It looks like American Airlines hopes to exchange your reality with virtuality, but our bodies that we are for some reason taking with us on that itinerary - suffer."

Plussat: "I was able to change my flight quickly by one phone call to Finnair customer service to this earlier flight. I got an upgrade to Business Class where they call me by my name. Food and beverages were very good and staff so friendly that I was surprised what has happened to them :)"

Miinukset: "Even though we had booked this flight in September we were never able to choose a seat for this flight. We kept trying and the only way we could pick a seat months and weeks ahead was if we bought an upgrade. We had already spent over $1000 to fly to Paris each and did not want to buy an upgrade. We just wanted the assignment of a seat. When we got closer to the date we were told that we would get a seat assignment at check in. At check in we were told we would get a seat assignment at the airport. At the airport we were told we would get a seat assignment at the GATE! At the GATE the attendant had difficulty finding our seats and finally found them with the help of another attendant. This adding extreme stress to a trip that was planned in September and should have been a pleasureable experience. Our seats were not together and we then had to go on the plane and ask other travelers to change their seats in order to be near each other. This was not our job! We ended up near each other but not together. Then when we arrived in Paris we noticed that our suitcases had been tagged STAND BY!!!!!! We were glad that we did not see that at the Philadelphia airport because it would have added even more stress to a long anticipated pleasure trip to Paris. Next time we will make sure that the tickets we are purchasing (FINNAIR) have nothing to do with American Airlines."

Miinukset: "I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future."

Miinukset: "The entertainment system was very old with minimum selection. My entertainment system actually stopped working. The seating area was very cramped. I called for service a couple of times from my seat, but nobody came."

Miinukset: "They have a terrible communication problem, they never communicated why the flight was late, they never communicated what they were doing or what was happening. Bad customer service. Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Miinukset: "Had to use a shoe horn to get into and out of my seat and I'm not a large guy. But really my harsh criticism comes from the loss of my girlfriends luggage. It was left behind in Paris on our way to Casablanca causing us to waste a day in Casablanca traveling back to the airport the grab the bag the next day. And to add injury to insult her bag was left behind in JFK during our transfer for our flight to Seattle. No big deal right, Delta will deliver the bag to our house the next day, wrong, we were told we have to go to the airport ourselves to get the bag."

Miinukset: "I flew out on KLM on what felt like a new plane. Amazing service, seat, temperature, entertainment and food. In stark comparison Air France’s plane was old, too hot, poor entertainment choices and system and average food which for the French was surprising!"

Miinukset: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Plussat: "1. Entertainment - Decent movie selection. I wished the angle of the screen in economy could be adjustable as well. Turkish Air does it better. Once the seat ahead of me reclines I dont have too much hope of saving my eyes from the awkward angles."
Miinukset: "1. Boarding - Learn from maybe Turkish Air who allocate people zones based on where you are seated in the plane. People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Makes it less likely for you stand around waiting for people as well people all the way in the back making contact with every possible human already seated in the aisles. 2. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about."

Plussat: "Food was good and again, staff were friendly and professional. Flight was on time and efficient dis-embark mentioned."

Plussat: "The free glass of red wine when the plane finally took off."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed. We were told that it was just a half an hour delay by the man that was informing us of the delay and then we were then told by a woman that it was going to be over an hour. We weren’t told any specifics of why the plane was delayed, other than: “ the engineers are looking at the issue now”. We received messages saying that the flight was cancelled but then we were told to ignore that. We were told that we would have an update every 10-15 minutes but by the time we had the next update was 1 hours later, we were told that the plane will depart at 15:50- which we did. But we also sat on the plane for an extra 2 hours or maybe even more (couldn’t bare watching the time at this point) because the man that was supposed to push the plane backwards in order to reverse the plane didn’t turn up so we then had to wait for all of the other planes to take off before we could. Eventually the plane set off at 18:20 and I got in France 19:30-20:00 ish?"

