Miinukset: "We couldn't land in Narita due to bad weather, so we did emergency landing to Haneda to refuel and go back to Narita. But after we got off in Narita, the immigration is chaos. Nobody arranging it and people just going wild, nobody knows where the line should begin. We spent 2 hours plus in the imigration line. So from the scheduled time to arrive at Tokyo 5pm, we get to our Hotel at 2am. Good job Narita airport!"

Of course there was a problem with my reservation that they had never seen before which manifested itself by them not being able to print my boarding pass. They called Tokyo and were told that they had never seen my problem before either. Anyway, the ticketing supervisor stayed with me for 45 minutes until they could over come the problem. I would be a rich man if I had a nickel for every 'So-sorry' I got that day."

People queue up, then they swivel the pole round so I'm in the wrong queue now. Try to move, lose place in queue, they swivel it back the way it was... Good airline but boarding especially for domestic is disorganised with poor signage etc."

If you're further back or not so tall s difficult to see which queue is correct... quite a few people (not me fortunately!) got turned away because they don't know ANA's boarding system. Also a problem with boarding at HND where the overhead monitors show BIz but not First/Diamond. As some other reviews pointed out, BBC news just didn't work. CNN worked intermittently."

Plussat: "Check-in was a breeze; considering this being an internationaly travel, baggage check-in process was fast and easy. Was in and out in about 5 minutes. Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."
Miinukset: "Atlanta to Doha was about 14 hours flight. The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."
Plussat: "Although I felt Qatar responded poorly to the cancelled flight, the actual flying experience was wonderful and made me forget about the extreme inconvenience and poor customer service regarding the cancelled flight."
Miinukset: "My flight got cancelled ten minutes before boarding. Workers gathered phone numbers and told us they would call to direct us a new flight. However, no calls were ever made. I had to call the airline multiple times to get an answer about a new flight. In my first call, the customer service was rude. There was also zero compensation for the inconvenience."
Plussat: "This was car better than most flights I've been on in the US. Lots of leg room excellent entertainment system good service and customer care."

Miinukset: "NONE of the business class center seats would recline. This meant in order to recline and get some rest, the crew had to dismantle your seat and release the locks manually. This meant the seat was in that position until time to land. So I had to make a choice to sleep or eat, horrible for CX."

Miinukset: "There was a long delay when boarding the connecting flight to SGN and there weren't any clear updates on the flight status. I didn't mind the wait so much but I wish they had announced the current status more clearly."
Miinukset: "Delayed flight after waiting for hours in Hongkong. The male flight attendant was inefficient. Did not check on passenger’s concern even after it was brought to his attention. Simple request for water took forever to arrive. Did not like meal so requested a cup of noodle instead but the noodle never arrived. It is stated in their menu that snacks like cup of noodle is available through out the flight but only when you stand up and get it from them. Very poor service. I will never fly Cathay Pacific again. That will be the first and the last."

Miinukset: "That they continuously made mistakes and wasted my time and money. Let alone no sleep and carrying everything to 3 different terminals not completing my trip on any of them. Now I’m spending Valentine’s Day alone in a hotel in Hong Kong instead of meeting my gfs family and sleeping with her the first time in Manila."
Plussat: "FLIGHT WAS CANCELLED"
Miinukset: "Airline could have have notified us the flight was cancelled via email before we got to the airport. THEY DID NOT. We had to wait in general airport area for SIX HOURS, before we could check in to new flight. We planned trip to arrive to unfamiliar destination during day time. We arrived at MIDNIGHT! AWFUL!!!!"
Plussat: "Food was great, and the business class 777 seats are a delight. And the captain shuts up through the entire flight --- no interrupting your sleep or movie with stupid observations that no-one wants to hear."
Miinukset: "The quality of the screens (crappy slow resistive touchscreens) is completely unacceptable for business class in 2018. China Airlines screens are VASTLY superior in their hardware, their speed, and the quality of their UI. And running an ad before EVERY movie --- in business?! Talk about an airline having no sense of class. That's a cheap, stupid move."
Plussat: "Flight from Toronto to Hong Kong was late departing due to a snow storm. Most on the flight missed connections. Cathay staff were waiting on the jetway with plans for everyone that missed their connection to Sydney. Just impeccable organisation and service."

Plussat: "Access to Cathay lounge. Went to the Wing noodle bar and coffee loft. Had a good bite to eat before boarding flight running 15 mins late. My request to have my meal service delayed was welcomed by staf."

Miinukset: "Seats are harder than I like for a long flight. Cathay screwed up my departure date and had to spend hundreds on top of normal change fee to get home on the day I was supposed to."
Miinukset: "After a stressful 15 hour flight from San Francisco, my connecting flight to Tokyo was delayed by an hour and a half, which is something I'd like to avoid in this long of a flight."

