"good service on site, but limited ability to contact the airline directly. Kayaks ability to make changes in a reservation is non existent"

Miinukset: "Our flight got delayed so American Airlines Auto switched us to a flight leaving a day later with a 17 hour layover. When I called to get it fixed I waited on hold for 30 minutes before I got through. Once we got on original flight they gave away seats we paid extra for and gave us no refund."

The crew was not very attentive during good service. It was more of a routine / rush job rather than making sure that everybody was served and got what they needed ( had to ask for my dinner as my row was skipped and was never offered coffee before landing). The crew seemed rather young and inexperienced. The food was below average!!!! Especially the chicken patty before landing - seriously!!!!! Why not include a little bit of Finnish / Scandinavian cuisine to emphasize the Finnair brand!!! Entertainment was also below average. There needs to be more variety - especially for the TV selection, which had only 2 options!!! No music and no games?? Also, it would be nice to have access to a flight map. Too few accessible WCs"

Miinukset: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."

Miinukset: "It is very difficult to get around CDG airport with a disabled person. There is no shuttle. By the time we got to check in, we were ten minutes late. They would not check us in, and we paid over $700 to change tickets to the next flight. When I complained, I was told to stop being rude or I would get no ticket at all. My mother is 94 years old and we did the best we could given the circumstance."

Miinukset: "People may think,that the delay of the flight has set my mood for this review but I can ensure it has most definitely not. With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Plussat: "there were problems getting the tickets issued in Rome. the worker at checkin kept us for 20 minutes without telling us what was going on. the flight left the gate on time, but then we sat for an hr before leaving. no information was given as to why the flight attendants were rude. after landing we sat for an hr on the runway waiting for a gate to be available."

Plussat: "I have been Flying Blue platinum for six years in a row. I often wondered why I never got a complimentary upgrade... Well, I can no longer complain: I was very kindly invited to move across that curtain. Of course, in short haul (2-hours+) A321 flights, all seats are created equal, business or main cabin... But the attention was there, excellent service, and gourmet food too. The whole experience was great. I'll go on flying Air France with fewer regrets."

Miinukset: "We were very late for take off. Don't understand why No USB plug. No charging spots. No video. No movie. No radio. No wifi."

Miinukset: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

I got an economy seat AT 70-80% if business seat cost and also was forced to pay for my bag to be checked at checkin - even tho the ticket I booked had 2 BAGS INCLUDED IN FARE. VERY UNACCEPTABLE."

Miinukset: "Boarding was handled poorly, flight was delays both outbound and return flights up to 3 hours each time, the food wasn’t good at all, there was no entertainment or any sort of flight info available. The seats were packed as tightly as possible. Bathroom on the flight was out of order."

Miinukset: "Better Boarding process , more comfortable seats to sleep where the foot rest goes up more . provide a pillow and some Hand cream and Kleenex in the bathrooms. The luggage allowance is not as good as most business class flights."

Also if you are a big person, the bulkhead seats and seats on the exit rows are narrower than other coach seats due to the folding video screen between seats. If you are a small spindly person, no problem but if you are a big person, the seats are uncomfortable."

Miinukset: "First Class cabin in need of repairs, seats broken, media is archaic, crew tries hard but their tools and services are minimal. The premium food options make coach anywhere else seem grand and there are no amenities like a pillow etc. I knew most of this when booking and I don't really drink or eat much but really this product is sub par. Still I have a seat which becomes a bed and for long haul flights that's what I want. So there is that. Also no on line checkin and never try to call the customer service.......it's very 1990's. Finally Norw Air had to sub contract out the equipment and crew on this Rome to NYC flight. I understand the sub contractors seat are better than NA's First Class seats. Stay Tuned.....this was my first R/T.......I may give it one more try and report back."

Miinukset: "The plane seemed like it was built in 1990. My wife's TV screen was black and white & we only had two working channels. There was no where to charge electriconics (which was unfortunate for a 9hr flight), and we waited on the tarmac in Newark from 9:10-10:40 because there "was no parking" for our plane. Lastly, (probably more Newark's fault) we waited another hour and ten minutes for our luggage at claim."

I would rather pay more for my ticket and have the airline include the necessary human needs such as water and luggage. Norwegian is serious bare bones and makes you pay A LOT extra for things like water."

Plussat: "Service was excellent. Dreamliner is comfy. Even in coach."

Plussat: "We knew that the gate would close 15-30min early since we traveled to Europe before. We also knew that checkin differs from American standards-you get a few minutes notice to board or get left behind."
Miinukset: "Warn travelers of exorbitant check bag fees. It's ok to pay 120 euro if you know you brought a lot of clothes for comfort, but if it's a surprise expense, not so fun."

