I had an exchange ticket from Qatar airways, which meant I had the boarding pass for the Alaska airways flight. It took 40 minutes to get me and another passenger onto the flight because it didn’t have us listed as a passenger on the flight.

Momondon käyttämä Tripmonster on nimensä mukainen hirviösysteemi, jonka tiedoittaminen ja etenkin tavoitettavuus on aivan luokatonta tasoa. En enää suostu ikinä ostamaan matkaa Momondon kautta jos he käyttävät Tripmonsteria.

Before that, they even bothered to show up at the boarding bridge, let alone informing people about their delay. The behavior of the groud crew was an embarrassment."

Baggage drop Tukholmassa oli vaikeaa löytää. Terminaali 5 on sekava remontin takia, siksi ohjeistus/kyltitys pitäisi selkeyttää. Lyhyellä lennolla on typerää tarjoilla mitään. Finnairin mustikkamehuinnostus on outo: se on roiskuessaan tahraavaa nestettä, jonka jakaminen ahtaasti istuville matkustajille on täysin turhaa. Vesi riittää, jos sitä on erikseen tarjottava 45 minuutin matkalla.
Koneen tarjoilun hinnat olivat kalliita
Sopiva lämpötila, tilava economy ja leffojen lisäksi myös sarjoja. Ruoka oli ihan ok, eikä tietysti voi miellyttää kaikkia.

Koneeseen pakkautumista voisi järkevöittää, esim. rivi tai muutama kerrallaan, jottei syntyisi ryntäylyä ja hässäkkää.
Check in Pariisissa oli vanhanaikasta. Jos on matkatavara menossa rumaan, tai haluaa boardingpassi paperiversiona joutuu odottamaan että check in avautuu.
Henkilökunta oli ihan ystävällistä. Koneeseennousu oli hidas. Tarjottavat ovat nolla-arvoisia, vain lasi vettä ilmaiseksi, ei ole toimiva konsepti ollenkaan.
Ostettiin lentolippu yhdessä, ei siis pitänyt olla epäselvää, että ollaan pariskunta. Meidät kuitenkin sijoitettiin istumaan koneessa kauas toisistamme. Pärjäämme toki itsenäisesti, mutta moinen homma vaikuttaa lähinnä kiusanteolta. Eikä suinkaan asiakaspalvelulta. Terveiset siis Finnairille tai muille, jotka olivat järkkäilleet istumapaikat.
Finnair siirsi lentomme vuorokaudella eteenpäin. Ilmoitus tuli tuntia ennen koneen lähtöä kun oli jo toimitettu matkalaukut koneeseen ja tultu turvatarkastuksesta läpi ja odoteltiin koneeseen nousua lähtöportilla. Hyvä, nopea lento, Hki lentoasemalla hyvä palvelu
Finnairilla hyvä henkilökunta, kaikki sujui tosi hienosti lennolla.
Lento aivan täynnä ja bourdauksessa ei mitään järjestystä. Tuntuu siltä, että Finnair sijoittaa pariskunnat erilleen ilman erillistä maksettua paikkavalintaa.
