Absolutely a nightmare which after paying for 3 nights hotel with no discount, I was further inconvenienced by the inability to receive my 2nd luggage and after requesting it be delivered, I, I, tracked my bag and you chose to send it 3 days ahead to my destination and I HAVE NOT RECEIVED any acknowledgment of my online inquiry which is why I am complaining. I've had to purchase a new set of luggage AND will have to pay for them on my next 2 legs on Delta. I apologise for seeming so harsh as I know you've had so much trouble because of the tornadoes, but this leg of my trip cost me an additional $800.00 plus AUD and I was here in the US to care for my father who recently had a 2nd heart attack and my final days in USA were meant to be a holiday, and all I can say is the stress because these expenses have removed any enjoyment (I know I'm looking at this half empty, not half full). Plussat: "The onboarding process was awesome! The rest was mediocre at best. The cabin was friendly but not helpful. They had weird policies which we have never heard or seen elswhere. The flight had huge screens that won't turn off, it was freezing cold and the crew had no idea how to help."
Miinukset: "More knowledgeable crew and maybe more crew members, as there were too few and the service took more than 2 hours to complete. Never seen that happen on a 7 hour flight."

The beverage selection was finominal. The cleanliness of the plane and restrooms, although the handle for one of the restrooms fell off the door."

Miinukset: "Late leaving, when boarding in CPH had to wait in extremely hot area once past the desk where our boarding passes were scanned and then the area where we had to queue just prior to boarding the plane was glass and therefore extremely hot. The worst issue was that there was one family with extremely loud children with the parents doing nothing. I saw a steward way up the plane looking down at them at one stage while serving another passenger but she did nothing. I like children but this was constant with the father actually encouraging the children to make more noise once he realised that other passengers were annoyed. There were plenty of other children on the plane who were behaving. Although SAS staff were aware of this they did nothing to ensure the comfort of the other passengers. One friend of mine stood for about 40 minutes at the back of the plane and another for about 20 minutes to get away from this constant noise as it was so loud and persistent. I had to listen to music to block it out.SAS staff should have intervened because this was very loud and as I have said constant i.e. every few seconds for most of the flight."

Miinukset: "Tried THREE hours to get a phone picked up to cancel my flight the day before this scheduled flight. My friends booked with Expedia the exact itinerary and were able to reach a human and we're told that SAS always reimburses for cancellations. I finally emailed vayamas/kayak to cancel and 5 days later received a reply that there was no cancellation refund. Apparently Kayak provides a no communication/no refund policy. My travel companion had the opposite experience with Expedia."

Miinukset: "The agent at the gate misled me into thinking there would be no fee associated with a checked bag. When it turned out there was, I was told it was too late."

Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Plussat: "I had a row to myself because I was a 1st class ticket holder but they didn't actually have 1st class seating."
Miinukset: "Smaller than average seat size."

Miinukset: "A landing card us required from each non EU passport holder. No mention of this was ever made, and we stood in front of an open customs desk filling out the forms we could have done at leisure during the flight. A lot of other stuff was poor -- seat pitch, no free food, etc. but this was one simple thing other airlines usually do."

Miinukset: "There was a delay because of a software issue. They had to shift people around manually because of it. Baggage Fee was extremely high (> $50)"

Miinukset: "When purchasing the ticket there was no mentione that bagage was NOT included something which I assume when flying with an All Star airline. Ended up paying an extra 70 € for my luggage - not happy."

Plussat: "The attendant made sure we got checked in and on the flight even though there could have easily been a hang up that prevented us from getting on the flight. It was pretty empty so we got a full row again for all our baby stuff. Very nice"

Miinukset: "SAS overbooked the flight and changed our entire group's seats. The attendant at the front desk was very rude during this whole process. We eventually got middle seats in the middle row. During the flight, the flight attendant forgot to give my friends their meals but everyone sitting around them received meals. When we used the overhead button to inform them of this discrepancy they didn't respond for over 30 minutes. We eventually found someone in the aisle that was able to help get the attention of the flight attendant. The overall interaction with the flight attendants was terrible. There is no such thing as customer service with this airline company."

