However, a bunch of people without gate check stickers on the rollaboards were also allowed to board before Zone 1, which was aggravating. There was a long delay on the tarmac, during which we had to pull back to the gate or to a maintenance area before we finally took off. When we arrived in Vegas there was no gate for us to pull into, which led to another long delay of an already long and delayed flight."

Miinukset: "The positives don’t even come close to offsetting the misery of Delta’s seats. I honestly don’t remember the last time I was so cramped and uncomfortable. I’m not an abnormally large man - 6 feet 200 lbs - and there was no room for my legs or my shoulders in an “upgraded economy” seat. I fly weekly for work on another major airline, and only took this one in a crunch. But I am quite certain this was my last Delta flight and I’ll be advising others similarly. The service and entertainment aren’t sufficient to mask an awful seat configuration."

Miinukset: "Upon arriving to Frankfurt airport (gate Z) from Boston, i had an hour to make it to gate A including passport control. Once I got to to gates A50-69 I was told that i had to turn back and go through a different passport control as the one close to gates A50-69 was too busy/full. So I turned back although i had no specific gate number where the passport control was. Once I got there, after 10 mins walking (around gate Z20) around and asking lufthansa staff I came across a rather long queue. At that point I only had 30 mins until my flight to Budapest was boarding. I knew I would not get through that queue on time and there was no assistance. So I decided to turn nack and go back to gates A50-69 assport cobtrol where luckily there was no queue at all. I do not understand why i was turned away by staff the very first time I got to that passport control and why there was no assistance by airport staff. Not happy at all about that."
Plussat: "The people who work for Lufthansa are the nicest i’ve met, on par with Turkish airlines. The times for boarding and departure were respected, the flight was short but pleasant."
Miinukset: "The long lines. After check in and security, boarding could have involved less of a standing and waiting, with a bit of ahead communication that could be attained. For instance indicate the order of boarding, time until boarding, and place where the passengers from rows 50-70 should form ia line..."

Our next connecting flight got cancelled without notice so we got booked on the next flight 3 hours later. My complain on their web site after this poor trip has been acknowledged automatically but completely ignored by the customer service."

How refreshing it was to be able to get a free cup of coffee after a 6am flight. We will be looking into Lufthansa again!"

I liked that they asked the person in front of me to put his seat up during the meal time. That helped me eat more comfortably. Entertainment options were extensive."
Miinukset: "Boarding was delayed and was tedious. It took forever because there was not an orderly line and just a jumble of people. We had to show our passports 3 different times between check in and boarding. People had put their passports away, then had to get them out again at the gate. That slowed everything down to a crawl. Our party was not accommodated when we asked for seats together. My husband and I were separated and we were separated from our kids. The ground crew did not seem to care. Take off was delayed, but the captain never told us why. The guy in front of me reclined his seat the whole time. I felt like a sardine in a can. So uncomfortable!"

Miinukset: "I did not enjoy the turbulence, which I suppose is unavoidable. More importantly, I felt quite guilty about the greenhouse gas emissions of my flight. I have decided to cut down on my air travel as much as possible as a way of reducing my carbon footprint."

Plussat: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight."

Miinukset: "One of the worst experience I’ve had, if not the worst. Lack of communication between flight attendants at gate was the main reason for missing our flight, after 2 delays from the previous flight. When we got to the gate they closed it at that moment, earlier than it should have. A Mr. Fenney, person in charge at the gate, didn’t help much. Just went through the motion and as slow as possible trying to help us. It seemed he just wanted to pretend he was helping us. Worse was his attitude when telling is the gate has already closed, didn’t do anything to help us, nothing at all. We had to literally get information out of him. We then went to customer service were the same thing happened, a lack of care that we missed our flight due to things out of our control. Even to the point where the agent told us “be sure to be there on time this time”, like if it was our fault we missed it (we told her the details of our situation). Till this point they don’t seem to care. They left about 15 people, that i know of, hanging. If they had better comunication between gates and waited a miserably 5 more minutes (although they closed the gate earlier then they should have) everyone would have made it. Throughout the whole process we noticed that american airlines employees did not care that many on that first flight had connection flights. They were just going through the motion, slowly while all of us were a bit desperate knowing that the layover time was going to be very close."
Plussat: "Gave me a bagel before landing."
Miinukset: "Boarding process was disorganized, no one helping adjust suitcases to maximize space (one guitar laid on its back instead of standing on its side took an entire bin instead of half), the flight attendant woke me up to lift my seat back because the person behind me wanted to eat. Their flawed design is not my problem."

