It was a complete disaster. So, the 1:10hrs between Cluj and Istambul is not enough for an US flight. You guys must schedule more time so people can get to the US plane on time. The Airline is amazing, good food, good crew, great sits, but please work on this schedule because it's so exhausting to stay an additional 11 hours on the road."
Plussat: "Flights out of Kabul are generally filled with less-experienced travelers, so Turkish Airlines did the best they could with a planeful of new flyers. Entertainment system had some pretty good choices."
Miinukset: "There's a coronavirus outbreak going on. Just slow down, everyone. Take it easy. Slow down boarding. Slow down disembarking. Enable social distancing. Just slow down. We were packed into economy class, touched by every person walking past, bumped by every bag over every shoulder. Just take it easy. Let passengers try, even a little, to maintain a little social distance in economy class."
Miinukset: "I loved everything about Turkish Airlines. Their food is one of the best! You can eat it all and actually tastes good! The level of individual service, unbiased service, is amazing. The crew is polite, well kept, and dare I say very good looking. All my flights with them departed and arrived as scheduled, always!"

Miinukset: "I don't know if English speaking is a requirement for the crew, but it was difficult to ask questions to the crew in English, even simple questions like "Could I see what the cake looks like to choose my snack?" This didn't really interfere too much with the flight"
Plussat: "Unfortunately they do not use their best aircraft on this route, still good experience and surprisingly good food. On time and perfect service."
Miinukset: "Seats only average as far as comfort and room, and no personal screens for entertainment (unlike the route Athens-Istanbul, which is the same length as this one, Istanbul-Bari)."
Plussat: "I definitely recommend Turkish Airlines because of the services offered and customer service."
Miinukset: "Everything was truly great except for some passengers who felt they could stand in the aisles (and anywhere else they wanted) and lean over people while they were eating as their meals with religious dietary restrictions had already been served. I feel the flight crew could have handled them a little better. Still thought the rest of the service was fantastic."

Miinukset: "The crew just couldn't get it right, half our section didn't get the hot towels before takeoff, the attendant had run out half way down the aisle then forgot to come back. Distribution of food was handled like it was the first time the crew was attempting it in a moving plane. They couldn't get orders right, handing out vegetarian dishes when non-veg dishes were requested. Running out of ice for the drinks."
Miinukset: "I have bought two sides ticket from Turkish Airlines. And i miss my first flight, when i came to airport for return flight Turkish Airlines cancel my return flight whitout update by email or massage by phon!!"

Miinukset: "I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?"
Plussat: "The service from Turkish on the flights was great. The service for rebooking was great, once we got to the front of the line."
Miinukset: "Due to a snowstorm (beyond their control) we had to rebook. We were in line for over seven hours because they did not honor the line and helped whoever walked up to the front. Many people 'cut' in line. It wasn't until someone yelled at them about the problem that they started to honor the line. Unfortunately that was five hours in to the wait!"
Miinukset: "No classical music in the suggested list."
Plussat: "the crew was very nice and helping... everything went like clock :) was excellent... i got to early to the airport but overall it was great flight and i enjoy it the crew was very nice.... also to see the plain chef in the boarding is genius"

Plussat: "I have flown with all big airlines including Lufthansa, BA, Delta, American and others. This flight was by far the best experience I had. They have lovely serving crew so no one actually hesitates to ask or want something. They have helped me and my two toddlers along with 3 other similar families of an incredible amount to make sure they are all comfortable. No wonder that received the best airline of europe award for several years in a row...There was only a 20 minutes delay during take-off and we still arrived home a bit early... Very smooth flight, one that I still cant believe I had with my 2 toddlers. Strongly recommended."
Plussat: "Wide variety of movies."
Miinukset: "Firstly, our daughter's personal TV monitor stopped working about an hour into the flight. We asked for the TV monitor to be fixed on three different occasions and nothing was done about it so we had to share our monitor for the remainder of the 10 hour flight. Secondly, we were the last to be served even we though we were seated in the middle of the plane. When they finally got to us they didn't have anymore of the selection that we wanted so we had to settle for what was left. When we finally got our food it was ice cold! We had to ask for another plate. By this point we were starving and very upset. Overall, our experience wasn't the most ideal."

Miinukset: "At Istanbul the staff in the airport were confused about where the gate was and we missed our flight and then we had to purchase new tickets. And they did not honor our original tickets. That was almost 900 dollars gone because they would not honor our tickets. I am hoping for a refund."

Miinukset: "Food for dinner was good but lunch was not not great. Crew was very unfriendly to especially Turkish passengers. Short answer for questions and no smile at all especially the ones on our side."

Miinukset: "From Istanbul to Karachi turkish used old plane - In business class there is a major difference in seats and all other things as compared to newer planes. On their website at the time of sale they show the newer plane and its business class. SO overall did not felt right due to older style seats- However staff was still very courteous and pleasant"

Miinukset: "We did a preselection for seating at the airline office at the Kempinski in Djibuti for our return flight back to US. Only to find that when boarding on both flights we had been re-assigned and not seated together. We were able to be seated together after boarding was completed."

