You have to pick up the baggage and ride the train across town to the other station. Whoever made this itinerary should be really fired and no longer work at this company. You still get 3 pcs of luggage and pay business class price! Never JAL again domestic, maybe international or Never ever!"
Plussat: "The fact that everything is included with the flight makes it very easy to fly with JAL. The staff was friendly and helpful when I was checking in. The agent tried her best to get me a window or aisle seat but was unable to. That didn't matter though. Airlines in the US should learn from them and treat their customers the same way."

Next time we'll try HNL-SAI entry to Nam. The Boeing 787 was a great ride to/from Ha Noi, particularly with JAL service."

Miinukset: "Aside from having to take the red-eye, the seats for our return flight were the most cramped I've ever been. My 6' husband's knees were touching the seat in front of him, and the seats were super narrow. I can't remember being so cramped in my entire life. That's really my biggest complaint, but when the flight is 6 1/2 hours, being cramped gets old really quick."

Miinukset: "The food for our return flight from haneda to Honolulu was definitely subpar compared to the food we had on our first jal Honolulu to Hong Kong flight (layover in narita). Also the plane was not as big and older so we didn't have the touch screen. We were quite impressed on our Honolulu to Hong Kong flight, then were a little let down on our haneda to Honolulu flight."

Given totally incorrect information about luggage retrieval in Chicago. Not required! Waited 45 minutes for luggage that was not there and was supposed to be headed to Houston but did not arrive there either. Still waiting..."

The crew themselves remarked that the type of plane used for this flight was inappropriate."

According to rull must keep it under seat, but crew don't say anything I was very very surprised. it's very Dangerous to everybody people may hurt , i was very Scared and nervous. 3. in the dark room passenger can't see or feels that behind them whether crew come or not (passing by or not) Crew passing by and hit passenger but without saying sorry and just go a way. it's impossible... 4. i was standing at Exit door and look at the outside but same time crew came and said to me not friendly and without smile "Excuse me" and i go a way, i saw she crew want to put something inside at dress room. what i want to say the crew could be more nice and smiley face to passenger or could be nice can be wait 5 seconds but was really the way of tone is Racist, this is what i felt, really bad."

Miinukset: "This airline charges for everything, and after you pay once, they try to charge you again, and again, and again (four different people tried to charge me 4 different times for my two checked bags). And they lost the record of my payment, so I had to show 4 times the Amex receipt showing that I had paid before. It took 45 minutes and 4 non receptive agents for me to get my luggage checked. British Airways is significantly better."

Miinukset: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."
Plussat: "That we were heading home. Nice seats. Good food. Lots of entertainment choices. Power plugs ( USB and European power) were appreciated. Wine as a choice with meal was appreciated and brandy after the meal."

I was in the middle seat next to an inattentive octanegarian who was nice but kept calling the flight crew to fix her mess up of the video system. No air controls on this plane - so it was overly warm. 10 hours of overly warm makes for a stinky passenger. Oof."

Miinukset: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"

Miinukset: "Disorganized uninformed staff. One says I have to have an additional "random" security check after going through the same thing in security. Turns out it wasn't random and I didn't need it. Both times they read my boarding pass wrong thought I was going to Tel Aviv - not random. Airport was hot as hell! Flight kept getting delayed then we had a gate change as well. Finally got on the plane and it took forever to take off so we were basically sitting in a sauna for 30+ minutes."

Miinukset: "Bording far away, got my cabin luggage and everyone elses into the cellar because ¨it didn´t fit in the plane¨. There was plenty of room, I had breakable stuff in my luggage, didn´t get the chance to choose. No entertainment AT ALL. Confort: no leg space at all. Not an AirFrance plane, subcontracted. Lousy food."
Miinukset: "Wheel chairs for my ill and aged parents was not provided"

