It was so TIGHT that my knees were pressing up agains the seat in front of me the whole 8 hours of flight, even though I am only 5'7"! I felt really sorry for those passengers who were taller. Finnair also lost my checked in bag and delivered it 36 hours later without providing any compensation. Coming back the flight was delayed due to mechanical reasons, which caused a number of passengers miss connecting flights. This is one of the things that can happen to any airline, but only Finnair failed to provide an agent to take care of the passengers who missed their flights. So, after a 2 hour delay and 7 hours of traveling in the air, the stranded passengers had to find an agent in JFK who would rebook their flights. One of the worst traveling experiences. Will never travel Finnair again!"

Then they had not even coffee before actually landing. The vegetarian breakfast that was served in the evening had one dry pita bread with two slices of cucumbers and tomatoes, very lousy. Finnair has had that for years. If you order lacto-ovo meal, you get a vegan breakfast, a very low quality one. Why? I paid about $1500 for the flight and would like some service, too."

Miinukset: "Boarded late, taxi' around for 3 and a half hours, deplaned as flight was canceled, waited 3 hours for next flight which was then cancelled. All understandable until the announced that the flight was reinstated only to be followed by an hour of the clerks unable to put people back on the flight which caused it to be cancelled. Sent to another airport except the free shuttle wasn't running, 50 dollar taxi ride later I got to sleep on the floor until the gates finally opened 5 hours later"

Terrible food. Yogurt was actually expired, so I had no breakfast. People were all nice as they told me I should have booked the flights together. Hmmm... Maybe you should not have been 4 hours late. I planned my trip with more than enough time to make connection... Called about my travel insurance and found out it kicked in after 6 hour delay. Customer service should never make you feel like the issue is your fault."

They were prompt, efficient and very helpful and although my flight was quite full, we left on time and had no issues in the air. I was very pleased with their service and especially as I paid such a low fare through Finn Air, I can't complain. This was a great option to utilise, rather than paying BA's more expensive fares. I would definitely go through this way again."

"The food was terrible. My luggage did not make it from NY to Heathrow as best I can tell. American says that British Air had it and lost it. It took them four days to get it to me. Also the food on American from SFO to JFK was superior to that of JFK to Heathrow. I also did not get my Global Entry TSA Pre status on the British Air issued tickets and had to do the whole thing in security which was a drag. It was not a good experience. The fully reclining bed with the privacy configuration was definitely the best of any of the airlines so an excellent for the plane seat / bed configuration."

Plussat: "Crew was late due to Thanksgiving traffic. The Crew was then very rude during the flight and unapologetic for what has to be the most ridiculous reason for a flight delay I have ever experienced. If a passenger had that excuse, do you think the airline would wait for the passenger? Lame."
Miinukset: "When I got to London British airways refused to board the plane that was originally scheduled to leave for Warsaw because there were not enough passengers. That happened twice. I was at the airport for over 12hrs and the airline didn't offer an explanation at all or even a food voucher. It was tortourous"
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed by 2 hours because of hydronic issues. I feel asleep and missed the food which was part of the ticket wasn’t woken up. Was then woken by the passenger behind kick my chair which was not comfortable at all and the entertainment system was something out of the 80s, screen so small could see the picture that well and the touch screen was not that reactive. Cabin crew we grumpy. Ashamed this is called British not what I called British........"

Plussat: "Its hard to consider a flight where you got bumped up from premium economy to business as anything other than a 10!"
Miinukset: "The dining choices in the terminal British Airways uses are dismal. I am not sure British Airways has any input to this but the line in arrivals for US passport holders was approximately 2.73 miles long while the line for UK/EU passports was perhaps 40 feet long - not a very welcoming situation. Perhaps a little pressure applied by the major airline could improve this situation."

Miinukset: "The food, the seats were old and cramped and i could feel every movement from the ppl behind and actually got shouted at by the man in front of me because i put my water bottle in the pouch in my seat. He thought i was punching the seat. inflight entertainment was brutal, limited selection of movies and bad ones at that. The screen was old and pixelated..... Food was bland and not edible. It was a red eye and we were not given eye masks, toothbrushes or ear buds. Horrble experience ill never fly BA again"

Plussat: "The airplane cabin needed attention for some cosmetic details (broken tray tables, worn bathroom fixtures), and time gained on a fast flight was eaten up by a long delay in landing, but the crew was courteous, professional, and very kind, especially for a few passengers who developed problems during the flight (a disabled mother whose toddler became unruly; an older women who suffered travel sickness), and the food was surprisingly tasty."

