Plussat: "The flight attendants were professional and polite, I requested low-fat meals and they were good, the entertainment was very good, the air temperature was comfortable, most flights I had were on time."
Miinukset: "The legroom was a problem. Seats are kind of narrow, and then, with the lack of legroom it’s somewhat challenging to shift your legs, especially when the seat in front of you goes back! I felt like the person was almost in my lap. My cup even got crunched. I think my biggest issue, though, lay in how I was treated after paying $127.00 to obtain a day pass for the lounge each way. For my inbound flight my purse was branded with an “economy” class luggage type tag, and I was made to feel as though I was trying to sneak in. I had to show my boarding pass a number of times to employees after asking for the location of the lounge in order to be directed there, and then my credentials were examined as though I was trying to get into Fort Knox. Upon arrival at the desk, I was somewhat tersely informed that I had 6 hours. I went out of my way a bit in order to fly Qatar, which is supposed to be so wonderful, and I was underwhelmed. I’ve had better experiences on Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines."
Plussat: "There is a reason Qatar was ranked the best airlines last year. From service that was above and beyond, whether on the plane or in the airport and lounges. The nicest and most attentive people. Outstanding menus and comfort on the plane."

I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Miinukset: "Was on flight QR 743 Doha to Boston. The pilot landed as if it was an afterthought In good weather, it sounded as if the pilot used the computer to land. The crew worked with great pains within a difficult situation. The flight was delayed by an hour, full flight had dirty lavatories without water from the get go! One of the middle lavatories could not lock! This plane should have been better serviced by ground crew before it departed Doha! Infotainment system is confusing, keep it simple and add more up to date movies. Even then, I will still fly QR over all else."

Center seats are really tight, elbows are in the way of all passengers and if you are average height you have to turn your legs at angle to sit which infringes on other passengers' spaces. very uncomfortable. Aisle next to me is so small."

Miinukset: "They changed my seats twice and it was near the bathrooms and I hated it. They refuse to give me a better place when I requested. I didn't choose the seats they put me in and the crews couldn't handle the other passengers attitued and actions. I asked for a below but they didn't bring it to me."

The police agreed that they get lots of complaints from this airline. The crew on board was just as nasty. If you spoke russian you got treated better."
Miinukset: "For some reason reps at counter made me to check in my carry-on, thogh the plane was almost emty. Airoflot’s coffe was disgusting! Tasted like regular tap hot water!"

Miinukset: "Yo venía con ellos de Nizhny a Moscú para luego agarrar el avión hacia Vienna. Llegamos con 2 horas y 45 minutos de tiempo antes de que saliera el siguiente vuelo. Bajando del avión nos atrasaron 40 minutos. En el counter mas de una hora y en migración otro poco de tiempo. Nos saltamos la línea al ver que no nos iba a dar tiempo y así fue. Llegamos 18 minutos antes y no nos dejaron entrar. Lo peor es que Aeroflot no nos ayudó y nos dijo que nosotros fuimos los que llegamos tarde. Lo mismo le sucedió como a 10 personas del mismo vuelo y cuando estabamos poniendo las quejas vimos por lo menos otros 10 de otros vuelos con la misma situación."

Plussat: "Again, the in-flight experience was pleasant. I will definitely use Aeroflot in future, and has already recommended it to my friends."
Miinukset: "However, the Sheremetyevo Airport could use some improvement, especially the airport space management which needs to be streamlined. First, for international transfer, a big crowd had to squeezed into a small space and wait for security check. Secondly, there are too many shops in the waiting areas, and the passengers had to compete for space and sit on stairs, while the internal air quality was quite poor which became more severe in summer. Thirdly, the toilets need a complete re-vamp. It was not a pleasant experience to use toilet."

Miinukset: "The plane is narrow. They want to get as many people as possible on the expense of the comfort. Everyone is literally sitting on each other's lap. For the whole 9 hours there were no entertainment on board. The monitors on the left side of the plane didn't work. My kids went nuts! The flight attendant offered me to catch the technician who inspected the plane instead of complaining to the crew. Really??? I wanted to read a book, but didn't have a light over my head. Also the technician's fault. I don't think I'll ever fly this company again. I'd rather pay more and have a good experience."

Miinukset: "I was asked by KLM to ask Aeroflot if my baggages were on the plane to LA at Moscow, because I had 10 hours. However, Aeroflot security didn't listen to me and kept saying I'm okay( I guess she wanted to say I was a right gate) and didn't let me talk to groundhostes, and kept screeming to others to show her their boading pass. I could get to talk groundhostes right when I get in the flight, not sure my baggage were with me. My suitcase was damagged at both flights on the way and back. And had to wait for two hours to receive the form, and to claim it, you have to submit so many documents and takes tim e. I am waiting for it."

