Check in agent in Budapest was terribly rude and sent us off to the side to "go call united" because "there was something wrong with our ticket." He wouldn't explain what was wrong so we didn't know what to tell United. After standing in a corner for more than 30 mins, another agent offered to help us. It turns out the only problem was that we hadn't completed our check in online, (which we couldn't because the app would not let us input the correct expiration date for our passports) ...and he just didn't want to have to put our information in himself. We could have missed our flight because of his laziness!!! He was also the only person in the whole airport NOT wearing a mask.

Plussat: "The crew onboard the flight was very friendly and accommodating! They did their best with what they had. I also like that there were diabetic and vegetarian meals offered, although the diabetic meals should ideally focus on lower carbohydrate totals. Fruits and breads can pack just as much sugar as sweets."
Miinukset: "Starting with the boarding area at LAX, there was some really high pitched siren that kept going off over and over which no one seemed to care to investigate or do anything about. It was very irritating, and seemed to put lots of passengers in a bad mood before the plane even started boarding. Then when they announced boarding was beginning, everyone got up and created massed around creating four chaotic lines. It was a mess. We left 45 min late, which caused us to run to make our connecting flight because the person at the gate never told us it was also going to be leaving late. The plane itself was extremely uncomfortable as well. I'm 5'8" tall and that's mostly torso. I fit easily in the back seat of my buddy's mini Cooper, and I could barely fit in the space without my legs hitting the seat in front of me. That was before the guy in front of me put his seat back and made it so I could barely reach under my seat. Then there was the control panel for my personal video monitor. The panel was located on the armrest in just the right spot where Everytime I put my hand down I accidentally pressed a button to call the flight attendant, or turn the video screen on off, which was really obnoxious when I was trying to sleep and kept accidentally turning on the bright screen which woke me up. The video monitors we're also touch compatible, but the screen was horrible about registering finger presses which led to the lady in the seat behind me smashing the screen as hard as she could repeatedly with her finger, which vibrated all the was through my headrest so I could feel it as if she were trying to get my attention. There was also no air flow above the seats... You simply had to rely on the flight attendant to set a temperature that the whole cabin enjoyed, or you had to suffer silently. Finally, the reading lights on the plane we're so high up that turning one on lit up all the seats around you as well, which meant you had to choose to either sit in the dark and not read, or turn on your light and read quietly while the people around you cursed your name while attempting to get some rest."

Plussat: "We were warmly welcomed on board by the flight captain. I had not expected this. My wife has some physical challenges and received special treatment, in fact we were accorded priority in boarding as she had to temporarily use a wheel chair. Me and my daughter all enjoyed the privilege by association."
Miinukset: "My wife is diebetes, we had requested for a special diet but although this was documented on the air ticket, there was oversight and she had to make do with normal menu. Fortunately there was no adverse consequences."
Plussat: "The flight attendants were so friendly and helpful. The food was good...didn't even have to pay for food or wine. On-board entertainment was excellent. I would fly Lufthansa any time!"

I made it to the airport 2.5 hours before the flight to be safe and was told upon check-in that the flight was delayed for 3 hours, which then became 4 hours. I did not receive any communication from the airline. There were no explanations as to why our flight was delayed. Also, we were given 12 euro food voucher for each passenger. There was only one cafe in the area after security check and they did not accept the food voucher for actual food. They would only redeem our food vouchers for water, juice, sodas, desserts and, for some reason, only tuna sandwiches. A lot of passengers were visibly upset because the cafe only had one person on staff, the line was over an hour to order and then we were told it was not redeemable for sandwiches, salads, beer or wine. Also, the boarding process was chaotic and they did a poor job communicating which sections they were boarding and people started to form multiple lines. The in flight entertainment was pretty bad. Movies were very limited compare to other airlines. Overall, the whole experience was disastrous. I don't think I will be flying Norwegian again. I would rather pay a bit more for better service."

As we landed 1.5 hours late, the captain and crew asked people who didn’t have a transfer flight to remain seated while those of us needing to make it to our next leg were allowed to deboard first. That was thoughtful and helped me make my train with 10 minutes to spare!"

My partner and I were seated 15 rows apart, even though we bought our tickets together. I was seated in the very back row, were I could here the cabin crew in the kitchen, talking loudly and at times unprofessionally. No food or drinks unless you pay extra for it."

