  • Lentojen hinnat Dubrovnikiin ovat melko tasaiset vuoden ympäri. Ainoastaan alkukeväällä, rantalomakauden startatessa kaupungissa, lentojen hinnat yleensä nousevat. Myös joulukuu on suosittua ja lentojen puolesta normaalia kalliimpaa matkustusaikaa. Adrianmeren rantakaupungissa Dubrovnikissa on helppo yhdistää ranta- ja kaupunkiloma, mikä tekeekin kroatialaiskaupungista suositun kesäkohteen. Pelkät lennot voi saada kesälle halvalla, mutta majoitusten hinnat ovat kevät- ja kesäkaudella korkeimmillaan.
  • Dubrovnik on hyvä kohde viikonloppulomalle, sillä lentojen kesto Helsinki-Vantaalta Dubrovnikiin on lyhimmillään alle kolme tuntia. Lentoyhteydet ovat kätevät, eikä Kroatian matkaajien tarvitse kärsiä aikaerosta. Kroatian aika on vain tunnin Suomen aikaa jäljessä.
  • Dubrovnikin lennot laskeutuvat Dubrovnikin lentokentälle (Zračna luka Dubrovnik), joka sijaitsee Čilipin kylässä. Lentokentältä on matkaa Dubrovnikin ydinkeskustaan noin 15 kilometriä, ja matka keskustaan taittuu kätevimmin Atlas Shuttle Bus -bussilla. Matka-aika on noin puoli tuntia, ja matkalippu maksaa noin 40 Kroatian kunaa (noin 5,40 euroa). Kaupunkialueelle saavuttuasi voit jäädä bussista pois joko vanhassa kaupungissa, Pila-nimellä tunnetuilla vanhan kaupungin porteilla, tai Dubrovnikin keskusbussiasemalla. Liput bussiin suositellaan ostettavaksi lentokentän sisältä, Atlasin tiskiltä. Voit ostaa matkalipun myös etukäteen netin kautta. Lentokenttäbussit starttaavat kentältä aina noin 20–30 minuuttia lennon saapumisen jälkeen. (Tiedot tarkistettu 23.6.2018.)
  • Jos nappaat hotellillesi mieluiten taksin, löydät taksihinnaston B-rakennuksen saapuvien lentojen aulasta. Dubrovnikin takseilla on siis kentältä kiinteä hinnasto. Tuloaulan taksi-infopiste on merkitty keltaisella värillä, ja taksit odottavat matkustajia terminaalin ulkopuolella. Keskustaan kulkeville taksi ei ole edullisin kulkuväline, sillä normaalisti taksimatka kaupungin keskustaan maksaa noin 250–270 kunaa (noin 33,90–36,60 euroa). (Tiedot tarkistettu 23.6.2018.)
  • Kroatia on EU-maa, mutta ei Schengen-alueen jäsenmaa, joten varaudu todistamaan henkilöllisyytesi Dubrovnikin lentokentällä. Mikäli et halua kantaa mukanasi passia, myös virallinen henkilökortti käy matkustusasiakirjaksi Kroatian lentokentillä.

Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.

Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.

Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.

Nopeaa toimintaa, kaikki sujui hyvin.

Matkatavaratietomme puuttuivat järjestelmästä. Turhaa vaivaa moisesta asiasta. Valitin suoraan Finnairille.

Kaikki toimii suunnitellusti, ruokaa tai viihettä en käyttänyt.

Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Friendly and professional crew

Kun Finnair ei tarjoa muuta kuin mehua ja vettä niin olisi mukavaa että edes voisi ostaa jotain vähän laadukkaampaa syötävää kuin nuudeleita!

Ilmainen kahvi olihan kiva. Lento myöhässä yli 2 h Hesan päässä odotettiin rappusia. Huh huh. On se vaikeeta!

Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.

Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.

Myöhässä taas.

Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.

Tällä lennolle kaikki sujui hienosti. Henkilökunta toimi ammattitaitoisesti ja lentäjät olivat huippu ammattilaisia, nousut ja laskut olivat hallittua. Kiitos Finnair.

Jokin ongelma saapuessa jolloin bussikuljetus ja kävely toisesta päästä kenttää… kangasmaski käskettiin vaihtaa kesken lennon vaikka osa oli ilman saapuessakin koneeseen Lentolippujen kaivaminen oli haastavaa,sitten keksin liittää finskin appiin

Minulla oli aivan kova nälkä ja halusin ostaa lentokoneessa leivän mutta valitettavasti minä olen nuori enkä omista luottokorttia ja en saanut koneesta mitään koska normaali electron maksu kortti ei kelvannut eikä käteinen kelvannut..

