There was difficulty with my connecting flight due to inconsistent COVID regulations. I was almost not allowed on, despite fulfilling all my requirements for my destination country. I was over-billed by Alaska Airlines for my luggage as well.

Miinukset: "The business seats at B777-300ER was very uncomfortable for a long distance trip with duration of 14,5 hours."
Plussat: "Crew very helpful. Seat was very good, food excellent."
Plussat: "The crew was very polite and very helpful. Boarding process was smooth and easy, however, the Singapore airport has security checks at every gate prior to boarding. This meant that after clearing this security process at the gate, bathrooms were not available until after boarding the flight and drinking water stations were not easily found in the secure boarding area. The aircraft was comfortable, menus were distributed early so that meal options could be made with full information in advance. The food was good and made available at routine intervals."
Miinukset: "On a 14 hour flight, staying well hydrated is very critical and difficult. It would have been nice for the crew to make more frequent trips through the cabin to offer just water refills to keep passengers hydrated and reduce plastic cup usage."
Plussat: "They passed by me when they served the meals because they thought I had it already which it was someone behind me who got his meal since he had a special meal request. So I ended up to talk to them that I haven’t had my meal yet. It was embarrassing moment for me. They seemed thinking that I lied to them."

Plussat: "Flight was full but crew was attentive and very pleasant. Star Alliance Lounge at LAX had a good variety of food and drinks - Asian, western, small bites, snacks; red, white, bubbly and even a bartender who'll mix up cocktails. I love flying SQ."

Miinukset: "For business class SQ, the crew service was severely sub-par. Seat arrangement same as in bigger 777, so actual space is much shorter and therefore uncomfortable for sleeping and lounging."

Miinukset: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."

Plussat: "comfort, food, flatbed, movie choice. a quality aircraft, that is why i choose Singapore. i fly to Europe every year, and have flown with many different carriers, so i speak from experience when I say I prefer to fly Singapore as they are number one."
Miinukset: "they walked past me twice with introductory drinks without stopping and offering me one, I then had to ask for one.. not good. the younger staff need to develop the wonderful standard of the older staff."

Plussat: "I dropped my scarf and only realized after I was seated. People were still boarding and I told a young man attendant and he found it and brought it to me. And he was such a gentleman too! Wish I knew his name but it was Frankfurt to JFK 835am flight on April 3rd. Thank you again!"

Miinukset: "The flight map was a mess. It either said we had 115 hours of flying time or 3.5 hours. Also, it showed the plane pointing in the opposite direction that we were flying in. A minor issue, but weird."
Miinukset: "Crew was very poor in responding to any requests. I am usually very quite and light on demands as i hardly hit call button on the seat to get any assistance, but during meal, I was asked about drink and I opted for Ginger ale. Crew said, she will get back to me and I did not hear from her for another 10 mins, then there was repeat serve of drinks and I was asked if i needed any thing and asked the same drink, but then I was asked to wait. After I had finished off my meal and ready to go to sleep, someone was bringing my drink out and I then respectfully say no to it as it was bit late after the meal and asked for water instead and did not like the look on the face of the crew member. I saw it happening with other passengers as well and was under the impression, the whole crew performance was pretty poor and SIA was not up to its high-standards as I always like to fly with them. I will look for different option next time"

Plussat: "Lounge experience was excellent. Service on the airline in general was excellent. Food and drinks we're just great. I enjoyed the sleeper seat that I was in. Everything was super smooth and I'm so glad I flew with Singapore Airlines."

Plussat: "Singapore Air is keeping up their standard which is a tough job. I give credit to them while doing so. They do have a high bar to keep. Singapore Air still pampers its travellers by providing hot towels for refreshment. Something that I don't enjoy while flying on other airlines. Keep up the good job."
Miinukset: "I saw a scotch tape taping over the arm of the seat! This is rather amusing and seems unacceptable. This is Singapore Air that we are talking about. Are we saying that Singapore Air do not have any proper repair kit to fix it without using scotch tape?? Being one of the world's 5-star airline, I think Singapore Airline can do better than that. :)"

Was not able to pay for checked luggage online. Even 24 hours before flying. More expensive at the airport.

Miinukset: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Miinukset: "Cabin temperature was very cool for me. Never used a blanket on an international flight before, and used a blanke on this whole 9 hour flight. Maybe a function of the seat location? Not sure but I was cold."

Miinukset: "I flew out on KLM on what felt like a new plane. Amazing service, seat, temperature, entertainment and food. In stark comparison Air France’s plane was old, too hot, poor entertainment choices and system and average food which for the French was surprising!"
Miinukset: "I was treated like I am not supposed to ask for food and they had one choice of meal for me while they had 2 for the rest."

The entertainment system kept crashing and forgetting what shows everyone on board we’re watching. There were no air vents to control. The games crashed constantly. The usb hubs didn’t work."

Miinukset: "I paid for a"premium" seat on one of the emergency exit rows for the extra legroom. This was next to a galley. The seat itself was no more than 18" wide (NO EXAGGERATION!!) if not less. I had to sit on an angle (one butt cheek at a time) for 9 yours. I do not have a big butt either. This seat should have been a discounted seat, not a premium seat. I am so angry about this, I will NEVER fly Air France again."

Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!"

Miinukset: "Walked all over the terminal looking for signage for Croatia Airlines. Information services sent me to the right location, but it was marked Air France. I asked serval Air France employees for Croatia Air. None new that Air France was the CA carrier. Finally found one who bothered to look it up on her computer and low and behold, AF was the carrier!"
Plussat: "1) USB charger and electric outlet 2) Availability of 2-across economy seats (for a price) 3) Vegetarian dinner option available and not too bad 4) Flight arrived on-time"

Miinukset: "It was raining in Prague so I can understand that luggage is going to get wet. But when we opened our luggage at least half of our clothes were wet. It would seem that the luggage sat out for quite a while prior to departure for that much soaking of clothes. Fortunately we are staying in Paris for a few days and can get our clothes dried out."
