Movie selections very poor. Lots of talk about social distancing before boarding and then in economy class we are packed in like sardines.

It was very frustrating experience with Kayak and Japan Airlines. Chatdeal with Kayak has handled the issue in a very unprofessional manner. I had booked japan airlines from San Diego to Bengaluru via narita on Nov 21. While at San Diego airport , I came to know that japan airlines flight from Narita to Bengaluru was cancelled 2 months ago. The airlines asked me to check with Kayak as they were the primary ticket issuer. Now the issue begins from here : Chatdeal in association with Kayak was my primary ticket issuer. Firstly the customer support number that they had issued was of no use as it would always ask me to connect to representative via chat. So I went over chat over. Now in the chat, the representative were very slow in responding. They took almost 30 min for 1 response. All this while I was at San Diego airport having nowhere to go. Finally after hours of discussion, they said that this matter will be taken care by CHANGE section of chatdeal and they would require 24 hrs to come back. I objected as I was in San Diego airport with nowhere else to go. I decided to book a flight myself at 2.5 times to original cost. Finally I agreed and waited for 24hrs. But they never got back. After couple of days and after multiple attempts to get response over mail, finally they responded just to wait for some more days and its Still on going after 1.5 months. This was one of the worst case of professionalism

I wonder of the attendants could have been a little more firm with the mother to ask her not to let the child roam the aisle."

We had to wait in a huge line to get rebooked and it was clear the Japan Airlines employees did not know what they were doing. Put me on a flight next day and couldn't even provide hotels for us (gave us $100 to find our own which was near impossible at that time). I had to sleep in a sleeping bag in the airport overnight by myself."

Too busy confusing instructions during boarding. Crew are busy talking to each other but, nobody is explaining to the passengers what’s going on. Zone one and two is a joke. One crew said one line is which, here another crew saying the reverse. During flight the attendants are missing their mark in distributing meals. All the while, attendants are running on the isle. They look clueless but, chitchat a lot at the end of plane. A few are rude as well. I have traveled using several airlines and so far Qatar for me is the worst.

The flight was excellent. The airport need to adopt some system that make the travelers less tired.

Overall good experience with just the JetBlue Qatar should have kept the checked in luggage at the Boston Airport while rebooking the missed connection to MSP. That made it extra hard on passengers to carry their luggage to hotel and back and check-in again.

It's getting to the point in life that a flight in coach in those little seats for 9 to 15 hours is just too cramped. This was a packed flight with nearly every center seat taken. Good for Qatar airlines, which is a terrific airline, but its tough to ride in those little seats on long-haul flights

It was not a big deal but I did not appreciate being offered something and then no follow up. Next time do not offer something and then not follow through."

I had to search for someone to help me to clear up and then I felt as though I was an inconvenience. I then had to look for someone to bring food for myself and other child. My other child is 1yr and 11 months and I was told they were only allowed baby food not a child meal. Although there were a few spare seats on the plane I was squashed into a full row with a 3 yr old and one year old on my lap. I appreciate that there may not have been any bassinet seats left but would have been helpful not to be on a full row as a single adult travelling with two small children. No offers for assistance with bags."

I explained we were on our way to our wedding and it would be nice to have some rest. They were rude with the way they told us no, they even suggested we sleep on the floor of the airport. We ended up paying for the lounge, but then so did about 1000 other people, there was no room for us to sit together. My wife's allergy free meal wasn't provided on the first flight. We had to speak to about 5 people to get a meal ticket at the airport and they were very reluctant to give us one. I told them she was hungry and needed to eat. They told us we could take the meal we got with the ticket on board, when we went to use the ticket we had no choice in meal, were given a coke at 6am and weren't allowed to heat up our meal or take it on board. In summary, all the cabin crew on all 4 flights were excellent. Staff at Doha airport were incredibly poor."

Baggage drop Tukholmassa oli vaikeaa löytää. Terminaali 5 on sekava remontin takia, siksi ohjeistus/kyltitys pitäisi selkeyttää. Lyhyellä lennolla on typerää tarjoilla mitään. Finnairin mustikkamehuinnostus on outo: se on roiskuessaan tahraavaa nestettä, jonka jakaminen ahtaasti istuville matkustajille on täysin turhaa. Vesi riittää, jos sitä on erikseen tarjottava 45 minuutin matkalla.

Ihan hyvin toimi kaikki, paitsi jalkatilaa oli melko vähän pitkälle pohjoismaalaiselle.

Koneeseen pakkautumista voisi järkevöittää, esim. rivi tai muutama kerrallaan, jottei syntyisi ryntäylyä ja hässäkkää.

