Miinukset: "I purchased a flight through one of the participating vendors on kayak for a major airline and accidentally chose the wrong departure date. I never received a confirmation email and therefore missed the flight. I understand and take full responsibility for booking the wrong departure date but when I tried to change it after missing the flight I was told that the airline policy was to charge a $300 change fee plus $30 for the third-party vendor. Because this was booked as a round-trip this vendor was attempting to charge me $330 plus the full price purchase of a new ticket as the "change fee". For some reason I was unable to explain to the person on the phone that it made no sense for me to pay full price for a ticket plus give that vendor an extra $330. I was forced to eat the entire round-trip ticket and of course save $330 by just hanging up and booking a new flight. I have course book a new flight directly with the airline. I could not even fly standby on the next flight with the airline because they told me they were unable to assist me in anyway because I booked through a third-party vendor. There were plenty of seats available on the next flight and I would've been able to fly standby had I purchased directly from the airline. Never again"
Plussat: "Each seat had their own screens, and there was a small footrest available for each seat."
Miinukset: "The food was uncharacteristically bad for JAL. They served some sort of French chef's dish that was terrible. Normally, JAL has great food that I love to eat. The plane was also pretty old so it felt more cramped than usual, and the seats we uncomfortable."
Plussat: "Everyone is polite, helpful, and the flight was quite pleasant."
Miinukset: "Website is difficult and it's impossible to get seated in advance next to traveling companions if they're booked separately. That was quite frustrating"
Plussat: "The staff continued to check on the passengers throughout the flight. The food on the flight across the Pacific was excellent for airline food. Used trays did not stay in front of the passengers for a long time. They were removed in a very timely manner."

Miinukset: "Vegetarian food very difficult to book on JAL. Unlike most other major airlines they don't offer a vegetarian option routinely on their menus. Both I and another passenger who flew JAL the weekend before found the vegetarian food poor - very bland and too salty. The exact same menu all four times we flew. A pity as the rest of the service wa excellent. If JAL wishes to attract more international customers it would be a good idea for it to broaden its global perspective and provide better vegetarian options. I know others who've had similar concerns about other types of special meal."

Next time we'll try HNL-SAI entry to Nam. The Boeing 787 was a great ride to/from Ha Noi, particularly with JAL service."

Miinukset: "The entertainment selection wasn't as robust as other flights. I had to make sure and "save" things for the flight back so I wasn't bored. I always pack a book or game along the way, so it really wasn't that much of an issue."
Plussat: "Excellent custumer service including cabin attendants' attentiveness and pilot's warnings of turbulence. Great in-flight entertainment. I liked the special touches such as the small snack and water bar available throughout the flight, and the breakfast Kumamon special. Clean bathrooms are very very appreciated."
Miinukset: "The only bad experience was when we were boarding, and I asked whether I could take a newspaper and the business class flight attendant snidely said that it was only for business class. I understand the comment, but her expression and tone were unnecessary."

Miinukset: "The seats were horrific. We flew economy because anything of an upgrade is ridiculously expensive. The seats were so tiny with NO leg room at all. I couldn't even fit my purse under the seat in front of me. I have had more space on Southwest flights. My husband, who is 6'1" could barely get his knees in front of him. This is insane for a 10 hr flight...worse on the way to Japan for a 13 hr flight. Also, not a whole lot of drink service. i was dying for water but it is very difficult to get out of the middle seat to find it. Would NOT book again on this airline."
Plussat: "The stewardesses were wonderful-kind, considerate and hardworking. Great meals and constant attention offering drinks. The movie choices were terrific. I stayed up all night watching top flight movies that I had not seen. I would love to travel with them again!"

There were crazy delays, flight cancellations and no communication whatsoever.

Worst experience, slow boarding due to bus transports, crew are rude and flight was delayed for more than 1 hr and nothing was offered during the wait. One of my worst flights.

