About Covid. The thing is that you cannot submit it unless you as a passenger fill out an Austrian address. The electronic form does not have the option to rule out staying in Austria and indicating that you are transiting in Vienna. I had to fill that form out (at the Address in Austria section) with sentences like “not applicable” “transitting” and also had to google the Vienna Airport address for the zip code so it could be submitted. The form forced me to fool the it. Not cool. Frustrating."

Food isn't great, but no airline food is really great. Boarding was significantly delayed from what it said on the boarding pass, with no updates. But we arrived on time. Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

The airline ran late and I almost missed this connecting flight to LGW. The airline didn't act very sympathetic to my situation. I wished that didn't happen as my experience I'm sure would've been much different.

Being crammed into a tiny seat with a bunch of strangers is never pleasant. Same in this flight. Nothing terrible, just the usual. Also, to the other passengers, sit down until it’s your turn to exit. What is wrong with you that you can’t sit five more minutes? Be polite and let the people in front of you go first, let them have room to grab their bags instead of having your elbows in their face."

Miinukset: "There are no queues. A free for all to load and unload the plane. If you are looking for Swiss order, look elsewhere. Nothing is free, not water (1.5 euro) or any other beverages or anything else. We paid double what the flight should cost to not even be offered water. The seats were lightly padded to maximize seats. There was a small amount of leg room but some. No power outlets, wifi or media. The worst aspect is I bought a flight on Baltic Air from Tallinn to Riga and had the price from Riga to Paris on the next tab on kayak. I bought the ticket from Tallin to Riga then flipped to buy Riga to Paris only to learn it was a bait price. The price was actually $200 more. Baltic would not refund the first flight (within minutes) so we were stuck to either walk away from our 2 tickets to Riga or pay the bait and switch rate. We begrudgingly paid 400 (200 each) euro MORE than the initial price shown so we could fly out of Riga back to Paris (to be back in Paris by Jan 7). A non alcoholic beverage, a small snack, and power access would be helpful. Ground crew helping with order would be helpful. I was shoved and run over trying to get onto and off the plane. It is the wild west of flying except the plane is new...oh, and it is 30 euro if you do not check in online ahead. But you will still need to stand in line to check a bag (where they can issue you a boarding pass)."

That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"

I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

Miinukset: "it was announce a delay of 1h which in the end it was 3hours without any further announcements... they offer vouchers for drinks and food but they did not announce accordingly, I found out only when I was boarding..."
Miinukset: "There was only 1 polite cabin crew member. People were shouting and walking all around the plane through out the flight and the cabin crew did nothing to stop this. It made the early morning flight impossible to doze off on."
Plussat: "Smooth flight (thank the weather Gods)."
Miinukset: "Extra fee for a boarding pass, extra fee for pre-paid checked bags, total confusion @ check-in. RyanAir blows."

Miinukset: "I was already checked in and when I got to the counter they told me that I was not checked in even though I had my boarding passes printed. Almost lost he plane. They lost my luggage’s and very very very bad customer service. Would not recommend it."
Miinukset: "The person at the gate during the boarding was rude and unethical. I was asked to place the suitcase in the special cage to measure it and despite the fact that it fit the lady asked me to send it as cargo and pay. I had to call a supervisor to show him it fits. Even so the lady argued about. I have taken a picture and threaten to sue the company for harassment and unfair business practice. Jack Dauber"
Miinukset: "Bought the 2 bag priority but they forced us to check one of the bags any way (on the way back we were able to bring bag on flight so it was nothing to do with size of the wheels as they suggested) - staff was unfriendly. Seats were dirty. Had to pay extra for checking in early to my return flight since I am not EU/EEA citizen and can't use mobile app and wouldn't have a chance to print my return boarding pass - and although according to the plane plan I chose a window seat my seat had now window. Never again."
Miinukset: "Excessive time to pass security, opening every bags, we were 30 passengers not able to board because Ryan Air agent didn’t wait and closed the door right in front of us when we arrived at the gate."
Miinukset: "they forced me to check in my small han luggage even though i would have put it under my seat which does not disturb anybody and wors with every other airline. + 1h delay without information. result: I was home at 1am in the morning instead of 11h30."

Miinukset: "U get what u paid for. Check in is slow and only 2 counters are working. During the flight they will try everything to pull money from you. Seats are fixed to one back position."
Plussat: "The smooth landing."
Miinukset: "The tray tables sloped downwards making everything fall on to your lap. No storage under tray tables. No room for legs. Just a joke. Boarding took ages on tarmac. Staff were casual at best."
Plussat: "The seats are roomy enough. The plane was very clean although it had just landed before."
Miinukset: "The flight was already late when we boarded. Even so, everyone on the plane was switching places between themselves causing additional chaos, with the flight attendants’ approval."
Plussat: "Flight landed 15 min early which was great but that's only because a lot of people have been complaining about their delays so they had to make it up in some way. I had to pay $50 for my luggage bc Ryanair believes that when you fly you should be empty handed. Smart crew we got going..."
Plussat: "First off, my airfare was less than the train fare from the airport into the city. THAT is unreal! And my flight wasn't cancelled (bonus!). Checked in online and was a bit worried that I only had my boarding pass on my phone rather than printed - turned out NOT a problem. Full flight, but boarding was a breeze. I had two carry on bags (not a problem) and no check in bags (recommended, but cannot comment on baggage handling). Crew was friendly and professional. Passengers all seemed content. It was a short flight, so I didn't bother with any of the in-flight service, which they charge for. All-in-all, no complaints whatsoever."

