When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Plane was a little chilly, but I have come to expect that one most flights."
Flight crew was excellent and I appreciated being addressed as "Dear Passenger." Connecting to wifi was difficult/confusing (and a bit pricey, but that's not unique to Icelandair). No free snacks (beverages only). Passengers were seated with plenty of space between us (flight was not full). Very comfortable economy class on the Boeing 767-300s, less so on the 737-MAXs. While my first flight was delayed due to weather, the connection and return flights were on time and even landed early. If you connect at the Keflavik Airport, do buy the Nordic Deli Green Energy Smoothie--so delicious and refreshing!

Miinukset: "Even using a jetway, boarding in Reykjavik is ridiculous, with inadequate seating and lots of standing around in confusing lines. They had four US/Canada flights leaving within 10 minutes, with the gates 10 feet apart and about 600 passengers jammed in four lines running through the concourse."

Miinukset: "We flew out of Newark (EWR), and the flight gate was NOT posted on any of the flight departure boards, there was no Icelandair counter to ask for that information (staff had left, as we arrived there shortly after 1 hour prior to departure, so there was no longer even a sign saying Icelandair on it), there were no Icelandair staff or crew to ask, and each and every airport personnel we asked (such as visitor information and security) either did not know or gave us incorrect information. The gate information was not given on our boarding passes, and even Google did not know the gate number! Although we should have had plenty of time, we ended up having to cut through the security line to make it, and even then we came fairly close to missing the flight. I would be very reluctant to ever use Icelandair again, even though I did like the price for the cost of the flight and the flight itself was fine."
Miinukset: "Plane was at full capacity and at least an hour prior to landing flushing of toilets was no longer possible due to tanks being full. It was a 3 hour flight! Not acceptable!"
Plussat: "You’re going for no frills. Competitive pricing maybe but consider baggage situation first. We went transatlantic and paid for a bag using economy light fare to make it work. Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal. Cabin is ok."
Miinukset: "Witnessed many customers checking in who thought a bag was included. Entertainment is ok but screens have limited kid activities. Each leg of my flight took off 15-20 min late easily. Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain."

The middle seats all have a large box underneath which precludes one from even sliding a small backpack underneath... literally only a few inches of clearance. So if you have a middle seat do not expect to have under seat storage space for anything larger than a small purse."

Very disappointed if i can help it i will not fly with them again. This is the 3 straight year i have so seems like we are being forced to go with them to get a decent flight price."

The seats are the same as first class on domestic US airlines and recline only a little. The airport in Iceland is horrible, completely congested, expect long lines, no priority lanes, missing your flight and nobody cares. I will not be flying this airline again."

Also the entertainment is what you see on TV in the USA, there are no new movies AND the content is the same east and West bound."

The flight was three hours delayed and instead of having us wait to board we waited two hours in the plane before take off. For the future if they know connection flights are delayed they should have us wait outside
8 hour delay and cancellation. Lost baggage no food vouchers no refund no help. Never flying AA again.
Miinukset: "They claim to be cleaning these planes but I find that hard to believe when there is Gum on the window sill. We were also delayed quite a bit in the boarding process. Also I would imagine that during Covid-19 these companies would do a better job of not overbooking flights but all of my flights with American this past weekend were overbooked. Which delayed us even longer as they searched for volunteers to adjust their flights. In today's age of technology the idea that they are still overbooking planes makes no sense to me in the slightest. I will be walking, driving or taking a boat before I fly American Airlines again."