Plussat: "Crew was friendly, food was pretty good and I like that when they made announcements we could hear them. With some airlines the crew mumbles and one can’t hear a thing. So thank you for speaking loudly and clearly. Also, the seats were actually pretty comfortable."
Miinukset: "The shuttleling between terminals at the airport is Iceland is a bit unorganized and the wait is long; or at least seems that way when a person is jet lagged."

Miinukset: "I was very disappointed that it cost me 152.00 to check one bag."

Miinukset: "I was unaware of not being able to have my personal item with me when in row 9, so i tried to grab what I needed out of my bag- but was VERY rushed by the crew. No access to entertainment for that 6 hours."

Plussat: "A passenger that I was going to sit with had an obvious head cold or flu. Due to my own medical recommendations, I calmly asked a flight crew member if I could change my seat. I was helped nicely, no big deal. Thank you So much!!"

Miinukset: "Our flight to Reykjavik was delayed due to the air traffic control strike and as a result, we were going to miss our connecting flight to Paris from Reykjavik. Iceland Air didn't have a representative at the gate in MSP (instead, they seem to have contracted employees from Sun Country to manage check-in and boarding) so they knew nothing about any connection flights and couldn't help us whatsoever."

Plussat: "Friendly staff, clean aircraft. Was very pleasantly surprised at how organized, clean, and neat things were. Will definitely be flying Icelandair again and will recommend to others. Also planning a trip to Iceland because it was just that great!"
Miinukset: "Terminal seating was limited but I believe they are renovating or under construction to address this issue. Was not that big of a deal to me or my boyfriend because we had been sitting for hours anyway. We just made ourselves comfortable on the floor."

Miinukset: "We still don't have the one bag we checked 30 hours after landing. The line to customs was unbelievable in Iceland. We were only changing planes, not staying, but we were funneled into a hallway with about 500 other people waiting for 6 customs agents to talk to every person and stamp every passport. We were very late for our plane, but they held it for us. Finally, although the interior of the plane was new and well appointed, the bottom seat cushion had very little cushioning. Compared to other airlines it was hard."

Miinukset: "No social distancing and no enforcement of wearing a mask properly. Wearing one on your chin or half of your mouth with your nose hanging out needs to be corrected. Empty seats should be utilized for social distancing regardless of fare. First class and the back half of the planes were practically empty while everyone was in the center. We should have been allowed to spread out."

Miinukset: "The first class seats on these newer 737-800s are VERY disappointing. Width is ok, but legroom is on par with economy expectations. With my tray out and the person in front of me reclined, I could barely see my laptop. There is also very little space under the seats, especially for the aisle seat."

Miinukset: "The flight attendant that helped passengers in the main cabin was rude, lacked empathy, and lacked resourcefulness. She argued about throwing away a drink that she poured, didn’t care to explain things to passengers when asked i. e. why charging outlets were not in service, and her tone was rude ..."

Plussat: "The attendant for my area was amazing. I was in the back of the plane and he was friendly. He helped me look for my power cord. He is an outstanding member of your team!"

Miinukset: "Seats were a little close together, so my knees were always touching the seat in front of me. Not terrible, but not ideal. I'm 6'1" and my legs are a bit long."

At boarding time passengers were informed if there was an issue with the plane and maintenance is on their way to check out the problem. 30 minutes later we were still till that maintenance is on their way. One hour later there is still no information as far as when the fight will leave but they kept updating the boarding time. There was only one person of the counter who could help re-assign passengers to different flights due to their layovers. After waiting in line for 40 minutes and the line making no movement I called the airline 1-800 hundred number and explain my situation to the American Airlines Airlines representative. they really give me a new flight that left 20 minutes later after my call if I did not call I would not mean it that flight nor any other fights that morning because they're all in the afternoon."