Plussat: "I loved the crew - they were very helpful and communicative. The food was also good, and I enjoyed the movies."
Miinukset: "My seat would not recline, so when the lady in front of me reclined her seat, eating and watching movies became difficult. The crew were very helpful in trying to solve the problem, but the seat was broken so they could do nothing to help me. They offered to move me and my son, but we had settled in and so decided to decline the offer."
Miinukset: "British airways is a shitty airline, I was stuck in Heathrow for almost 2 days, pregnant and alone. British airways has poor communication, poor leadership and no customer service skills. My flight was terrible and I will never be flying on British airways in the future. I will also be telling friends and family about my experience and ensure that they also don't travel on this awful airline."
Plussat: "I had left my walking stick somewhere at the airport, couldn't find it and had given it up for lost. What a surprise, once I was seated on plane, to hear an announcement for the traveler who had left a 'walking stick'; I told the nearest steward, and he got it for me - BA rocks! Overall, the air crew were so professional, (unlike certain things happening on other airlines at the moment), and I was very happy, even with my ovo lacto veg meal, (it really was tasty)."

Miinukset: "The EMB140/145 is just a bit too confining for me... I don't normally suffer claustrophobia on flights, but I seriously almost stepped off the plane immediately after stepping on, given the low ceiling, and confining nature of the plane. If it had been a full flight, I'm not sure I would have made it without a full blown panic attack of claustrophobia."
Miinukset: "Seven hours before my flight, I got an email from British Airways saying my flight was cancelled and I had been rebooked on a flight the next day. I called them immediately and was told the flight was cancelled because of inclement weather on the route. I checked the national weather advisory and saw no such weather alert. The service rep at BA told me there was "absolutely nothing" she could do, at which point I asked for a manager. I waited for almost 30 minutes, and once the manager came on I was put on a flight that same night, on a different airline. If I hadn't pushed back and demanded a more reasonable accommodation, they would have done nothing to right their wrong. For this reason I am extremely unhappy with my experience with British Airways."

Miinukset: "I was not able to select my seat until 24 hours before the flight without paying, which I think is ridiculous. Once I checked in 24 hours before, I was still not able to select my seat. The problem was related to me booking through a partner airline. The partner (American Airlines) couldn't help me because they couldn't access the BA seats. And BA couldn't help me on the phone to select my seat for some other reason (I can't remember). I had to wait until I got to JFK a few hours before the flight, by which time all the seats were filled and I was stuck in a middle seat. Basically, I think there needs to be better communication or coordination between BA and their partner airlines to help customers before the flight, and also it is absurd to charge $35 to choose their seat."
Plussat: "There was nothing I liked!"
Miinukset: "I couldn't do online check in and was at the airport 2 hours before the flight but they said they cannot give me a seat number and waited there for 25 min to get a seat number. The seats were really uncomfortable (compared to airlines as Turkish airlines and American Airways).The flight attendants were not there to make your flight better, one of them was sulking and was afraid to smile to you but when he was with other crew was able to laugh! Also food was really bad!"
Plussat: "flight departure and arrival were early. check in was easy even though I arrived at the airport late due to weather."

Plussat: "This flight did not have much enjoyment due to the extreme delay overseas."
Miinukset: "There was an ill passenger onboard as we were flying mid Atlantic - instead of flying the aircraft onward we turned around to St.Johns (understandable) however once we arrived we roughly sat on the plane for three hours after the passenger walked off the aircraft conscious. There was paperwork delaying the craft to fly, the re-fueling took over an 1 hour due to not knowing how much fuel to put into this larger plane. There were also difficulties on the plane other then a passenger being ill, the craft had some engine issues after landing in St.Johns - the pilot tried to keep crowd control by lying to the passengers. As we finally got up into the air, knowing that we missed our connecting flight to Budapest from london already- it was stressful. Then as we approached Europe we were told we have to land in Dublin due to the crew working too many hours... Which the pilot had to of known as we departed from St. John's yet he told us we were on our way to London. We waited in the airport in Dublin Ireland for at least 3-4 hours we were told another crew would bring us to London at 3pm yet we didn't even board until 5-6pm. We finally got to London 12 hours after we were suppose to arrive. And to our final destination 14 hours after we were suppose to arrive. I expect a complete refund from this flight from JFK- Budapest. It was the worst experience ever."
Miinukset: "We sat on the runway for 2 hours, and the climate control in the airplane was not active. The outside temperatures were high 90 degrees (late august) and the temperature inside the plane reached 80s. It was way to hot, without water."