Miinukset: " the "group system" boarding process arranges passengers in an aleatory way making the process totally chaotic. For instance last groups are the last ones to enter the aircraft and don't easily find space for the hand luggage. They have to accommodate bags under the front seat making the already uncomfortable trip more painful. Also this process may delay the departure time.  Food service is terrible. no options, specially for kids or people with food restrictions. Not even the payed ones offer healthy food alternatives.  No comfort at all for a flight that departs little before midnight and arrives at 7 am at its destination. They forgot about the pillows and blankets you find in other airlines.  at the end, when I collected my baggage I realized 1 wheel was missing from one of my suitcases. I informed the airline and 3 days later I receive an email saying that the airline is not responsible for damages that include wheels and other "baggage accessories" I did not rate the flight poor because at least it manages to arrive to its final destination..."
Plussat: "Pilot was very communicative, which was great but plane was 1 hour late and we had a mechanical problem while taxing, pilots fixed it while still on the ground. Not their fault those planes are 35 years old, come on!"

Plussat: "The "very" new 777-200 was very comfortable, well-laid out. I usually skip or leave half of the in-flight food served, but this rates as one of the best meals, I've had in an airplane outside of business class. The in-flight entertainment/information service was decent, but perhaps because the plane was still in new condition."
Miinukset: "On this entire business trip, I booked with other companies, but ended up 5 flights operated by American Airlines. One cancellation, 4 delayed, 3 late arrivals. The last one was the most annoying. I will be avoiding AA in the future. The domestic crews are generally brusque and miserable. The international flight crews were more accommodating and pleasant, but most of them also seemed annoyed at passenger presence. Also, having to pay for a preferred seat on a half-empty airplane is simply unfair. By 24hrs before the flight, AA must have known there were plenty of empty seats."

Every single BA flight I've been on this year has been delayed, sometimes 30mins sometimes 1 hour, there's also been huge delays on the luggage collection at arrivals. It's amazing how they keep blaming everything either on a system fault or on covid.

Miinukset: "The plane was warm which became uncomfortable for the second half of the 9 hour flight. Also they had some issues with double booked seats and having to move people around which delayed takeoff. The staff did a good job of making the best of a bad situation thoug."

Miinukset: "Flight attendants had to serve food/drinks, which they did the entire flight (literally, drink service took 2 hours). People got drunk and super loud. We were late leaving London which isn’t an issue except the people at the BA desk were the least helpful. We found out more from the pilots than anyone in the airport."
Plussat: "There was a good selection of very different movies to watch. I found four that I wanted to see."
Miinukset: "There were not enough chairs in the waiting area. There was a long wait, first, just to get on the plane, then, instead of letting us stay in the waiting area, we were all seated, and left waiting for at least an hour, most of that time without explanation, sitting in a stifling plane at the gate, without being allowed to get up and move around. Also, the ratio of carbohydrates to protein in the main meal was way out of kilter. I don't want rice + potatoes + bread + crackers all in one meal, with zero vegetables. The tiny piece of cheese helped."
Plussat: "On time and comfortable flight."

Miinukset: "We missed our connection and british had booked us automatically on the next available flight which was helpful. However--- we paid to pick our seats and we got stuck in both middle seats. I also got skipped on the first round of beverage service. The entire crew was congregated in the middle part and when they finally made their way back to the cabin for trash I asked the flight attendant if I could please get a beverage as I was skipped. He said yes let me gather this trash and ill be back. He never returned. Then everyone was served their meals and I then was also skipped. Flight crew congregated again in the middle and my sister and I had to wave our hands up in the air to grab anyone's attention so I could get my meal. At that point they were out of the vegetarian option and I got a small oh we didn't mean to skip you comment. Pretty disappointed with this flight."
Plussat: "We waited an hour to board with a wheelchair and were the last on and I had to push. Gate personnel were inattentive and dismissive."
Miinukset: "Food was pretty mediocre"