Miinukset: "Only served half people beverages. No entertainment"

Plussat: "Nothing"
Miinukset: "Bathrooms didn't work delaying initial departure an hour. Ran to connecting flight and made it prior to door being closed. 12 passengers in total were told that we would be boarded and then were abrubly told none would be boarding our final leg to the Caymans even though our seats were available. Horrible company culture not focused on customers."

Miinukset: "Took off late from Minneapolis only to announce that there was something wrong with the plane, no explanation as to what but that we had to circle to burn off fuel before returning to Minneapolis. Switched to a flight to D.C. with a connection to get to LGA. As soon as we sat down on that flight an announcement was made that we wouldn't make our connecting flight. Got to D.C. and asked to switch to go into Westchester instead of LGA which we were denied. So changed to another connecting flight to LGA that didn't take off on time. Offered nothing for any of the inconveniences. Etc."

Miinukset: "I left an expensive Bose head set in my seat that could not be found....or did smobody decide it was better in their possession.?"

Plussat: "All hope was lost until Greg came to our rescue. We made our connecting flight on time and didn’t have to reschedule the entire trip until the next day- losing out on lodging and plans abroad."
Miinukset: "The way this flight was cancelled due to weather and couldn’t be rescheduled by anyone at the airport, on the phone — knowing it was due to the size of the plane and the weather conditions. I wasn’t even offered a voucher or accommodation for what I was being told would be a 24-hour delay. That was until we met Greg, he literally saved our trip and our experience with American Airlines."

Plussat: "straight through flight no connection. Crew was friendly and smiled."
Miinukset: "I do not like that you have to pay to choose a decent seat. Our flight was slightly delayed in boarding, and was not communicated."

Miinukset: "Airlines have an industry wide problem. They INTENTIONALLY make every part of flying miserable so that passengers will pay anything to make it less painful. For example... if you want to make boarding quicker, build the cost of checked luggage into ticket prices so that you don't have people carrying everything on and clogging up the process. Or use the existing and publicly available research to improve boarding mechanisms... but that would mean you lose an opportunity to squeeze extra cash out of people for 'priority boarding'. This phenomenon is real, and currently be investigated by congress. Call your senator."

Plussat: "In flight entertainment options. new, clean aircraft."
Miinukset: "Seat comfort. All the money spent on aircraft amenities, technology, storage, etc. Why not more comfortable seats?"

Miinukset: "Delayed flight, moderately friendly crew, moderately comfortable flight, expensive."

Plussat: "The flight staff did the best they could for how few of them there were."
Miinukset: "Flight cancelled, and the gate was understaffed, so it took forever to even get up to the counter to try arranging alternate flights. Also, the Kayak/Webjet tickets we were issued interfered with the process as the airline could not reissue us tickets directly. Moreover, one Kayak & Webjet got actively involved, they even tried to deny us passage on the alternate flights that American Airlines suggested. By the time we did make it up to the desk, everything was taken/full for the next few days & we have been struggling to make our overseas travel even possible ever since."

Plussat: "It was nice that I had a seat empty next to me, allowing for extra room. Flight was a little early in landing in Dallas, allowing for extra time for a short layover to find my terminal and gate for my next flight."
Miinukset: "All was good."

Plussat: "Assigned seating, snacks, touch screen media feature."
Miinukset: "Staff could have been more friendly."

Plussat: "The food, in flight entertainment and attention to detail by the Flight Attendants was very good."
Miinukset: "The personnel handling the front desk at check in gave myself and others bad information about how to check a bag. Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

Miinukset: "Think it is ridiculous that I had to pay so much to select a seat ahead of time, and it was just a regular seat. I can understand for extra legroom or exit row, but for a regular seat, that is ridiculous. Then there was a fee to change priority boarding, so I could ensure I was able to have my carry-on with me, instead of risk having it go underneath. Unable to use the entertainment, as I was unaware had to use my own device, which I had not set up in advance."

