Plussat: "Typical JAL, nearly everything was fantastic."
Miinukset: "I don't think it could be made better but legroom on this flight was cramped. Certain planes in the JAL fleet have really cramped legroom and uncomfortable seats."

Miinukset: "Some crazy flight itinerary they should not sell at all! At first I thought layover was same location only to find out it was another airport across of time. Flew into ITM and flew out KIX and boarding ticket it says only OSAKA so I didnt know. I barely made the flight....if they had accommodate the transportation I would understand. But they tell you, you have to make it there on your own. Another CRAZY information is that I thought at the very least the baggage will be transferred. But nope! You have to pick up the baggage and ride the train across town to the other station. Whoever made this itinerary should be really fired and no longer work at this company. You take a great airline and make the experience so bad."

Plussat: "We were coming back from treking in Nortwest Viet Nam. JAL upgraded us to business class (ie, sleeper bed) for the Ha Noi to Tokyo, and gave us good seats on to HNL. FOOD was the best. Next time we'll try HNL-SAI entry to Nam. The Boeing 787 was a great ride to/from Ha Noi, particularly with JAL service."

Plussat: "Our flight TO Tokyo from Honolulu was wonderful! Our seats were spacious, the plane wasn't filled to capacity, the in-flight entertainment was the best I've ever seen, the food was amazing. On our flight BACK, the crew was still wonderful, and the boarding process is quick and efficient."
Miinukset: "Aside from having to take the red-eye, the seats for our return flight were the most cramped I've ever been. My 6' husband's knees were touching the seat in front of him, and the seats were super narrow. I can't remember being so cramped in my entire life. That's really my biggest complaint, but when the flight is 6 1/2 hours, being cramped gets old really quick."

Plussat: "Plenty of leg room, which as a tall person I truly appreciate. They give you slippers, blanket, pillow on every (international?) flight. I flew Korea to Japan and Japan to Hawaii. Got free meals on all flights, even my short two hr flight between Korea and Japan. Free booze too!"
Miinukset: "Small overhead bin. Not deep enough, I had to turn my suitcase sideways. Luckily there was no one in our middle seat or I'm not sure where they would've put their baggage."

Plussat: "The best airline I have flown in. Plenty of room and the in-flight service was excellent."

The house slippers were a nice touch and we really enjoyed the large movie selection. The miso soup with meals was great! Overall really enjoyed our flying experience with jal and would fly with them again."
Miinukset: "The food for our return flight from haneda to Honolulu was definitely subpar compared to the food we had on our first jal Honolulu to Hong Kong flight (layover in narita). Also the plane was not as big and older so we didn't have the touch screen. We were quite impressed on our Honolulu to Hong Kong flight, then were a little let down on our haneda to Honolulu flight."

Plussat: "Long flight, not so full, yet the crew was busy. Some green/trainee types waking us up to bring seat forward while serving meal to passengers on the rear row !! One said we dont serve wine with lunch - really! She did bring the wine 30 minutes later. But they were nice overall. Kept it clean. A+."

Miinukset: "I had a carry on plus a laptop bag. On the website they say you are allowed to carry a personal item such as handbag or a laptop bag along with the carry on piece. This guy at Nagpur airport says the weight of both these combined should be under 15 lbs. are you kidding me?"

Plussat: "The crew was very helpful and fast, at the gate of flight from Doha to Tbilisi they greeted and thanked me in Georgian, which was very nice of them. The seats were comfortable and the entertainement was good during almost ten hour flight from Manila to Doha."
Miinukset: "The food during the flight from Manila to Doha was poor. Last year I flew from Doha to Singapore in January and the year before that from Doha to Colombo, the food on both of the latter flights was very good. The food during flight from ManilaManila to Doha was poor."

Miinukset: "They could have given me an other flight so that I could attend the wedding I was going for. I gotta flight after 12 hours and 10 hours lay-off in Doha. Even if I didn’t get that long layover, I could have been able to attend the wedding."