Plussat: "I didn't feel cramped in a Window Seat. Two meals were served during the flight. It was nice to get back to being fed something other than skippy snacks on an airline flight."
Miinukset: "I was ignored over and over again as ice cream, drinks and snacks were offer by the crew. It would have been nice if some would ask me before falling asleep if I wanted to be roused for snacks and desserts. After being on back to back flights of more than 10 hours each it would be considerate for the crew to be aware of my length of travel and to make sure they don't assume my resting my eyes is the same as me being asleep. Even when I was awake it appeared I was being overlooked, ignored and left out of complimentary services I saw other receiving....my bad for not asking to be noticed."
Crew needs to treat passengers better, kinder.
The flight was three hours delayed and instead of having us wait to board we waited two hours in the plane before take off. For the future if they know connection flights are delayed they should have us wait outside

Plussat: "Seats were okay, even with an upgrade, still tight and I'm only 5'3". Drinks and snacks were served so plan ahead for food to Hawaii. Otherwise, I feel like there staff was great and doing their best to make everyone safe and respected."

As often happens with American First Class staff, they did the requirements in the same way service is better at chipotle than Taco Bell. Interior plane noise was very loud. Must be the last year on lease"

Miinukset: "Wish bathroom had been cleaned more frequently. Ran out of toilet paper a few times and floor was wet. My seat was broken so I could not recline back for 17 hours and since the flight was fully booked I was unable to move seats. It made the already long flight even more uncomfortable"

Miinukset: "I am handicapped and there was no attendance at the gate once I arrive in Honolulu, no wheelchair assist to help me to the baggage terminal."

Miinukset: "No signage for checking bags. Was total cluster. No one knew where to take bags or what line to be in. Employees kept telling us we were in the wrong line but didn’t seem to tell us what was the correctly line."
Miinukset: "Air conditioning seemed to be inoperative. I asked the flight attendant and they said they couldn’t do anything about it. When it’s a 12+ hour flight that’s a problem"

Miinukset: "The flight crew kept going onto the intercom for no reason. Every ten minutes or so someone would get on just to hold the button and let go or say enjoy your flight. Also, there was no food and didn't ask for anyone to board before zone 1, including us service members"

Miinukset: "on a 7 hour flight over the pacific ocean and you dont provide a meal? you fly from egypt to germany, a 3 hour flight and you get a meal, so what's your excuse?"
Plussat: "Liked that the restroom was near by (9E). Liked that there was the option of watching a movie."
Miinukset: "Didn't care for the choice of shows/movie on monitors. I paid for an upgrade for row 9 - and was unfortunately seated next to a very large man, which meant that there was no escaping the fact that our arms or legs touched. Obviously an older plane, because there were no outlets (again, paid for upgraded seats). Previous flight was WAY better and I was in the regular seat."

Plussat: "One African American young lady was not nice. Never smiled. Never said hello. Everyone elsewhere excellent."
Miinukset: "Very cheap on the snacks and beverages for a 5 hour trip. Boarding was out of order and slow getting both on and off."
Plussat: "Great crew today. As I was walking to the gate, one of the flight attendants that would be working this flight advised someone that was hurrying through the airport that they dropped something. While others may not have noticed or said something, she went out of her way to make sure the item got to its owner. It is little things like this that make life a little better."
Miinukset: "The thirty minute wait for luggage (which sometimes is quick for American at DFW)."
Plussat: "Missed a previous connecting flight due to delays, but staff was able to get me on a next flight out, two hours later."
Plussat: "It was empty and there was a lot of room. It was nice and quiet. They still served snacks and drinks. Can't complain!"
Miinukset: "Apparently Finnair leases a Hilly plane and crew for this flight right now, so it wasn't quite the same."

Plussat: "We took the offer of putting cabin baggage in hold. Some of those that retained theirs had "oversized" bags that should have been taken from them at the steps of the plane. As this did not happen there were a lot of problems including the problem of opening the lockers"
Miinukset: "Stricter control on cabin bags. The result was that our bags were already on the belt when we got to customs area"

Miinukset: "This is basically a southwest plain with a curtain to separate classes. No entertainment, no first class seats, no WiFi. Just a seat between us. No legroom. Y’all should be ashamed to call that first class. Waste of $"

Miinukset: "I missed my flight because of an issue with airplane coming from lax to london. All i got was a 5 euro voucher. And i was meeting someone at madrid airport and neither of us had any way of getting in cotact with each other. It was a freaking nightmare."