Business class crew was extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast likewise - tasty, healthy and substantial. All in all, the flight itself was great, so kudos to Finnair. What a contrast, then, to the pitiable Terminal 8 at JFK, where it was almost impossible to even find a seat (no exaggeration!) before security.

Twice I called to see if A meal was served on the 1st class flight and was told no. So no gluten free meal for my wife and we purchased meals to carry on with us. Annoyed.

Plussat: "The crew was friendly. Baggage arrive safely. But the repeated commercial interruptions trying to sell things made me wonder if it was commission based - a nap was not possible from the announcements but you could buy things duty free. I am glad it was a short flight. A new plane."
Miinukset: "There are no queues. A free for all to load and unload the plane. If you are looking for Swiss order, look elsewhere. Nothing is free, not water (1.5 euro) or any other beverages or anything else. We paid double what the flight should cost to not even be offered water. The seats were lightly padded to maximize seats. There was a small amount of leg room but some. No power outlets, wifi or media. The worst aspect is I bought a flight on Baltic Air from Tallinn to Riga and had the price from Riga to Paris on the next tab on kayak. I bought the ticket from Tallin to Riga then flipped to buy Riga to Paris only to learn it was a bait price. The price was actually $200 more. Baltic would not refund the first flight (within minutes) so we were stuck to either walk away from our 2 tickets to Riga or pay the bait and switch rate. We begrudgingly paid 400 (200 each) euro MORE than the initial price shown so we could fly out of Riga back to Paris (to be back in Paris by Jan 7). A non alcoholic beverage, a small snack, and power access would be helpful. Ground crew helping with order would be helpful. I was shoved and run over trying to get onto and off the plane. It is the wild west of flying except the plane is new...oh, and it is 30 euro if you do not check in online ahead. But you will still need to stand in line to check a bag (where they can issue you a boarding pass)."

Ask for payment for baggage, does something with my credit card- then tells me I need to go to another desk to pay. So inefficient. This on top of her and her gate buddy screwing around at the desk throwing things at each other. Professionalism is not here. To top it off, the plane sat on the tarmac for 40 minutes and we just about missed our connection. Dirty plane too, gum stains on carpet and dirty seats. Will not fly with these clowns again."

The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"
Miinukset: "We had to pay for 3 pieces of luggage, including my hand luggage. It came to about $150 dollars. When i booked the flight, it did not indicate anything about this extra change so be ware of this. The flight itself was quite inexpensive."

Miinukset: "This airline company looks a like person who is begging for money. First time in my life I paid for the luggage. 40 Euros!!! what for? Apparently Air Baltic has no clue about how to run a service business. Somebody has to teach them this naked reality: IN SERVICE BUSINESS YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE YOUR MAJOR MARKETING ASSETS! They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

Miinukset: "In Stockholm they denied my boarding to Riga and Moscow as they told me that I need Shengen visa. When I was buying ticket I wasn't informed that I need to have Visa. I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket."
Miinukset: "I was flying transit, but I had to go through the check-in in Paris. At the check-in they started to make problems about my carry-on luggage. I had just two flights from the United States behind me and no problems at all and suddenly I can't fly with my carry-on luggage? I didn't like the AirBaltic check-in service."

Miinukset: "Expensive tickets but no complimentary beverages and snacks for a 2 hour flight, overpriced snacks in the flight cafe. 3H delay!!!! with no understandable explanation in English and no explanation in Latvian from the captain - airBaltic is a Latvian airline! Other airlines use two languages - national and English"
Plussat: "Everything was very smooth and the crew was very attentive."

Miinukset: "We got disembarked from the aircraft for technical reasons, then they towed the same aircraft to the next gate and off we were. Delay almost two hours."
Miinukset: "No fee food or beverages at all. Attendants were very pleasant. Since this is an economy airline there reallly is no complaint. Our flight was full and boarding went smoothly."
Plussat: "They did provide a 6 euro food voucher once it was clear the flight was going to be over 2 hours late. The flight and land crew did their best to keep everyone calm under bad circumstances."
Miinukset: "Flight was just under 3 hours late (long enough to kill most of the day, but just under what is needed to pay compensation). First they said it was problems in Amsterdam, then problems with the plane, then traffic in Amsterdam. It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). I hate that they charge 2.5 euros for water on the flight. Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."

