Miinukset: "I attempted to cancel this flight and arrange to use the same route within a year, but when Oct 3 came, nothing had been done. I called as I had before to Justfly and was then told that I had to use the ticket by the date I purchased it (3/26) . I should have just done nothing as when I cancelled the ticket, it cost me another $100l. I will not use Justfly again. I am out more than $1000."

Miinukset: "First flight (to Istanbul) delayed, and nobody cared to help with making connecting flight booked on the same Turkish Airlines (THY)! Different THY employees sent me to three (3) different places (with two suitcases in hand) at opposite ends of the huge Istanbul airport before finally pointing to the Business Lounge and causing my missing the connection. Had they directed me correctly and cared about my first delay, I would not have missed it. I lost the first-night pay at the hotel of my final destination, my friends lost their time and money on making trips to pick me up, my ailing relatives were in pieces worrying about me, and so on. In sum, a fun trip (NOT!) ... If you care for some details, here you go... They did not inform their own connecting flight about my delay. Despite issuing me a boarding pass, nobody was looking for me or announcing where I should go. I spent an hour running around the airport at THY employees' misdirections. Business Lounge revealed I was already issued a ticket for next morning's flight (without informing me via my email they had or otherwise). I then looked at their own monitor and saw a much earlier flight the same night on a partner airline. I had to point to that flight, and they issued me a ticket there. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I understand that flights may delay, and I could forgive an honest mistake in misdirection. But this was a wide-spread incompetence and utter unwillingness to help their own business class (!) customer. I can only imagine what pains the economy travelers had to endure! Just to give you a flavor, after realizing that my connecting flight was boarding (when my delayed first flight arrived in Istanbul), I asked the crew to direct me to the best route to my connection. They pointed to the gate personnel. The gate personnel who greeted us DID NOT KNOW about my connection and sent me to the opposite side of the airport without notifying the connecting flight to wait for me. No help/transport was offered. When I made my way to the connecting gate with my luggage, the flight was gone. Nobody to be found from THY around the gate. A neighboring THY gate's employee directed me to the "Care Point" desk far away. A sizable line emerged there, with only two agents working it. I asked one of them if business class was served there. They said, "Yes, get in line, please". After 30 minutes in that line, I approached a "Care Point" agent (a cruel name for no-care-whatsoever service) who told me "You need to go to the business class desk upstairs. Economy only here!" No apology, no expression of concern, yelling "Next!" when I told her that I wasted 30 minutes of valuable time in line at their direction and would appreciate her doing something to help or making sure I reach the right person. Off to the "business desk" I go... another 15-min. run in a different direction with luggage in hand. That desk could not help either...ARGHH. Do I need to continue?.."
Miinukset: "Didn't happen. My first leg to Athens was canceled which created a humongous headache since it ended up canceling my return flights. Air Canada had to put me on completely new flights there and back. I think this has taught me to go directly through an airline. Justfly was not helpful. Neither was Turkish airlines."

Miinukset: "The boarding and deplane process could be better for business class. Also the seats only have two settings upright and sleep. Several airlines have intermediate setting for meal/movie. To be 5 Star they need to keep up. The lounge (although large) could use better organizing. Too many people walking all around. Very limited space, if any, for a little quiet."
Miinukset: "In Business Class, the seats did not recline all the way to become flat. Other airlines (including Qatar and Etihad) have seats which become flatbeds even in 3 hour long flights. Very disappointed that Turkish does not have that options from IST to ISB. The boarding experience from IAD-IST was excellent...but it was the opposite from IST-ISB."

Miinukset: "The airline lost our luggage and still has not been able to locate it. In this time with all the technology it is quite disappointing that it’s been over a week and still no response. We have conveyed the seriousness of the matter to the Airline but still no response. Very disappointing experience."

Plussat: "The flight itself was fine, once I paid for it a second time!"
Miinukset: "We missed a connection on our flight out, so the airline decided to cancel our entire flight home! They didn't even notify us they were cancelling it. We found out the day before we were supposed to leave to go home, when we tried to check in online and couldn't. I spent hours of the last day of our vacation trying to figure out what was wrong, then searching for a rebooking a new flight. It cost us more than $1000 USD extra, just to get home. NOT the way we envisioned ending our vacation. I'll never use this airline again!"
Plussat: "I am not a picky person to me every thing was great taking into consideration that you cant satisfy every one."
Miinukset: "Not every one can follow the speed of the way you announce things, remember your flight take people from different continents in the world Also not having some where to sit while waiting for the information of which gate to go it is very challenging. The AC was almost killing the older people not me but the older lady sat next to me complained all the time but it didn't work. I know it is the challenge difficult to solve however you can give them some advise. Find a private space to talk with sick people because some people might not be comfortable to talk in front of every one."