Miinukset: "Plane left 45 minutes late. No reason given either when waiting or after late boarding. I didn't eat as I tried to sleep byt narrow seats meant being woken constantly by fidgety neighbour. Fortunately the plane made up most of the lost time and I got my next Air France flight. This one was 50 minutes late departing."

Miinukset: "Through my own fault I ordered a different seat instead of window seat. :)"

Miinukset: "flight was delayed by 20 minutes Boarding got me through Sky priority quickly. Had to then wait in the boarding tunnel as the cabin was not ready. large queue Seats were exactly the same as economy so offered no added benefits apart from the meal on board parked in a distant area of the terminal and had to shuttle bus to 2E which meant a very tight transfer"

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed 3 times and when I was finally put on a flight that was leaving, they failed to check the connection in Paris (Left me 10 minutes to get from the aircraft to the other plane!) I was moved to SAA in the end after a truly traumatic time in Johannesburg. This is not the first time I have suffered at the hands of Air France sadly. Needless to say, I wont be booking with Air France again."

Plussat: "Plane was clean. Pilots made up some of departure delay time in the air between NCE & CDG."
Miinukset: "Unorganized boarding process and minimal info or announcements regarding delay. Failure to respect SkyPriority status at boarding were disappointing. (Staff allowed it to be a bit pushy and chaotic and people were able to force their way in line, ahead of those who had been waiting in line.) Seats were okay but no recline and underseat storage was small. (Backpack wouldn't fit underseat and had to be stored in overhead.) Passengers crowding from back of plane upon arrival made it hard to deplane and felt rude."

Since this is a regular flight it was hard to understand why check in staff wandered in late when time was already tight - let alone having a system failure as well to deal with. We were 50 minutes late leaving. This resulted in many of us either missing or having extremely tight (stressful) connections at CDG Paris."

Miinukset: "Like everyone says, you are cattle jammed in a sardine can. Barely any leg room and I’m 5’3. Other thoughts: the plane was old, my seat had a lump in it, zero entertainment, food was over priced. (3 Euro for a tiny water). This may seem petty but ultimately the appearance and function of the plane represents their company as a whole. From my first impressions, I’m thinking as a passenger is: I just hope the age and appearance of the plane isn’t reflective of their repairs and maintenance work as well."

Finally, the temperature was freezing & the bathrooms were disgusting."

Plussat: "The staff was OK for the most part. I liked the entertainment options and WIFI service was easily accessible."
Miinukset: "The seating was pretty bad. My seat couldn't recline (was in the last row) and the passenger in front of me reclined all the way back even when instructed to not recline so far (in passing, by flight attendants). So I spent an 11+ hour flight as a fairly tall person, in an extremely uncomfortable seating arrangement. I also noted my space issue with said passenger at the beginning of the flight and he still progressively went further back. I would've appreciated if flight attendants were more diligent about ensuring passengers are comfortable for long flights. Food accommodations were ok but they go heavy on bread for whatever reason."

Miinukset: "Seats are randomly assigned unless you pay them more. This causes last minute seating delays as people negotiate with others around them and you still don't end up with your companions or on an aisle/window seat of choice. Seats have an average amount of room by today's standards (less than Jet Blue but more than United). Crew is stingy with water. Flight was delayed with ever-changing departure times. Then boarding was started and stopped with no information."

Plussat: "Complimentary wine and the attendants and the pilot kept us well informed. Please inform travelors in the states that Iberia airline is operated under American Airlines"

Miinukset: "Boarding took ages. And there were no announcements telling passengers what was causing the delay."

Plussat: "We had one of the more legroom seats so that was nice"
Miinukset: "Everything else. I felt the stewardess from my aisle was extremely rude. She would ask someone a question and obviously they can’t hear her because their watching a movie, so she would wave her hand in their face. Another time she was telling me “excuse me” in German while I was watching a movie. I thought she was speaking to someone else since I did not understand German and then she very rudely said “excuseee me”. The food was not filling and they charged for drinks. She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."

