Miinukset: "We flew out of Newark (EWR), and the flight gate was NOT posted on any of the flight departure boards, there was no Icelandair counter to ask for that information (staff had left, as we arrived there shortly after 1 hour prior to departure, so there was no longer even a sign saying Icelandair on it), there were no Icelandair staff or crew to ask, and each and every airport personnel we asked (such as visitor information and security) either did not know or gave us incorrect information. The gate information was not given on our boarding passes, and even Google did not know the gate number! Although we should have had plenty of time, we ended up having to cut through the security line to make it, and even then we came fairly close to missing the flight. I would be very reluctant to ever use Icelandair again, even though I did like the price for the cost of the flight and the flight itself was fine."
Miinukset: "Plane was at full capacity and at least an hour prior to landing flushing of toilets was no longer possible due to tanks being full. It was a 3 hour flight! Not acceptable!"
Plussat: "You’re going for no frills. Competitive pricing maybe but consider baggage situation first. We went transatlantic and paid for a bag using economy light fare to make it work. Only needed one checked bag. Kids even in economy light get a free meal. Cabin is ok."
Miinukset: "Witnessed many customers checking in who thought a bag was included. Entertainment is ok but screens have limited kid activities. Each leg of my flight took off 15-20 min late easily. Overall this wasn’t bad as it was made up in-air. Except one layover was only an hour, And cut it a bit close clearing passport control and traveling with two kids. No time to even see Kaflavik or pick up food or drinks. We ran to the final boarding call after clearing passport control. Also not good was that they don’t offer gate check on strollers. On a departure, you can use your stroller all the way up to the gate, but you get it back with any checked baggage at baggage claim, so you won’t have a stroller for layovers in Keflavík or clearing customs on either end. That was a pain."

Miinukset: "Booked a mid day flight 9 months in advance to avoid a red eye flight. Flight changed 3 times during the 9 months, to a red eye flight. We ended up losing one day of vacation time and the cost of the room due to the delay. Due to flight change seat selection was altered and pre-flight check in could not be done. This results in each bag costing $70 instead of $50 if done on-line. The check in at both locations was unlike any other airline and just an overall disappointment. The next time I travel to that beautiful country I will try WOW Airlines instead. It can't be any worse."

Very disappointed if i can help it i will not fly with them again. This is the 3 straight year i have so seems like we are being forced to go with them to get a decent flight price."

Miinukset: "This is a low cost airline, so don't expect much. Saga class which is sold as business is nowhere close to business class. The seats are the same as first class on domestic US airlines and recline only a little. The airport in Iceland is horrible, completely congested, expect long lines, no priority lanes, missing your flight and nobody cares. I will not be flying this airline again."

Miinukset: "The boarding makes no sense. If you let people board from 2 ends of your plane, you should at least tell rows 1-20 to go to that door and 21- 35 go to the other. Since that's not done, mayhem ensues. The whole no free food thing is ridiculous but I will either fly a different airline (Lufthansa) or bring my own food. Also the entertainment is what you see on TV in the USA, there are no new movies AND the content is the same east and West bound."
Plussat: "Crew was very professional and responsive to a difficult weather situation at the airport in Reykjavik."
Miinukset: "Admittedly this is something of an airport issue more than an airline issue, however considering Icelandair is one of the few airlines servicing the airport in Reykjavik there has to be some level of coordination going on between the two entities. Regardless, 5 different US-bound flights were all scheduled to leave within 15 minutes of each other in the same small corner of the Reykjavik airport, so when delays started coming in due to weather that area became an extremely congested mess. Perhaps its a cultural norm in Iceland to just remain silent in times of mini-crisis, but the desk attendants made no effort to communicate what was going on to the hundreds of people crammed in atop one another in the waiting area. This led to a lot of frustration from the waiting travelers. Both of these problems could have been prevented by better planning (not scheduling all outbound flights happening in a quarter hour's time into the same small corner of the airport) and better communication from the airline staff, the lack of which really aggravated a difficult situation for the people there. Once on the flight, though, everything went very smoothly, and the flight crew was quite apologetic and professional."

Due to extra security measures at the gate, we did not have time to get enough food in the terminal to bring on board with us so needed to order a sandwich and drink. The on screen food order system did not work, and it was difficult to know when we could request food."

Miinukset: "WiFi didn’t work. Seats were ridiculously small but it got me to Paris safe and sound, and that’s what matters most."

Miinukset: "Iberia was unable to ticket us all the way through to our final destination when we checked-in at our origin (Faro). We then had to go through an arduous process to get handwritten boarding passes in Madrid. This put us at the end of the line for boarding. Then the gate agent refused to let us board because the boarding passes Iberia customer service wrote and stamped didn’t have ticket # on ithem. The gate agent made it clear that it was all on me to go back to the agent at customer service to get it addressed and make it back in-time. The other passenger was my 80 year old mother who a I had to leave unaccompanied at the gate so i’d have some chance of running across the terminal and making it back in-time, which fortunately I did. The complete lack of interest in helping or even acknowledging that this was their mistake is the reason why I will never fly Iberia again."