Plussat: "I liked the fact I eventually ended up in Dallas - that's about the only thing I liked about this flight."
Miinukset: "Inconsistent service - some customers got cans, some got just a cup with a lot of ice and drink. FAs were uninterested when the drink I wanted was not available. Flight was delayed by a maintenance issue. Overall, a terrible experience."

Plussat: "The staff tried to help as much as possible."
Miinukset: "I called American Airlines as ssoon as I book my trip to set up and make sure my small dog could fly with me. They neglected to inform me their partner, jetstar, does not fly animals. My luggage did not arrive with me. Both of my suitcases were mangled and broken. Items in my suitcases were shattered and crushed even though they were well packed and protected. We got stuck on the terminal in MSP and missed our connecting flight. When we finally arrived the systems were down and could not get new flights or hotels. We were told we could not get hotels and had to argue for an hour. Even though it was a maintenance issue. I arrived a day late and had to take extra leave. The plane from LAX to Tokyo was horrific. I booked a window seat, was stuck in the very middle. There was no way to charge outlets devices. The screen did not work. And my new luggage was also damaged with even more items destroyed."

Miinukset: "They didn't give my parents who are in their 80s seats together, that's not right."

Plussat: "Friendly and prompt service."

Plussat: "Pretzels and drinks."
Miinukset: "The group's for boarding are ridiculous. The back of the plane should board first and so on... the new plane we flew on had the smallest seats we've ever seen. When we tried to board, the crew would rudely say, it's not your turn. We were flying for a funeral and paid a lot for our tickets. We should be treated with respect. One lady said to put our luggage in the first available compartment, then when we tried, another lady rudely said, if that's not where you're sitting, you can't put your bag there. We were embarrassed and when we tried to explain what we'd been told she told us to keep moving."

Plussat: "Nothing. Was a lot of waited, the people were mad rough."
Miinukset: "We had a cup of water and a cookie for a 3 hours flight. The captain put gas at the airport with us in the plane. we waited in the plane almost 3 hour because of a storm."

Plussat: "Tv in front of every seat, how far the seats reclined."

Plussat: "boarding was well organized and flowed well crew was nice and courteous"
Miinukset: "Seats seem quite narrow standard fare of biscuits to go with drink"

Plussat: "Crew was friendly. Made the connection!!!! Only made it because arrival and departure gates were adjacent but I was very pleased that they had not closed the doors at 8 minutes before departure time."
Miinukset: "Long delay to take off caused by: delay in plane arrival, extra security check of carry on baggage due to deplaning passenger, missed time in takeoff queue."

Plussat: "Food service was very good - and the crew kept going even after we hit turbulence. I'd already been served, but I know from past experience with other airlines that there's nothing worse than smelling the hot food and being told that service is being discontinued,,,,while you're now hungry"
Miinukset: "Lisbon airport was stressful, perhaps more guidance before releasing us into the melee. I found an Air Portugal email about Lisbon Airport just now"

Miinukset: "The clarity about baggage fees, really unclear and very expensive."

We felt claustrophobic, crushed, and at one point people were even having to jump over the escalator to the bus loading area because there was too much crowding. Dangerous"

Miinukset: "The terminal in Lisbon is poor. Poor food choices. Dirty bathrooms. And keep an eye on the change you get back, 2 out of 2 purchases they tried to shortchange me... one was for over 2 euros."

Plussat: "Nice seat (I paid €48 euro for more legroom) and the food was decent and the movie selection good."
Miinukset: "TAP's boarding procedure is a bit of a mess. We had to wait an extended period of time to board and no information was given. Also keep in mind you have to pay extra for luggage, which is a real deal-breaker when traveling for extended periods of time."

Miinukset: "Checked bag fee was expensive at $120 per bag. For the two of us bags cost $240. The plane boarded late this departed and arrived late. Otherwise a very good flight. Very comfortable, all Amenities worked, the plane was clean and the staff accommodating."