My husband and I so enjoyed the disposable plastic blue teacups that we brought them home with us and still use them as kitchen scoops all these years later. I know that may seem silly, but even without that nostalgic memory, it just feels SUPER unpleasant to have to pay for the basic (non-alcoholic) beverage service. Honestly, just charge a few bucks extra on the ticket in the first place."

Even if One presses a button to request for some water, no one comes to the seat; this habit of BA continues for the good part of the last decade. Reminded me why I stopped flying BA! 4. No wifi even in Business class! Someone in senior management of BA needs to fly SQ, Cathay, Qatar, Emirates and learn what can be improved. Most of these airlines have better service in economy than business on BA!"

Movie/entertainment selection was poor. Airline was packed with a Group that was very loud, drunk and partying up and down the aisles."

Miinukset: "This seems like an old plane. Poor quality of screen to watch movies and very small selection of movies. No charging spot to plug and charge our phones. This was a long trip and these two elements are important to make the trip enjoyable."
Plussat: "Leg room. Direct flight from Europe. Drink services were a lot better than our outbound flight."
Miinukset: "Plane was incredibly old for a long haul flight, with no power socket and extremely outdated TV's. Seats were dirty and small. We were in row 34 (middle of the plane over the wing) and when they got to us with the food options, they had already run out of the second choice on both occasions. On the first service, we asked the attendant if the food had any fish/seafood ingredients (due to allergies) and she said no. We then read on the lid of the food tray that there was a possibility of fish traces so my husband could not eat it. When we told the attendant about it she told us they didn't have anything else. Hard to believe there was nothing they could do, we've never experienced this issue before. We then asked another flight attendant if there was any food available for purchase but she said no. Luckily, she was able to find a vegetarian dish that my husband could eat. We're grateful that she found this as the next food service was not until 6 hours later. Sad that we had to ask again, we were expecting that they cared a little more. Overall, BA didn't meet our expectations unfortunately. This was a trip to Europe in which we took 4 BA flights and overall, the experience was of that no better than a low cost. Would have a hard time thinking of choosing this airline again."
Plussat: "I loved the friendly crew who seem to work tirelessly to take care of everyone's needs and have the role of flight attendant, server, and bartender. I personally loved the meals, drinks, and snacks on the flight from London to Las Vegas. It's nice to break up the long hours. Lots of great movies and shows to choose from especially "classics" like Friends and The Truman Show."
Miinukset: "If there is any way you could please consider taking out a row or two of seats to give everyone just a little more room to breathe and stretch our legs, it would be so appreciated! This makes such a huge difference on our overall mood and feelings of health and well being. We were all so crammed in our seats I could barely move to even reach a book from my bag let alone stretch my legs. Luckily I was sitting next to a very friendly passenger, so it was bareable. But it was a 10 hour flight; that's a long time to sit with moving. There are also tiny corners to stand and stretch our legs but we seemed to be in the airline attendants' way- although they never said anything."
Plussat: "The seats assigned."
Miinukset: "The aircraft was old. The seats in WT+ were therefore old and not very spacious. . The cabin crew seemed to be on a mission to save food and drink by not asking the passengers if they wanted anything. They juat walked up the aisles and you had to stop them. For a 10.5 hour flight we got one meal, a tiny snack box and one pizza snack thing. The inflight entertainmwnt was dreadful. 5 inch screens. All in all i would not be paying again for an "upgrade" to WT+."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Plussat: "It was short, but delayed. Good security-very thorough although under-staffed"
Miinukset: "Uncomfortable seats, NO free beverage or snack. Flight attendants were ridiculously busy with running credit cards for passengers who bought food/etc that others could not even get to the toilets. NO entertainment at all. Felt like United but at least no one yelled at me ir hit me."

Miinukset: "I had the misfortune of sitting with an extremely rude and offensive passenger. He was verbally abusive on more than one occasion. Was extremely rude to crew. 747-400 lovely but very tired interior now....I know that these aircraft will be phased out, so not much can be done in the interim"
Plussat: "The snack provided onboard was tasty. The flight attendants took their job seriously."
Miinukset: "Southwest Airlines style seating with a foldable tray table over a middle seat. Sold as a business class cabin at a high price for an hour and a half flight but we left feeling ripped off. No boarding order and overall chaos boarding. I feel that for the price and being advertised as business class I was taken for a ride so to speak, and not in a good way. This would not qualify as business class on any other airline irregardless of how short the leg was."
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."