Miinukset: "A lot of flights park away from the terminal and you board a bus to get to/from the plane. No power outlets at seats."
Miinukset: "When trying to check in online the day prior, the British Airways system was unable to load my reservation. Upon arrival to the airport, the rather unambitious fellow at the check-in desk refused to look up my reservation and instead insisted that my flight was in fact through American Airlines. After waiting in yet another queue, I was sent back to British Airways, where it was confirmed that Iwas booked on the flight, but that it would be to late to check my suitcase. I am still at my city of origin in London as I write this review."
Plussat: "Not much - the entertainment choices were good and the flight was safe and smooth. Plus my bag turned up from Helsinki, Heathrow, Singapore, sydney"
Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"
Plussat: "Nice clean new plane. Courteous cabin personnel"
Miinukset: "Gluten Free meals that I ordered were not available, which is a major problem! Boarding took extra long as Crew wasn't ready yet, flight was an hour late in arriving, making it an exhausting 11.5 hr ordeal. Main issue: raging male passenger who screamed at Crew and other passengers for several hours and in effect held us in fear as very young and entirely female crew had trouble diffusing his anger. Seriously thought we were going to have to make a stop to get this guy removed from the plane. What was he so aggressive about? Not having a cradle for his baby. There were many other passengers w infants and he accosted the crew and the couple that did have the bassinet aggressively over and over again. Horrible."

Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."
Plussat: "Staff is always nice. Food service is generally good and the food tasty."
Miinukset: "Older plane that only upgraded business and first class. Standard class seats and entertainment old and nominally functional. Felt more like a third world country than what I'm used to on BA"
Plussat: "No refreshments were offered."
Miinukset: "My baggage was lost. This is ridiculous."
Miinukset: "Having to pay for a cup of tea!"
Plussat: "The flight to NO was good. Service was good as well."
Miinukset: "The seating was much more cramped than the flight to Ireland. Very tight quarters for a 10 hour flight. Other than that, it was good. We arrived safely and that's the best feeling ever!"
Plussat: "London to New Orleans direct is an excellent route."
Miinukset: "Food was poor."
Plussat: "Boarding was quick and the crew was good. Left and arrived on time."
Miinukset: "If you want decent food in economy, you must pay for it. No outlets or USB outlets to charge devices even though most Boeing 777 for other airlines have them. No games, must be in World Travellers Plus. With four classes on a flight, economy or World Traveller just feels neglected. No wifi. Maybe this is just the service for LHR-IAH."
Plussat: "The flight attendants on this flight where the best I've ever had!"
Plussat: "Flight attendants were great; very attentive to passengers' needs."
Miinukset: "Passengers were hanging out by exit door with no regard to rules and were not giving any warnings-this made other passengers anxious. My seat was broken so I could not recline when the passenger in front of me fully reclined. Very unfortunate!"
Miinukset: "Transferring from one flight to another, from one terminal to another. Definately, too litte time for transfer. Rushing, with no time to stop at the restroom."

Miinukset: "When the ticket was issued it never said anything about who the subsidiary operating airline is. That caused so much confusion that I missed my flight despite of arriving at the airport almost 3 hours before departure. Then on my way back I asked for a tissue she threw one on the table with a snarl and said they are in the bathroom. Then the plane was standing still in the tarmac for good 10 minutes and I needed a tissue again - the same stewardess was extremely rude in telling me to go back to my seat - I advised her to be calm and speak appropriately. I was only trying to get the tissue paper from the toilet."
Little mask wearing and no enforcement/reminders by crew. Also, it was extremely hot.

Plussat: "What mede this trip so poor was that the agent at the desk informed me that as I was boarding the plane my carry on suitcase had to be checked due to limited space in the overhead bins. This is the same carry on that I have stored in overheads on literally over 100 flights including a United flight 4 days earlier. I was the approximately the fith passenger to board in group 3 and after I let her check my bag I walked on to the plane to see not only was it only one quarter full of passengers, most of the overhead bins were completely empty. So I had to go to baggage claim to get my checked bag after we landed which took almost 40 minutes. Very frustrating!"

Miinukset: "Two and a half hour delay leaving EWR because aircraft was late from prior destination. UAL said FAA limited flights coming in due to weather. Although scattered light rain, no seemingly unusual weather at EWR. No special reward once on the flight to make up for that delay (I.e. still charged for snacks and alcoholic drinks). Delay was very frustrating. Also, not a fan of selections on United WiFi entertainment - very limited."