However, you will not go hungry because they make sure that you stay and hydrated on their flights. I do dislike all the dogs that are allowed in planes. Now flights have babies crying coupled with dogs barking. Takes away from the overall ambiance that Qatar tries so hard to achieve."

I like that they respect that it is a night flight and serve the meal quickly so it can be dark for the whole flight and you can sleep as much as you can. I like how efficient the layover is in Doha - only 40mins!"
Miinukset: "I don't like when they don't ask the person in front to move their chair up for the meal and the passengers have to ask each other. I don't like that they can't tell you the gate of your connecting flight and how long it will take to get you there - including if you will need to take a bus and the train. I think this could reduce a lot of anxiety. If they could do this, it would also be helpful to let people who have a connecting flight that is boarding in the next 30 mins off the plane first. This would save pushing and shoving in the aisles... and would also reduce anxiety about booking a flight with such a short layover."

Seats very firm for such a long flight. While meals were very good, snack options were terrible."

Lentojen peruuttaminen ja siirto aiheutti ylimääräistä tressiä ja lisäsi matkakustannuksia mm. Ylimääräisten hotellikulujen muodossa. Momondon käyttämä Tripmonster on nimensä mukainen hirviösysteemi, jonka tiedoittaminen ja etenkin tavoitettavuus on aivan luokatonta tasoa. En enää suostu ikinä ostamaan matkaa Momondon kautta jos he käyttävät Tripmonsteria.

Everything was very good but I was disappointed from the bathroom they were not clean from the middle of the flight from la to Istanbul no soap

The layover in Istanbul was 1 hour 5 mins. That is NOT ENOUGH TIME to get from one gate to another and go through security again. By the time my plane landed from Kiev to Istanbul, the flight to San Francisco was already boarding. I had to cross a very long airport, go back into security check and then run another 15 mins. I barely made the flight and they were about to close the door when I arrived. Turkish Airlines should NOT SELL TICKETS WITH SUCH SHORT LAYOVER WITHOUT ACCOMODATING US or helping us to get to the other gate faster. It was a very bad experience. Why sell tickets with unreasonable layover times? It is not fair for the customer and not feasible to make the flight.

The flight didn’t even happen.

Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Miinukset: "They had rotten food and didn't even tell us when serving would begin. Also they lost our luggage in spite of having our tag #. How does an airline not put a tag on a bag and give a bagage tag to a customer. ?? And after going on a cruise with one Carry on and everything Lost they don't even give us an allowance or a normal kit for toiletries and no one answers our questions. All the calls go to the call center that has no idea about how to track a bag. There are no managers to help and the customer service stinks"

Miinukset: "Trying to reclaim our laptops at the end of the trip was a nightmare. They confiscated all electronic devices larger than a cellphone due to new Trump regulations (not their fault). Fine. But they were so disorganized about the process. When trying to reclaim the devices after the flight utter chaos ensued. That was their fault. Passengers were on the verge of violence and it could have been avoided by simply being more organized."
Plussat: "Our flight was cancelled and they gave us direct flight back to Singapore in premium economy seats."
Miinukset: "This is our second experience of flights being cancelled via Turkish Airlines. Very disappointing customer care when flights get cancelled. Staff totally unprepared and untrained for such situations. We waited around for 6 hours before finding out on our own, that the flight was cancelled. The notice was not shown on the board. In all waited around at the airport for more than 10 hours before we were finally carted off to a small hotel near by at 1230am in the morning. Very little to no information given throughout the whole process, stranded with parched throats, no luggage, clean clothes or toothbrush."

I realize they were at the mercy of O'Hare, but they should have made some announcement every 15 minutes or so just to "keep us posted" if nothing else. Also, there was quite a bit of confusion for passengers whose final destination was Detroit. I had to explain to the Flight Attendant that they needed to explain to the passengers why they couldn't deplane there. She phoned the pilot and he provided an appropriate explanation. This really my only complaint."

