Flight to Florence delayed. All passengers took a bus to Pisa (1.5 hours away) to fly Pisa to Paris. We missed our connection and flew next day. All information regarding the delay online was incorrect ("system not yet updated") . So calling Air France was useless as they could not assist. Not all flight delays can be avoided but many improvements are needed throughout this process.
Plussat: "Crew are the best!"
Miinukset: "There was no amenities pack given in Premium economy. The food was ok. It would have been nice to have been offered another bread roll. Seat comfort was fine, but I kept getting hit by the separating curtain as the flight attendants went back and forth from economy."
Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."
Plussat: "The seats were spacious and the crew was wonderful. The crew actually made the long flight more tolerable. Will seek out Delta/Air France for further international flights."

I asked serval Air France employees for Croatia Air. None new that Air France was the CA carrier. Finally found one who bothered to look it up on her computer and low and behold, AF was the carrier!"

Miinukset: "Plane late departing allegedly because of cleaning the plane, but why was the cleaning done that late? Also, ground crew remarkably uninformed about what was going on in the plane. Poor communication between plane and ground crew. No explanation from pilot as to continuing reason for delay even after we boarded. Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection."

Miinukset: "It was raining in Prague so I can understand that luggage is going to get wet. But when we opened our luggage at least half of our clothes were wet. It would seem that the luggage sat out for quite a while prior to departure for that much soaking of clothes. Fortunately we are staying in Paris for a few days and can get our clothes dried out."
Plussat: "I am a 70 year old woman with reduced mobility. The flight attendants made sure that I was given an aisle seat and they helped me find a seat with two empty ones next to me. The crew could not have been kinder."

My first time traveling overseas and enjoyed every minute of it! The only thing I wish I had more of was space for my legs. Otherwise, the crew was great, food was good and entertainment was great for a long flight! Can’t wait to book another trip soon.

Miinukset: "The flight information did not show the gate for the flight. We had to ask an employee which gate was being used. Unfortunately, it was a gate that required a transit ride. As a result, many passengers were late in fact, after pushback, the pilot returned to the gate to pick up one very late passenger. Also, the BA gate attendant was very rude. Her imperious attitude was a poor reflection on her employer."

Plussat: "British Airways provides complimentary amenities in coach not found on US carriers: A hot meal, snacks, beverages other than water or coffee/tea. Their media selection is superb. They seem to work hard to make a nine-hour flight over The Pond as tolerable as possible."
Miinukset: "My comfort was better on the return leg because I had the extra leg room that comes with being seated on the emergency exit row. However, regular coach seating is at best tolerable. You are packed like sardines and the seats are firm, to put it mildly."
Plussat: "Lucky enough to get an empty seat next to us."
Miinukset: "Forced to gate check a bag for no reason; there was plenty of room and other similar bags were allowed through."

Miinukset: "we're professional musicians who fly all the time with fragile equipment. the airline applied an overweight baggage fee (fair enough, normally) but their payment system was down. rather than waive the fee, we were made to wait an hour to pay 150 euros. after scrambling through security we narrowly missed our flight. rebooking took hours and involved going back through security all over again, having our equipment searched for the second time. when it came time to gate-check our guitars, the airline lost them. we wound up boarding our connection to JFK with no idea where they were. finally they turned up on the baggage belt. we would never and have never agreed to send these delicate items through general baggage. One guitar (50 year old gintage guitar) was broken in the process and another of our hard cases was damaged and needs to be replaced. Completely unacceptable from start to finish."