Miinukset: "Unfortunately, the plane was late, prompting me to miss my connecting flight. These things happen, I understand, but most upsetting was the fact that Qatar Airways provided very little information to those of us missing our flights. While on the plane, when those of us with short layovers mentioned that we may be late, we were told "you'll be fine - they hold the planes for a bit." When we deboarded the plane from New York, we ere wrangled into groups depending on our destinations. Many of us assumed that we were going to be taken to our next flights as we had been told they would be waiting for us. The airline rep in charge of my group refused to tell us any information, however, only admitting after we got confrontational with her that we had missed our flights. She then offered no information about what would happen to us, telling us we'd find out when we got to the rebooking counter. Very unprofessional. I was told that I would have to wait for another 24 hours for the next flight, necessitating that I would spend the night in Qatar. I was put up in a hotel that was decent, but again that offered very little in terms of customer service. We were given an $80 meal allowance, but despite me not using it, I was nickeled and dimed in other aspects to where I ended up paying $20 to help reschedule a flight that I had missed in my destination country. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and mostly due to poor communication and very cold, almost robotic interactions with the QA staff on the ground in Doha."

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Plussat: "Upgrade to 1st Class. Very grateful for the experience. Outstanding service. Very professional crew. Awesome recliner seats. What's not to like about premium service?"

Miinukset: "The woman behind me wouldn't allow me to put my seat back. My comfortability was off because she didn't want her TV screen close to her face. I didn't want to make a big deal. Other than that I love Qatar airlines."

Plussat: "Stewardesses were more helpful on this flight than we had experienced on the previous flights. However their resources were limited. landed safely."
Miinukset: "Food on the four different flights (from DFW to Doha on to Cape Town and then from Johannesburg to Doha on to DWF) was not good at all. Timing of meals, food all below expected. One flight attendant trying to serve both meal and drink to each person took a lot of time. Snacks offerings were almost non-existent. Those of us traveling on three connecting flights with no time to purchase food nor water had a rough time of it. Would not fly Qatar nor connect in Doha again unless absolutely necessary."

Miinukset: "Kayak/priceline re-booked my flight for my sister and I from SAA to BA, but failed to completely reissue us tickets. When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."

Miinukset: "I had to ask for wine to 3 different hostess's"

Miinukset: "Food is not up to the standard. They make announcements that there will be snacks like sandwiches and ice creams, but they don't offer that openly. You have to ask for snacks. Now we, US citizens don't like to ask for food just so you know. The crew should offer. if we don't need the food, we can always say no."

Miinukset: "Cramped seating on long flight. Headrest not adjustable."

Plussat: "Everything"

Miinukset: "The luggage management system was terrible. We had to wait 2 extra hours for a single carry-on that we had to check in before our 15 hour flight. After a 24 hour journey, it is really inconsiderate to add extra hours to the journey. For luggage, I would give a 1, very poor rating for Qatar Air."

Miinukset: "That I had to deal with some rude local officers at the airport, one of them was Qatar airline employee, 3 were security and immigration staff. They ruined my trip with thier rudeness."

Miinukset: "When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry."

Miinukset: "At the check in they made me pay 50€ for my luggage. This is really upsetting because from Houston to Venice they didn't make me pay. Either the website wasn't transparent or the lady at the desk made a mistake. Very upsetting, one luggage should be included."

Miinukset: "KLM can't seem to figure out the order of boarding the plane. Should be business - priority - everyone else. Instead they do priority first, and that's usually two-thirds of the passengers. Also, really tired of the fake business class on these flights..."

Miinukset: "Everything! The crew was rude, no entertainment whatsoever, late boarding, late departure and bad experience with the check in process both in app and on website."

Plussat: "Flight unpleasant. Ground staff in Marseiile great but gate crew didn't control carry on baggage and many of us could not use overhead bins because of passengers who stowed more than one and often oversized suitcases above, so we and many others had to place carry on suitcases under seat. Attendant on plane totally unhelpful and could have rearranged a few bags to make room but preferred to stay in back of plane and talk. To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

So it's one thing that you have to cancel the flight because of fog; but rebooking us the next day on a flight through New York that doesn't exist, was way below the standard of care I would expect from any airline. Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

The airplane seems to be 30 years behind time. Crew was unfriendly and smiling faces are not part of the uniform."