Just one of the worst experiences ever. The crew on the flight from Tokyo to Istanbul, also very rude and cold. The food was really bad, the egg was terrible!"
Miinukset: "Actually we were denied at Istanbul to get on this flight because they said they have closed the gate,even if they knew we were coming with the transfer from budapest.after that they made us pay almost 900$ for a reboking fee in order to get us on the next flight,huge amount for a reboking fee which I am trying to get back at least half of my money,terrible experience,in Istanbul at the airport nobody wanted to help us,they don't speak english,I ended to pay almost 2500$ for me and my husband for the tickets"

Tuntui kuin lentokenttävirkailijat olisi olleet TET-harjoittelussa. Ongelma ei tietty ole Finnairin henkilökunnassa vaan Münchenin kentän virkailijoissa. Oli kuin kaikki olisivat ensimmäistä päivää töissä. Todella heikkoa toimintaa.

Check in Pariisissa oli vanhanaikasta. Jos on matkatavara menossa rumaan, tai haluaa boardingpassi paperiversiona joutuu odottamaan että check in avautuu.

Kone lähti myöhässä ja henkilökunnalla turha puheripuli kovaäänisiin

Finnair siirsi lentomme vuorokaudella eteenpäin. Ilmoitus tuli tuntia ennen koneen lähtöä kun oli jo toimitettu matkalaukut koneeseen ja tultu turvatarkastuksesta läpi ja odoteltiin koneeseen nousua lähtöportilla. Käsittämätöntä, tieto ylibuukkauksesta oli varmasti tiedossa paljon aikaisemmin. Kari ja Marja Alatyppö

Palvelu oli erinomaista, kone oli siisti ja aikataulut pitivät hyvin. Ihan pieni suma syntyi koneeseen noustessa kun eri boarding-ryhmät sumppuuntuivat putkeen. Pieni tauko boarding-ryhmien välissä olisi tehnyt siirtymästä vielä asteen sujuvamman.

Finnairilla hyvä henkilökunta, kaikki sujui tosi hienosti lennolla.

lentoemännät hoiti tehtävänsä hyvin. Koneen ilmastoinnissa oli vikaa, tuli vilu.

Lento aivan täynnä ja bourdauksessa ei mitään järjestystä. Tuntuu siltä, että Finnair sijoittaa pariskunnat erilleen ilman erillistä maksettua paikkavalintaa.

Lento 3h myöhässä. Informaation kulku hidasta ja sekavaa.

Lähtöselvityksessä oli vain yksi henkilö, mikä ei vastannut lainkaan tarvetta, koska hän oli ERITTÄIN HIDAS - ja hieman tyly (?). Passeja hän pyöritteli todella kauan ja tavasi hitaasti kirjain kirjaimelta nimemme niistä ja vertaili kuvia meihin. Tuntui todella oudolta. Lisäksi tarranauhat taisivat loppua kesken ja hän joutui hakemaan niitä muualta. Meillä (kolmen hlön perhe) oli ainoastaan yksi laukku menossa ruumaan, mutta virkailija yllätti meidät vaatimalla myös käsimatkatavaramme ruumaan, koska tilaa olisi kuulemma liian vähän. Luonnollisesti olimme pakanneet kaiken säännösten mukaan ja tässä hässäkässä ruumaan joutui myös elektroniikka, jotka olimme jättäneet käsimatkatavaroihin. Virkailija ei huomannut kysyä asiasta, emmekä me kiireessä muistaneet sitä. Lisäksi jouduin todella vaatimalla vaatimaan, että sain yhden laukun käsimatkatavaroihin, koska sairastan diabetesta ja astmaa ja olin pakannut matkalla mahdollisesti tarvitsemani lääkkeet ko. laukkuun. Ehdin jo hieman hätääntyä asiasta, kunnes virkailija "armollisesti" tuli sen verran vastaan, että antoi minun valita yhden kolmesta laukustamme matkustamoon. Ymmärrän tilantarpeen, mutta olisi ollut todella järkevää kertoa jonossa odottaville etukäteen, että tällaista vaaditaan, jotta muutenkin todella tiukalla ollut ollut aika ei olisi kulunut turhaan säätämiseen turhautuneitten jonottajien odottaessa selän takana. Asian olisi mielestäni voinut myös hoitaa hieman kohteliaammin. Lisäksi huomasin koneessa, että hyvin harvan kohdalla oli vaadittu jättämään matkustamoon tarkoitettuja laukkuja ruumaan - ainakin lähes kaikilla oli yksi laukku/hlö mukana. Hämmentävää. Yllättävää kyllä kone pääsi kuitenkin lähtemään matkustajien puolesta ajallaan, vaikka jonottavat pitivät sitä mahdottomana. Lento sujui muuten hyvin, paitsi jalkatilat olivat todella surkeat verrattuna menomatkamme koneeseen.