Plussat: "Flight was on time which was surprising given a late snow storm in Tallinn."
Miinukset: "The flight was fully booked, and the system re-assigned seats for a number of passengers. This created confusion as passengers arrived to their assigned seats to find other passengers in the seats. There also appeared to be a miscommunication between the crew as some crew members said to passengers whose seats were taken they should sit anywhere, whereas other crew members tried to get everyone back in their assigned seats. This was frustrating. Also the overhead bin lockers are very difficult to open"

Plussat: "Modern aircraft. Quick flight. Quick delivery of baggage at terminal. Relieved that baggage from BKK-KBP-RIX was not lost nor delayed."
Miinukset: "It was cold and I was not dressed for the bus to the aircraft, but instead for the tropics where I had been. The toilet was not centered for stand - up use for men. Thus had to kneel in order to use. This booked by UIA, but the carrier was Air Baltic, which led to some confusion as to which airline to go to for boarding."
Miinukset: "I tried to check in on my phone and the app did not allow me. The only way was buying lunch in order to move on with the check in process. I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

Plussat: "Plenty of legroom, friendly crew"
Miinukset: "Delays were not communicated at all. Plane was very old with no seat back entertainment or in flight magazine. A large piece of the plane fell off on takeoff and hit a passenger in the head. The crew tried to jam it back in place but it was obvious it would not stay put. It fell off two more times."

Miinukset: "You must arrange for checked baggage and meals on the website at least a day before the flight, or pay $100 per bag at the airport and be left without food or water . Only saved by buying small snacks and water on board."
Plussat: "It's nice that Norwegian loads from both ends of the plane...it would be better if people could read or listen to those instructions"
Miinukset: "I get that it is a budget airline, but water. Come on. It's water. I'm not asking for food or there to be an entertainment system for the 7hour flight, there's not, or USB chargers, there aren't, but the least you could do is offer people some free water when you come up and down the aisle weaving"

Plussat: "What I liked was the cleaness of the premium cabin on the Dreamliner was a plus. Seat 5A was roomy enough for a 5'4" female. The food that was included with my fare was good but I felt like a giant because the portions were packaged in these tiny little boxes and the plastic utensils where so small that it was hard to wrap your fingers around them to eat your food. The crew was attentive and the pilot spoke clearly when giving announcements which was a plus for me because I don't hear very well inside an airplane."
Miinukset: "What I didn't like was that when you requested Business Class when booking your flight and you had the option to choose Business Class and your boarding pass and receipt states, "Business Class" on it, you think you are GETTING Business Class. However, that wasn't the case. The seats in the Premium Cabin are NOT Business Class. The seats do not lay completely flat. They only reclined back to to about half way and when the passenger in front of you have their seat reclined back, you have to pull on their head rest in order to get out of your seat. But the seats did have a foot rest which reclined with your seat. So, it could have been worse. In my defense, I did not know that this airline markets itself as a premium low fare airline. Had I known, I either would have not booked the ticket and went to BA or would have less expectations."
Plussat: "Was not clear that you had to order dinner in advance Not clear that my luggage would only go to Paris and not all the way to Lithuania"
Plussat: "New equipment Boeing 787 Dreamliner"
Miinukset: "I had to pay for first pice of laggige and for food"
Plussat: "Boarding was fairly fast"
Miinukset: "After our initial meal, we got no more drinks or snacks for 8 hours. We were hungry and thirsty - and we were in premium seats. Perhaps they can serve the second meal sooner or at least offer some chips or snacks a few hours after the first meal. This was not an overnight flight."
Miinukset: "Delay"
Plussat: "It was very stressful. We got to the airport at krakow and were told that we need to pay for luggage. It was an international flight that normally allows 1 free luggage and carry on. The price they quoted to pay for luggage was ridiculous, over 1k eur."
Miinukset: "No food or water offered during the whole flight."
Miinukset: "The seats are wider than coach and you have more leg room but they aren't very comfortable. No back support and I felt like I was always sliding off my seat. My footrest didn't work properly, and my husband's didn't work at all on the flight to Norway. The food was limited and really bad. In fact, my husband got sick from the chicken he ate, and the steak I got was like a grey eraser. I took one bite and threw the rest away. They didn't have enough food to offer me something else (remember, this is premium economy), and the flight attendant was irritated and short with me. They don't have any pillows on the flight and the "blanket" they give you is basically a sheet folded in two sewn together, and doesn't keep you warm at all. I felt like I was on a discount airline, but I didn't get the discount! I will not fly with Norwegian again."
Miinukset: "I had to sleep on the cold airport floor by myself because every hotel close to the airport was full. Those 5 minutes late caused me a very miserable next 24 hours sitting at the airport."
Miinukset: "Kind of a bumpy landing and the flight was delayed. Baggage check in terminals were down as well, which caused quite a bit of delay"
Plussat: "The flight attendants were nice."
Miinukset: "There is not business class even though you pay business class fares. Their seats are not comfortable. The food was okay. The clincher for me was that they charge by the kilo for excess baggage. I had just gotten married and we were moving my wife to Asia to live with me. We had 1 extra bag and they would not even listen to our situation. They charged me $600 for an extra bag. I will never fly Norwegian Airways again. No consideration for their passengers. The bottom line - do not fly Norwegian Airlines..."
Plussat: "The flight from Rome to Oakland was comfortable, even in economy class. Bags and meals were free, which is a nice touch, and on-board entertainment was exceptional. The hot dinner was decent: chicken or meat ravioli."
Miinukset: "There were no choices for the lunch: a sandwich with no meat. The bathroom was out of paper towels half way throught the flight, and out of tp near the end."
Plussat: "Comfortable seats, good air con, leg room excellent, great prompt service"
Miinukset: "Nothing"

