This resulted in appropriate food not being available to the customer on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam. The customer had to literally starve on the flight. 3. The pursers and stewards on the flight from Boston to Amsterdam weren't pleasant and courteous at all. For anything they were asked, their responses ."

Last minute change of aircraft from Amsterdam to Mexico City made our seats different and not as comfy as on the 787-900 planned. Crew was a little bit snippy and not as friendly as I expected on Aeromexico. KLM crews are fantastic! KLM food is not so much for their short-haul flights serving these salad vegan boxes.

She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

I did not enjoy the food."

Miinukset: "The only complaint I have regarding my most recent flight was the incredibly rude service staff whom we experienced at the front counter at check-in. After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

They overbooked our flight and moved us to the next day. We were unaware that our flight had been moved until we got to the check in. Even now you email us about a flight we never had. We had to pay close to 1k to quickly book another flight just to make it to our destination in time.
Purchasing add-one was complicated. Pre-paid for second checked bag the day before, was forced to pay again—a higher amount—because they “couldn’t find” record of my payment, despite me having received 2 confirmation emails (including a receipt) for the baggage. Showed them the emails and the recipes, and even the record of the transaction through the banking app on my phone, and was still forced to pay twice. Unacceptable.
Worst airline ever. Pilot strike and bankruptcy was the best part of the experience. The website didn’t work to purchase specified seats, no one answered the phone, and I couldn’t even enter any birthdate on their website for anyone born on the first of a month without getting an invalid date error. If any airline ever deserved what to go bankrupt it’s this one. And after booking 9 people to take a once in a lifetime trip for my 90 year old father to travel back to his homeland we will likely never see the $12,000 we spent on tickets. Then because of the late cancellation we had to pay $16,000 for less convenient flights with another airline.

Seats had enough room for me where I didn’t feel cramped. Food was just alright, but I wasn’t expecting much on a plane so I was satisfied. 7 hour flight was not as bad as I was expecting
Kayak offered terrible service, and was unwilling to come up with better alternatives to fix their mistake. Don't choose KAYAK, if the airline cancels the flight, KAYAK only makes effort to avoid any accountability.

Miinukset: "The SAS Supervisor at the gate permitted all preferred-level economy class ticketed passengers to board irrespective of the amount of their carry-on items - in some cases as many as three different items and many over-sized as per the measuring box located at the gate walkway, before conducting a bag-by-bag weight check on all the remaining economy ticketed passengers. Any carry-on item over 8 kgs was refused access to the airplane, and had to be unpacked at the gate in full view of other passengers to remove all electronic devices or breakable items, prior to being left with the gate agent to be placed on the plane as checked luggage. This procedure was conducted in an officious and highly non-customer friendly way, and was embarrassing to those passengers who had to "strip down" their single bag, in particular for female passengers who had overnight clothing and toiletries. A more practical and customer appropriate approach should replace such a draconian procedure."
Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."

Miinukset: "Plane seemed a little worn, which surprised me since it was an A380. Not that old. I had purchased an upgrade to a seat with more legroom, only to find out there was no USB plug for charging my phone. All standard seats have them. Would have been nice to be warned about that."
Plussat: "On time, staff was nice."
Miinukset: "Not many options and not even a glass of champagne. That’s a minimal requirement. No sparkling water. Just very limited"
Miinukset: "Being in the middle of the 4 seats with guys on both sides. They tend to restrict the space by using the arm rests."

Miinukset: "The plane (Boeing 777) is packed like a sardines can, with 10 narrow uncomfortable seats across in Economy Class. The crew didn't even bring water for an 1,5 hr into the flight! The plane was very hot, with very little air flowing through the salon. Food was bland for dinner and inedible for breakfast. The crew was barely there, and borderline rude when asked something."
Miinukset: "Our flight was delayed so we could not make out connecting flight. We had to wait 6 hours get another flight to Atlanta and then fly to Boston the next day, longest flight ever was horrible I called out sick from work too."
Plussat: "The cabin crew was super patient and accommodating of the passengers."

