Class passengers for the 9 hour delay....we did have the Lounge, but a shower, rest and comfort after another previous 5 hour 30 minutes flight from Athens 11.30am Start to 2.00am start from Doa."

Shortly before we landed at Manila, we were informed that in order to meet international flight rules and regulations that insecticide will be sprayed we were advised to cover our nose,as a medical personnel I see it not good cos it can trigger an Asthmatic attack in a known asthmatic patient ,it was a lovely journey"

I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."

Miinukset: "A passenger and his wife were not seated together, so the passenger wanted to stand in the isle and talk to his wife over the top of me for significant portions of the fight. In a full flight keeping passengers out of the isle os key. I know this was a difficult flight for the crew."

Miinukset: "Flight from Copanhagen to Istanbul was delayed for an hour...computer malfunction was the reason. I was a little bit stressed because I had a connecting flight to Manila, was afraid i wouldn't make it. And also, no gate assignment yet for Istanbul to Manila. Since it was my first time to travel via Turkish Airline, not familiar with Istanbul airport."
Plussat: "They put me on a partner airline after causing my missed connection, so I witnessed nothing good about Turkish Airlines flight at this time."
Miinukset: "After a long saga with no help in making my connecting flight on the same Turkish Airlines, they gave me the boarding pass and told me my luggage was fine to carry on board for the partner airline they put me on. At the gate, that partner airline's reps (or Istanbul airport employees -- not sure) yelled at me that I had too much to carry on board and forced me to hastily check a bag with personal items I did not plan on checking. Needless to say, that also delayed my reaching the final destination even further because I had to wait for the luggage and it was already 1:00 in the morning in an unfamiliar and rough foreign city."
Miinukset: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."
Miinukset: "The ONLY thing I hate about Turkish Airlines is the necessity to go through security in Istanbul when you're in transit on an international flight. Not only do you have to go through security again - with the serious chance of missing a connection - but if it's a flight to the USA, there is serious additional security at the gate. Surely this is enough."
Miinukset: "Seat adjustments were not working on both seats in the Houston- Istanbul segment!!"
Miinukset: "Totally desorganized boarding, wrong door on ticket, no priority line....just not the way you expect things done by Turkish Airlines"

Miinukset: "The boarding process was chaotic, partly due to the airport layout, however it would be great if they were able to sort a less chaotic way to transport business class passengers out to the jets in less cramped busses."

For long haul flights they must be more generous in terms of seat size and legroom."
Miinukset: "Awful service and no one know what’s going on. Connection flight could have waited 10 minutes to accept one passenger. It was not my fault we are delayed."
Plussat: "The best airline to Europe! Period! Boing in the new 777 and has very comfortable seats with plenty of room for your feet even in economy class. Huge number of movies and TV shows. The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."
Plussat: "Great service in the airplane plus they offer some amenities like slippers, tooth paste and toothbrush, they offer you wet towels to clean and refresh yourself during he flight. Really good."
Plussat: "Baggage allowance of two 23 kg checked bags each. Meals very good including specially ordered vegan ones."
Miinukset: "Delays in boarding and takeoff from Istanbul to Boston caused flight to arrive 1 hour late which messed up ground arrangements. This may have been because of new Turkey - USA visa issue which just took effect. Refueling was also late. Note: the Istanbul airport is quite dated; restrooms at airport not very clean."
Miinukset: "The flight from Antalya to Istanbul was late so we almost missed our connection flight. This story is repeating with your airline at 29th July our Turkish Airlines flight from Sarajevo was late for 3hours so we were running at Ataturk Airport to catch connection flight to Istanbul even though we booked 4 hours delay in Istanbul. Plussat: "Fine, short flight overall. Crew was good, airplane comfortable, and the boarding process was fine."
Miinukset: "I expected more substantial dinner; perhaps because the one in the Venice-Istanbul flight was. The latter flight got beef/pasta choice, whereas the former one a tuna-fish sandwich."
Plussat: "Food and service were fine, plenty of movie choices on the screen, nice goody bag with slippers, ear plugs, eye mask, etc . . ."
Miinukset: "Turkish Airlines website is the worst I've ever used. Embarrassingly bad, really."
Plussat: "Our flight was cancelled and they gave us direct flight back to Singapore in premium economy seats."
Miinukset: "This is our second experience of flights being cancelled via Turkish Airlines. Very disappointing customer care when flights get cancelled. Staff totally unprepared and untrained for such situations. We waited around for 6 hours before finding out on our own, that the flight was cancelled. The notice was not shown on the board. In all waited around at the airport for more than 10 hours before we were finally carted off to a small hotel near by at 1230am in the morning. Very little to no information given throughout the whole process, stranded with parched throats, no luggage, clean clothes or toothbrush."

