Miinukset: "I had a 12 hour layover in Istanbul. The hotel was great and I appreciated the good food and rest. However, it took nearly an hour each way to the hotel. I think it would be great if Istanbul airways cooperated with the Yotel so transit passengers could stay in the airport. They helped me to get a visa and they say it will be reimbursed, but all of those things took time when I was so exhausted after a long flight. Overall, it was wonderful to have that opportunity to rest and shower on a long wait, but it would be even better if it was closer and it was clear ahead of time that a visa would be needed."

Miinukset: "The plane was late to fly. All the passengers were in, and we were ready to take off, but we kept sitting still for 30 minutes for no reason. Though the plane was not late at the end, as we landed on time."

Miinukset: "I attempted to cancel this flight and arrange to use the same route within a year, but when Oct 3 came, nothing had been done. I called as I had before to Justfly and was then told that I had to use the ticket by the date I purchased it (3/26) . I should have just done nothing as when I cancelled the ticket, it cost me another $100l. I will not use Justfly again. I am out more than $1000."
Miinukset: "Flight delayed more then an hour without anyone knowing anything about it."
Plussat: "On the plus side, the food, service, entertainment, and comfort on Turkish are the best of any Economy class overseas flights. For that reason, they are my top pick."
Miinukset: "I can't understand why I was booked with an impossibly tight connection. It's a huge airport, with multiple security checkpoints with long lines. I had an hour between flights, and the first flight landed just five minutes late. The gate for the second flight had already closed by the time I cleared the first security checkpoint. It would have been completely impossible to make it to the gate on time. Turkish put me up in a hotel, etc., for the night, and there were dozens of people in similar situations. But the airline shouldn't offer connections that are totally impossible."
Plussat: "Beautiful and clean plane. Great service. Excellent seats that become beds with sheets and full pillows and warm covers. The food selection is great and tasty."

Miinukset: "The Istanbul airport is very large and there are many people. The signage is generally pretty good, but it was confusing getting off the airplane from Berlin and seeing a sign saying something like " foreigners." I waited in that very long line for at least 30 minutes which ate up most of my layover time. Only to find out that it was for people with visas coming into Turley. I was directed to another, poorly marked, line for people transferring planes."

Plussat: "I saw their Ad in their inflight magazine, didn't know they were rated #1 6 years in a row. Was pleasantly surprised on how good they were. Comfortable seats, excellent on board service, food better than average, pleasant and professional staff. Try them, you won't be disappointed"
Plussat: "The crew member that was in my area was really nasty, all the other ones where great! They had to cover for her ... she did a very bad job ."
Miinukset: "The pasta was hard , looked like cardboard. My daughters could not eat , they ordered that and by the time we had a chance to let them know it was not possible to eat , they run out of other option. The next meal was pasta again , no other option ... so they where not able to eat the whole 12 hours flight."

Miinukset: "The only issue I had was the WIFI. I was unsuccessful in logging on after a couple of hours and a million attempts. Trying everything but was unable to get my a lot of work done, so it was unproductive time for me."

Plussat: "I had a really long lay over and got a free hotel. None of the airline personal will help you find the hotel desk you need to get to, but if you keep asking around you'll find it eventually(in arrivals next to the starbucks). Shuttle service to and from the hotel. The hotel was fine(I mean not great but it was descent)."
Miinukset: "The flight attendants aren't super nice and if they don't understand you they kinda just move on. So that was sort of annoying."

Miinukset: "I wanted to cancel my flight on Turkish as I was concerned about safety after the terrible attack there at IST. I was told that TK were changing tickets and issuing refunds for a period of 7 days after the attack - and I was scheduled to fly on day 8. They refused to refund or change - all they would say are 'fare fules' - 'fare rules'. When I passenger has a concern over personal safety, and in the aftermath of a large scale lapse in security at their main hub, they should be more understanding and not stand by their arbitrary 7 day rule."
Plussat: "I like everything regarding the airline."
Miinukset: "The airport was attacked by a terrorist and hour after I left to Skopje. I know the airline has nothing to do with it but they should pressure the airport to have more safety for the passengers or find an airport in another country that is safer like Macedonia or Bulgary. Just as a temporary thing while things become safer in Turkey. In other words, only stop in Turkey for people who is flying to that country. Connecting flights should stop somewhere else."
Miinukset: "We called Turkish Air and chose our seats. They changed our assignment to inside seats. No notification."
Plussat: "Thank you for managing wheelchair assistance at Istanbul."
Miinukset: "We had at Boston Checkin gates for a wheelchair for 30 minutes. We gave up and my parents had to walk to the gate."