Miinukset: "Entertainment screen did not work; in neighboring seat it could not be switched off when we wanted to sleep; sourly employees everywhere (re-booking counter an exception); food close not being edible and cold; I forgot my watch on when going through security in the Air France terminal; when I started to say "sorry" I was yelled at by the screener who said that she will do the talking; she sent me back through the scanner twice without my watch, then once more with the carry-on and made sure that I went to the end of a very long line to wait for another screening rather than having me just go through the scanner without my watch. Needless to say, there was nothing else suspicious about me once the watch was removed. Eager to exercise her power, the security person did not seem to consider that she slowed down a long line of people waiting to be screened. I should add that I am 73 yrs old grey haired female who has traveled a lot both for pleasure and business during my entire life, often to some difficult places and that I do not argue with or provoke those in power in a situation like this. The yelling and the sending me repeatedly through the scanner, which did not beep once the watch was removed, was beyond anything I had experienced anywhere else. The sending me to the very end of the line seemed outright spiteful. (I did miss the plane connection.)"
Plussat: "Everything except the seat. Service ("would you care for a drink/beverage?") could be better."
Miinukset: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."
Miinukset: "1/ the transfer crew needed 50 mn to enter my son’s visa number in her computer and she almost let us miss our flight 2/ we were separated (party of 3, my son being 5 YEARS OLD) - how can they allow a boarding and expecting my 5 year old to do a 10 hours flight BY HIMSELF???? 3/ no kids menus, even if I had ordered it before 4/ food in general was very mediocre 5/ crew was unprofessional and they acted bored"
Plussat: "I liked the food, the crew, the service"
Miinukset: "The seats we were assigned ( we are two we'll feed person's and the seats are toooo narrow"
Plussat: "We got to the desk to check in and there was one person being served in front of us. He finished with him, turned and left the area through the dooor. No one came to help us for 15 minutes. Then they came out to answer the phone and said we were 10 minutes past the cut off and we could not fly."
Miinukset: "Staff just walked away while we were in line, the rudeness and mean attitude, they blamed us for being too late after ignoring us and made us late, they didn't offer an alternative flight until we asked. Overall, horrible customer service. Never been treated so rudely by people in the airlines industry in my entire 42 years of flying!"
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."
Plussat: "Nothing... and we were late which made me miss my connecting flight and I wasn’t reimbursed because it was with a different airline"

Miinukset: "Leaving late seemingly without reason from Paris - chaotic boarding line in Paris with difficult to hear PA. Seats were ok'ish but than again, it's a 45 minute flight. The sandwich was gross and I'm somewhat known as a person who eats everything!"

Miinukset: "Ran out of the (already not sufficient) salty crackers and, as the flight had been delayed, we had a one packet of cracker 'lunch' at noon... the flight really should have had a sandwich or at least something slightly more substantial."

Miinukset: "Airport handling is catastrophic. A lost bagage created the twins to be locked. Half an hour and we could not enter. Delays and huge mess in front of police checkpoint. No announcement and no care for passengers approaching departure time. And to top it all no announcement of any delays. Had to cheat my way through the priority line and run a sprint through security and beyond. Reached the gate to note that there was a delay of 5 minutes.... Grrrr"

Miinukset: "I sat next to an overweight lady and was incredibly uncomfortable my entire flight. There needs to be better regulation for overweight passengers to ensure that every passenger has enough room"
Plussat: "I have been Flying Blue platinum for six years in a row. I often wondered why I never got a complimentary upgrade... Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."

Miinukset: "I didn't like being charged 95 dollars for my checked luggage with no prior knowledge that that was going to be the case. The website said one free checked piece, but apparently that didn't apply."
Plussat: "Getting off the flights! What a terrible experience. We will never fly or recommend this airline again"
Miinukset: "We will not fly Icelandic Air again. The baggage fees were incredible - $95 per bag to go from Boston and $110 per bag to fly home. That is over $400 in bag fees. This with practically no service, no snacks - we did get water and soft drinks and a ground crew in Iceland that does not communicate about boarding. There was no system to get people on the plane and no communication You expect a baggage fee but it should be well communicated. We looked up the fee online and saw an economy bag listed. What they do not list is that there are different economy baggage fees. The lower price you pay the higher the fee. Again I don't mind a fee - I just should be able to find that fee before I commit. Very deceptive advertising. I could have booked a flight with an airline for the same price and gotten better service, a few snack and airline miles."
Plussat: "Everything but having to pay $69 for a checked bag was fine."
Miinukset: "Had to pay $69 to check one bag even though economy class is entitled to one free bag. We specifically brought a checked bag expecting it was free. Otherwise we would have only done carry on."
Plussat: "The crew and flight was good."
Miinukset: "Most uncomfortable seats we have flown in, those seats felt like sitting on a wooden board. No room at all for our small bag by our feet (some kind of metal plate was stopping it (wasn't like that at other seats around us). I had to show the flight attendant why I couldn't get my bag under there."

Plussat: "Love it. Customer service was awesome. Seat quite comfortable. I hade problems with the first entertainment tablet they gave me, but the second worked well. The only reason I mention this is because I don’t think I was the only one who had a problem. I have every intention to fly with Icelandic air again!"
Miinukset: "Gate area was somewhat chaotic during the boarding process."
Plussat: "The seats were comfortable and spacious enough. Also, the entertainment system was really responsive, which is a little thing, but makes it feel nicer and modern. It also had good selection."
Miinukset: "Being a rescheduled flight after a big storm, security seemed overwhelmed with the number of people. We arrive about two hours before scheduled departure and they were making last call by the time we got there. Not sure what can be done about this, but it was annoying. Maybe the airline could have requested that security open earlier."
Plussat: "They provided a pillow and blanket which was very nice, and the crew were helpful in finding space for items during take-off and landing. The boarding and exiting were fairly quick."
Miinukset: "Everything on board costs extra, including basic drinks and snacks, but that's to be expected on cheaper flights. I assumed that the inflight movies cost money as well, although I didn't watch any because I didn't have headphones."
Plussat: "No food or snacks are given on flights even if they are overnight. Everything must be bought other than water and coffee/ tea. Other than that the crew and flight were nice."
Plussat: "They were very good about keeping the lights down as much as possible on this red eye flight. Announcements were also kept to a minimum. The re were comfy blankets, pillows, and water waiting for us on every seat."
Miinukset: "The seats are not that comfortable - seems they skimped on padding, plus my seat wouldn’t stay reclined and my husbands wouldn’t recline at all. The space under the seats in front of us was very restricted: there is only space for a bag or for feet, not both."

