Miinukset: "No entertainment. New airport in Instanbul not efficient. 30 minutes everytime of taxi after landing and before take off. Flight as usual 40 minutes in delay."

Miinukset: "I just wish they used newer planes on this route but everything else was perfect!"

Plussat: "Flight was badly delayed and they changed the gates 3 times with no proper announcements. As a result connecting in Istanbul after 23 hours flight from LAX I missed my flight to Baku. I was made to pay EUR 651 one way at THY transfer desk for another flight which was also delayed."
Miinukset: "For THY being more professional, taking responsibility for their mistakes and not punishing their customers for THY carelessness. As I understand this situations happen all the time."

Miinukset: "I was in economy. But the legroom was very poor. The next leg of my trip was also in economy, but was much more comfortable with seats further apart and more room under seats. So, you're taking a chance."

Plussat: "Food was good as it is typical on Turkish Airlines."
Miinukset: "The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience."

Miinukset: "This flight didn’t take take off on time. It was delayed A whole hour which made me miss my connection flight To Houston."

Plussat: "Friendly and accommodating crew, surprisingly great food, and nice drink options."
Miinukset: "AC is on initially, then it gets really hot and uncomfortable after the first meal service. i asked a CA if she could help, but the temperature didn't change. This was the pattern for all 4 flights I took recently. Everything else was great though!"

Miinukset: "Flight attendants could check on passengers more often. They seemed to just serve the standard drinks/meals and then disappear."

Plussat: "Everything. Clean plane, cool cologne and lotion in spacious bathroom. Crew was super friendly, helpful and accommodating to us travelers w kids."

Miinukset: "Salad lame. Istanbul airport needs upgrade. Gate change twice in 2 hrs, no good announcement system. Baku airport baggage carousel not up to the standard of the Terminal glory."

Plussat: "Organized and well prepared. No attitude from the flight attendants. Everything went smooth as it should be. We left a bit late and we got on time. Pilots exelled."

Miinukset: "No priority boarding for business class in Istanbul."

Miinukset: "The things that they can improve upon: - Better tasting, not chewy meatballs - Providing salad dressing - Water absolutely had weird odor - Omelette was not tasty at all, as if it came from an industrial machine"

Plussat: "Offered us a free meal for the poor service."
Miinukset: "Old, uncomfortable plane. Took off 30-40 minutes late. Poor quality food. Circled Istanbul airport for 15 minutes without any communication. Flight arrived late, but no info. on connecting flights provided. At least eight passengers ran through the Istanbul airport to catch the connecting flight to Rome and, despite the fact that the plane was still at the gate, the gate staff person would not allow any of us on the flight. Customer service staff were unhelpful and had a negative attitude. The transfer were helpful."

Plussat: "At least one crew member made an effort to help."
Miinukset: "We ordered regular vegetarian food without any meat, fish or poultry. We had reserved it at least 2 weeks in advance. Again reminded them at the time of ticketing. Agent went to some one, there was some nodding of heads and we were told to tell crew member in advance. We did it in a written request to head crew. When time came other crew member served us completely ignorant of our request. We were served flash of some animal. We did not want to make a scene but people around were were also bothered. We came out hungry at the other end"

Miinukset: "Flight was.cancelled.because.of snow in.Istanbul. Fine, that happens, but only solution was to park us in a hotel and tell us to wait. I did not see any serious attempt to reroute passengers and l had to buy another ticket in order to be back at work in time."

Miinukset: "So far, it has been a horrendous experience with Turkish Airlines. Airlines don't know how to handle uncertain situation, whole system collapses. Total disaster!!!!"

Plussat: "For a short flight, it was good. The seats were a bit bigger, and the crew was nicer. The food was ok."
Miinukset: "Again some attitude from flight attendants. The food is average but again subpar compared to previous flights with Turkish Airlines."

Plussat: "The crew on the flight were very nice"
Miinukset: "As our first flight got delayed, me and 28 other pallengers flying to israel told the airline agents that we would miss our connection flightfrom turkey to israel. The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

Miinukset: "I've flown Turkish Airlines for years, and in the recent months I've noticed the thing I really loved about them- their service, food and beverages, have gone down. The quality and availability isn't what it was 3 or 4 years ago."

Plussat: "Movies, food"
Miinukset: "Crew was too slow at times especially during cleaning, fly took forever to depart and it was hot inside the cabin the whole fly... there was only one option for dinner by the time they went to my line."

Plussat: "It was a very comfortable flight. Check-in process was smooth, the airline company was sensitive to departure time. Highly recommended."

Miinukset: "All was generally ok ..."

Plussat: "Food was tasty. See other notes about dessert."
Miinukset: "Very little legroom. When the person in front of my reclined, I wasn't even able to open my tray all the way to eat. Flight was delayed for takeoff, that wasn't the airline's fault (air traffic) so that didn't factor in my review. Although the food is generally tasty, the dessert could be upgraded. I flew on 4 Turkish Airline flights this year and have never finished a dessert as I've not liked any of them. The bathrooms should be cleaned mid-flight for a 13 hour flight. It started out great but towards the middle of the flight, the bathrooms got really disgusting."

My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."
