Miinukset: "Business class seats not very long if you are tall. Western meal option is not really very western. Crew is a little too efficient- got woken up 90 minutes before landing to clear the mattresses. Lots of announcements- a bit too much. On time, and quick to respond to requests. Sake was good as was the ramen."

Miinukset: "The cabin area was extremely warm; at one point, I had to take out the safety card and fan myself. There was no explanation why the approximately 5-hour flight was uncomfortably warm. During the flight, I woke up from a sound sleep because of the heat in the cabin."

Miinukset: "I purchased a flight through one of the participating vendors on kayak for a major airline and accidentally chose the wrong departure date. I never received a confirmation email and therefore missed the flight. I understand and take full responsibility for booking the wrong departure date but when I tried to change it after missing the flight I was told that the airline policy was to charge a $300 change fee plus $30 for the third-party vendor. Because this was booked as a round-trip this vendor was attempting to charge me $330 plus the full price purchase of a new ticket as the "change fee". For some reason I was unable to explain to the person on the phone that it made no sense for me to pay full price for a ticket plus give that vendor an extra $330. I was forced to eat the entire round-trip ticket and of course save $330 by just hanging up and booking a new flight. I have course book a new flight directly with the airline. I could not even fly standby on the next flight with the airline because they told me they were unable to assist me in anyway because I booked through a third-party vendor. There were plenty of seats available on the next flight and I would've been able to fly standby had I purchased directly from the airline. Never again"

Free WiFi worked surprisingly well - I was able to make a video call to my family. The plane was clean and tidy . Not really much more to say as it was a very short flight."

Altogether we we had a 14-hour day or so of flying with two small children and it could have easily been a 20-hour-or-more day of flying had Japan Airlines not been so great at what they do. We can't say enough about how amazed and blessed we were by their customer service."
Miinukset: "Having to pay for wifi and not having access to power outlets. Everything else was amazing and honestly these minor things were very forgivable given the great entertainment choices that came along with the plan ride and and the amazing customer service."

Miinukset: "Singapore Airlines business class lounge in Melbourne was less than impressive and the food was atrocious. Lounge in Singapore was large but still overcrowded. Amenities much better and the food was plentiful and interesting."

Miinukset: "J class seat, 12A window. Top of my seat curled around my sides, which blocked vision thru 1.5 of the 3 windows I had access to. The enclosure also protuded into my left bicep when I had my elbow resting on the arm rest. Table on my right hand side was too close to my body, and to high to reach a drink easily, I literally had to lift my whole right arm to pick up a glass."

It's so much better than any other airline but very abundant and I feel bad when I only eat a small portion of the items on each tray. Otherwise great crew, plane, boarding, etc."

Plussat: "Best coach experience I have had. Good airplane food. Gracious service. Tail wind made us early which was a good thing because LAX is such a mess and it would have been difficult to make our connection with the long bus ride and 2.5 mile walk to the Alaska terminal."

Plussat: "Qatar Airways are still flying, in the midst of Coronavirus, unlike their competitors. This is fantastic! Onboard, there was a full service and excellent crew, all through the night, unlike their competitors during the early days of Coronavirus, when I last flew. Thank you. Qatar Airways"

Miinukset: "I bought my seat assignment in advance, and they did not give me this seat on the plane. Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window."

Miinukset: "Firstly If the meals we pre booked were actually given to us. Secondly what’s the point of giving menus to coustomer to choose their meal when food availability is limited. Don’t set false expectations to your customer when you can’t deliver on them."

Plussat: "I really like the Qatar flight from Auckland to Manchester. But beware now that the Akl leg leaves 1 hour later the transit in Doha is officially 1.15hr. But since the first leg is always getting in and you have to bus to the terminal, transit time is about 30 mins. Although they are efficient and i made it this time, i wouldn't want to do this with kids."

Miinukset: "however there was no internet and bad entertainment. You couldnt really navigate on Oryx One and it was hard to select the autoplay or map. There was no remote unlike the B787 between MAN and DOH. Pre-download things on laptops, tablets, phones or whatever ifyou are not going to sleep on the flight. It also took 3 hours because of UAE and Qatar :("

Plussat: "Excellent service from check in to disembarkation. I was surprised at the amount of leg room, as being a 6+ footer it has always previously been an issue, but not with Qatar."
Miinukset: "Only downside was the lack of the free traveller pack, eye shade and ear plugs, sleep was denied as I could not block out the sound of the very talkative travellers behind me."

Miinukset: "I missed my flight from Nairobi to Melbourne then the airlines asked for penalties and fare difference which in total was much higher than booking a fresh one way flight. I felt that the crew at Nairobi airport handled the situation pretty well however, the staff at the Nairobi reservation office were a bit cold and not very helpful."

Miinukset: "The new diagonal seats are good, except when trying to put my feet up. The raised foot area is very cramped, and for me sleeping wasn't possible. I left my feet on the floor."

Miinukset: "The leg room on this flight felt less generous than other carrier and the food was poor almost inedible. The aircraft (777) seemed much noiser than other aircraft I have flown on and the noise from the toilet flush could be heard 10 rows away"

Miinukset: "I’m thin but 177cm tall (long legs) so the seats were wide but leg room was uncomfortable for me. Also, the posture of the seats are not good for spinal or neck alignment so, again not comfortable. No support for the lower back and very limited reclinablity."

They proceeded to check us in on their computer and insisted that we use their paperwork, not mine. What a farce. What a waste of paper and my time."

Plussat: "I am frequent air traveler that logs about 100k miles a year and this is the first time I felt like writing a review about an airline. I traveled with my 4 year old son on this trip. Excellent service, high quality food options and flight amenities. I really enjoyed the food as did my son. My son left his backpack behind on the first leg and the airline staff retreived it and delivered it to the lounge in less than 15 minutes. I was astounded and had almost given up on seeing the bag again, given my experience with other airlines in the past. This is going to be airline of choice for future trips!"

Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."

Miinukset: "Information on KLM website and flight status said 50 minutes delay and was never updated with the true status. 3 hours before we took off. KLM blamed the fog at Manchester but to be honest most other flights seemed unaffected. Put up in an IBIS hotel and fed substandard food and shitty hotel room with an Aircon unit that clunks into action every 30 seconds keeping me awake. It's external so I can't switch it off. Being given a 10 Euro voucher for food at the airport when most food and a drink will cost you 12 to 15 euros."

Miinukset: "Pet was left behind at vacation destination as pet's reservation (made and confirmed through KLM) was not found at check in. Waiting for Customer Care to help get pet home and take responsibility for situation and getting no response. Very dissapointed, considering law suit."