Plussat: "This trip would have been another good experience for me flying with Iberia if it wasn't for the man that was sitting behind me. He didn't want me to recline my seat because he wanted to cross his legs... I told him that the guy in front of me had his seat reclined all the way and I wanted (sort of needed) to do the same, then he got aggressive with verbal abuse, called me names and he punched my seat. So I called the flight attendant and told her about the incident. She was nice and calm and told the man in a very respectful way that I wasn't doing anything wrong and he should not behave in an aggressive manner, etc. The man kept mumbling insults addressed to me while talking to his wife and making sure I was hearing it.... And he kept kicking my seat every now and then, and made a fuss every time he went to the toilet. He really ruined my flight experience to New York."

Miinukset: "Airline personnel were not helpful and seemed annoyed when asked questions about a very tight connection I was trying to make in Madrid. They brushed off my questions with one word answers and then it turned out that we were 10 minutes late arriving and I missed my connection. The customer service people who were supposed to re-book me, actually tried to blame me for missing the connection! Overall, not a great experience -- very inefficient process with no one at the airline taking responsibility. Won't fly again if I have the choice."

Miinukset: "Take off was delayed for six hours and Iberia's representative in Madrid told me me missing my train to Valencia is not their problem and Iberia will not reimburse me for the train nor the Iberia flight I had to take to get to Valencia. I've been an Iberia's customer for many years. Horrible customer service and poor airline service. Shame"
Plussat: "The in flight movie selection was great. They were generous with providing us wine and complementary in flight entertainment . Didn't have to pay extra to check our bags."
Miinukset: "The food wasn't very good. But at least they provided us with some. We paid extra foe exit row seats and they allowed someone to sir across from my husband in the flight attendant seat they use during landing and take off. He sat there the entire flight. He was tall with long legs and took away from my husbands leg room which is why we paid extra for the exit row seats. Not sure if he worked for the airline as he was dressed in regular street clothes but annoying all the same."

A large crowd was allowed to clog gate access, and no announcements were made regarding boarding procedures therefore as a preboarding family with toddler we had to push through the crowd to accessential the gate. Plussat: "Not a full flight so I had to seats to speak out. Flight attendants were friendly and it didn't seem like a 10+ hour flight."

Plussat: "The flight attendants are rude, the food is disgusting, and their customer service is non existent. My husband left his iPad on the plane, and realized as soon as we stepped off, but they refused to let us retrieve it. Instead, they went us through this ridiculous online process, where they determined they found the iPad, but "rejected our request to have it returned"!!!!!! The absolute worst!!"

Miinukset: "Check in gave my wife 2 seats on Madrid to Dusseldorf flight plus 1 for myself. On connecting flight from Dusseldorf to San Francisco she only gave a boarding pass to my wife so we had to scramble when we got to Dusseldorf to have AirBerlin resolve the issue."
Plussat: "Very uncomfortable seat from Iberia Airline.The cushion was almost down to spring. Need to upgrade. Crew are not very helpful. Service is not good. Specially at the Airport, speaking English is very bad. I need an assistance to request for PRM ASSISTANCE for wheel chair, I don't believe that he don't speak English at all, Why would he be in that position. It should have bilingual person. I'm sure whether he pretend too I have walk back & forth to get help for information to have it translate to Spanish. All He does is make priority to all local people, it took one hour to get the wheel chair & then by transfer to intl national airport by bus took another hour, we check in @ 8:30AM by the time we get into the terminal was 12:30PM the flight leave 2 12:45PM. What a service. I will never ever flight with Iberia Airline. What a BAD service. Communication by itself is very very bad, the airline crew hardly can speak English. We have 6 people. We will definitely not recommend Iberia Airline. Thank you."

Miinukset: "Many passengers luggage and mine did not arrive. Had to wait over 8 hours to recieve it."
Miinukset: "This was American Airlines, not Iberia. Flight was supposed to leave at 9:45 pm but was delayed to 10:30 pm. At around 10:45 the flight was delayed again. At around 11 we were told that our pilots were too tired to fly and two other pilots might fly us but we wouldn't know untill 12:30 am. At 12:45 am we were told the back up pilots refused the trip. American Airlines has no back up plan for this apparently and the flight was cancelled till 9:30 am the next day. It was 2:00 am before I received a hotel voucher. Overall terrible experience."

Miinukset: "We never had the option to reserve seats. Not sure if this was because we booked thru kayak or if it was the airline but this was a long flight and I would have paid(although not happily) to get to sit next to my husband. As it was, we both got center seats separated on the plane. Very inconvenient and very uncomfortable."