Miinukset: "The plane was hot. The pilot forced a landing quickly to be on time, instead of taking his time through rough winds. The plane was very turbulent and the landing was extremely rough. I actually pulled out the "puke bag" and almost needed it."

Plussat: "Very nice employees. The trip was good. Unfortunately, the plane was delayed for a fueling off load for 45 minutes but it all worked out just fine."

Miinukset: "I chose to fly Southwest on the way back and for less money I received better service. If you find a reasonably priced flight you don't have to worry about paying extra for baggage or stomach during the flight. On the flight home, I realized that they have bigger seats, your bags ( 1 personal, 1 carry-on, and 2 checked bags) are "free" and they give you a little snack to hold you for maybe and hour. Overall I prefer Southwest because of all the benefits you get while flying with them but it doesn't mean I will never fly United again."

Miinukset: "Basic economy not aloud a carry on bag. Charged for a checked bag. The TV programming was an extra charge as well as the drinks."
Miinukset: "I was informed at check in that I could not bring a carry on bag. Therefore, I had to pay to check my bag. However, all other passengers on the plane brought carry on bags. Then, upon arrival in New Orleans, my bag failed to arrive. My bag was still in Chicago."
Miinukset: "Issues with crew delayed the flight. I was further delayed getting to my destination because they forced me to check my bag."
Miinukset: "Being wedged in the middle seat after two overseas flights and seeing stand-by passengers in isle and window seats in rows ahead of mine... no, I did not appreciate that. In other words, UA is accomodating stand-by passengers before accomodating customers who have purchased tickets. Try sitting in a middle seat after two overseas flights... especially as a tall person with no knee space and a super-uncomfortable seat with the headcushion area reaching only your neck. Those seats were clearly made for folks under 5'8"-5'9"."

Miinukset: "After I booked my round trip flight to Denver from New Orleans I discovered that my mom had surgery to remove her breast cancer on the day I was originally supposed to depart. I called to see if there was anything I could do to change my flight to the next day and received no help what so ever. They said it would cost $200 just from the start. I couldn't afford that, so I just bought a cheaper one way ticket for the next day, not knowing that if I didn't catch my first flight that my return flight would also be cancelled. When I called to see if I still had my return flight I was told no and one again told it would cost $200 to do anything about it. So in the end, I'm stuck in Denver and bought a round trip ticket for absolutely no reason."
Miinukset: "I have arthritis (walk with a cane) and didn't have enough leg room....hated being in a middle seat....and due to that could not stand in flight to stretch legs. Also the crew on the way to New York made sure I had a wheelchair to cross the airport in Chicago and not so in New Orleans...had to make a visit to the emergency room after getting home and be off work for 5 days due to the condition of my leg after the walk across the airport."

Miinukset: "I was forced to check my carry on because others were allowed to bring several carry one bags I counted 18 passengers that were allowed to bring 3 carry one bags & a personal item to store under the seat so if you are in the 3rd, 4th or 5tn boarding group there isn't any overhead storage available I paid to check check my other luggage so I would follow the rules others should be made to do the same I worried all the way to New Orleans that my carry would be lost"

Miinukset: "Really sad that you have to pay extra money to watch the monitors on the back of the headrest for a 2.5 trip. That's crappy. And then there is a point when you're out of the Directv Range. We're paying more for flights and then they have flight waitresses trying to monetize the time you're in the air. And when I was checking in in Berlin this guy was asking me a ton of questions, but didn't ask the next 5 people any questions. When I stared at him he started asking others questions. It's really none of your business why I'm going somewhere or what I'm doing. These terrorist attacks are giving people authority they have no business having."
Plussat: "The United Airline staff was very helpful. Our evening flight from another airline was cancelled and we booked the next available United flight departing early the following morning. Recommendations from the staff made our unplanned stay much more comfortable. It was greatly appreciated."