Tuntui kuin lentokenttävirkailijat olisi olleet TET-harjoittelussa. Ongelma ei tietty ole Finnairin henkilökunnassa vaan Münchenin kentän virkailijoissa. Oli kuin kaikki olisivat ensimmäistä päivää töissä. Todella heikkoa toimintaa.

Aikataulun pitäminen

Todella ahdas kone.

Check in Pariisissa oli vanhanaikasta. Jos on matkatavara menossa rumaan, tai haluaa boardingpassi paperiversiona joutuu odottamaan että check in avautuu.

Henkilökunta oli ihan ystävällistä. Koneeseennousu oli hidas. Tarjottavat ovat nolla-arvoisia, vain lasi vettä ilmaiseksi, ei ole toimiva konsepti ollenkaan.

Finnair siirsi lentomme vuorokaudella eteenpäin. Ilmoitus tuli tuntia ennen koneen lähtöä kun oli jo toimitettu matkalaukut koneeseen ja tultu turvatarkastuksesta läpi ja odoteltiin koneeseen nousua lähtöportilla. Hyvä, nopea lento, Hki lentoasemalla hyvä palvelu

No leg space. I am 6ft tall, I am am not super tall. There is zero leg space. Borderline dangerous because with turbulence my knees are forced against the metal on the seat in front of mines. Horrible and painful experience. Not comfortable at all. Just one extra inch of space would be a big difference.

It’s was great experience flying with American Airlines

lentoemännät hoiti tehtävänsä hyvin. Koneen ilmastoinnissa oli vikaa, tuli vilu.

Our family booked three seats. The entertainment screen in front of one seat froze on the third hour of flight. Even though I complained about it to two crew members, they promised, but in reality did not try to resolve the situation. I guess the attention to passenger needs could be improved. I appreciated if one of flight attendants could replace the broken screen with any other way, for instance, coloring book or a notebook for a child, who was left w/o working screen. Otherwise, FINNAIR is a fantastic company ! Thank you !

Kone oli kolme tuntia myöhässä.... Meitä pompoteltiin portilta toiselle. Ilmastointi oli olematon.

Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)

Tarjoilu

Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.

Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.

Nopeaa toimintaa, kaikki sujui hyvin.

Matkatavaratietomme puuttuivat järjestelmästä. Turhaa vaivaa moisesta asiasta. Valitin suoraan Finnairille.

Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Henkilökunnan ystävällisyys oli hyvää, mutta pienille reittilennoille Suomen sisällä olisi mukavaa saada pikku suolaista.

Ilmainen kahvi olihan kiva. Lento myöhässä yli 2 h Hesan päässä odotettiin rappusia. Huh huh. On se vaikeeta!

Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.

Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.

Erinomaiset ja viihdyttävät lentäjät mutta lento lähti myöhässä

The boarding was quick and in an orderly fashion. Plane was clean and everyone was friendly.

Flight attendants were all terrific! Really enjoyed the refreshments and snacks. Flight was swift and on time (no delays)! That’s the best part!!!!

Flight was fine. Crew was very efficient. Problem was that we had to take this flight as we had to lay over a night in Dallas due to mechanical delays. We had first class tickets from the delayed flight and got put in the very last row of the replacement flight. Still don’t know what reimbursement we’ll be getting.

Miinukset: "Missed connection due to AA gate agent not holding for a couple of minutes for connecting passengers. Also was given incorrect connnecting gate number. Resulted in extra flight and 5 more hours of travel in overnight trip. Also had maintenance delay on earlier AA flight."

Avianca charge me another 900 Dollars on Top of 828 Dollars I did paid on Kayak.com, to "reschedule all my trip", that finally is exactly the same I had before . Avianca overcharged me 898 on top of what I Paid Luggage came destroyed and with missing thing at the final destination, nobody take care of that yet. even I made the compliant on write."

Miinukset: "Again boarding was just a mush of people. American keeps revising the boarding process but does little to make it actually efficient and orderly. The grouping should have made things better but gate agents don’t consistently reinforce the policy so passengers are all lax."

