My flight was on 10th May 2018 from Islamabad to Doha to Chicago but neither my online booking site ( Kayak ) not Qatar Airways sent any notification that my Boarding was changed from Banzir International Airport to the newer, bigger airport. Consequently , on the day of flight, I went to check in and board from the Bnazir International Airport but upon reaching the airport I was told that the airport was no more in operation. I was surprised to hear that all flights were to be from the newer airport. By the time I rerouted my taxi to the new airport I was already late for my flight but fortunately the flight from Islamabad to Doha, Qatar was delayed and I made it to the boarding time and flew to Doha , Qatar and then to Chicago."

Reason: There are two queues 1 For people who did a web checkin 2 people who didn’t do a web checkin The Qatar staff at Hyderabad experienced a technical glitch because their only system failed and there was no backup option. There was no apology from any of the staff. No one values the time of the people who chose Qatar making it a very bad experience overall"

Overall, a poor experience from Qatar Airways."

You guys were late landing,and as a result I almost missed my connecting flight, was rushed thru the airport like a lunatic by one of your Reps. Then was told my luggage may not be in Abu Dhabi when I arrive, which it was not. My paid for seat wasn't available and had to sit in the back. Had to fill out a lost luggage report in Abu Dhabi. Was promised my luggage by 4:30 pm . Didn't receive it until 2:30 am next day. Missed my whole first day of vacation as I had no clothes , toiletries, etc . Very angry, and feel I should get a substantial discount on my next flight in March to Dubai. Totally unacceptable !!!!!!!"

Plussat: "Person kicked seat due to reclining and crew did NOTHING to stop. Turkish sold seat as extended comfort, but then said at the gate that they don’t have such seats!!"

Miinukset: "Boarding took too long. The ground crew had all the passengers line up in front of the gate, and wait for about 30 minutes before we were allowed to board. No explanations were given for the delay. The entertainment service needs updating. There didn't seem to be a lot of new movies from the last time time I flew the airline over two months ago."

Miinukset: "The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

Miinukset: "The laptop on board ban is a mess. As we were flying to the US, we had to go through literally 4 security checks one after the other. Then, all of our electronics (laptop, camera, even headphones) other than our phones had to be taken. As everyone had to go through it , this delayed our flight by 1 hour. When we landed, we waited literally 1.5h before they started handing out our electronics. All in all, it took me 4 hours to leave the airport."
Plussat: "Offered us a free meal for the poor service."
Miinukset: "Old, uncomfortable plane. Took off 30-40 minutes late. Poor quality food. Circled Istanbul airport for 15 minutes without any communication. Flight arrived late, but no info. on connecting flights provided. At least eight passengers ran through the Istanbul airport to catch the connecting flight to Rome and, despite the fact that the plane was still at the gate, the gate staff person would not allow any of us on the flight. Customer service staff were unhelpful and had a negative attitude. The transfer were helpful."

Miinukset: "We ordered regular vegetarian food without any meat, fish or poultry. We had reserved it at least 2 weeks in advance. Again reminded them at the time of ticketing. Agent went to some one, there was some nodding of heads and we were told to tell crew member in advance. We did it in a written request to head crew. When time came other crew member served us completely ignorant of our request. We were served flash of some animal. We did not want to make a scene but people around were were also bothered. We came out hungry at the other end"

Miinukset: "The food is a total zero. Food is presented to human being like begged on the street . Pasta with just tomatoes sauce ? No meat , chicken or fish absolutely empty . The chicken meal had like 2 spoons of riice thrown in . Food was very unappealing . For a flight of about 7hrs it could have been better. My flight from U S to Istanbul was perfect . Meals , service ,bathrooms all good . Please they need to improve on the African route or stay off the route ."
Miinukset: "So far, it has been a horrendous experience with Turkish Airlines. Airlines don't know how to handle uncertain situation, whole system collapses. Total disaster!!!!"
Plussat: "Seats, much more spacious than most flights. Great service and attention to detail. Great selection of entertainment. Taking off and landing very smooth. Someone got sick and she was handled very well by the staff."

Miinukset: "13 1/2 hour flight three rows from the rear of the plane. I feel and smell like a sardine. The food was horrid. I tasted it, but thought best of eating it for fear of food poisoning. It also looked disgusting. Couldn't understand any of the announcements."

Miinukset: "Get rid of the foot rest, it blocks the ability to stretch your legs during a long flight. As a result, it was a very uncomfortable flight. I do not know of any other long haul airlines that have these. I will probably not fly Turkish Airlines on any flights over 3 hours due to the cramped space caused by your footrests. Other than space, everything else was excellent."