Premiere economy -luokkaan voisi kuulua ruoka
Tehokasta, mukavaa, uutta ja miellyttävää. Homma toimi. Hyvät unet!
Lento 3h myöhässä. Informaation kulku hidasta ja sekavaa.
Lähtöselvityksessä oli vain yksi henkilö, mikä ei vastannut lainkaan tarvetta, koska hän oli ERITTÄIN HIDAS - ja hieman tyly (?). Passeja hän pyöritteli todella kauan ja tavasi hitaasti kirjain kirjaimelta nimemme niistä ja vertaili kuvia meihin. Tuntui todella oudolta. Lisäksi tarranauhat taisivat loppua kesken ja hän joutui hakemaan niitä muualta. Meillä (kolmen hlön perhe) oli ainoastaan yksi laukku menossa ruumaan, mutta virkailija yllätti meidät vaatimalla myös käsimatkatavaramme ruumaan, koska tilaa olisi kuulemma liian vähän. Luonnollisesti olimme pakanneet kaiken säännösten mukaan ja tässä hässäkässä ruumaan joutui myös elektroniikka, jotka olimme jättäneet käsimatkatavaroihin. Virkailija ei huomannut kysyä asiasta, emmekä me kiireessä muistaneet sitä. Lisäksi jouduin todella vaatimalla vaatimaan, että sain yhden laukun käsimatkatavaroihin, koska sairastan diabetesta ja astmaa ja olin pakannut matkalla mahdollisesti tarvitsemani lääkkeet ko. laukkuun. Ehdin jo hieman hätääntyä asiasta, kunnes virkailija "armollisesti" tuli sen verran vastaan, että antoi minun valita yhden kolmesta laukustamme matkustamoon. Ymmärrän tilantarpeen, mutta olisi ollut todella järkevää kertoa jonossa odottaville etukäteen, että tällaista vaaditaan, jotta muutenkin todella tiukalla ollut ollut aika ei olisi kulunut turhaan säätämiseen turhautuneitten jonottajien odottaessa selän takana. Asian olisi mielestäni voinut myös hoitaa hieman kohteliaammin. Lisäksi huomasin koneessa, että hyvin harvan kohdalla oli vaadittu jättämään matkustamoon tarkoitettuja laukkuja ruumaan - ainakin lähes kaikilla oli yksi laukku/hlö mukana. Hämmentävää. Yllättävää kyllä kone pääsi kuitenkin lähtemään matkustajien puolesta ajallaan, vaikka jonottavat pitivät sitä mahdottomana. Lento sujui muuten hyvin, paitsi jalkatilat olivat todella surkeat verrattuna menomatkamme koneeseen.
Vähän myöhässä muuten kaikki sujui loistavasti
Kone oli kolme tuntia myöhässä.... Meitä pompoteltiin portilta toiselle. Ilmastointi oli olematon.
Lento myöhässä 9h ja lähtö seuraavan vuorokauden puolella. Ei mitään tietoa finnairilta kuinka toimitaan, miten yöpyminen hoidetaan, mitä korvataan jne. Surkea suoritus.
Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)
Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.

Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Check-in jonoa oli aamulennolla, mikä on pienellä lennolla ymmärrettävää. Kaikki muu toimi mainiosti.
Teneriffan matkaselvitys tosi hidas ja ruuhkainen
Henkilökunnan ystävällisyys oli hyvää, mutta pienille reittilennoille Suomen sisällä olisi mukavaa saada pikku suolaista.

Jokin ongelma saapuessa jolloin bussikuljetus ja kävely toisesta päästä kenttää… kangasmaski käskettiin vaihtaa kesken lennon vaikka osa oli ilman saapuessakin koneeseen Lentolippujen kaivaminen oli haastavaa,sitten keksin liittää finskin appiin

My wife and I were charged over $400 to check a single suitcase weighing 17kg. This is more than we paid for the flight. We will likely never fly Etihad again based on this alone. It’s the biggest scam I’ve ever witnessed in my 30 years of international travel.

(2) checked in, dropping off bags. Some of us who had checked in online was trying to drop off bags only. After waiting 1.5 hours, this line isn't moving at all, while the checking in line was moving. Tried telling the gentlemen in charge who worked there that the checked in line dropping off bagguage was not moving, he didn't really care, they made all kinds of excuses saying other people were waiting, so they were completely clueless as to what was going on. I have never experienced this ever and I fly massively each year. First and last time in Etihad. JFK to Abu Dhabi is a good 13 hour flight. NO SNACKS. SG/BA, or any other airline really has nice sandwishes, ramen, chocolate, cookies, chips. Etihad has NOTHING. Not that I snack but still with a 13 to 14 hour flight, airlines should have something to eat during long flights. Really. Etihad who brands and advertises brilliantly, was extremely disppointing to actually be on the flight."
Miinukset: "We lost an item and while we are in airport waiting for next flight even though we know it would have got recovered by airport staff there is no way of getting it back unless we download a form online , print , fill the form and sign , scan and send it in email to lost and found team. This is unlikely and complex process for anyone while in airport to get access to print, scan etc. we wish this was more simpler process Cabin was too cold and staff deny bluntly to make any adjustment saying some other set of passengers complained that cabin is warm.. I have not seen anyone who could sit around with out blanket on them and we had to get double blankets and wrap ourselves in there"
Miinukset: "One food option.. VEGETARIAN.. when asked the crew member as to why vegetarian only.. she said not sure, but may be because most of the passengers were vegetarians.. REALLY????? Also no ice with drinks.. because they didn’t have ice!!!! But apart from this, it was another quality Etihad flight. Just didn’t expect the above inconveniences from Etihad! This is the first time I experience this with them."

Miinukset: "- horrible crew, many crew members were just rude to many passengers. Often rolling their eye and making overt gestures to passenger questions - one crew member just threw the food tray down and it all spilled over another passenger - they also struggle with english and so is hard understanding both ways - abslote the worst food selection and quality in my experience. Better pack your own food from home"

Miinukset: "I had to check my hand carry sue to the weight of my bag. When I got my bag from baggage claim I noticed my zippers were opened slightly. When I inspected my bag I noticed that my vapor and my samsung S7 edge were both missing."

Plussat: "As I said, the crew and facility were pretty good. But the bad things really ruined the trip and pissed me off."
Miinukset: "First of all, I tried to purchase the on-plane WiFi. That didn't happen, as I was told there was an error in purchasing and I didn't end up getting any connection. Yet when I got off the plane, I realized that I was nevertheless charged for $12. This was definitely annoying, and they still haven't gotten back to me. Secondly, which is very frustrating and infuriating, was the fact that not only was my checked luggage delayed, they did not call me or reply to my emails with any useful information on my luggage's situation. To this date, I have no idea where it is, if it's lost or damaged, or when can they deliver it to me. I had all my clothes, my DSLR camera and gifts in my luggage, and I had to buy a bunch of stuff in the next few days because I didn't have those things. It has been more than a week, and they still haven't gotten back to me on anything. For this reason alone, I think they totally deserve a poor overall rating, especially because I chose them in the first place because I trusted their good ratings."

Plussat: "The crew were very understanding and tried to help as much as they could with the issues encountered. Many out of their control."
Miinukset: "This flight is one I have done a couple of times in the last year. This will be the last time doing it. It is basically a transit flight for people to get to India and the sub continent. The food is all curry based and as a westerner found it not to my taste, only having a curried vegetarian option as the meal “options” is unbelievable. The plane is jam packed which is fine, but the smell of some of the other passengers was horrendous. There must be a rule that passengers shower in the week leading up to the flight at least. My wife and I both had incidents of people pushing in front in every queue from boarding (lack of control by ground staff as random people joining First/Business/Gold line as moving first) to bathrooms (myself and two others waiting patiently before a woman pushed into bathroom before person even got out, then blocked our passage in to let her family member in), hitting us with bags when disembarking and then completely blocking walkways with no consideration for other passengers. We have now agreed that we will fly through any other city/route to avoid this terrible experience being repeated."
Plussat: "The airport customer service rescheduled us back to direct flight to Dallas. Our original flight. They helped us expediting boarding process in short time margin. Inside aircraft crew was good and efficient. Food was excellent."
Plussat: "Great all round experience - good flight, nice plane, comfortable and well equiped with lovely staff."
Plussat: "1) It was not a full flight which was a plus. 2) the flight attendants from Abu Dhabi to Dahka were very nice and helpful."