Plussat: "The American Airways gate agent was very helpful fixing the problem that British Airways created. She went out of her way to get me booked on AA flights to catch my BA flight from London to Riyadh."
Miinukset: "My original flight was cancelled and the first available flight was 3 days later. BA booked me on the flight but failed to change my ticket from the original flight causing me to miss the flight from Kansas City. At the airport BA agent told me on the phone that I would have to wait 3 more days after I had already waited 3 days because BA canceled my original flight. Because of the flight cancelation I missed two days of work and because of the failure to ticket my following flight I almost missed a full week of work. The BA booking person seemed content that there was no way I could make it to Saudi prior to the end of the week. Fortunately, the AA agent was able to find a way for me to continue my trip on a later flight."
Plussat: "I liked the ease of the gate for the airplane."
Miinukset: "There was no entertainment. The airline did not offer a complimentary headphones, and failr sure the wifi was not even working. Also was not that big of a fan with the extra long layover. Was not a fan of the extra time in the holding pattern above Indianapolis, nor the extra time 150 feet from the gate after we landed."
Plussat: "An agent found me a window seat for the Chicago-Barcelona leg of the trip with extra leg room. That was amazing. Also, the lost luggage assistant for American Airlines was super helpful and nice. Also, the 787 (I think that was the Chicago-Barcelona craft) was a very enjoyable airplane. It was super smooth. It had high tech windows that adjusted the amount or type of light that could filter through the windows depending on the settings."
Miinukset: "When I arrived in Barcelona my Bag went missing. It showed up an two hours after my flight landed."

Flew BA after a long time. To my surprise it was a great experience, from checkin, boarding to flying. all staff was really good barring one air hostess which seemed a little too firm in her tone and communications. Food was excellent, seats were really comfortable as well as had plenty of leg room (I am average height 5-10). Couple of minor issues though didn't impact me but I can imagine other traveller getting impacted, the head phone socket was too loose for headphones jack which meant the audio cracked etc every now and then. the multimedia remote on the flip side had remote for the games and my controllers joystick was malfunctioning. But this can be with any airlines any plane, and could be your unlucky day .. as my kids seat had everything working well.

Seats (in World Traveller Plus) were very comfortable. Service from the cabin crew was excellent.

Crew was wonderful flight was nice. Business class was too expensive for more comfort. E economy were tight and uncomfortable for long trip

Miinukset: "The security check at the gate requires one to leave the comfort of the lounge early incase of queues and then wait in an over crowded lounge with the other passengers (so the fact you are business/first or have one world status does little to ease the burden of boarding. The lounge also did not offer red eye passengers a meal and the on board meal service is slow (so if you are hungry it eats into precious sleeping time). The breakfast wakeup was also disappointing. My meal of choice was not available and the whole process was rushed like a fast food restaurant. Overall I am disappointed by the club world offering on this route and would not pay for it again unless intended to get on and just sleep for the entire journey."

Miinukset: "Male crew who served me on this flight was rude as he threw me the disembarkment cards in a hurry but treated the Caucasian passengers nicely. How snobbish! My family and I will never recommend British Airways to our friends"

Miinukset: "Food is bad. Did not like it one bit. Entertainment too limited, expected more from BA (particularly in the music area). Feels more.like a budget airline! Maybe London airport problem, but both flights from London (at the start of holiday and at the end) were delayed. Nearly missed my connecting flight to NZ. Overall: Resent experience with BA and London Heathrow airport was to the extend that my future travel won't be with BA nor through London airport."
Plussat: "More legroom than other aircraft, plentiful IFE (in-flight entertainment), and a USB charging point in the seat back near the video screen. Decent food and wine, great crew."
Miinukset: "We departed the terminal for takeoff but a passenger had a medical emergency requiring a return to the gate and off-loading along with finding the passenger’s baggage down below. Not the airline’s fault, of course, but maybe passengers should carefully consider their health before embarking on an 11.5 hour flight from one continent to another."

Plussat: "Flew Sydney to Heathrow and was very comfortable in my seat. Seemed wider than most and at 6ft 3 I had plenty of room to move my legs. Pleasantly surprised and actually looking forward to going home next week - just hope its the same 777 plane ! :)"

Plussat: "The best part of the Stuttgart to London trip is speed of getting through the Stuttgart Airport - no lines and very efficient. And the fact that it is a jet (my preference over turbo-props)."
Miinukset: "No entertainment connections. Not even free coffee, tea, or soda. Very no frill. Even a small bottle water and hand wipes would have been better than nothing. Not much interaction with crew."
Miinukset: "Online checkin wasn't working and the flight was oversold... After running through Heathrow after a delayed connection, we were told 5 min before the flight was scheduled to take off that it would be delayed. The coach seats were some of the smallest I've ever experienced (I fly 2x a month on average). The crew broke wheels off both of our roller bags."

Miinukset: "On both flight s going to LAX to London and London to LAX we were sitting in the back of the plan with all the families with noisy kids. on the flight to London I had two twins in one seat it was difficult for the mother and the children were all over the place. with a tantrum at the end of the flight because of having to have the seat belt on. On the flight home we were in the last row and all kinds of crying kids. If I ever fly again on British Air I want a seat further forward but if is hard to pre book your seat. We are in our 70's and would like a quieter area."