Miinukset: "I don't like the fact that you have to pay to sit with your companions. As a protest for this I refuse to buy any food or drink on the flight."
Miinukset: "As far as I am concerned, Ryan air is a scam, they are not the cheap airline they profess to be after all there bullshit charges and fees they become one of the most expensive ever. For one thing there luggage weight allowance is 3 to 4 kg less than any other airline, plus a $40.00 fee. Then because they didn't email my boarding passes as promised I was fined $50.00 per pass to have then print them (x4). I won't say never but it WILL be a cold day in hell before I ever fly Ryan Air again!!!"

Plussat: "The attention when checking in in the counter was great. Also at the gate. The gate had no services other than bathrooms. The plane was confortable and the flight was uneventful. they offered food in the plane but I fall sleep and could not buy it on time."
Miinukset: "you can not buy food or drinks close to the gate and you do not know that when is your first flight with them. We had to walk a lot when we checked in and when we arrived. You have to be prepared for than and not carry heavy stuff."
Plussat: "Nice staff"
Miinukset: "I was charged extra for insurance even though I didn't buy it. This feels like a trick. No soap in bathroom"
Miinukset: "Our Ryanair flight was delayed due to engine trouble. However no one ever made formal announcement or updates about the progress. Every 2 hrs we heard through word of mouth that the plane was still not ready. After waiting 8 hrs in the airport terminal, they finally brought a new plane for us. Many people missed connecting flights and the airlines was no help. It was an extremely frustrating situation. By far the worst flying experience I've had."

Miinukset: "Awful experience. Could not print boarding passes online and tried to pull them up at the airport, but there was no internet connection. Staff was incredibly rude and tried to make us pay $50 to print on site. Finally downloaded the passes (which, by the way, we had to obtain at least 24 hrs in advance - an easy email to miss). "Priority boarding" (also paid extra for) was a joke. Everyone had to get on a bus to arrive at the plane, and no order was kept, so it was basically a free-for-all to board the plane (lots of flying elbows). As a result, the overhead space by our seats (second row) was filled and we had to put our bags much further back (again defeating the purpose of "priority boarding"). Upon arrival to our destination, there was zero indication that our checked bag would be at completely different terminal. It took going through lost and found and 2 information folks to find the correct baggage claim area (and another go through security). All in all, a terrible experience. Not worth the extra $$ we may have saved. AVOID!!!"
Plussat: "The cabin crew seemed prepared enough to host redneck passengers and other species that often choose traveling low cost (of course)."
Miinukset: "I purchased priority boarding for nothing. There was no such thing at the gate. Boarding was chaotic."
Plussat: "although the crew had to make an unscheduled flight, they were very nice"
Miinukset: "the airplane had a technical issue (they told us it had a flat tire during landing) but they didn't manage to change the wheel and we had more than 4 hours delay. We had to wait for another plane to land in Timisoara (from London) and they scheduled that plane to take us to Bucharest. They should be honest from the beginning instead of telling a lot of lies - it may avoid a lot of conflicts between passengers and crew."
Plussat: "Ryanair is charging passengers 45 € if no make online check in !!!!"
Plussat: "The briefness of the flight"
Miinukset: "The plane smelled a bit musty and of urine- almost like that of an old folks home. The crew wasn't that pleasant either. Glad it was a short flight."
Plussat: "Cleanliness, polite crew, on time departure and landing. Good price."
Miinukset: "Priority boarding line....weird spit behind columns @ the gate, like we were hiding... uncomfortable spot, no chair / bench to sit for elderly passengers."

Plussat: "Cheap fair"
Miinukset: "At gate they removed our handbags with checked baggage because no space is available inside. But when we boarded more than half of the overhead storage was empty! This was a 45min trip and this attitude costed us another 1h wait time in the airport because we had to move and wait for the bags at the baggage claim area etc... total waste of time"
Plussat: "Crew on plane were nice"
Miinukset: "Flight was hour and 20 minutes delayed with no communication of why. I was stuck in an underground hallway with other passengers that whole time. Paid extra to catch this earlier flight and because of delay I still missed my plans in Rome. Seats are squished together. Absolutely no room. Nothing was complimentary and food we purchased was gross. Will never fly Ryanair again!"

Miinukset: "Advertised Price is a facade.... Too many add-on prices once you get to the airport. no thanks.. never again. I will tell a freind! They are super expensive! I think they charged me for my oxygen in the airport and on board! ...RIP OFF AIRLINE!"
Miinukset: "Me and my colleague were obligated to pay a 45,00 euro fee per person for not doing the check in online. This was our first and last time flying with Ryanair. I was in vacation for the last week before the flight and did not have any internet/mobile access (no internet and no mobiles for vacation). At the check in the operator told us to pay a 45,00 euro fee for not doing the check in online. I appologize but no more Ryanair for me and all of family, friends and acquaintances."