Miinukset: "We ran to the gate but we're turned away and spent 3 hours getting rebooked and to a hotel for the night."
Plussat: "Clean, efficient, on time"

Miinukset: "Less than 20 minutes to catch this plane because of delays. The flight was longer than scheduled because of delays on the airline side and US customs limited processing capability. I felt really tired when I got out of LAX."

Miinukset: "Not having extra legroom is one thing but not having enough space to fit ones leg reminded me of the slave ships where slaves were placed so tight that they did not have any moving space. I am not even a tall guy - just 5'10". It was bad especially when one travels internationally for 14 hours non-stop. There should be some federal regulation regarding this."

I was traveling with 3 children. Could you think about offering food to the passengers with children first? This would help in getting them settled into the plane instead of waiting for their food -- which for them seems like an eternity."

My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."

We had a 19 hour lay-over, pleasantly spent in a new, very comfortable hotel to which we were shuttled and from which we were returned to the airport the next morning -- hotel/shuttle comped, as was the impressive breakfast at the hotel. We will definitely fly TurkishAir again. The staff was excellent and the in-flight entertainment system was wonderful."

Up down stairs, security check, up down stairs to take the train, up down stairs to gate. Then take the bus back to tarmac to board the plane. A lot of waiting for bus, then being in the last group everyone shoved in the buss like sardines. In the future I’ll avoid at all cost transfers in London ."

Miinukset: "I got to the airport the morning of my flight from Warsaw -Dublin and was told my flight was cancelled and no longer exists. Luckily I got a hold of my daughter who was in LA at this time and woke her up at 1am with this issue. She called the web booking company Webjet where you directed us to buy the flight, and was told by Webjet that my flight was cancelled the day before and we were not notified IN ANY WAY! By some miracle, my daughter was able to talk to Webjet and get me on a new flight last minute. Again, this is all happening at 1am California time while I am stranded at the airport in Warsaw! Unacceptable!!! I am however glad that the issue was resolved and I made it home safely. But I think someone needs to look into this immediately because if it wasn't for my daughter, I wouldn't have left the Warsaw airport due to the fact that the airline cancelled the flight and neither the airline, Kayak, nor Webjet notified me...."
Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"
Plussat: "Nice clean new plane. Courteous cabin personnel"
Miinukset: "Gluten Free meals that I ordered were not available, which is a major problem! Boarding took extra long as Crew wasn't ready yet, flight was an hour late in arriving, making it an exhausting 11.5 hr ordeal. Main issue: raging male passenger who screamed at Crew and other passengers for several hours and in effect held us in fear as very young and entirely female crew had trouble diffusing his anger. Seriously thought we were going to have to make a stop to get this guy removed from the plane. What was he so aggressive about? Not having a cradle for his baby. There were many other passengers w infants and he accosted the crew and the couple that did have the bassinet aggressively over and over again. Horrible."

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."
Plussat: "Taking off, flight, & landing were ok."
Miinukset: "Delayed flight Weight limit of 23kgs. made us carry too much carry-on luggage. Entertainment was really poor compared with Emirates. The flight attendant with the long hair serving Economy Class was not friendly. In fact, He was almost shouting at the passengers especially two ladies wearing hijab. With all honest, BA is not the same airline that it used to be."
Miinukset: "British Airways misplaced our luggage for three days, and would give us no further information than "it will arrive soon." So, we were stuck near the local address we had provided in case they called for 2 full days. They refused to give us a more precise time as to when they would be delivered. Well, at one point they did say that they would be delivered at noon, but they weren't. Throughout the entire time waiting for the luggage to be delivered, there was no sense of urgency or concern on the part of British Airways. It seems missing luggage is just Business as Usual at British Airways."

Plussat: "Crew was terrific! Comfortable equipment, nice food offered. Generally felt the entire BA team had a great attitude which makes a world of difference regarding the experience."
