I had the bad luck of traveling on a flight where there was a family with 2 children, aged 2 and 3 years. As you can imagine, it's hard to keep them entertained and calm all the time. As a result I couldn't get any sleep and got kicked on the back of my seat every now and then. Aside from that everything was pretty good - the boarding was great, the staff was exquisite, the food was great and the list of movies was quite big.
The flight didn’t even happen.
Very bumpy ride with lot of turbulence. However, the flight landed 25 minutes early, which shortened the time.

Miinukset: "the flight was almost 2 h late without any explanation from the ground crew whats is going on , why is the aircraft late and what would be with the connection flight in Istanbul. while arrived at Istanbul it was total mass : representative of turkish airlines was waiting and focused on a group from Korea or china , helped them and barely answered other passengers who didnt know what is the status of their connection flight , which was not shown on the screen ( to tel aviv for example ). then it turned out that my flight took off 15 min before and i was approached to turkish desk to get voucher for poor meal at 2.30 am in the morning and a new ticket . that was poor compensation for 2 h delay in BUD and delay to substitute flight that took off on 7:45 am , almost 6 h later in istanbul . i was forced to run at the airport like a mad instead of having a rep of the co , explaining the passengers where to go and get their new flight ticket and not run hundred of meters with no address in the terminal area . that experience was so bad i havent been through for 13 years . i arrived TA after 14.5 h of trip for a flight who to take 4 h net including istanbul - TA ."

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Plussat: "I landed SAW airport with another operator. Turkish airlines should have simply waited for me as my reservation with them starts in SAW airport. My previous operator sent my luggage to SAW as final destination, which means i have to cross passport control, collect my luggage and start the check-in process; given the time window between the flights, that was simply impossible. TURKISH AIRLINE's ground staff - transit team of SAW airport - Made it happen! I was requested just to wait, then they confirmed transferring the luggage and gave me respective tags! landed CDG - Paris to find my bag safe and sound :)"
Plussat: "It was a short flight but they still fed us and supplied beverages. So many airlines do not do this or charge you for everything!"

Turkish airline staff was horribly rude, wouldn't acknowledge their mistakes, very uninforming and all of it to pretty much force you to pay the airline more money in penalty fees for changing flight arrangements and new ticket purchases. And be careful THEY DON'T have any announcement on the intercom system at Attaturk (I had no clue as to that being the case there, nor have I ever been at an airport that doesn't). No boarding announcement, no gate change announcement, no nothing.....and if and when you miss a flight because you didn't know the gate changed while you're sitting at what you thought was your gate and no one bothered to let you know (including the person who checked your boarding pass when you came into that gate area, it's down hill from there! They will tell you it's your fault and not give a dam* what you say to argue otherwise....and......if you don't pay the penalty they dictate to change your flight ($1114 on a $780 ticket in my case so I purchased another ticket on Turkish air on my own for $236 to get me where I was going), they WILL cancel your return flight without telling you, at which point you will have to buy a new ticket to get back home and they end up getting the money out of you regardless. This was an absolute nightmare of a trip, couple with being treated like dirt by everyone at the airport. I will not ever again fly Turkish Air if I can help it."

Miinukset: "Poor communication, a 6 hour delay followed by a 7 hour layover (during which we had to sleep on an airport floor because Delta couldn't offer us any hotel vouchers). Gate agents disappeared after 7pm becuase they were due to be done with their shifts when our flight was originally supposed to leave at 6 pm. It felt like we were trapped in the movie The Terminal. Oh! And our bag was misrouted, because that was just how things went those 2 days. All in all a 6 hour trip turned into 18 hours. I could have driven home in that amount of time!"

I understand that we had to turn back due to his condition but why was he not removed from the plane and put on a later flight when he felt better instead of making all of us late? You would think after all this the crew would be kind and appreciate our patience but 2 of the flight attendants were the exact opposite of that. Both of them were very short with people and the one kept rolling her eyes at people as they were handing out drinks. The only thing I would give 5 stars is the tv entertainment. My seat wouldn’t even recline for me to enjoy though."

I heard a crew member call forward to say "tell them no more rollaboards" so they forced everyone left to check. On departure they slammed shut several very large empty overheads. WTF"

Got to watch bag handlers throw and drop luggage like true gorillas. Delta, this time you truely are the worst. Wont book you again."

Also, staff claimed there wasn't enough bin space so asked people to check their bags. We saw people with two big bags get on board at the start, and then staff made everyone at the back of the line check their bags. But there was plenty of bin space before take off. And we were seated in the last row which can't recline."

I've had to purchase a new set of luggage AND will have to pay for them on my next 2 legs on Delta. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). Flights booked by one company and operated by another seem common enough that this system needs to be improved. - Silver KLM travelers Also WAY too hot on plane."

Delta operated. Missed connecting flight due to single late crew member in dfw. 1.5 h late. Missed work and incurred costs of over $800. Delta failed to hold connecting flight(s) at gate and it actually left EARLY. Fail. Never again.