Miinukset: "Flew Norwegian air on two consecutive flights. Both were late arrivals."

Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."
Plussat: "The crew was very friendly and helpful. The boarding process was fast and efficient. The crew was very fast in their response time especially when food was ordered. The entertainment was probably my favorite part of the ride because it helped pass the time."
Plussat: "Service was top notch."

Miinukset: "Delayed the flight once we were already boarded so that added two hours if sitting to an 11+ hour flight and WATER is not made available. That's crazy!"
Plussat: "Oslo airport was efficient and easy to get through quickly."

Miinukset: "Economy seat, no earphones, terrible food. This was a business class ticket."
Miinukset: "Last minute switch to a different substandard carrier (hi fly) and different aircraft is standard operating procedure. A huge waste of money specially if you are paying extra for business class."
Plussat: "I received a meal and a breakfast to go for no additional charge."
Miinukset: "I booked a Norwegian airlines flight but it was actually run by another airline. The movie selection was bad and the touch screen did not work very well. The seat were cramped and they did not pass out blankets."
Plussat: "I arrived safely in Paris at a cheaper rate. Checking was quick. A lot of agents in JFK to check in."
Miinukset: "10kg on board including your purse... really? Yes. Paying extra money for a glass of water!!! Not acceptable... Only snack food. No hot meal even if you wish to pay extra. Also don't expect a fork or a paper plate to eat your wrap sandwich. Paying extra for a cover to stay warm... don't forget to bring a scarf. The crew spent their time chatting in the back of the plane."
Plussat: "Overall good service with timely information."
Miinukset: "50 minutes delay. The message from Kayak update stated terminal B and I needed to go all the way to Terminal A with luggage. A bit of exercise!"
Miinukset: "I will not fly this airline again if I can help it. $3 for a bottle of water? Buy a blanket? I fly international flights frequently...I have never experienced such poor service on any other airlines. The crew was untrained and some even dancing in the back of the plane. I would not want to trust my life to such people if there was an emergency on board."

Miinukset: "When called ahead to book vegetarian meal, wait times were so long I gave up. No meal accomodations were made. Touch screen on in flight monitor didn't work Arrived early but waited on tarmac in front of gate for 1 hour!!!!"
Plussat: "The engine purred like a kitten. Seats, free videos, easy access to order drinks & food w tap of your finger. Friendly, courteous greets you w a warm smile. Spacious airplane."
Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("
Plussat: "The crew was reasonably customer-friendly and the individual entertainment options made long flight easier, and economy class at the back of the airplane was as comfortable as can be expected."
Miinukset: "The pre-boarding and boarding experience was dismal, with extended delays requiring leaving the gate area accompanied by vague explanations and conflicting instructions about when to return to the gate, when to expect an update, and how to expect the update to be communicated. Instead, ground agents were rude and blamed passengers' confusion on us rather than their own lack of coordination and communication among themselves."
Miinukset: "They did not have the vegetarian meal that I Pre ordered and paid for. I was very disappointed."
Plussat: "The plane is in great condition. Simple and gets you from point A to point B."
Miinukset: "Honestly I cannot think of anything I didn't like. I do think that food options pre flight should be better communicated. I had booked my food earlier but it seemed few of the other passengers had or knew they had to pre book food or order inflght."

Miinukset: "Didn't know food had to be pre-ordered. 9.5 hour flight. Luckily I had a meal included from Kayak but the person next to me had nothing. Very awkward."