Plussat: "Very modern aircraft, good (but not excellent) food, small bathrooms"
Miinukset: "It was not made clear that I would have to pay for my baggage extra - it was $120 to check one bag! Boarding was slow and pretty awful and that you have to pay for any seating in advance is just awful! Also JustFlly wasn't able to actually assign the seats I had chosen was a real turn off. Bad term"

Miinukset: "Flight was almost an hour late because the boarding process was so slow. They took forever and then literally bussed us to the other side of the airport to the budget carrier side, which wasted more time. Was a bit of a joke really. Served seafood snack, not everyone eats seafood."

Miinukset: "at check-in agent said we did not have coverage on our ticket for our 2 -50lb bags dispite informing her that we were covered and had no problem on our arriving flight to Portugal - we had to pay 196 Euros or leave our bags in Portugal Additionally we had ordered a wheelchair to assist my wife to the gate - which we also had our arriving flight - agent said she had no record of it. She said we could wait which we did and waited 2 hours to obtain a wheelchair (and came close to missing our plane) not to mention the stress associated with the whole check in process"

Miinukset: "why do they sell their tickets when they know they can not make the connection? little time between the two flights compared to the functionality of the airport. never again TAP"

Miinukset: "There was a hefty charge to reserve seats which wasn’t clearly mentioned on the Justfly website. Knee room was the tightest I’ve had on a commercial flight. The seats barely reclined which is important on an overnight flight."

Plussat: "Very nice flight. Complimentary wine, meals and movies. We were in Economy Plus so the leg room was quite good."

Miinukset: "Had to check 2 of our luggages, and it cost $95 per piece. Never flown an airline where I had to pay more than $50 per piece. Also carryon has to be less than 8 kg. Our small luggage that we had to check never had any problems with any other airlines about being a carryon but since it was over 8 kg, it had to be checked. Took a 7.5 hour flight and the entertainment screen was not working for anyone, as the system was broken. Will not be flying with airline ever again."

Miinukset: "Kayak needs to inform us passengers that the price doesn’t include checked in luggage. It’s a very unpleasant surprise to find out that one has to pay 180$ on top only to have luggage. That’s unacceptable"

Miinukset: "Arrogant crew. Hid in galley behind curtain for most of the flight. For several hours not even the offer of a cup of water! No possibility to charge electronics in economy class. Charge of $ 75.00 for first bag on an international flight?!? We're not talking about a budget airline, but THE airline of Portugal!"

Plussat: "Cancelled our flight, at 4am. Did not give a reasonX"

Plussat: "Both check ins (to and from Boston) the staff were rude. No information, just alot of speaking Portuguese to other staffers while my family and I stood there. The flight and crew were good, clean, kind and efficient."
Miinukset: "There was a strike in Lisbon. Thousands of people trying to go through security and four people working the booths. Plus NO information. Just chaos, bad feelings and HOURS of standing in lines. Stressful. Will NEVER go to Lisbon again."

Plussat: "Good staff, Quick flight, Easy flight no problems. The biscuits are tasty."
Miinukset: "Seats need an inch or two more leg room for me, the biscuits they gave out were tasty but would of been really nice to have a sandwhich. But that's air travel these days. There was a slight problem with the air craft before we took off. Air conditioning was off and the door were closed while we sat there for 15 mins. They kept us well informed though, not the end of the world."

Plussat: "Flight was overbooked. TAP Portugal removed me from the flight without warning (I was already at the airport, with plenty of time to spare), and is now making it nearly impossible to get a refund. Would NOT recommend flying with them."

Miinukset: "This airline consistently overbooks all of their flights. I bought my ticket 3 months prior and checked in 10 hours beforehand and was put on standby along with 5 others in the same situation. When we spoke to the TAP people at the gate they proceeded to tell us that they are used to this and it happens on every flight!!!!! I cannot believe that their is an airline that is so greedy that they purposely overbook their flights! It almost ruined our entire trip because we almost missed two connection flights and they did not care at all."