Plussat: "Staff at the airport (ticket counter and check-in) were very polite."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed. Then, after flying to Berlin, the staff said we couldn't land there because of weather. They decided to fly us to Leipzig-Halle (another city a two hour drive away) and said they would provide busses to take us back to Berlin. But then, when we got to Leipzig, they said oh we might be able to fly you back to Berlin, just let us refuel. So we all sat in the plane for an hour and a half while they did that. Then, they announced that they couldn't go back to the Berlin airport because there were too many planes landing there. So they told us to get off the plane, go into the arrival hall and we would get more information there. When we got out of the plane, we were greeted by an information lady who informed us that no trains were running at that hour (it was about 11:30pm), and Eurowings would not provide us with accommodation or transportation back to Berlin. The information staff told us that our options were to personally pay for either a taxi back to Leipzig (two hours away!) or rent a car, or wait until morning to take a bus or train. I was able to stay with a friend in the city, and paid to take a bus to Berlin the next day, but what about everyone else who didn't know people in Leipzig and had to fend for themselves? As a young woman traveling by myself in a foreign country, landing in an unexpected city in the middle of the night, it could have been a potentially dangerous situation. I am extremely frustrated with Eurowings. I paid them to take me to Berlin, and they didn't. I talked to customer service on the phone, and they told me that I should make my own travel plans to return to Berlin and they would reimburse me later. Aside from the fact that there weren't buses, trains or flights running till the next morning - I shouldn't have to make my own travel plans! My plans were to fly Eurowings from Duesseldorf to Tegel, and they should be responsible for getting me there. I am never flying Eurowings again, and sharing the story with any friends who travel in Europe. They absolutely do not care about their customers."

Plussat: "Everyone was nice."
Miinukset: "When we finally were able to board it went smoothly. The crew was nice, but nothing amazing. Not very comfortable but not surprised for a short flight. There was no “food”. There was no “entertainment”. Kayak was great for information and reminders!!!"

Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled; waited in the Rome airport for over 8 hours waiting for assistance and for a new flight for tomorrow and then another 2 hours we had to wait for a shuttle to take us to the hotel. By far worst airport/airline experience by far. Will never book with Austrian/Eurowings ever again."

Miinukset: "The entire process to get on a bus to go to flight was delayed by over 15 minutes so the ticket agent could fix one person's flight. There were over 40 people waiting to board the bus. Terrible."

Miinukset: "When I arrived at the airport in Naples it was impossible to find the check in desk. I asked at Lufthansa and was told that someone would show up at 09:50 but my flight left at 08:40. I was then told that I should be looking for Eurowings. Not a problem except that it is very unclear where their check in desk was. I stood around for 20 minutes asking anyone who would help me where the desk was. We were finally notified at 8:40 that eurowings was the last desk in the aisle."

Miinukset: "I could not check in online the evening prior as there were no more standard seats to select, and therefore could not purchase an extra check-in bag with online prices. I called Eurowings and they advised to just go to the airport and check-in. Was forced to pay a much higher price at the check-in counter at the airport. Either the online system has been set up to rip off the consumer or this is a farce."

Plussat: "Very nice plane with the most legroom I’ve ever had"

Plussat: "We missed this flight, so there was really nothing to like. However, the lady at the Swiss help desk was extremely kind and helpful in finding us an alternate flight."
Miinukset: "When I booked the itinerary clearly stated that this would be a Swiss Air flight. We were confused when they did not give us our boarding passing for our connecting flight at our original departure desk, and were told we would receive the boarding passes at the gate in Zurich. I never received any notice about his being a Eurowings flight or instructions to check in online. Our incoming flight to Zurich was delayed at least a half hour and it took us a while to get to the gate for our connecting flight. When we arrived, the gate had just been closed and we were told we were not even on the ledger. We were told we would have needed to get our boarding passes at the Swiss Sor desk and required prior check in to be on the passenger list. We were also very confused about the fact that this was a eurowings fight even though our booking indicated Swiss. This has never happened to us before. We would have needed additional instructions for prior check in, and had we been on the passenger list perhaps the plane would have waited for us."

