Plussat: "Helsinki is a convenient connection to fly to the U.S. One of Finnair planes was damaged earlier in Chicago and they used AirItaly to operate this flight. I was traveling with a recent wrist fracture and I was lucky I had an empty seat next to me that allowed me to move my arm a lot to avoid swelling."
Miinukset: "Our boarding was an hour and a half delayed"
Plussat: "Well oiled service machine."
Plussat: "The crew is excellent. Very friendly, professional, and helpful. Both on board and at the desk inside the airport. They listen to your needs and respond the best they can. Seats are comfortable enough for Economy. Good selection of movies to watch. The flight was on time and arrived even a little earlier than expected."
Miinukset: "The food was filling, but not particularly tasty. For those seated toward the back, there was no choice. Although maybe there was no choice to begin with. Normally, on international flights, for the first (bigger) meal at least, you are given two choices, such as meat or vegetarian, beef or chicken. The food itself wasn't great. The salad was below average on both flight, from and to Chicago. So was the desert. Drinks are offered once with each meal in very small glasses. Although there is a bottle of water from the start."
Plussat: "Personal finnair were very unpleasant and offered me for 30 min flight to Tallinn wait 8.5 hours flight to Stockholm and coming next day afternoon. Everything was too bad. I had to get taxi and boat and coming in Tallinn. I lost time and money. I never going to use finnair and kayak again."
Miinukset: "Everything. Worst flight in my life"

Plussat: "Free movies, TV shows, ok seats (but hey, it's a plane), great meals and service, and a pillow, blanket and water for each person. I really enjoyed both flights with Finnair and would gladly pick them again!"
Plussat: "I was able to change my flight quickly by one phone call to Finnair customer service to this earlier flight. I got an upgrade to Business Class where they call me by my name. Food and beverages were very good and staff so friendly that I was surprised what has happened to them :)"

Miinukset: "The boarding was awfully slow, and the flight departed nearly half an hour late. The cabin crew offered free water and coffee, once. Even then I had to ask the flight attendant, they did not ask me. No entertainment on the flight, magazines were rather pricy so I read a book and caught up with some sleep."
Plussat: "The staff were thoughtful and kind. They checked on us and offered snacks and water very regularly. My favorite, though, was that the captain took the time to alert us to the sights out the window. We had closed the shades at the request of the attendants and would have missed the beauty of Greenland had he not alerted us to peak out. I appreciate that!"

Miinukset: "The service. 3 hour late flight, had to rebook my connection out of my own pocket. After we got on the plane, we find out the issues were not fixed and had to wait another hour. Terrible food. Yogurt was actually expired, so I had no breakfast. People were all nice as they told me I should have booked the flights together. Hmmm... Maybe you should not have been 4 hours late. I planned my trip with more than enough time to make connection... Called about my travel insurance and found out it kicked in after 6 hour delay. Customer service should never make you feel like the issue is your fault."
Miinukset: "The movies did not play on my screen. I tried to use the screen on the seat next to me and the movies quit in the middle. It was very annoying."
Plussat: "It seems a bit unfair to rate Finnair, when the flight was serviced by Iberia...that being said - everyone seemed to be put out by any request or basic question. The movies were really good and (UNLIKE the flight from Chicago to Madrid, where i was told they didn't do that) the stewardess on the flight home didn't mind giving me a second glass of wine."
Miinukset: "the people at the boarding desk in O'Hare were rude & indifferent. The flight attendants on way to Spain were non-existant The food was comically awful!!! The man at the check-in desk in Madrid could not have been ruder or less helpful (Hopefully for his wife's sake!) The food on the way home again was unfortunate.....that can NOT possibly be the best food any company can find in Spain. Hell - wed have been better off with a cheese & ham plate with some bread!!"

Plussat: "I was at the gate. Before the door to enter the airplane. The Hungarian crew wasn’t telling me that they are closing the gate or going to close it. They completely ignore me and let me stand there and at the end I see the door close in front of me, 2 meter from me and they told me I mised flight."
Miinukset: "I lost my money and I had to buy new flight with other company. Wizzair crew at budapest was very rude and didn’t take responsibility for the mistake they did. They could just say they are closing the door but nobody did. 2 meters from me and after I passed all security they ignored me completely."

Miinukset: "Cannot understand management of border control security before boarding. This is done in the corridor on route to gate. Long long queues, then continued to queue before boarding in the waiting/holding room. No toilets once you enter the corridor to go to gate. Unsatisfactory management. Water from air conditioner dripping on me on board from take off. Not an immediate suggestion to move, but agreement to do so on my suggestion and then gentle insistence. Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."

