Boarding crew should be knowledgeable; Buses seats are more comfortable than Qatar air ways..
The economy seats were ok in terms of comfort. Food was terrible and much worse than on prior trips on Qatar and other middle eastern airlines.
Plussat: "I couldn’t eat the chicken for lunch, and I told the crew to change it for me and bring the vegetarian, but nobody brought anything. I was starving until the next meal."

Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

I’m not sure flight with such short connections should be sold at all - with the previous flight being late 20 minutes, we were met at arrival gate by Qatar airlines employee that told us our connecting flight left without us. They helped us with everything onward- getting new boarding passses, hotel and meal vouchers, but all of this should not have been needed if such short connections were not sold."
Plussat: "I appreciated the friendly and always service minded staff. The plane was clean and I enjoyed good leg room. I was happy with the menus and the film selection was entertaining and current. All over a great experience and I would not hesitate to choose Qatar again."

Miinukset: "Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies..."
Plussat: "The airport has some inconvenient that thier waiting room there is no bathroom and water once you behind the security check no life access so people who has illes there is no life support like an water and bathroom i was thinking it is like usa. All the middle East airport has some inconvenient they built good airport but important is mixed and there should be protest international for travel convenient"

Miinukset: "The customer service is terrible. They refused to accommodate me for a 19 hour layover with a complimentary airport hotel stay, claiming there was an earlier flight--that was still 12 hours away, that I would have to pay to book anyway. Pure scam to get you to pay to upgrade your flight, pay for hotel or be condemned to stay in there airport for a whole day. Never ever again! Don't fly them!"
Miinukset: "We had to wait for about 5 years, more than 3 hours unscheduled wait. During this time we were provided with a very poor breakfast."

I lost my second flight because of the airport‘s stuff mistake . They asked me to pass the passport check line instead of passing the transit that’s why I lost my second flight and then I had to stay 12 hours in airport to catch the second flight which was available for me plus I paid for penalty!!!
They should allowed free seat section
The food quality could be better, especially Asian vegetarian and Non vegetarian options, the communication with the crew could be better, There could be more variety of entertainment options especially for teenagers.
Amazing crew and hospitality I really enjoy flying with them definitely my favorite so far:)))

Plussat: "I got a return ticket from Houston to Lagos, the first leg of my trip went pretty well, no hassle at all, the staff and crew were great and professional."
Miinukset: "But the second leg of my trip which was Lagos back to Houston was horrible, the Turkish Airlines employees at the Murtala Mohammed International airport Lagos were the worst ever, unprofessional, rude and lack basic knowledge of boarding. Decided to do their own thing rather than what the airline allows. It's almost like they lacked training or just don't want to learn. No accountability whatsoever as one of the employee said "it's not like it's gonna affect my job anyways". Poor poor terrible customer service, no courtesy, no etiquette. I can go on and on but ain't nobody got time for their negativity."

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

So, in the future (yes I plan on flying through Turkish Airlines exclusively for international travel), I will book my flightts with a larger "gap" between flights! Miinukset: "On my flight to Greece the wheel on my suitcase was broken. I tried to address this on the day of my departure & was told it's too late to put in a claim. This was a bit upsetting to me. I didn't realize that a wheel had broken until I left the airport. On the way to where we we're staying the 2nd wheel broke, thus I had to drag my suitcase the rest of the way."
Plussat: "This is a government run airline with very poor customer service. I flew 6 flights in December, 2016 in business class - out of which 5 flights were late. There was no help at the transfer desk in Istanbul to get onto another flight as my connecting flight was missed because the original outbound flight was late. The customer service staff both at the lounge and the transfer desk were inept and rude and did not want to help. I shudder to think how economy passengers are treated."
Miinukset: "1) No organized boarding process - there is a general melee at the boarding gate with a lot of shoving and pushing. 2) Customer service staff are rude, incompetent and unhelpful 3) No recognition that customers are to be served 4) Food selection in business class was mediocre and poor 5) Old aircraft - on flight from Istanbul to London, business class was 3 abreast with the middle seat being used as a tray table. 6) Sleeper class is mediocre - seat width is poor and one cannot even turn on the side"
Plussat: "I like the food served on Istanbul-Kabul leg of my trip. A bit different from the usual menu but really good. Boarding, departure, and arrival were on schedule."
Miinukset: "It was raining a bit but we had to ride the shuttle bus from and to the plane. We got wet while climbing the stairs to the plane. I wish we used the tube gate instead."
Miinukset: "in a previous email we explained that by the time we arrived at the gate in Sao Paulo, the airline refused our boarding the plane and said only "we don't like Kayak". We never boarded the plane and there was a credit to our credit card, so why are you asking how our flight went?"