Miinukset: "I ordered a special meal, and I did not get it. The response I got from the crew was: 'so you refuse to take the regular meal? we will report you didn't get what you ordered'. and I stayed hungry. In general, the crew wasn't very welcoming."
Plussat: "They lost my luggage and no one knows where it is!"
Plussat: "The flight crew was excellent. Very attentive, even in coach. Amenities were good. The food was adequate to good."

Plussat: "Our Turkish Airlines flight was late boarding and passengers were upset about not being able to make their connecting flights. The crew handled it well, but anxiety was high. The food is always good and one of the reason I fly Turkish Airlines on a regular basis."
Miinukset: "Passport Control at Ataturk International was a nightmare with hundreds of people ahead of us in the queue. No Police to secure the area, so people rushed the line pushing us aside and jumped the queue, this happened repeatedly. I would advise people NOT to fly into this airport and expect to make your connecting flight, because it doesn't play out well at all. We were in line for 2 hours and witnessed people pushing, shoving, yelling at strangers and generally acting like animals. I found the whole experience highly disturbing."
Plussat: "Best Movies and easy to go everywhere. Food voucher was available in case you have flight later than 6 hours."

Plussat: "The crew on the plane was kind, accommodating, and polite. Free alcoholic drinks helped with the long list of negatives aspects of the flight."
Miinukset: "Every flight was 30+ minutes late. Crew members at the gate were consistently on their phones and delayed service substantially. Not only am I incredibly frustrated that I could not bring my laptop onboard to do work, but the fact I wasn't told until right at boarding and it took extensive time to reclaim it makes Turkish airlines on par with Ryan Air for inconveniencing its customers. At baggage claim, the crew loaded our baggage on the incorrect track, making it take even longer to receive it. Seats and leg room are sub par. As someone who is 6'3, when the person in front of me put their seat back, I was forced to take a metal bar on the back of their seat to my knees (no matter the position). I will be recommending to both family and friends that they should avoid this airline at all costs."

Miinukset: "Customer Service. They cancelled my flight in the middle of my vacation and just sent me an email moving my flights to next day. Unacceptable!!! I paid for it 4 months in advance. One cannot change my arrival from Sunday night to Monday night. Called Customer Service 20+ times to have it fixed. They are all outsourced incompetent and unprepared. Good planes overall, but horrible customer service. I will never fly Turkish again. I prefer to pay more and have decent customer service and no flights cancellations in the middle of my vacation."
Miinukset: "Basically the wifi doesn't work on these long haul flights. It's either not connected or extremely slow. I finally gave up and didn't bother"

Plussat: "The meal was good and fulfilling The cabin crew dressed like a chef is a nice and fun thing."
Miinukset: "Slow boarding to the plane, passengers don't respect the different boarding class rule and the staff was not enforcing it. Passengers were standing in the plane after it landed but while it was still driving on the runway and they were opening the overhead luggage compartments risking other passengers health with falling luggage. Also since passengers were standing and the plane was driving on the runway, they were not stable and moving sideways and one of them hit a sitting passenger in the head by mistake. The on-flight entertainment system didn't work from FRA to IST The staff did not do a safety check (check if seat belts on all passengers, seats are in upright position) prior to the plane flying Overall I flew with them 4 times (2 way ticket, with connection flights) and all flights were late to depart and eventually arrive late."
Plussat: "Liked that the flight was on time and the plane clean. Online seat selection and check in was helpful but there was no wait at the airport either."
Miinukset: "No inflight entertainment. Food was poor, but it was only a short flight."

Miinukset: "Gate changed 2 times, many had to run long distance between gates, take-off was 40min late. loud and useless (no english) flight announcements would wake me up each time"
Miinukset: "The flight from DXB was delayed, causing us to miss the connection to LIS in IST. 2 hours after standing at the transfer desk they put us on a flight to LIS via CDG. Luggage was kept in IST. Now we are in LIS with no luggage and no confirmation on its whereabouts. Lost and found staff at LIS (Portway) showed total confusion in claiming luggage was in CDG. Today two planes arrived in LIS from IST, none of them with our luggage. Screen shows my name with mention "Not loaded" regarding the luggage. This incompetence is unacceptable from "Europe's best airline". This title is misleading advertising and should not be allowed."

Plussat: "From the first person I met (the man who printed my boarding pass at the counter) to the crew on board each flight, I was very impressed with the people at Turkish Airlines :) Everyone was very pleasant and helpful, and made my trip enjoyable."

Miinukset: "because of turbulence, they stopped serving food and beverages in the middle of their service but it wasn't that shaky. I've been in worse flights and they still served the food. they did not stop midway."
Plussat: "The service was outstanding, this is one of the best airlines I have ever flewn. Considering its elegancy and exquisite service. My twelve hours from Miami to Istanbul turned out to be less because of the amazing service I recieved. Very happy that this airline exist and cannot wait to go back and experience this great airline again."