Miinukset: "Make sure you queue early if you want to take your hand luggage on board, as if you are too late in the line they will make you check it into the hold at the last minute. I guess I should have realised that by how early people started queueing and the fact that they charge for checked in luggage."

A delay caused us to wait on the bus for a good half an hour which was somewhat uncomfy, and the plane was very warm. couldn't take my shoulder bag on as well even though I could've put it under the chair, which I feel like is a sneaky way of making you pay for the speedy boarding thing."
Miinukset: "There was a mix up and the Wizz Air website did not work. Therefore, I couldn't check in a get my seats booked. I also could not prepay for my luggage so they overcharged me at the airport and had an attitude about it. My luggage was given three different prices quotes. I am very upset their website didn't work and they ripped me off at the airport."
Plussat: "I liked that I got to my destination in one piece."
Miinukset: "The plane was creaky, there was a ton of turbulence, the flight attendants even got nervous which was very disquieting."
Miinukset: "Checkpoint at katowice the wirst ever seen, personnel with very bad atittude wanting personal cosmetics to fit on stupid plastic bag, the rest wanted to scrap or document my bag to pay extra even I already pay for bring it inside cabin, same before boarding I have my computer backpack and already pay 10 eur for large cabin bag and before boarding they wanted for me to checkin baggage because rule is only backpack even I did explain I already paid large cabin, at end I paid 63 Eur total for my luggage I found completly dissapointed and abusing from many passengersbin the same sittuation, also fly have us inside the plane for more than 30minutes without leaving,"

Miinukset: "These discount flights from Luton are packed with obnoxious, drunken Brits going on holiday in Hungary. In future, I will fly from Heathrow. Besides, by the time one pays all the little incidental fees at WizzAir, the cost is about the same as the legacy carriers."
Miinukset: "Arrived at the airport 2 hours before departure, I was not aware you can't checkin at the airport and need to pay 30 euros for it. The treatment and the attitude from the personnel at the check in counter was rude, they were short and unkind The staff member in charge of charging for checking was incredibly slow, there were 4 people in line including me and it took her 40 minutes to charge me the 30 euros This was after I already stood in line for the ticket for another 30 mins I almost missed my flight due to their poor handling"

Miinukset: "Told our bag was too big even though we'd paid for a large carry on, which we already knew fit in the overhead compartment (plane was an airbus A320). We were then required to check our bags, but not until after we were told to combine our personal item with our large carry on bag & then told that it was too big. instead of crediting us the amount we'd already paid (€20), we were charged the full checked bag fee of €55. The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

Miinukset: "We arrived at a field in Israel with 2 backpacks and did not charge us extra, but on the way back they decided to charge us at the last minute for the same cases we had arrived with. Nothing we said helped and the attitude was cold and hard. The flight was good"

Miinukset: "Despite long delay, there were no announcements by the staff about the delay until we were already almost 40 minutes past our original departure time. No water or food was distributed to the passengers despite the delay. Delay was not wizzair's fault but there was no customer service to speak off."
Plussat: "Brand new planes - on board crew was pleasant and the flights were smooth and on time."
Miinukset: "Ridiculous size restrictions on carry-on. If you can pack your clothes in a wallet, then you should be able to carry on at no cost. Only the smallest of bags will meet the "free" requirement. Website is awful to attempt to online check in. Crazy that they charge for check in at the airport if you cannot get their site to work. Customer service phone call also costs a quid a minute. It's almost as if they are proud that they screw you if you encounter any difficulty or you've made a mistake in the complicated boarding pass emailing procedure."

Miinukset: "I had a standard carry on bag which in Wizz air world turned out to be a large bag. Not only did I have to pay and additional £40 at the airport for it, I had to take it on board with me too. This bag has been on many other low fares airlines without a problem. The Wizz air carry on limit is unrealistically small and is thus merely a money making racket."
Miinukset: "I ordered a ticket and got a confirmation email. Unfortunately I could not check in online. I arrived at the airport and found out that I did not have a ticket. This story cost me a lot of money and a lot of time"
Plussat: "Transparent fare, no frills and punctual."
Miinukset: "Hideous seats - seat backs don't decline which, combined with minimal legroom (even in "premium" section"), makes for a very uncomfortable flight."
Plussat: "I liked that everything ran smoothly for the most part. I'd definitely fly with them again."
Miinukset: "I didn't realize I had to check-in 3 hours prior to my flight or else I'd have to pay almost 50$ extra for a boarding pass!!! One of the women at the counter was extremely rude about it (while the gentleman was very nice and helpful). There was no entertainment on the plane, but I didn't expect any, but I didn't realize how short the leg room would be... my knees literally were shoved into the seat in front of me the entire fight."