Miinukset: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

Miinukset: "Very little legroom. When the person in front of my reclined, I wasn't even able to open my tray all the way to eat. Flight was delayed for takeoff, that wasn't the airline's fault (air traffic) so that didn't factor in my review. Although the food is generally tasty, the dessert could be upgraded. I flew on 4 Turkish Airline flights this year and have never finished a dessert as I've not liked any of them. The bathrooms should be cleaned mid-flight for a 13 hour flight. It started out great but towards the middle of the flight, the bathrooms got really disgusting."

As a result, we were placed on a flight 4 hours later, resulting in a dangerous attempt at reaching our hotel at 11pm. Will never fly Lufthansa again."

Miinukset: "I didn’t like the passenger sitting in front of me on my return flight from Frankfurt to JFK. She had her seat reclined the whole time even during meal service. I asked the stewardess to kindly ask the lady to move her seat up so I can remove my meal tray and she said to communicate with the passenger it would make things more easier. I thought that is what the stewardess is supposed to assist me with but hat is my only complaint"

Plussat: "United airlines check in lady in Knoxville TN, She was efficient, caring and awesome. I also loved the air hostesses on Lufthansa flights, they found space for my bags on board and took care of me all flight long!"
Miinukset: "Lufthansa gate staff may be in need for a better attitude and not the one of a disgruntled child. I would have expected my 3 checked in bags to arrive with me in Cairo, they did not, so making sure the checked in bags arriving with the passengers can be an needed improvement!"

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Miinukset: "The vegetarian option was not as up to the standard of the meal travelling from Los Angeles to Frankfurt. It could be much improved in Business Class."

Miinukset: "The small size of the plane made the long-lasting turbulence near the point of landing impossible to ignore. I don't consider this the fault of the pilot, more the size of the plane."
Miinukset: "way too difficult to try to get exit row seats- I went on line precisely 23 hours before the fight and could not figure out the exit rows- legend said they would be marked by a red line but were not. Very frustrating."

Miinukset: "I find the seats in Economy rather uncomfortable (Premium Economy is way better, but too expensive for me)."

Plussat: "There were lots of out of the ordinary (read annoying) behavior. Of other passengers and the cabin crew responded patiently and professionally."
Miinukset: "Boarding did not proceed by rows as customary so boarding was a bit chaotic with everyone rushing to the gate. The reclining seats aee an issue. Although comfortable for the ones reclining they are uncomfortable and at times painful ( taller people) and makes watching the screen impossible when fully reclined."
Plussat: "The crew was great. The seats were ok."

Miinukset: "no order in boarding and no chairs in Panama airport. Had to stand for 2 hours before boarding."
Miinukset: "No seating area at or near the gate we boarded at, and as boarding was delayed, many people ended up standing for some time because we did not wish to wander too far and then be late for boarding."
Plussat: "Very friendly and accommodating crew, efficient service, nice breakfast pastry for the short flight to Frankfurt"
Miinukset: "Would have been nice to have an entertainment option, but I had a book, so the 2.5 hrs went fast enough."
Plussat: "Service was good, boarding was fast, no other issues."
Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."
Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."
Plussat: "On time and highly efficient as you would expect from the Germans. Airplane was clean and nice. Airport and boarding was very good too."
Miinukset: "Food left much to be desired but not horrible. They said they were short on crew staff (weird - first time I've heard of it) so service was a little slower than usual but not bad. Seats continue to get smaller and thinner which means less comfort for such a long haul flight. The seating arrangement is probably worst at this airline. I booked our seats and paid extra ahead of time, come to find out they changed the seat configuration and our seats sucked so we paid extra for nothing. Lufthansa really needs to fix the seat selection situation."
Miinukset: "The seat was changed without any communication. Also, on-line checking from internet was not functioning."
Plussat: "Food and beverage service was excellent."
Miinukset: "Cabin temperature was way too hot. Leg room was too small"
Miinukset: "Very tight connection and a long distance between gates. Advising customers of this in advance would be helpful."

Miinukset: "The seats are designed for individuals who weight less than 100 lbs and no taller than 5'5". Granted, this was an economy seat. However, I should be able to sit in a seat without the seat in front of me literally 6 inches away from my face. I have traveled internationally countless times, but never have experienced such an uncomfortable flight. I will never fly with Lufthansa internationally again.not because of the crew, because their head office insists on squeezing every inch out of their planes without regard for passenger comfort."