Plussat: "There was no food or entertainment. Crew was adequate but polite. Consistent downfall of easyJet is it’s bsggage policy. I couldn’t even bring a handbag. Happy to check my suitcase but bringing s small backpack and s purse is necessary for men and women of all ages. I will say that unlike most of the European low cost airlines this was on time!"

Miinukset: "When I booked this I didn't see an opportunity to pay for our bags on the Kayak booking site When I checked in the charge was about $60.00 for each of 4 bags .... more than half of the ticket costs. I don't think I'll use Kayak again if they are not clear regarding paying for bags ahead and saving. It may have been my oversight but I'm both poorer and wiser. Easyjet seems to thrive on the baggage charges.... it's not comparing apples and apples when Kayak gives prices if the baggage charges are hidden. I would like Kayak to change it's program or provide an option so that any baggage charges are calculated in the "up front" cost quote so that airlines are compared "apples to apples"."

Miinukset: "A humiliating flight experience. Even though we paid for seating on the plane, we also paid for luggage. We arrived with 2 standard trolleys and before boarding the plane they forced us to send them. It did not help that I explained that in the suitcases there were things we needed for flying, valuables, and fragile objects. The crew member was rude and forced us to pull out our belongings: a laptop, a professional camera with a big lens, two books, two porcelain items we bought and we were afraid to send in the big suitcase, two bottles of drinks and two sandwiches. Passports and wallets. I begged the crewman to let me go with at least one suitcase, but he replied rudely that he did not care !!! There was a lot of room on the plane, in the cells. The crew agreed with me. They tried to help and brought me an orange garbage bag so I could put all my belongings in it ... really humiliating !!!"

Plussat: "You know i have never had a bad experience on any airline until till today at 2:15pm on September 29, 2017 while boarding the plane for flight number 4244 on easyjet airlines when i was told that i had to take my backpack that served as my purse for my last two weeks of travel and put eveything in my backpack, which included my wallet, passport, ipad, phone, meds, and ereader in my other regular size carry on. My son and i each had a carry on suitcase that met the requirment when I flew to Rome last friday on the exact same size plane. I was told I was NOT to have two types of carry on bags i was only ALOWED ONE and was NOT given the option of putting it under my seat. They were more than willing to charge me another 50 Euro to check my carry on bag. But first she asked to see my ticket to see if i was even allowed another checked bag. She DID NOT look at my ticket but immediately flipped my passport and saw that i was from the US AND TOLD ME I WAS ALLOWED ONLY ONE CARRY ON BAG! Yet this awesomely nice Canadian couple (they spoke to me after the flight landed in Paris and were shocked i was made to do this given what they carried on the plane) who had checked and paid for 3 bags and then turned around and carried on a cloth canvas bag for him, a black purse for her, a shopping bag bigger than her purse with items in it and two backpacks. What happened to being able to carry on a carry on suitcase and a purse for women or a lap top size bag, which in some cases is larger than my backpack?I have never hated anyone in my life but I am really tired of the world judging ALL AMERICANS under the same umbrella. I spent my hard earned money in Italy and to be treated with such disrespect on the way out of the country completley floored me! I will not ever fly back into Rome, Italy on any airline! These people are rude and do not care who they offend but Americans are supposed to kiss eveybody's butts! Sorry but I am mad and have written to the airline and i am sure nothing will happen."
Miinukset: "Also, there is a reason for the space under the seat in front of you. The crew seemed completely untrained to deal with a problem of no place to put bags. There were many samll backpacks and purses in overhead bins that should have been on the floor in front of the petson carrying them. My bag or nobody else's bag should have to ne put at the back of the plane while my seat is damn near at the front if the plane. They were not afraid to offend me but people from countries other than the US they wouldn't even make them put the bag under the seat in front of them."

Miinukset: "Orlando International Airport closed on Sep 9, at 5pm. Our tickets were for Sep 9 at 10pm. Hurricane Irma we tried to get out on the 6, 7, or 8th but Norwegian air did not have any flights available. Since we could not make the original flight on Sep 9, we never went."

Plussat: "Paid extra because we had a connecting flight. Had seats 1A and 1B but there are no controls at boarding so my carry ones had to go all the back to row 8. Nothing like swimming against the current to get your bags and not savinging any time."
Miinukset: "It's a cattle call airline. Don't expect anything else"

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed for 3 hours because of rain and when we got our bags everything inside was soaking wet. Never going on easy jet again, it ruined my cloths and gifts"

Plussat: "Everything went smoothly for the flight. Thanks to the good pilots and professionals!"
Miinukset: "I had measured my bag and it would have fit in the overhead bin, but I was charged 60euros by easy jet. I understand they must follow rules, and my suitcase was just a bit too big for their "sizer ". However the person in charge of checking people in was unnecessarily rude to me."