Miinukset: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."

Plussat: "SFO - CDG (Air France) was a great journey in all respects. But the one major reason for that was, the middle seat was empty. I was so fresh after the journey, would definitely recommend this flight to anyone."

Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Miinukset: "We were transported to the plane which was quite some distance to the plane via bus after climbing down steep stairs from the departure gate area. Then we had to climb steep steps in extremely hot weather. We were then delayed for a hour in the plane in very hot conditions as the plane had its air conditioning off and the ground air conditioning was not put on. We were swearing in the heat for an hour!! We arrived at our destination and hour and half late!!"

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

Miinukset: "My luggage was left behind - this despite my being lifetme platinum."

Miinukset: "Plane was canceled at the last minute with a transfer desk literally assaulted by 100s of people. Only 3 persons on the desk. No lane for sky priority. Queued for nearly two hours before some airport employee gave us instructions to travel by train without any other information or tickets etc. Had to buy my ticket. Couldn’t recuperate my suitcase. Had to wait for it the next day for three hours. Up to this hour I don’t know how I am going to be reimbursed (train and plane)."

But when we tried to sleep, our fellow passengers came and stood at our feet and talked so loudly that we could not possibly sleep. They stayed there for more than an hour. Would have loved for the staff to maybe ask them to tone it down, if not move."

Miinukset: "I’m still hungry and incredibly tired. Nobody buys their main cabin extra product, so there’s many empty seats. Ripe for the families that don’t want to pay extra to sit together. Those families bring kids, screaming kids to a section filled with higher fare paying customers. The FA in my section had such big hips, that she knocked my shoulder EVERYTIME she walked by. Not only that, everytime she did the courtesy reach over to grab empty cups from the middle seat, she hit me with her trash bag. Woulda been fine had I been awake, but I was trying to sleep in between the bouts of screaming from the devil possessed kids."

Miinukset: "I was forced to check a bag in when I had flown previously the week before with the same carry on. $50 spent for nothing in my opinion. Per the supervisor over head bin size does not change yet my bag was "too big" like I said I had flown literally 4 days before this trip and had no problems with my bag fitting nor did any of the flight attendants say anything. I am just annoyed. Also I didn't know that I would fly American as it's through Alaska originally, maybe that was my lack of attention to detail. The carry on situation is what irritated me the most. This is also not the first time that I've had a problem with American Air."

Miinukset: "on a 7 hour flight over the pacific ocean and you dont provide a meal? you fly from egypt to germany, a 3 hour flight and you get a meal, so what's your excuse?"

Plussat: "Liked that the restroom was near by (9E). Liked that there was the option of watching a movie."
Miinukset: "Didn't care for the choice of shows/movie on monitors. I paid for an upgrade for row 9 - and was unfortunately seated next to a very large man, which meant that there was no escaping the fact that our arms or legs touched. Obviously an older plane, because there were no outlets (again, paid for upgraded seats). Previous flight was WAY better and I was in the regular seat."

Miinukset: "I don't understand advertising an outlet at every seat and not providing converters from the European outlets on an American domestic flight."

Miinukset: "Check in through website was confusing to do. Flight shows on alaska airlines sight as a united flight. I downloaded the united app, and it tells me my flight is not just through american airlines, but through another carrier, american freedom or aomething like that. Very confusing. I called someone, I think american airlines, by this time completely confused. If there are multiple carrier types, I should be able to input my flight number and my info ahould come up for me to view flight info and check in, or seat assignment. In the end I dowloaded 2 or 3 apps, a confusing phone call, and when i got to rhw intial check in I was not treated well by tsa personnel. Maybe my name triggered thw extra search or something.Anyway, that last part is unrelated but my return flight was kind of a struggle."

Plussat: "Missed a previous connecting flight due to delays, but staff was able to get me on a next flight out, two hours later."

Plussat: "It was empty and there was a lot of room. It was nice and quiet. They still served snacks and drinks. Can't complain!"

Miinukset: "Boarding started almost an hour late but the status never went to delayed (they just said it was on time but kept pushing the boarding time back). Arrived in CLT with only 20 min before the next flight departure."