Plussat: "Very professional and accommodating crew on board. The Abu Dhabi lounge was large and looked very beautiful with it's appointments, but it was also packed with people (late time of day, I know), noisy with men pacing around shouting on their cell phone headsets, and I wasn't aware of the many services they had like the spa, no one informed me when I checked in. I understand this airport has a lot of business and first class travelers from all countries, but they need to better organize the lounge into designated "quiet areas" for people like me where cell phone use isn't permitted, family areas, where the kids can run around screaming unimpeded like they were, and also direct newcomers into areas where there are less passengers so you can find a place to sit & grab food without wandering around this cavernous place looking for a place of respite"
Miinukset: "The experience of transferring through the Abu Dhabi airport was a little hellish--very hot (I know it's the ME in summer), long lines, I was patted down in a cabin by a security office because of the underwires in my bra, which I was cool with, but my carry on luggage was kept outside the cabin area with my passport and money with people swarming through in lines. Not cool. I've probably never had an international transport experience like this, outside of Cuba where they pulled me aside and interrogated me by agents even though I had a visa and had documentation I was presenting at an education conference at the government state hotel, (and I'm Panamanian American, I speak Spanish, maybe that's why they though I was a scientist/spy). This airport definitely needs more basic staff and better organization. But I'd have to say this wasn't any worse-- other than the heat--- of any US or European transfer experience I've had in the last 10 years. Lounge staff in Abu Dhabi were kind of jerks compared to other airports, they were very stand offish (like they couldn't be bothered to help you, or maybe it was my Canadian/American accent)."

Plussat: "The food was delicious (there was lamb at multiple meals) and the flight attendants had everyone close the windows so as to help with the jet lag."
Miinukset: "I had a lot of issues with Etihad this trip. First, they changed our return date no less than 3 different times, one of them by more than 2 days. Then, they wouldn't allow us to pick up our checked luggage for our layover in Abu Dhabi because it was under 24 hours long. Unfortunately, while we made our connecting flight the next day, our luggage did not. We ended up spending 3 days without luggage, and ultimately went to the airport ourselves in order to make our tour."
Miinukset: "I couldn't sleep on the plane."
Plussat: "On time. Plane was clean. Security clearance was good."
Miinukset: "Food quantity and quality dropped to zero. Absolutely disappointed. I had travelled with etihad before. But this time I feel like not to travel with them again. In a 14 hour flight hardly one meal with 10 hour gap. Imagine if some one traveling with diabetic needs"
Plussat: "The crew was lovely and the food fitted our needs ."
Miinukset: "The only downside was that when I received my bag after my arrival to Dhaka my luggage was obviously opened and tape back up and I was missing a lot of things in my luggage . It was very upsetting because that has never happened to me before nor did I expect something like that to happen."

Miinukset: "The boarding and getting off the aircraft was mess and no proper arrangement for transportation at Abu Dhabi. The ground staff was not cordial enough."
Miinukset: "Rude staff, pressure on cabin too high. Plane too hot. Half hour late"
Plussat: "Loved the cabin crew, they were friendly, helpful and attentive despite a very long journey from Chicago to Islamabad."
Miinukset: "One piece of luggage was is banged up that there is a large dent and the handle no longer closes...unfortunately one of the best peices of luggage. Limited staff for such a filled flight, despite their best efforts service suffered. Need a seperate section for families with children. Face mask might be offered to passangers who coughed much of the journey causing concern about sharing germs in air that is already still. Food and toilet areas were smelly towards end of flight."
Plussat: "I sat in the aisle seat so it was fairly roomy. The movies selection was very good."
Miinukset: "The Air Hostess was fairly rude to one particular passenger. Given that that passenger was fairly aggressive in asking for children kits, and the Air Hostess was doing her best to inform her that she has to give them all to the children first. Unfortunately it was very condescending the way she talked to the said lady. I felt that it could have been handle better. The guy next to me, his On Flight entertainment wasn't working. i felt bad for him."
