Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Went to the wrong gate for my connecting flight, Turkish air rep at the gate checked my boarding pass, didn't say a word about me being at the wrong gate. Tgere was no announcement of any kind (found out later, Turkish sir doesn't do announcement at the Istanbul airport. No clue as to why). Thought, tgere was another delay and by the time I asked, it was too late to catch my flight and that's when I got a full dose of every single person w Turkish air trying to stiff me with the most outrageous penalty for changing Nguyen my ticket. Started out at $1114 on a $758 ticket, then went down to $925 and if I stay over night, down to $750. Seriously? Rude, talking down at me and telling me that if I don't pay the penalty, my return ticket will be cancelled. I keep getting bounced from one person to another being told to wait here and wait there then I finally got so sick of all of it, bought a new connecting flight online, spending the night in Istanbul and will see what will happen w my return flight to the US. I call this 'theft' as if i buy an entire new ticket from Istanbul to Cairo then back to the US online, it will cost me less than the penalty they're trying to get me to pay. Shame on you Turkish airline!! You'd think w all the issues they're having w tourism in their country these days they'd care about not doing this kind of mistreatment of their clients."

They left my checked bag in my original location even though my wife’s checked bag made it to the destination. The flight was delayed to the point that we missed our connecting flight and the automatic rebooking was for a flight way further out than was helpful for our trip. Their customer service is nearly non-existent and they don’t seem to care about when they make an egregious mistake. Avoid this airline. It’s terrible.

The flight was half an hour late, which is the new normal in Europe. Friendly crew.

Mentioned previously. By a chain of events Lufthansa started, I and my family we treated as fodder; not customers.

My bag was delayed as of now by one day, maybe more. Besides, the flight was delayed by one and a half hours.

Everything ok

Boarding was chaotic since they were short staffed. Staff had to board a different flight before boarding our flight, which made our take off late. However the captain made up most of the time in flight. The steward and stewardesses were outstanding, friendly and helpful. The airline also helped us with the transfer. I’m not sure we would have made it in time by ourselves.

One flight attendant was amazing, 1st class although she wasn't even in business class. Somehow felt others were tired or mind somewhere else, so not really good service. Choice of food was basic, but good choice of drinks. Plane was comfortable and I think pilot was a woman, which is a nice change. Excellent that there are dividers in the middle seat in business class. Corona restriction rules, like mask wearing rules is extremely wise. Other airlines removed it, but I like better your choice better. Feels safer.

Better rapport with passengers in business class. Food that was served in economy class is now served in business class. Not the level of business class food. Economy class passengers should be getting snacks and drinks like they did before. Put back the pride in Croatia Airlines. I'm Croatian and I was always proud of our flights. Now quality is lower. Staff was nice, some more then others. Lufthansa flights have nice choice of drinks, but this time food was a bit basic. Well, that can happen. Hopefully next time there will be better choice of food. Staff was ok, not great. One flight attendant was amazing. Business class top quality, although she wasn't even assigned to business.

Lufthansa can't handle the new challenges the pandemic brought. Next time I would do everything possible not to flight with them.

Miinukset: "Lufthansa still charges full price like usual, but on a 8+ hour flight to serve a cat size meal of pasta soaked in some pesto sauce is unacceptable! Thank god I had lunch at Frankfurt before departure! Covid-19 should not be an excuse for lack of services! I work for a company which falls into the Essential business category and despite the pandemic we NEVER EVER compromised with the top quality of our product! I am so dissatisfied with Lufthansa and what they have become, pale shadow of a great company, very sad...."

Miinukset: "Walk between connecting flights in Munich was very long (25 minutes) and when we got to the gate for the flight to EWR, there was a very long, and very slow-moving line with only one attendant checking boarding passes for 6 gates. We arrived at the gate and were among the last passengers to board. A last minute additional attendant that was brought on, helped to make the line move a bit faster, but this under-staffed checkpoint added unnecessary stress to our long travel day."
Plussat: "My flight was a little under two hours and I loved all of the extra leg room in the exit row. The crew was friendly and pleasant."

They are great for all flights , but especially long flights. The only airline where flying 12 hrs isn't a horrible experience ! I've used them more than once , and they are always great! They canceled our flights but the flight went on anyway.

Miinukset: "I had paid for an upgrade to sit in the front of the cabin with extra legroom (row 14A). When I boarded a man sat it my seat. He had not paid for the upgrade, but the crew let him stay in my seat. I had asked him to social distance but he continued to sit right behind me bo matter which seat I moved to. He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

Miinukset: "I paid €60 extra to sit in the emergency door seat to get more leg room but once.i was in the plane learned for more leg room I accepted a smaller seat next to a bathroom and no entertainment. I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. Plussat: "There was a lot of leg room on this plane. I do not think they have retrofitted it yet to today's money making planes as other airlines have done. We left late, but we arrived only a few minutes late."