Miinukset: "This was a Finnair flight operated by Aeroflot, which was delayed by at least 3 hours and caused me to miss my next flight."
Plussat: "They're no better than anyone else, but no worse either. They pack you in, but for the fare we were paying, we couldn't complain. Air crew was friendly and polite. A few little goodies (slippers on a long flight)."
Miinukset: "Water dripping from ceiling. I told one of cabin crew. He just told me what can he do and then left. After complaining to two more cabin crew. Finally, they arranged me to another seat."

Miinukset: "I think I cannot think even one thing that I like about Aeroflot. Staff behavior was very very rude and unprofessional - didn't know how to talk to customers. In flight food special meal Asian vegetarian was the worst food I had. Air hostess were very rude and unprofessional, brought me non veg meals instead despite of special requests. Both of my flights were delayed which made me miss my connections delaying my trip by 1 day and missing my other connections which made me incur a loss of more than $200. The remuneration I was given for meals was enough for just 2 chocolates a meal."

Miinukset: "The flight had onboard wifi which was awesome to be able to be online during the flight but it did lack the level of service expected. Everything on the flight was fantastic except the wifi which kept dropping out"
Plussat: "Cabin service was excellent and the NY as well as Abu Dhabi lounge were very impressive."
Miinukset: "NY ground operations were pathetic. We were delayed 1 hour due to transfer baggage loading and people not taking their seats rather clogging the aisles... Sydney connection folk le were panicking but flight crew made up 30 minutes"
Plussat: "We were lucky to get the last row where there are just 2 seats."
Miinukset: "Width and depth of seats - very small. I especially noticed the depth - very narrow. As usual bearly room between row in front. The food was very average. I ordered Asian vegetarian and got 3 meals almost identical. For dessert I also got a piece of melon and 2 cubes of pineapple 3 times. The bread roll was stale at best. Unfortunately on the long 13 hr leg we had a male staff member who wasn’t happy in his job and basically grunted at the passengers...He was also clearing the food trays and was very rough with it and I wore a container of somebody else’s custard all over me (luckily I had a blanket wrapped around Mel). He was more annoyed that zig also got the bottom of his trousers and shoes."

Miinukset: "Etihad website did not allow check in and seat allocation until arrival at the airport. This meant that, despite having booked months before and making numerous attempts to complete web check in, my wife and I would have been placed in the centre two seats of a block of 4 seats. The check in process makes Ryanair look excellent!"

Miinukset: "- horrible crew, many crew members were just rude to many passengers. Often rolling their eye and making overt gestures to passenger questions - one crew member just threw the food tray down and it all spilled over another passenger - they also struggle with english and so is hard understanding both ways - abslote the worst food selection and quality in my experience. Better pack your own food from home"

Miinukset: "I don't know why but on all Etihad flights I've been on so far (4), I found the seats very uncomfortable. There seems to be no padding on them and hence they are uncomfortable especially on long haul flights."

Plussat: "I'd never flown Etihad before and had a 13 hour flight followed by a 5 hour flight with them so I went in with fingers crossed for a good experience. My flight from JFK to Abu Dhabi was on an A380 and it was a spectacular plane. The crew was amazing the entertainment selection was great, the bathrooms were clean - it was a great experience."
Miinukset: "I have no complaints other than it would have been nice to be able to go online and have a look at my seating & have the option to change my seat. Fortunately I didn't need to change my seat but it would be nice to have the option to at least look."
Plussat: "My seat had a problem initially it was not reclining once they fixed that later the seat got deflated. It became unbearable to seat. The crew tried fixing it for about 30 mins and they then they changed my seat. Ideally I would want refund for the flight as my experience was extremely bad"
Miinukset: "Crew was not at curtious they were busy among themselves. It would take them long to respond to the call."
Miinukset: "Long story, short, they stuck us with an astonishing $350 in baggage fees, $175 each way, for having ONE checkin bag, weigh approximately 35 pounds, for a one hour flight. Sheer thievery."