Miinukset: "From Istanbul to Karachi turkish used old plane - In business class there is a major difference in seats and all other things as compared to newer planes. On their website at the time of sale they show the newer plane and its business class. SO overall did not felt right due to older style seats- However staff was still very courteous and pleasant"

Plussat: "The aircraft (operating the route due to the COVID-19 shortage in traffic between the two cities) was extremely nice and quite/comfortable. The service was better than expected, as I didn't expect food to be served on dishes like it was during the pandemic. But it was amazing!"
Miinukset: "The crew didn't have their masks on sometimes when coming back into the cabin as they simply forgot (the new norm is hard to get used to) so maybe the airline can stress the mandatory use of face masks at ALL times. Furthermore, for my comfort of the flight (with COVID) the FA's should use gloves"

Plussat: "Despite the short flight we were still given food and as always I love airline food. Free alcohol is always a bonus as well! Nice crew and timely take offs and landings. Could bring two hand luggage (backpack and suitcase) which I like even though I didn't have to pay extra!"

Miinukset: "Notoriously, on several flights I have recently taken, my economy seats do not recline at all. On long distance flights this is very uncomfortable! And on this flight from Frankfurt to NYC, my bag was lost, making a claim at the Lufthansa baggage dept took a very long time and the clerk said little, explained nothing and seemed annoyed with my questions."

Miinukset: "Their ability to work with you on issues such as lost bag is so disgusting that i dont think ill fly with them again I had to call them every time, consistently on hold for 30+ min at a time just to get to someone who could work with me. They hung up on me 3 separate times thus restsrting the issue. DO NOT LET THEM GIVE YOUR BAG TO BAGGAGEEXPRESS!!! You will never see you bag again. 1/10 customer service"
Plussat: "Service is good, you actually get food and drinks, thanks for that."
Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Plussat: "Best trip and crew that i ever had"
Plussat: "The flight crew was exceptional in handling a medical emergency on the flight."
Miinukset: "Lufthansa bumped us from our preassigned seats. We purchased our tickets five months in advance to ensure our family would sit together. When we arrived, they had our family of five sitting in three different rows. Two of our young children had to sit alone, eight rows away from the nearest parent. After telling them we would not board sitting apart like that, they moved us closer together but still separate from two of our children. Highly disappointed."

Miinukset: "you had to pay $35 ahead of time just to select your seats...they only allow 1 checked bag, half the flight was empty in eco plus but they still wanted you to pay to "upgrade", integration with UAL is cumbersome and difficult as you cant manage both legs of a UAL/LH flight from one carrier. Overall mediocre but hey - Cheap fares, you get what you pay for."

Miinukset: "The person sitting next to me on my right side was disrespectful and putting his head and legs up on my seat even after I told him not to do that and even spoke with the flight attendant. I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and the way it was managed by just telling him not to do that. I asked for a different seat but wasn't moved. For the price I paid for the seat and his behavior of taking up my spot and the empty spot in between us (he took up 2 chairs because he was laying down to sleep) I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during the flight."

"I flew business class. But nothing compare to business class. Lounge closed in Vienna. Not exist at all in Tel Aviv. Priority boarding not exist in Tel Aviv despite available business counter. Nobody in front of me was checked in to Business or with Senator status. No welcome drinks. All overall awful experience."

Plussat: "It's just normal seats with the middle seat blocked for Business class. It's not a true Business class seat by any definition. There is no entertainment system for this flight. I would choose to fly economy for this leg, if given the option as there is no added value to the Business class."

Miinukset: "We booked Austrian Airlines to Kosice for 6 to play a concert for 3,000 on Thursday night. 4 of our group arrived from ZRH; 2 from LHR. LHR-VIE was late; we ran and arrived in time catch VIE-KSC before it left, but Austrian Air would not allow us to board, despite that the other part of our travel party was already on the plane and alerted both gate staff and on-board staff we were coming and wee had to play a show that night with Arch Enemy. We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

Miinukset: "The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

Miinukset: "Staff at service desk -unprofessionalism, never on time. Charged 3 times for infant ticket because of computer errors but lack of human factor explaining why, just completely horrible explanations."
Miinukset: "I have the 'Economy Class' on the tickets. At check-in at the airport we wrote "economy light" on the boarding pass and want to pay for the first baggage. I check it on the original receipt I received by e-mail, there is ECONOMY CLASS and 1st baggage free of charge, another for a fee. So I do not understand and for two tickets I have paid 2 x 30 €."

The time between flights was not enough 55 mins as the gate closed 20 mins before departure and it takes at least 15 minutes from arrival to taxi to the terminal and then get off the plane. I had to change from terminal F to E which was well sign posted but I only made it with 4 minutes to spare"

Flight attendant could have not treated my son as he way he did. I was unaware that the usb cord being inputted during taxiing As was my son. He was horrible to him!!"

Plussat: "SFO - CDG (Air France) was a great journey in all respects. But the one major reason for that was, the middle seat was empty. I was so fresh after the journey, would definitely recommend this flight to anyone."

Miinukset: "The food was not heat correctly it was cold and I felt that the crew rush to give out the food. The seats are terrible, if the person in front of you reclines you won’t be able to see the screen if your watching a movie and you will see the top of the persons head."

This one was 50 minutes late departing."

Miinukset: "Premium economy seats do not recline, only slouch. One of our 2 seats wouldn't slouch more than half way. The entertainment options are extremely sparse and the screens are 4:3 ratio, tiny, and of such poor quality that they look like laptop monitors from 1999."