Miinukset: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."

Then our luggage lost for 3 days. Not happy! We ended up flying from Toronto to Paris then to Bordeaux. Lost my upgrade money for seats. Now have to deal with KLM for refund!"

Also wasn't expecting some of the comforts offered to "regular" class seats like eye masks, ear plugs, pillows and blankets. It was an overnight flight, so maybe that should have been expected, but I don't think we had those 4 years ago when traveling overseas."

Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."
Miinukset: "Boarding (by bus) was a total chaos. I had to stand for about 50 minutes, either on the crowded bus or, after climbing with great difficulty three flights of stairs to a high jet-bridge (I am 76), standing there forever with 200 persons waiting to get access to the plane. Totally unacceptable. They started the boarding process early (50 minutes before departure), but passengers were allowed to actually board the plane at the time it was supposed to take off."

Miinukset: "Train your ground crew. Our luggage was not placed on our flight from Paris to Amsterdam and were sent to Amsterdam on separate planes. My husband’s medication was in his bag. This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Miinukset: "Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned."

Plussat: "The flight was on time, the Swiss Air plan was clean and the swiss chocolate and ice cream was wonderful!"
Plussat: "Crew was friendly, food was pretty good and I like that when they made announcements we could hear them. With some airlines the crew mumbles and one can’t hear a thing. So thank you for speaking loudly and clearly. Also, the seats were actually pretty comfortable."
Miinukset: "The shuttleling between terminals at the airport is Iceland is a bit unorganized and the wait is long; or at least seems that way when a person is jet lagged."
Miinukset: "I had a four hour layover in Iceland, which was nothing to do with Kayak. But four hours in Rekjavik airport in the middle of the night was not enjoyable."

Miinukset: "The flights were booked too closely. We sat in Minneapolis for over an hour after departure time because they didn’t have crew enough to load baggage. That is unacceptable for the price paid and has messed up our vacation."

Miinukset: "Do to always having a layover there is added risk flying with Iceland Air. Our first plane got in late so we missed our connecting flight. They couldn't rebook us for a full day. I offered that instead of completely screwing up our vacation, they could put us on a flight to another city. We were willing to make the best of the situation but Iceland Air was having none of that. They did however get us a hotel in Iceland for the night.....which they kicked out of 3 hours later and moved us again. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. And we are now out $1000's."

Miinukset: "There was no boarding announcement for the flight out of Reykjavik - people just started lining up and it was assumed everyone knew that is how it worked."
Plussat: "I really loved my first experience with Iceland air. The plan was so new, clean, even in coach I felt like I had plenty of legroom. The entertainment screen was large and I had lots of options. The staff was so helpful, not to mention beautiful. I hope to fly Iceland air again."
Miinukset: "No food offered. Attendants were not vigilant in trash collection. After being told specifically that my bag WOULD get to Munich with no trouble, BOTH of my bags were left behind as well as the bags of many other passengers."
Plussat: "Connecting flight on Finnair albeit from Oslo, Norway, delivered as promised. On time departure and arrival. What a relief. Too bad Icelandair ground ops did not get our luggage on board. No surprise there. Lost valuable vacation time and money tracing and recovering our possessions."
Miinukset: "From delayed departure from Dulles to hot airplane, cramped seating, minimum service, late arrival in Reykjavik and 19 hours of constant gate changes, nothing went right for the airline and the hundreds of frustrated passengers. Waited from 0730 Saturday to 0300 Sunday to continue to Helsinki. 5 unexplained flight delays and last minute gate changes before flight being cancelled and rescheduled. What has happened to Icelandair?"
Miinukset: "My final flight and I was going to finally get some food. Only to find that without a major debit or credit card that wasn't happening. I needed to pay for my breakfast and cash was not acceptable. In addition to a massive overflow of parents going through passport control and neatly missing my flight I was quite unhappy"
Miinukset: "The boarding process was interesting - because our flight was late getting in, I thought we would miss our connection but the passport control was quick and easy and then our flight left late so there was no need to rush"
Plussat: "They handed out water during boarding which I found a smart idea."

Miinukset: "Our luggage did not arrive in Brussels at end of our flight, as of 1730 next day we still don't have belongings. I now have to shop for toiletries and clothing that I bought especially for my vacation. Very disappointing."

Plussat: "I like the affordable price of Icelandair, but it is still high enough to require professionality and good service."
Miinukset: "Thia flight departed about an hour past the scheduled time, which made our next connection very rushed and stressful. Additionally, there are very few complimentary beverage and food options, which is abnormal for an international flight, especially since it's not much cheaper than other airlines (if at all)."
Plussat: "I wasn't expecting touch screens on the back of each chair. There was also a good selection of movies and shows to pick from."

There were prepackaged snacks for sale at very high prices, and drinks at high prices. And again, just how much smaller do they airlines think they can make the seats?