Miinukset: "AVML food was requested but I have never had worst food than on this flight (ever in my life). The crew to abu Dhabi was Ok but I had the worst experience ever on the flight to Ahmedabad. The staff was OK only. The entertainment was sub par. I recently flew Delta domestic flights and it had many newer English and Hindi movies than on this flight to India, go figure. I think even Air India may have newer and many more movie choices than this air line. I flew my sick father with Catheter business class but the restrooms in the business class were same small pigeon hole size. We could not even fit inside to empty out the bag. Don't buy business thinking of the luxury of space. It is a myth."
Plussat: "I liked the service and ease of the whole process."
Plussat: "Something unusual happened on this leg. A passenger became quite ill, and the captain decided to fly back to Abu Dhabi 2.5 hours after our takeoff from there. That certainly says something about Etihad's customer service. I doubt United would have done the same. A crew member told me that the double back meant an extra fuel cost of $50,000. The moral is: make sure you've got your medications in order—or whatever your health requires—before you board an airplane."
Plussat: "Very professional and accommodating crew on board. The Abu Dhabi lounge was large and looked very beautiful with it's appointments, but it was also packed with people (late time of day, I know), noisy with men pacing around shouting on their cell phone headsets, and I wasn't aware of the many services they had like the spa, no one informed me when I checked in. I understand this airport has a lot of business and first class travelers from all countries, but they need to better organize the lounge into designated "quiet areas" for people like me where cell phone use isn't permitted, family areas, where the kids can run around screaming unimpeded like they were, and also direct newcomers into areas where there are less passengers so you can find a place to sit & grab food without wandering around this cavernous place looking for a place of respite"
Miinukset: "The experience of transferring through the Abu Dhabi airport was a little hellish--very hot (I know it's the ME in summer), long lines, I was patted down in a cabin by a security office because of the underwires in my bra, which I was cool with, but my carry on luggage was kept outside the cabin area with my passport and money with people swarming through in lines. Not cool. I've probably never had an international transport experience like this, outside of Cuba where they pulled me aside and interrogated me by agents even though I had a visa and had documentation I was presenting at an education conference at the government state hotel, (and I'm Panamanian American, I speak Spanish, maybe that's why they though I was a scientist/spy). This airport definitely needs more basic staff and better organization. But I'd have to say this wasn't any worse-- other than the heat--- of any US or European transfer experience I've had in the last 10 years. Lounge staff in Abu Dhabi were kind of jerks compared to other airports, they were very stand offish (like they couldn't be bothered to help you, or maybe it was my Canadian/American accent)."

Miinukset: "I paid for extra space seats & what I get is seats smaller thane some of the regular economy seats, Entertainment earphone was bad effect voice quality, food was tastles."

Plussat: "Service. Crew was nice and always with a smile. Great takeoff and landing very smooth. Flight on time."
Miinukset: "Not much"
Plussat: "I was upgraded to business class, so the flight was smooth and amazing. This gesture was really a class act, I'm staying with Etihad for life!"
Plussat: "We boarded etihad for the first time and the experience was not good at all. Have two major complaints. The boarding area was very strict with the carry on laggage items size. My wife and I have the carry on bags, with which we boarded multiple domestic and international flights and never got a complaint from any carrier, but to my surprise, etihad staff mentioned that my bang is over sized in length and width and I need to check in. And second complaint is on Food. We selected Hindu meal, and the food was not good in taste and the options as well. We felt Air India, Qatar, emirates, Cathe Pacefic etc were better comparatively than Etihad. Staff were all good and supportive all the time."

Plussat: "The crew was lovely and the food fitted our needs ."
Miinukset: "The only downside was that when I received my bag after my arrival to Dhaka my luggage was obviously opened and tape back up and I was missing a lot of things in my luggage . It was very upsetting because that has never happened to me before nor did I expect something like that to happen."
Plussat: "The crew was very friendly, greeted us with a smile, and were there to help when needed. They were helpful when the flight got delayed because of fog."
Miinukset: "The food was bad. Requested for Asian Vegetarian Meal on Etihad website but was served the vegetarian option. I also heard a passenger complaining that she requested for a vegetarian food but was given a meal with chicken."
Plussat: "I didn't like baggage handling. Took too long (over 1 hour 15 mins) to get bags onto conveyor belt."
Plussat: "Entertainment system"
Miinukset: "One of my luggage pieces was lost, and not found for 3 days. Filling out forms for the lost luggage took several hours."
Plussat: "Interior design.Soft warm colours condisive to a relaxing vibe."
Miinukset: "Only one toilet available for a cabin full of people waiting in line for longer than comfort requires.Entertainment needs an uplift.Drab and dreary."
Plussat: "Loved business class!"
Miinukset: "Air condition was not good from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi."
Plussat: "The flight was awesome. A380 is thebest"
Miinukset: "They didnt have A380 from abu dhabi to SFO which was the longest part of my trip."
Miinukset: "Crew doesn't interact with the passengers at all. They act very snooty."
Miinukset: "The ground crew in SFO. Not friendly. Need lessons on customer service."
Plussat: "Food and entertainment are the two things I like about his airlines"
Miinukset: "Comfort, economy class really sucks in this airline"
Plussat: "Nothing. It is not a choice airline for at least international."
Miinukset: "I was coming from Düsseldorf with changeover at Abu Dhabi and they did not load my luggage."
Miinukset: "delayed for 16hrs in abu dhabi? who does that?! just ETIHAD AIRWAYS!"
