoother. They seem to take punctuality very seriously. The free entertainment screens are fantastic for these long flights. Make sure to bring a set of standard earphones (otherwise pay $3.00). The crew was friendly and their uniforms are cute with plaid theme."
Miinukset: "My only complaint was the lack of meal options for purchase onboard. I didn’t realize you had to order the meals when purchasing the ticket, and figured there’d be an option to purchase onboard (for a higher price possibly?). Sadly, the only options for last-minute purhase are snacks. The closest thing to a “meal” was a hot cheese sandwich on wonder bread for $7. I probably should’ve done my homework, but it’d be so nice if they allowed purchase of meal while onboard."

Miinukset: "the usual complaint \i have with all the airplanes, not enough legroom, and no, \i will not pay extra on principle. I also had a problem with the TSA agent, but \i guess that is not your problem. Had to wait a long time for "opt-out.""
Plussat: "Overhead bins for luggage are large and easy to access. Staff was mostly helpful. TV in headrest."
Miinukset: "Small seats. Low on board luggage weight limits. Flight was delayed and boarding took a LONG time- not organized properly. Poor movie & TV show selection for an 8 hour international flight."
Plussat: "The engine purred like a kitten. Seats, free videos, easy access to order drinks & food w tap of your finger. Friendly, courteous greets you w a warm smile. Spacious airplane."
Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("

Miinukset: "I have a Gluten allergy and I decided when I got to the airport that I would upgrade to Platinum. When the started to serve the meals, I politely informed the flight attendant that I had a Gluten allergy and would like to purchase a salad instead. She stated that I needed to reserve my Gluten Free option 72 hours in advance and that a salad was not available. So I ate my snack of a nuts for an 8.5 hour flight. This is a HUGE disservice to those who have allergies! Because of this...I will no longer fly with Norwegian!"
Plussat: "Excellent crew, clean and new plane, large windows and luggage compartments, comfortable seats with foot rest, spacious and clean. Great value ticket"
Miinukset: "Man staff on the ground at check in spoke a limited English."
Plussat: "The entertainment is pretty good, but doesn't make up for everything else."
Miinukset: "The staff was creepy and abusive. I had an aisle seat and was being bumped into for the entire flight. I was trying to sleep, so this was a huge issue. One of the times I was bumped pretty hard, I looked up and this stone face stewardess with glass eyes was staring angrily back, begging me to say something. Later in the flight, a girl a few rows ahead of my was asleep on the armrest. Glass eyes didn't even attempt to walk around her, but slammed her hip right into the woman's head instead. She didn't even slow down. It was the weirdest, most abusive behavior I've ever seen on an airplane."
Plussat: "Obviously this flight was shorter and smaller and I didn't isn't even expect much. However once again Norwegian exceeded my expectations."