Miinukset: "My original flight was supposed to land at 8:55pm but I was notified that it had been changed to land closer to midnight which was a problem because my hotel closed at midnight. After talking to the customer service agent at the airport he told me the reason my flight had changed was because my original airplane was flying out of another airport and the only way to make the flight that I had booked was to take a cab ride to the other airport. What he didn't explain was that its a 45+ minute drive between the two airports and I only had about 1.5 hours to get my bag, get on the taxi, check in at the other airport, clear security AND customs. Somehow by the grace of god it all came together but it was certainly a harrowing experience, not to mention the $45 I lost in cab fares. I cannot recommend LAN/LATAM."
Miinukset: "I was charged 200 dollars to transport a 400 dollars surfboard. This makes it prohibitive for anyone to travel with our entertainment equipment. It should only qualify as sport equipment for remunerated athletes, not amateurs like me."
Plussat: "Despite having a high "Sapphire" status with this One World Partner and being promised "preferente" seats by the airline when I reserved seats months ago, I was unable to view the seats or check in online. Both their App and their online system were down and unavailable. We were never able to view our actual seats online. The "preferred seats" my group on 5 could not have been worse!! We were seated consistently in row 11 or the very last row of the aircraft immediately in front of the lavatory, where the seats do not recline at all and where you hear and smell the bathroom for the entire flight.. There was NO space to breathe in our seats. I have traveled on dozens of airlines and this experience and these seats were the WORST! After this happened once, I specifically asked to insure that it would not happen again and was told that seats on my next flights were good but they were the same horrible seats. Part of our itinerary was on LAN and part was on TAM, who have now combined into 1 airline, but still operate on separate systems. So LAN customer service could not see the seats for TAM flights and vice versa. Their online system reflected a changed time for our return flight from 145pm to 250pm from Rio. We verified it 3 times (even though we could not check in or view our seats because of "technical difficulties" we could see the new departure tie, and the change was confirmed by our Sheraton concierge, but when we arrived to the airport they informed us that we had arrived to late for our 145pm flight! We showed them the app that showed our flight was changed to 250pm and they could not explain the problem. We were delayed 4 hours and arrived too late for dinner in Santiago. The final 4 hour flight at 4am flight from Santiago to Lima was torture. The seat in front was literally 6 inches in front of my face when they reclined and I could not recline. It was absolute TORTURE! Avoid this airline! To add the agony, they have lost my bag and do not know where it is!"

Two airlines who cannot view or help with the other's flights or even view seats or accurate flight information pretend to call themselves one airline. Lost luggage! Nearly impossible credit card payment system would not accept American credit cards"

Miinukset: "The ground personne in Iguazul were terrific. Flight got cancelled after check in. We were in waiting area. Staff remembered who we were, found us, had us hurry bavk to check-in. Got our luggage, got it retagged, and got us on another flight leaving almost immediately. We got to BA with no problems as did our luggage. Yay for your smart, resourceful, thoughtful and efficient ground crew in Iguazu. They deserve a special thanks."

I should never have to give up my passport into plastic bags/strangers EVER. They lost my customs paper, and then proceeded to accuse me of "selling it"--They took it after I passed through customs initially and if they put it back in passport after they threw them all in plastic bags- god knows where it is, or who's hands it was in who may have took it. They would not give us food vouchers, or water. They couldn't figure out how to get buses and hotel rooms for people- basic simple business skills-- add number of passengers going to hotel, calculate number of seats per bus and that will get you the number of buses needed--- they couldn't figure that out. I will call and give more detail, I promise."
Plussat: "Service was prompt, smooth boarding and the aircraft was modern. there was an entertainment option if you had downloaded their app before the flight - I hadn't downloaded it, so can't comment on the entertainment. Other than that - all in all great service."

Customs at CDG airport was sooooo slow that we nearly missed our connection with maybe 3 minutes to spare.

The gate crew in Paris was HORRIBLE. I purchased a Premium Economy seat and was "involuntarily downgraded" to regular economy, splitting up my family. There was no apology and they were very rude. And then they subjected me to an additional security check. When I asked about a refund for the difference, they simply said, "check with the ticket agent in LA when you get there." But due to flight delays, we didn't get to the ticket counter until 11 p.m. and they couldn't help me. The flight crew was astonished this had happened, and they tried to be helpful. But the whole experience was pretty lousy.

Plane delayed at 22PM

Last minute gate change at Charles de Gaulle, required me to walk further to alternate gate for my flight to Punta Cana.

Air France service was superb. The airline did their best to expedite the boarding process even with the constant changes of Covid19 guidelines

Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."
Plussat: "The food was great. Very filling and hot foods were hot and cooked thoroughly. For our 8 hour flight we were served 2 meals and snacks and plenty of hot drinks which was nice.The entertainment was great got to watch movies and play games and also learn language through games."

No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Miinukset: "One of the engine was smoking just as we took off. This should have been checked beforehand that it was working correctly. The pilot missed the first landing, was going too fast and had to turn around. We circled the London eye 3 times. When we were actually landing it was extremely bumpy and on the way down the plane was tilting back and forth a lot. They were going too fast when we landed as well, I have never been in a plane that has landed so poorly, and I have travelled a lot and used many different airlines. It was worse than any budget airline I've been on. As we were driving back to the terminal, the pilot stopped short for some reason. Things were not explained clearly. I will not be flying with airfrance again and will be sure to spread the word of this awful experience."