Miinukset: "I travelled with my two children and they have given us three completely separate seats. I tried to ask the crew to help but they refused, both ground crew and in flight crew. We have flown with both Wizz Air and Easyjet this summer and those airlines have always assigned us seats together. Lufthansa did also. No idea why it was not possible for Eurowings. Also, crew were completely unhelpful, did not want to lift a finger for us. Luckily, a kind lady switched seats with me so I could sit next to my youngest son. Would definitely think twice about flying Eurowings again..."

Miinukset: "The baggage policy was a bit unclear as to what those with the base fare could bring. We ended up having to cram a backpack into the carry-on bag to bring it aboard. We had to check one bag when we checked-in. It cost about 52 euros."

Miinukset: "It is worth the price we paid for our round trip tickets. We were scrunched in, there are no frills. There is no food unless you want to buy it. Like I said, no frills, but worth the cheap ticket."

Plussat: "The online tutorials are very helpful. Once the counters were open it was very easy to check our luggage and the option for holding the cabin bag is a plus."

I've traveling so many places with many carriers but easyJet by far is the worst in term of customer service particularly from Copenhagen airport. I was departing from Paris and the staffs were very helpful and friendly."

Miinukset: "Even in low fare airlines you're allowed to have one piece of luggage and hand luggage with you. easyJet allows only one hand luggage, but they don't clarify that clearly in their rules. They are telling that first in the gate and then they charge for extra £50 for hand luggage. I'm going to avoid flying easyJet in the future."

Plussat: "All was great during take off and but landing was a bit of a hard bump. Non of the hot food was available as the oven was broken."

Miinukset: "I tried to explain to the Kiwi associates 10 hours before departure that San Marco in Venice was flooded and that there was no way to get out of the hotel and to the airport. I tried to change my flight and was told that nothing could be done but that I would get a call in 2 -4 hours with a solution but did not. I missed the flight and fear that I will miss my connection. Stuck."

Miinukset: "They charge you for a carry on and Budapest AirPort everything is very complicate so you can not pay for the suitcase when you check in you have to go to other office and then come back were you started. At the plane they don’t give you nothing no water, nothing. They are no kind."

The extra long wait to receive the luggage at baggage claim. The leadership of the company needs to either decide to fix this or find other work. Everything stated above is a reflection of leadership not taking ownership."

Miinukset: "The terminal was vary fare, no one to ask you supposed to keep some body at main terminal to guides us where to , I should say every body suffered today"

Plussat: "For a trip lasting less than 2 hours, an agent told me a small personal bag was allowed. After waiting on a huge line to board my plane, turns out I had to shove my bag into my carry on luggage because I was misguided by the EasyJet agent entirely. Awful service in comparison to line lengths and rules, idiotic overlook by staff and generally subpar airline service."
Miinukset: "Staff agent said a tiny carry on purse was allowed (mine was so small that it could’ve easily slipped into the pocket of the back of the seat in front of me). When I was ready to board I was rushed to stuff my bag in my carry on despite being told previously it was allowed. Also an incident where another passengers water bottle spilled onto my carry on (no doubtedly) because he was forced to stuff the tiniest of all things into his carry luggage) was handled very poorly by staff, with annoyance that we brought it to attention."

Miinukset: "Easy jet exists today because we, customers have little choice. It’s a typical example of a company that has a good market positioning but is extremely poorly managed. The day a customer centric airline will enter the market, easy jet will gently disappear. The exact thing happened with frech taxis the day uber entered the french market"

Plussat: "Liverpool airport is really easy to arrive at and get to your gate. easyJet have some relaxed Liverpool staff and with Liverpool airport and easyJet Liverpool staff you have a relaxed combination."