Plussat: "Not much. I dislike flying."
Miinukset: "If you pay for speedy boarding, then you need to know that you should check in at the "Special Assistance" desk at the check-in counter. EasyJet doesn't tell you that. The other thing is that this is not a cheap airline if you are checking bags. It works out to be pretty comparable to other carriers once you pay for bags and buy a seat."

Plussat: "Smooth take-off and landing, no major issues on the flight to report."
Miinukset: "We were taken by coach to a plane bound for Paris and were than told to disembark, to be taken to the correct plane for Palma! In the process a mother and her son that were left on the wrong plane had to be collected, before we could take off, which delayed the flight by 45 minutes."

Plussat: "We were book on a segment (Rome to London) of a Norwegian Air Flight from Rome to the US. We did not know this until our boarding passes came. There baggage policy made this very difficult. We flew over the first phases of our trip Air Berlin, Alitalia, and Ryan Air. We were alowed a take on piece of luggage and a small backpack on each flight. We had had no problem with this and were very careful to not overstep our limits. When we got to Easy Jet we had to repack our luggage and check one piece for approx $60(we were only allowed 1 piece per person) and then when we got to London we had to repack again back to our original 2 pieces in order not to have to check the large bag we had moved most of our belongings into which would have cost us an additional amoung. Easy Jet Is the only airline I have ever encountered with this insane policy and I am ery resentful of the time and cost of packing and repacking. Luckily we had a collapsible bag with us for an emergency and had arrived at the airport with a 3 hour time frame in which to do this."
Miinukset: "I will certainly be cautious in using KIWI again because of this and certainly won't ever use Easy Jet. I am now skeptical of Norwegian Air for putting us in this situation. Norwegian Air's food policy makes thier flight very cumbersome and uncomfortable. Theyt ignore requests to buy food if one hasn't done it earlier. I had no idea that on a transatlantic flight absolutely nothing would be offered, including water, except at a price. Because of the luggage debacle we had to time to buy anything"

Miinukset: "We thought we were saving so much money by using KAYAK. When we got to the airport, the airlines charged us a premium because we did not alert them we would be checking in our baggage. Kayak did not give us the option to check in our baggage, and we ended up paying more to check in our baggage than the airfare. There is no way to contact KAYAK and speak to a human being, so we will not be using this service ever again to book flights or anything else for that matter."

Miinukset: "The bait and switch of getting everybody onboard early, closing the doors and then announcing a 1:30 hour delay."

Plussat: "Crew were really nice"
Miinukset: "Queue and staff at Nice airport were so poor/slow. Also flight was delayed"

Miinukset: "Flight delayed, gate changes twice. By the time I get to the new gate, doors are closed. Asked the desk staff for assistance given the gate change. Claimed they had no information and couldn't help. Said flight was already in the air. Flight actually departed an additonal 30 minutes after the original delay time. Cheap flights justify poor customer service according to easyjet!"

Miinukset: "Easyjet evening flights are SYSTEMATICALLY late -- by up to 2 hours. I missed my train home from Rome FCO and lost the cost of the ticket. Boarding in London was chaotic. The walk to the gate was endless. On the plane, the staff moved my cabin bag without asking me, creating a moment of panic on arrival when I couldn't find it where I'd put it -- and then insisted they hadn't touched it. Altogether a terrible experience."

Plussat: "Flight from Munich to London was fine. No issues"
Miinukset: "On the return trip from London to Munich, I was fine with not knowing gate until 40 minutes before departure time, but then we entered a queue, were told the flight was delayed 9 minutes and then herded into a holding pen for over 30 minutes - possibly 45. I had a heavy backpack and did not know how much time I would be in that situation crowded by people. A plane arrived, disembarked, there was more time, and people were then let on from the front and back of the plane, with no direction which created chaos in the boarding process. The lack of communication and "herding" will significantly reduce the chance of me flying EasyJet in the future."

Miinukset: "Leg room was tight. No drinks were offered on a two hour flight."

Miinukset: "Seats were a bit uncomfortable and easyjet did not board one of my bags. I am still waiting for my bags to arrive and am not happy with that."

Plussat: "The flight being over."
Miinukset: "All of it was terrible. The staff didn't help much, the food was terrible, it was so uncomfortable, luggage was more than a hassle it was a disaster, and boarding was terrible. I never want to fly with easyJet ever again."

They rescheduled our flight for the next morning at 10:30 which did not give us enough time to catch our connecting flight from Paris to Miami . We had to cancel flight and lost all money . We had to take on the expense of a hotel for the second night then because we could find another flight out, all of our luggage was paid for and lost all that money also. Very disappointed with easy jet and how they handled it, they pretty much told us they didn't care about our connecting flight because they were not the carrier. Never will use again."