My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Plussat: "Entertainment on long haul flights is top notch. Selection is incredible just bring your own headphones if you wanna be able to hear anything. Food is the best out of any other carrier. I've seriously been to full service restaurants with less tasty and well prepared foods."
Miinukset: "Seats are hilariously small. I know you're thinking "they're all like that." They're NOTHING like any other airlines. I've flown the following for reference: Lufthansa Air Swiss Delta Air France Air Arabia Saudi Airlines Egypt Air and a couple more I can't think of right now. I'm a very medium sized build and really short (5' 6") and I was so uncomfortable I wanted to (and probably will) cancel my return flight with them. My wife's back is still hurting from that flight. The staff are just plain awful save for 2 flight attendants. Out of 2 flights so far. I was told afterwards that this is commonplace when flying Turkish Airlines. For fairness sake I should mention that both Egypt Air and Saudi Airlines were worse. Whatever money you think you're saving by flying this atrocity you're gonna be spending on fixing your neck and back. Spend the extra and go with Swiss or even Delta. Avoid this rubbish"

Miinukset: "Boarding was confusing. The gate showed as "open" sometime before boarding actually commenced which was confusing. The seats have a very strange headrest thing you can't move which I found a bit annoying. Otherwise seat was good."

Miinukset: "The food was not as per the standard, the ticket said lunch but we got refreshments . The boarding took lots of time as they have forced us to remove a 1 kg excess to the 23kg allowed . Staff should make sure that people are sitting on their designated seats, rather than just guiding them to their seats. At least 4 were sitting not on their seats in row 15 and 16, these are what I saw"

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed for around an hour, without any prior notice."
Miinukset: "After I had run from one end of the airport to the other to go through customs and catch my connecting flight and boarded with 15 minutes to spare, I was pulled off by one of your officials and was not given a reason as to why. The flight attendants were talking about sweeping any areas of the plane that I had been in. It was when we had almost reached customs that I was informed that another passenger who was stuck in Customs had mentioned my name and that is why I was pulled off. So, I was treated like a criminal and questioned and threatened by the customs official who went and searched my belongings to see if I'm lying about what I brought with me. They then tried to get me to fly with the other passenger just because we knew each other, even though I clearly and repeatedly told them I am not traveling with that person. I suppose this isn't all Etihad's fault, but if you are pulling passengers off of your plane, don't ignore their questions and treat them like criminals. Also, when I got back on, the filght attendants were unsympathetic about my situation and smiled it off. It ruined my whole flying experience. Also, the buttons to adjust A/C and call flight attendants was really high up and hard to reach for a petite woman."
Miinukset: "The cupcake served was eaten by some animal before opening. Have lodged complaint and may send them video."
Plussat: "Etihad gives you lots of food and makes sure you never go hungry. The Air hostesses were fairly helpful even thought it was the early hours of the morning and the entertainment was fairly diverse but could be better. Having USB ports to charge your phone and their devices is fantastic."
Miinukset: "The seats were small and very little leg room. It was not very comfortable and very hard to get some sleep considering it was an 11 hour flight overnight."

Miinukset: "We didn't like that our confirmed aisle seat had been switched since we checked in and were confirmed. It was uncomfortable for a while trying to solve this with the ground staff, but they put the message through and I mentioned it again and it was resolved in the end."

Miinukset: "It's a really, really tight fit in Economy. Super hard on the knees and I'm a short person. It was even hard for my 7 year old to get into semi comfortable position to sleep. On the way over from Chicago to Abu Dhabi, the crew walked by with offers of water regularly and even snacks...we really missed this courtesy on the way back from Abu Dhabi to Chicago. Water was only offered during meals and it was hard to flag down an attendant for water."
Miinukset: "Food was not good and too salty. And the saltiness made everyone thirsty and we were only offered one small cup of water at a time.Flight attendants were not friendly and didn't want to be bothered."

Miinukset: "I had lot of issues wrt handling my baby. No baby food was provided even after asking twice.No tea or coffee served in timely manner. Need to follow up to ask for tea or coffee. I wouldn't suggest this flight to anyone."

Miinukset: "The cart delivering drinks was not capable of providing a simple glass of ordinary water. I waited 20-30 minutes for a small plastic glass to arrive. The effort to sell their expensive bottled water instead was obvious. Not very customer friendly."
Plussat: "Plenty of entertainment in the headrest screen to keep you occupied, including lots of TV, movies, trivia games, and even a chat for travelers on board to connect."
Miinukset: "It’s the old 2-4-2 row setup. Nobody likes being in one of the two middle seats. We booked through AA which meant we couldn’t check-in online on ba.com. We got what was left."

There was a problem with the jetties and so we couldnt get off plane it caused me to miss my connecting flight. Crew not helful in trying to get gate info of my connecting flight nor letting us know if our connecting flight could be held a few minutes to make sure we could get on it"

So spend the night At airport floor with two kids & seven people total in party . No compensation was given at all . BA is the only carrier that charge money to pick up seat assignment in advance more 24 hrs ."

Plussat: "Premium Economy seats LHR-SAN. Comfortable, decent food, nice variety of entertainment. This flight is the best way to get from San Diego to Europe."
Miinukset: "The TV portion of the entertainment system didn't work, but there were enough movies to keep me occupied for the 11 hours of the flight."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."
Miinukset: "We couldn't enter the gate area until about 30 minutes prior. There wasn't anywhere else to wait so eveyrone nded up standing around the gate. Which blocked the hall to the restrooms and ended with a lot of people standing at a store front."
Plussat: "Because of a delay in the first leg of my trip, I missed my connection in London. However, I was placed on the next available flight without much hassle, although I did arrive later than the group I was meeting up with."