Plussat: "Nothing"
Miinukset: "Check in was dreadful. Staff was not helpful. We were running late due to a connection and the employee told us to wait in line bc there was plenty of time. 15 minutes later and 15 minutes before boarding I went to front again where another woman said yes you need to check bags. Your site is not clear on baggage but that is pricey and should be stated more clearly. The range you state is nonsense. They charge the highest rate listed. There is no range. We boarded a bus to the plane which was also dreadful. We were in very last row. The only positive was that the flight was short!"

Plussat: "NOTHING"
Miinukset: "Absolute worst experience in 15 years of frequent travel. EasyJet flight was cancelled from Paris to Nice incurring and additional 417 euro flight with Air France and 250 euro TAXI from Toulon to nice. Absolute absurdity as there were no other flights to Nice for 2 days. Easy jet then OVERBOOKED me from Nice to Paris. I had to fly Air France AGAIN, an additional 380 euro and I missed my connecting flight from Paris to jfk costing me an additional $800USD. How is this even allowed? WORST company to have ever existed, they must go out of business, contacting BBB and getting the word out on this disgusting company."

Plussat: "Efficient, fast, decent legroom as we were on the exit row."
Miinukset: "No frills. No drinks or snacks. Everything is an extra charge however the flight was super short, so no big deal."

Plussat: "Crew are friendly and helpful."

Miinukset: "My wife and I were traveling to Paris for our Honeymoon. Due to traffic, an accident, and a flat tire, it took us 3 hours to get to the Airport, even though it was a 1 hour ride. We were not allowed to check our luggage on to the plane because we were 1 minute late. Our flight was scheduled for 18:00 and the cut off for the luggage check was at 17:20. The EasyJet employees were very rude telling us we were late, despite the fact that there were people checking their bags on to that flight as we spoke. We will never again use EasyJet. Completely ruined our Honeymoon."

Miinukset: "My flight was delayed over an hour so I missed another flight on another airline now I am stuck at the airport for 24 hours until the next flight"

Miinukset: "I was charged $50 for my luggage. I had one check in luggage and the price seemed very excessive. The attendant did not want to work with me in terms of lowering the price"

Plussat: "the plane was clean"
Miinukset: "the whole boarding process is so bad. There are no clearly marked lines. People get in the priority line unknowingly and then get sent the back of the economy line because they didn't know. Not knowing the gate until 60 minutes before the flight is also annoying - you walk through security and then it can be 1 of 90 gates. Checking in is ridiculous too - you can wait in line and then be told 'we are checking people in for this flight yet'. But there are no signs saying what flights can check in. the baggage restrictions are ridiculous too. We saw several people have to check their bags even though they easily fit in the overhead. All in all - easyjet is a cheap flight but you get what you pay for. I will mostly likely never fly with them again."

Miinukset: "We were a family of 4 traveling to Paris from Barcelona and had minimal luggage, yet the attendant singled us out and made us pay 60 Euro per bag to stow our carry-on bags. We had small book bags/purses and I tried to explain that they were our purses. She wouldn't listen. Our luggage was taken, we paid 60 Euro for 3 pieces to be stowed. Once we got on the plane, there were at least 14 people that boarded with a small roller carryon (like ours) and a backpack purse or small backpack. There was also plenty of room in the overhead bins as the flight was not full. In addition, one of our carry-on bags was torn apart by the time we arrived in Paris---the wheels were broken off and it would no longer roll. I am not sure why we were singled out when others had the same or much bigger luggage on the plane. Disappointed."

Miinukset: "They took half of the plane's carry on luggage and registered them as checked luggage, the other half of the passengers had several pieces of luggage and took most of the space of the plane's stowage. We had to take out all the electronics that we had on our carry ons because they failed to crack how many pieces of luggage every passenger had at the beginning."

Plussat: "We were delayed but the flight was pleasant and they kept us in the know. Very important. Staff was friendly and courteous on our short flight. Checking in and the bag collect all went easily. If fly them again."
Miinukset: "Keep an eye on costs. You pay for everything. So be aware. But it was not an issue."