I was day travel with only a computer bag. AND..they were completely rude about the entire experience. Staff was disgusting. Do not fly on Ryanair. I will never fly this airline again. Terrible."

Miinukset: "20 minutes notice of an 8 hour delay. Zero communication, treated like cattle by ground staff, given a €5 food voucher after literally chasing staff around other boarding gates. €5 is not “reasonable” food expense for this length of delay under EU261. Then sent a reminder to claim from insurance company. No Ryanair - we will be claiming full amount from you, and encouraged other travellers to do the same. Utter amateurs and fraudsters."
Plussat: "The onboard crew was friendly and polite"
Miinukset: "We showed up 3.5 hours early and barely made it onto our flight Check-in was so disorganized that we spent an hour waiting in the wrong line line. We were told on the phone that we did not need a boarding pass but that was a lie. We got sent to multiple wrong lines afterwards before finally getting to the right line. I have flown countless times, had flights delayed and cancelled and this has to be more worst flying experience I have had."
Miinukset: "We did not have internet and computer access during our trip and when we arrived at the airport to check in we were told that there was a high fee for airport checkin. Never in my 30 years of airline travel have i experienced such s redicilous and outragous thing. I paid 196 euros today because we were not able to check in online rven though Ryanaiir had several checkin counters!. This was certainly the last time i flew with Ryanair and I will share this experience with my friends and family."
Miinukset: "Received emails about baggage, the policy stated that any cabin baggage beyond 1 would be checked for FREE in the hold. My wife and I both arrived with a small carry-on bag and a backpack. Upon arrival to Lisbon the attendant told us we needed to pay40euro each for the extra bag because it was slightly bigger than the bag “tester” box. (It fit sideways but not long ways). We showed the email about the free checked bag and she said because it was too big we had to pay 40 euro each. After a while we agreed. She then told us just to go to the gate, it would be ok. At the gate we had the same conversation with a different attendendent, this time it was 50 euro a piece! She said there was nothing she could do and just like that we are out 100 Euro. Do not fly with these Crooks!"
Miinukset: "The airline app did not enable us to download our boarding passes as non-EU citizens and the check-in desk refused to issue paper boarding passes. We had to wait to the last minute at the gate for the agent to write up a boarding pass by hand. Ridiculous."
Plussat: "First off the reviews via Youtube and the web site were scarey but I wished for the best. I packed a small American Tourister bag 14 for my European trip starting in Rome to Paris then on to Amsterdam, as well as packed a book bag. At first I booked non priority but figured I'd add the $7.50 to be safe and be able to take both my bags, plus it got me thru the gate quicker, so I booked PRIORITY and it worked out for me. The space is kind of tight but I was able to fit comfortably in my seat and the flight was abt 2 hrs or so from Rome to Paris. I never reclined my seat because after takeoff I fell promptly asleep. I had a 6:30 am flight. The crew appeared very unbothered n blasé but there were no mishaps and they were attempting to get everyone seated as quickly as possible so we could get on to our destination on time. The landing was a bit off but nothing major just a hard drop, nothing serious. Overall not as bad as the nightmare reviews but nothing to brag about either. Well worth my $60 (American)."

Miinukset: "The flight was 2 and a half hours delayed and the crew did not even mention it, never mind a line of apology. I gave them a chance after 8 years and I regret it. You save with Ryanair, only if your own time is worthless."
Plussat: "Got the best fairs, had it booked well in advance No hassle"
Miinukset: "On arrival all trains were cancelled and it was very hard to find a bus or someone to talk to but that was a separate issue"
Plussat: "We didn't crash and I arrived at my destination safely."
Miinukset: "The flight was 90 mins late, we were herded like cattle onto the plane which was filthy with empty sweet wrappers littering the entirecabin, which in turn was full of crying children (whose parents appeared powerless/unwilling to comfort them). While none of this was helped by the poor weather creating epic turbulence and a near-miss with another aeroplane, I did take a flight the following day with EuroWings in identical weather which was far better controlled with less nausea-inducing turbulence so I do feel I can blame Ryanair for feeling quite sick as we left the plane. If we'd had to go in for a 3rd landing attempt, I'd probably have turned up for my meeting all covered in vomit as they don't even provide sick bags! Ryanair isn't just basic and cheap, they don't even do the basics properly. It's as though they're deliberately trying to make the experience as horrible as possible. Ryanair is dreadful. Never again!"

Miinukset: "We were in the line which went along smoothly until we were just a few people before being served. There was a couple that had issues and the entire line of people including me had to wait in a standstill for 30 minutes. It made me run to my closed gate but did get on. The solution is to have a counter they could have moved to just for big issues rather than hold up 50 people. So sort of plan B for big problem flyers. It was lame. They charged me 160 euros just to print the two boarding passes and 1 20 kilo bag and the man at the counter told me that I should have printed them at home. Not only have I never ever had hat happen to me on any respectable airline but we took Vueling from Mykonos to Rome and they included the bag and they printed the boarding passes for free as all other customer friendly airlines. Never again!! Horrible customer service."