Plussat: "I really liked the fun facts about Iceland on seat heads, and the seats were quite comfy as well. Everyone was really friendly. As far as being trapped in a tiny space too high up in the air can be, it was quite enjoyable."

Plussat: "Finally, an airline the figured out boarding by allowing those in window seats on board first, then middle seats, then aisle seats. So smart, smooth, and non-stressful! comfortable seats, hospitality was great, water so good, entertainment great. Wish the documentaries on iceland were better, they just seemed like advertisements for shops around iceland."

Plussat: "On time, polite and helpful assistance at airport with seat assignmnent issue ( all seats on a four leg ticket had been unassigned after assignment three months prior), generous leg room, very good tea on flight. Slept in Reykjavik airport on long layover due to dreadful weather. More comfortable than most airports."

Miinukset: "Broken luggage upon landing in Paris. One handle missing and the second broken. KEF is small and narrow and has very expensive food and drink."
Plussat: "The price was right. Lots of entertainment options. Amenity kit was nice. Staff/crew very pleasant."

Plussat: "They brilliantly board passengers with window seats first! The seats are roomy and the lighting above the storage bins is a nice touch."
Plussat: "Connecting flight on Finnair albeit from Oslo, Norway, delivered as promised. On time departure and arrival. What a relief. Too bad Icelandair ground ops did not get our luggage on board. No surprise there. Lost valuable vacation time and money tracing and recovering our possessions."
Miinukset: "From delayed departure from Dulles to hot airplane, cramped seating, minimum service, late arrival in Reykjavik and 19 hours of constant gate changes, nothing went right for the airline and the hundreds of frustrated passengers. Waited from 0730 Saturday to 0300 Sunday to continue to Helsinki. 5 unexplained flight delays and last minute gate changes before flight being cancelled and rescheduled. What has happened to Icelandair?"
Plussat: "Crew was very nice and both flights were smooth and timely"
Miinukset: "Boarding area is a free for all so it's chaotic. Everyone in line is guaranteed a seat so I'm not sure why everyone is in such a panic at the line. They should work on the herding process."
Plussat: "Planes were clean and very comfortable. Entertainment was great. Crew was professional and well informed."
Miinukset: "It was extremely disappointing that absolutely no food of any kind was offered on the 5 1/2 hour flight from Boston to Reykjavik. No pretzels, no bag of nuts, no cookies, NOTHING. The only thing handed out on the 5 1/2 hour flight was a bottle of water at the start. There wasn't even a choice of beverages. I would very much have appreciated knowing that beforehand, so that I could pick something up at the airport to tide me over. Needless to say, there was only water offered on the flight from Reykjavik to Hamburg. I cannot overemphasize-- Icelandair should at least clearly inform passengers in advance of their overseas flights that there will be no food service."
Miinukset: "My final flight and I was going to finally get some food. Only to find that without a major debit or credit card that wasn't happening. I needed to pay for my breakfast and cash was not acceptable. In addition to a massive overflow of parents going through passport control and neatly missing my flight I was quite unhappy"
Plussat: "Flight was cancelled"
Miinukset: "Was not notified of the cancellation until arriving at baggage check. Instead of putting us on another Iceland air flight, they put us on Virgin Atlantic connection to British Airways. The Virgin flight was 2 hours delayed so we missed the connection and then it was not clear who's responsibility it was to get us to Paris."
Plussat: "The seats were comfortable and not as cramped as other airlines. I wasn't prepared for the exchange rate, the cost of food purchased on the plane showed up as dollars on my debit card account."

Miinukset: "Actual flights were fine. Connection in KEF was confusing due to poor signage (Gate C23), no staff, and no chairs at gate. "Am I really in the right place?""
Plussat: "The plane boarded very quickly and efficiently in Boston. It seemed like everyone was all seated a good 20 minutes before our scheduled departure time. The staff was friendly and helpful and I really appreciate being handed a bottle of water upon boarding."
Miinukset: "The food for purchase was so-so and the entertainment system was a bit unresponsive and difficult to get to do what you would like."

Plussat: "Overall another great travel experience. The ground and air staff make you feel welcome. They provide bottled water when you board and go around again towards the end of the flight. One of those little things that keeps me feeling comfortable."
Miinukset: "Very few issues. However the the in-flight entertainment system always starts at full blast sound and no control to turn it down. When I've used headphones without their own volume control I've had to take the out until the on-screen controls finally appeared. It was really really crowded at the baggage claim in Reykjavik. Took much longer to get my luggage and get out than in previous visits. I also wish there were better food options. More protein and less carbs."