Kone oli kolme tuntia myöhässä.... Meitä pompoteltiin portilta toiselle. Ilmastointi oli olematon.

Finnair on lentoyhtiönä nykyään aivan perseestä! Siirtävät esim lentoja 2 päivällä eteenpäin eivätkä kerro matkustajille edes syytä! Laitoin kyselyä asiakaspalveluun jo maaliskuussa 2022 ja lentomme oli 27.5 ja en ole vieläkään saanut vastausta miksi lentoa siirrettiin.

Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.

Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)

Tämä nykyajan "turvatarkastusteatteri" on aivan absurdia matkustajien kiusaamista. EI voi mitenkään olla perusteltua että joutuu jonottamaan yli 2 tuntia sitä että käsimatkatavarat tutkitaan. Matkustajista 99.99999% on rehellisiä asiallisia ihmisiä eikä heidän kiusaamisensa moisella teatterilla edistä mitenkään lentoturvallisuutta. Parannusehdotus turvallisuuspäällikölle potkut tehtäviensä hoidon täydellisestä epäonnistumisesta. Esim lennollani 2 oli vain läpivalaisulaitetta käytössä ja jonossa tuhansia ihmisiä. Ilman lennon myöhästymistä olisimme missanneet lentomme tämän pelleilyn johdosta! Kyllä moiset tarkastukset pitää pystyä järjestämään siten ettei matkustajan tarvitse seisoskella jonossa tuntikausia. ( tämä jonottaminen tarkoittaa myös sitä ettei kukaan voinut käyttää kentän palveluita, eli myös heidän business kärsii tästä typeryydestä)

Tarjoilu

Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.

Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.

Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.

Matkatavaratietomme puuttuivat järjestelmästä. Turhaa vaivaa moisesta asiasta. Valitin suoraan Finnairille.

Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!

Ilmainen kahvi olihan kiva. Lento myöhässä yli 2 h Hesan päässä odotettiin rappusia. Huh huh. On se vaikeeta!

Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.

Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.

Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.

Erinomaiset ja viihdyttävät lentäjät mutta lento lähti myöhässä

Tässä odottelen laukkua vieläkin niin missähän olis parannettavaa!

Jokin ongelma saapuessa jolloin bussikuljetus ja kävely toisesta päästä kenttää… kangasmaski käskettiin vaihtaa kesken lennon vaikka osa oli ilman saapuessakin koneeseen Lentolippujen kaivaminen oli haastavaa,sitten keksin liittää finskin appiin

Minulla oli aivan kova nälkä ja halusin ostaa lentokoneessa leivän mutta valitettavasti minä olen nuori enkä omista luottokorttia ja en saanut koneesta mitään koska normaali electron maksu kortti ei kelvannut eikä käteinen kelvannut..

Miinukset: "I had an issue with the sound on my entertainment unit that caused it to stop every time I paused a viewing. I had to exit then return to the show, which restarted where I paused it, but it was annoying. It also would have been nice to have a solitaire card game to play online. Overall, though, the variety was well thought out."

The staff especially at Heathrow is a joke, don't even bother reasoning with them."