Then, when we boarded, it was packed full of people and we did not leave until after 1:00am, when it was scheduled to leave at 12:30am."

The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."

I paid as much for a "snack" of tiny side salad without any dressing & stale roll with one slice of ham & cheese as I paid for a magnificent American Thanksgiving Buffet at Raffles Hotel in Phnom Penh! Having flown 5 round-trips between JFK & Asia in the past year, This airline was the ONLY one to charge for baggage - all others provide 2 checked bags in or out of all their US flights. With baggage, meal & assorted charges, Norwegian one-way cost MORE than round-trip on any other airline. Deceptive advertising. General incompetence. NO service. And way more expensive than other airlines. I'm disgusted with Norwegian Airline beyond spitting."
Plussat: "For a 13 hour flight not even a glass of water was served. Yes, you can purchase, but most items got sold out in an hour. Wait until some travelers get deep vein thrombosis due to dehydration in a confined space."

Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("

Plussat: "The new airplane was very nice. The entertainment movie selections were amazing!"
Miinukset: "Our flight boarded late and took off late. Then, I had paid for two meals on my flight. When they came around and delivered food, they skipped me. I was the window seat so I politely waited for the people next to me to finish eating their meals before I asked them to get up. I went to the back of the plane and told the flight attendant. They apologized and said I was supposed to get one. They kindly allowed me to order snacks for free off of their menu. However, when the second meal came around, I was skipped again. I then had to alert the flight attendant again. I was surprised that they would forget my meal a second time."

Miinukset: "Lack of moblile check-in"
Miinukset: "Maintenance work caused major delays on my flight back to New York from London. The gate crew was misinformed as well as the main terminal agents as to how long the delay would be. The airport is extremely inefficient for this poor communication as every time we needed to get something we were forced to walk forever between the gate and the main terminal screens. Just a big mess all around. To top it off, we had turbulence coming into New York which made a nearby passenger sick so the flight smelled awful. This is my first and hopefully last time flying Norwegian through Gatwick."
Plussat: "I have never heard of this airline and was pleasantly surprised at their professional and kind service. Hope I can travel with them again."
Miinukset: "As above and I was pleasantly surprised also by the cartoons on the drop down screens that were good for all ages."
Plussat: "I liked the food... particularly the dinner: Beef Chipotle. But it wasn't clear if I'd be getting food or not. I did, but my seat mates did not and I can only assume that they had a more of a discount arrangement."
Miinukset: "Most of the on flight staff was fine, but one flight attendant in particular was very stressed. I had a window seat but it was impossible for me to get by the other seats because there was no space for egress. Also, air ducts overhead were furry from neglect--they hadn't been cleaned in a while and had a not of dirty dust around them."

Due to the mediated service, it was not possible to check in online. It only works if you buy the ticket at Ryanair.
Flight departure delayed which resulted in me almost missing my connection
Fast, good loads in and out, totally worth of price.

Miinukset: "Flight delayed 2 hours with very little communication as to why. We were not informed of likely length of delay. Once on board we were not offered any small compensation such as a free drink etc. Customers were moved to accommodate other passengers resulting in my friend moving from isle or middle seat. This wasn’t handled very gently and she wasn’t thanked."

Miinukset: "Every group on plane seemed to have been purposely split up even though there were many empty seats. Difficult to book luggage on the website. They said there were strict size limits on cabin bags, but when we got to the gate they didn’t check any - we had to pay for an extra bag in hold when we could have just used a bigger bag for hand luggage. Everything was difficult. Bag drop didn’t work - we had to queue to to go to the desk 3 times and the lady eventually did it herself. Staff were polite and nice."
Miinukset: "My travel agent could not check us in as she did not realize she need passport info, exp. date, and birth date and we couldn't reach her in time to get us checked in with the time difference. It cost us an extra 115 pounds to checkin at the airport. That is ridiculous!"
Miinukset: "The airline only allows online checkin and didn’t notify us through emails until a few days before the flight when we’re already traveling. During international travel, we don’t check emails. We ended up paying almost $200 to checking at the airport. will not use this airline again."