Miinukset: "1. There was a delay on the flight from Barcelona to SAW (Turkey) of 2.5 hours. Turkish Airline didn't update us at any time what and why is the delay problem . Due to this, we missed the connetcion flight to Tel Aviv.They took us to another air port(Attaturk) in Istanbul (1.5 hour driving) . They gave us only food vaucher and no compensation for the overall delay(7 hours!!!) 2.Icoud not order a Cosher foo at all TK flights web sitr. WHY ??? 3.the Entertainment is very poor. only one movie and no subtitlse .Music is wired."
Plussat: "Most important all flights ran on schedule. Food service and quality were excellent and a great surprise Clean and new aircraft I would travel Turkish Air again and recommend to other friends"
Miinukset: "At 6'3" I was a bit jammed up in Economy Security was a bit overdone. Initial screening X-Ray carry on bags, thru metal detector. After landing Zurich--Istanbul, again thru xRay and hand screening, then again at gate complete screening again. I guess better too much than not enough."
Plussat: "Love the entertainment choices, behind able to watch while seasons of TV shows, new movies. Makes the time pass easily."
Miinukset: "When you are doing a long flight, you don't want fruit to be the only choice for dessert. It's hard enough being gluten free but to find that nearly every airline just thinks that fruit is acceptable is disappointing. They did provide a gluten free bread roll rather than the usual rice cakes but on two recent legs, didn't heat it. When I told the flight crew the second time that it is inedible when not heated, he was great and said he would do that. And it is nice to eat grilled vegetables which are delicious but sometimes particularly on a long flight, a bit more variety is needed. Turkish Airlines is excellent but fixing this would make it great."

Seats need to have more cushion and a little wider. The person seating next to me was too big and I could not move since he was occupying his weight on mine due to small seats

The Etihad ground staff didn’t communicate about new flight timings in bengaluru & didn’t escort or help passengers when we are stuck in security. Other airlines took responsibility to escort passengers. The food was good AUH- BLR; AUH- WAS . Others like WAS- AUH & BLR- AUH. Food was horrible. Etihad looting money in name baggage policy. No communication to passengers about cabin baggage policy.
Food quality and choice need to improve. Entertainment movies were old and not much good choice

My seat ate who was a stranger to me got messily sick and the attendant was gracious and helpful to her. Also the meal from Abu Dhabi to Bengaluru was the most delicious I've ever had on any flight, which includes some international first class travel."

Miinukset: "At Washington Dulles airport the whole staff was really rude and unprofessional. I had only one hand carry and it was 9 kg. I requested them that I can buy a bag and can divide the stuff in two bags. But supervisor who seemed Indian was really racist and he kept insisting that we are flying in 5 minutes. Either you have to pay penalty for this hand carry or you can cancel your flight. I have never ever seen this kind of behavior from anyone specially from a supervisor. I ended up paying $300 extra for only 2 kg extra weight in my hand carry. I would recommend my whole family and friends not to choose this airline anymore."

Miinukset: "I spent 15 minutes on the phone to Abu Dhabi at my own expense (international rates, no free phone number) 3 days prior to this flight to order a vegetarian meal. The phone consultant assured me she'd ordered it. However onboard the flight attendants said it had not been ordered and even accused me of not phoning up. I almost had to get out my skype phone records to prove I had tried to order the meal. One flight attendant said he would order it for the next leg of my flight, but when i got on that flight it showed he had not ordered it. I had tried to order this meal 5 times via the etihad website and it did not work. I also added my frequent flyer number which showed as going through, but it did not register (a fact i only found out after the flight). Also felt uncomfortable with the fact the safety video was only half translated into English. Arab speakers had a travel prayer said, English speakers did not get the prayer."

Miinukset: "The On Boarding process, a bit too many checks on the weight of Carry ons (7Kg)and Laptop Bag (5Kg), which was a big inconvenience and I never experienced with any other airlines and believe me I have flown on virtually every airline. The food options were limited and the crew ran out of food choices (Veg) fast."
Miinukset: "Very cramped plane (for a 787 Dreamliner)... though I am a bigger fellow, it must be said. The window seat was almost unbearable."
Plussat: "Nothing...at check-in I was made to pay for 10 kgs for having 1 kg over weight"
Miinukset: "Everything...crew from JFK to Abu Dhabi was fussy and overall very rude...didn't even serve food properly"
Plussat: "The food was delicious (there was lamb at multiple meals) and the flight attendants had everyone close the windows so as to help with the jet lag."
Miinukset: "I had a lot of issues with Etihad this trip. First, they changed our return date no less than 3 different times, one of them by more than 2 days. Then, they wouldn't allow us to pick up our checked luggage for our layover in Abu Dhabi because it was under 24 hours long. Unfortunately, while we made our connecting flight the next day, our luggage did not. We ended up spending 3 days without luggage, and ultimately went to the airport ourselves in order to make our tour."