Plussat: "The crew were the epitome of professionalism, deftly dealing with the the predictable problems that come with a fully-booked flight on an elderly aircraft. I almost never complete these customer surveys, but on this occasion I felt obliged to make a statement in support of the cabin crew, who were amongst the best I've encountered in nearly four decades of air travel."

Miinukset: "The biz class seats on BA are just horrible. The biz class service - BA aren’t even trying to match other airlines. A stingy snenities kit and a blanket doesn’t come close to qantas or emerites. The food is an embarrassment - microwave dinners over heated is a a generous description. Crew do as little as possible (they don’t want to be they’ve either)"

Miinukset: "My first leg flight was delayed and I booked through kayak on two different airlines and the first airline did not communicate with the second airline so 5 passengers ran to make the change and arrived 1 min after the jetbridge to get on the plane was pulled away. It was incredible frustrating and could have very easily been avoided with communication from the airlines"
Plussat: "The air plane ran out of fuel we had to divert to San Jose we waited two hours because of weather and because the paperwork had the wrong pilots name so they wouldn't let the plane fly. Therefore we waited in the airport all night because neither British airways or American Airlines would help us We waited here all night with no sleep no one would give us a hotel or a meal we have now will be getting into London 24 hours later than planned and we will be out about $1000 in hotels in two hours we had booked that were non-cancelable . Multiple phone calls to British airline Waze and to American Airlines for all of the helpful"
Miinukset: "The woman who worked the British Airways desk in Helsinki and checked our bags is not suited for a customer service position. The screens on the British Airways long haul planes are tiny and difficult to operate. A 2,5 h flight where you can't even get water complimentary is appalling. Honestly all of your competitors offer a snack and beverages complimentary even if the flight is only 45 min. The boarding for London to Dallas flight was very confusing and could have been made easier with grouping the boarding instead of tons of people piling up to rush in at once."

Miinukset: "Soft drinks, bottled water, and a snack were not included free of charge on this flight. My fellow traveler asked for some tap water since she didn't want to purchased bottled water, but the flight attendant forgot to bring the water."

Plussat: "Fortunately, BA got us on another flight--so our vacation plans weren't totally ruined!"
Miinukset: "Unfortunately we didn't receive notification that the originally scheduled flight no longer existed. We had paid a higher price to use the regional airport. When attempting to check-in online, there was no flight. The new flight involved a 2 hour drive to a different and added 2 weeks of parking charges that we wouldn't have otherwise had."
Miinukset: "List luggage for 4 days"
Plussat: "This was maybe a regional carrier, the flight was a bit more mundane compared to the wide-body crossing the Atlantic, however, there was nothing to really complain about. Boarding was a bit of a madhouse, but in the end not too eventful."
Miinukset: "Huge disappointment - food was inedible and on our connection we had to pay even for water. Huge drop in service and I've flown BA for years."
Miinukset: "Overcharged for baggage as the BA online baggage payment system was not working."
Plussat: "Checked in online and very quick bag drop at MCO."
Miinukset: "Awful food both for dinner and breakfast. Choice of chicken curry or cheese and tomato pasta but had already run out of chicken by the time we were served. Menu doesn't seem to change from one year to the next.Bread bun like a rock, salad uninspiring. Breakfast equally disappointing with a dry bagel and a couple of breakfast bars."
Plussat: "Travelled in business class so priority boarding was good Well planned boarding by different seat sections Crew attentive when needed but not intrusive"
Miinukset: "Food selection not great Video screen brightness not working on my screen and so very difficult to watch movies"

Plussat: "Great airplane - huge Airbus with excellent entertainment center for each seat. My kids loved the fact the plane had two levels - even though we didn't see the upstairs first class."