For a French airline I was looking forward to breakfast -- maybe some nice pastries or at least a decent croissant with jam. None such. It was disappointing. Meals were not impressive either, but the complimentary wine was good."

Plussat: "Seats were comfortable, but the sliding action, instead of recline, took getting used to. Food was very good. Snacks available on demand, along with drinks. Complimentary wine with meal was also quite good. Entertainment system was first rate with plenty of options for TV. movies, music, games, etc..."
Miinukset: "Sitting in the middle two seats in the center of the 777 left me stuck for most of the flight. Got up only once. Wife's feet and ankles were swollen by the end of the flight. Not enough legroom to move much during the flight and not enough aisle space to get around with the plane so full. Have made flights twice as long on the 747 and were able to get up and walk."
Plussat: "Other crew members were very polite to us, in particular a younger tall woman."
Miinukset: "2 crew members, one named Terri were quite rude and short with us. I even heard her say she was ready to get off the flight. She also asked everyone around me if they liked their flight but did not ask me. She basically threw my coffee condiments at me and dismissed my concerns about the food. I was unsure if the fruit was expired and she quickly dismissed my question without any real explanation."
Plussat: "I like that they still feed you and provide alcohol for free, even on a 40 min flight (unlike BA)."
Miinukset: "At one point during the flight I took a video out of my window with my camera, a member of the cabin crew barked at me in French. In bewilderment I asked her in English to repeat herself and she sarcastically repeated what she had said, in French, I asked for her to speak in English (which she had done to me previously on this Paris to London flight) yet again she scolded me in French. I was left absolutely none the wiser and it left a bad taste in my mouth."

Miinukset: "Airport handling is catastrophic. A lost bagage created the twins to be locked. Half an hour and we could not enter. Delays and huge mess in front of police checkpoint. No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Plussat: "The crew was well trained, kind and receptive. The pilot managed to drive through a storm and even arrive 10 minutes faster after leaving 5 minutes late."
Miinukset: "Passengers traveling with pets took our reserved seats. The places for our baggages were occupied. When addressing this issue, we were told to move further ahead to empty seats. There was no meal included, and the one we purchased could not be paid by POS."

Miinukset: "I was unable to check n online (although the process was intitated well earlier than 12 hours prior to departure). The system charged y credit card for a seat reservation and then crashed with an error, both on my phone and laptop browser. When I called at 9:00 am (when their offices are open) to ask for help with what happened, I received no answer other than, "the check in system has just closed. I am unable to help you in any way". I booked another flight with another carrier, and did not take this flight., not do I plan to book with them in the future That being said, it is not the job of the employee to defend a poorly working system. Services need upgrade asap."

Plussat: "The added touches make all the difference! We didn’t expect free food and was delighted to receive breakfast. The chairs were much more comfortable than any other plane I’ve been on due to the adjustable head rest, and as a regular flyer to Cyprus, this made a difference. The sweets served just before landing is an excellent idea and something that we do need due to our ears, so this was appreciated. staff were attentive and pleasant."

Miinukset: "Dusseldorf to Warsaw: Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight out of Dusseldorf (about an hour) - Just before landing, pilot announced all connections would be made - (and even mentioned chicago) - Connecting flight was gone when I arrived at gate, and I was quick in getting to gate from prior flight - next flight caused 5 hour layover in Warsaw Warsaw to Chicago Boarding terrible including assistance and messaging. - Boarding chaos - Late flight our ot Warsaw (about an hour) - no messaging at gate about reason for delay - kept increasing departure by 5 minute increments; started at 16:40 ended 17:05 (I beleive) - once boarding was complete, pilot said delay was due to wait for connections (boarding was an hour and 15 minutes late). Very frustrated"

Miinukset: "7hour delayin onnecting flight! Seats on plane torn and very uncomfortable, meal booked but no food available."
Miinukset: "Flight was rescheduled for 3 hours later than original departure. Check in opened less than two hours before the rescheduled flight time so everyone was stuck waiting at check-in for hours. We couldnt even go in and relax inside at restaurants or the gate because online check in wasnt available. Then the flight was further delayed with no news about when the new take off would be or why the delay. Finally boarded a tiny plane that had propellers and a loud take off, if you easily fright on planes probably not the best choice for you. And then someone started smoking on the flight and the attendants had to announce again that smoking wasnt allowed. On and off throughout the flight it smelled like someone was smoking so I wonder if it was even coming from the cockpit."

Miinukset: "Bag drop off was terrible and stressful. We arrived 2.5 Hours early to drop the ONE suitcase and have brunch. We queued for 1.5 Hours to then be blocked as all six counters were given over to another flight and people who arrived LATER then us for our flight got to go first. It was incredibly stressful and frustrating especially when I checked in online before arriving at the airport. We had to rush and run through the airport and board at final call. In fact it would put me off flying with Blue Air again."

They even told us difinitively that we would board at a certain time only for us to actually board nearly 2 hours later. They, without a doubt, knew the rescheduled flight time but strung us on anyway - I believe this was so they could save money on hotels"