Miinukset: "On my journey to Abu Dhabi the flight departure was delayed by an hour. Otherwise it was efficient - and on my return journey. The seating is uncomfortable - lack of leg room. Tv monitors are a little dull so hard to see. Food isn't that nice."

Miinukset: "Etihad has the most ridiculous carry on baggage policy. They have this cage within which your carry on should fit in. If it does not then you have to pay $320 to check in the bag which I was forced to pay. Never seen any airline doing such a shitty thing and overcharging. Also, I think they turned the AC off during the flight and I was fanning myself for the entire 14 hour duration of the trip. WTF??"
Miinukset: "I was assigned a middle seat next to a obese person. It was very unpleasant 13 hours, and the airlines could have moved one of us."
Plussat: "Service in the Economy class was a nightmare. The air hostesses do not respond fast, take hours to get a glass of water and sometimes even don't bother to get you what you have asked for."

If they had moved me to the earlier flight, it would have left a lasting impression on me. I am looking to join a new loyalty program (from Lufthansa) and this gesture could have gone a long way."

The airline ran late and I almost missed this connecting flight to LGW. The airline didn't act very sympathetic to my situation. I wished that didn't happen as my experience I'm sure would've been much different.
One flight has delayed, but connecting flight ( the same company) has another plan for us. And left TO TLL. Instead Finnair.Who waiting pax from BRUSSELS. GREAT EXAMPLE OF COOPERATION. 👍

Miinukset: "Free water ! On a 2+ hours flight, it’s scandalous to have to pay for a glass of water. Also, your cabin crew was inexperienced (but trying hard, credit to them) and understaffed. And the flight was late."

Plussat: "My checked in bag did not arrive to HEL... Nedless to say I did check the bag tag was properly labeled RIX to HEL... oh well ... bad score for Baltic Air ... truly hope to see my bag in CGK when I arrived. Qatar airways pls come to the rescue."
Miinukset: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

Miinukset: "Long delay on first flight leg Staff provided little help with transfers, made us run through airport but then decided to close the next flight anyway without the transfer passengers Next flight offered was 9 hours later, only offer was a 10EUR meal voucher - ridiculous"
Plussat: "most of the crew were polite and helpful"
Miinukset: "super small plane... had to climb a very narrow staircase into the plane... overhead bins couldn't accommodate much of anything... we weren't warned this in advance. one rude steward (Miks) July 21 Flt. BT444, 18:30-19:50... he just stood there watching me struggle up the outside staircase into the plane with my suitcase... scolded me for bringing suitcase on board, argued with me, etc. (I've traveled the world and this suitcase is always brought on board)... he was not service-oriented or helpful. thankfully, other staff did help... but he left a bad taste in my mouth for this airline."
Miinukset: "Abigail in MLA (Luqa Intl Malta), one of the sassiest and unhelpful agents I have met. Ask for payment for baggage, does something with my credit card- then tells me I need to go to another desk to pay. So inefficient. This on top of her and her gate buddy screwing around at the desk throwing things at each other. Professionalism is not here. To top it off, the plane sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes and we just about missed our connection. Dirty plane too, gum stains on carpet and dirty seats. Will not fly with these clowns again."

Miinukset: "The plane we were supposed to be on from Riga to Helisinki had mechanical problems so they switched our plane. We had an hour delay do to that. Then when we got to Helsinki our luggage never made it."

Miinukset: "They delayed our flight from Gatwick to Riga with no information given to passengers. Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

Miinukset: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."

Miinukset: "I needed to cancel the flight a month before, and I got no refund"
Miinukset: "The flight was cancelled, so I did not make to the my connection flight with different carrier. I had to reschedule the flight and stay in the hotel overnight. AirBaltic refused to compensate for my looses due to thair fault, castomer service is very poor, they took refusal position right away. Air Baltic planes are very old and no air conditioning, avoid air Baltic."

Miinukset: "In Stockholm they denied my boarding to Riga and Moscow as they told me that I need Shengen visa. When I was buying ticket I wasn't informed that I need to have Visa. I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket."

Miinukset: "My flight was delayed, and I missed my connecting flight. Next flight was 8 hours later. They did put me on this flight but didn't give any assistance to help me with another connecting flight because it was a different company. Voucher for a cup of coffee didn't cover all the troubles I had to go through."

Miinukset: "The scanners did not accept my boarding pass. 40% of the passengers had to have boarding passes reprinted. It was chaotic."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed approximately 45 minutes as a result of late arrival of aircraft - surprising since it was a morning flight.. I am 6ft2, leg room is VERY tight. I slept most of the flight so cannot speak to food or entertainment. Watch out for the fees! 5 euro per leg for a seat assignment 60 euro to check bags."

Plussat: "The flights were on time, and the Riga airport was efficient."
Miinukset: "The planes seemed very old and rickety. One was an old propeller plane that looked like it had a large patch. The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."