Miinukset: "The company delays those flights every time between 2 to 5 hours and I’m getting really annoyed about it. I’m thinking to use another company for my next trip"
Miinukset: "The gate for boarding was supposed to close at 1205pm but they didn’t announce the gate until 11:30am. The flight was supposed to take off at 12:35pm but there was no announcement of delay, all of the attendants said that everything was on schedule, yet boarding didn’t even start until 1230pm. They randomly took people out of line and told them their bags were too big and made them pay 50 euro, even though their bags still went in the same hold and they were no bigger than anyone else’s when later compared. It was an international flight and multiple people didn’t even have to show their passports. Then on the plane we sat on the runway for about another hour and didn’t takeoff until 1:40pm. The take off was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. The seats were basically lawn chairs glued to the ground and the aisles aren’t large enough for the crew so they were constantly bumping everyone in the aisle seats. The landing felt like the plane was going to flip over and crash and then on top of everything we were told that Ryanair didn’t have enough employees to take our luggage off of the plane."
Miinukset: "Central Naples to Central London lasted 16 hours door to door! No proper explanation is given as to when to expect the flight to depart even roughly. People were kept standing up, waiting. Vouchers given for refreshments were valid in two places, one of them outside the airport! Somebody who couldn't use her voucher wanted to use it on the plane and it was not accepted."

Miinukset: "Received emails about baggage, the policy stated that any cabin baggage beyond 1 would be checked for FREE in the hold. My wife and I both arrived with a small carry-on bag and a backpack. Upon arrival to Lisbon the attendant told us we needed to pay40euro each for the extra bag because it was slightly bigger than the bag “tester” box. (It fit sideways but not long ways). We showed the email about the free checked bag and she said because it was too big we had to pay 40 euro each. After a while we agreed. She then told us just to go to the gate, it would be ok. At the gate we had the same conversation with a different attendendent, this time it was 50 euro a piece! She said there was nothing she could do and just like that we are out 100 Euro. Do not fly with these Crooks!"

They had us standing for an hour without letting us know they flight was delayed and you can’t find information online. Also it seems their goal was to charge everyone for luggage and the overhead compartments were pretty empty."

Miinukset: "I was informed at the departure gate that my carry-on baggage cannot be brought to the airplane and I was forced to pay 50euro at the last minute for the baggage fee. The ironic part was I have gone through the check-in desk to ask for whether my carry on fits Ryanair standard or not. That was very unprofessional and inconsistent way of handling the issue."

Miinukset: "This was really cattle class. We were herded onto the plane, held in tiny pens, and herded off. But it was cheap."
Miinukset: "They didn't have record that I had paid for extra luggage for my party of 7. Luckily, I had my paperwork so I was able to finally get my luggage on without paying again. The flight bordered 40 minutes late and then sat on the runway for an hour. They was never an announcement as to why. My mother is in a wheelchair. They didn't let her pre-board, and then put her wheelchair through with the luggage. She had to get to the luggage carousel without it. They told her to just walk. Luckily, she can walk a little with help. Yikes, if she was totally disabled."
Plussat: "Can't get any cheaper than that so I did not expect much. The check-in process was not bad, and going into the plane was surprisingly easy. Was expected to be treated as cattle, but was pleasently surprised to find otherwise."

Miinukset: "Last time we flew Ryanair, we did not check-in ahead of time, so we had to pay 53 Euros at the airport. We learned our lesson, so for this flight we checked in ahead of time and had our boarding passes ready on our mobile devices. When we arrived at the airport, we were told we needed a printed ticked so they could stamp it that they had checked our passport. It would be 53 Euros for them to print the ticket. The lady at the ticket counter directed us to the business center to print, but the Ryanair website wasn't working. I eventually printed a poor quality screenshot and hoped for the best. The lady stamped when she checked my passport. Nobody ever checked the stamped ticket beyond that point. What a waste. Ryanair is cheap, of course I'll fly with them again the next time I'm in Europe. My advice to travelers is to do your research and know all the loop holes they use to make money off of you."

Plussat: "Arrived at 5.45, checked in, gone through security by 06.30. Flight delayed by 15 minutes, due to passengers not Ryanair. Arrived 15 minutes early so would have arrived earlier at Palma. Staff seemed friendly. No real complaints."
