Plussat: "The flight attendants were lovely, they worked smoothly and did their best to manage an unpleasant situation. The facilities are also excellent, and as always, the fresh flowers and hand lotion and such in the toilets was a nice touch."
Miinukset: "The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care."

Good planes overall, but horrible customer service. I will never fly Turkish again. I prefer to pay more and have decent customer service and no flights cancellations in the middle of my vacation."
Miinukset: "Flight was delayed by 4.5 hours. We got a few drinks and snacks while waiting. No real information was provided and the flight was delayed by one hour at a time. Kids were tired and hungry. Crew did not help. After a few hours we got some blankets. We had to sleep on the airport's floor. We had to buy food. We did not know what will happen with our connection flights that most of the passengers missed because of the delay. This was a nightmare!"

Miinukset: "everything else. The franfurt airport closure made me miss school because they did not offer extra flights to accommodate all the displaced travelers. I had to stay in the Frankfurt airport for a FULL EXTRA DAY, and every time I tried to get a new ticket, or ask anyone for help, I was given the run around. No one was helpful. I talked to about a dozen Lufthansa employees that day and only one was helpful at all. It was a hellish nightmare. Before my last flight, I was furious with how I had been treated all day and a horrible Lufthansa woman yelled at me for being upset about the situation. Then, when after much hassle I finally got to my destination, I was told my baggage was lost. That was on thursday and I still have not gotten it. i am never flying lufhansa again. This was the worst trip of my entire life."

Miinukset: "I got a wrong flight from you, different than the one initially selected, upon my payment !...with 6 hours overlay instead of 50 minutes. For that I had to pay extra $300 !"

Miinukset: "I'm very uncomfortable when I don't have clear access to the aisle. I asked the gate agent if she had any aisle seats available and she said no. So I asked if there were any upgrade seats available and she said yes for 300 Euros. They were actually three-quarters of the way boarded when I ask a question so realistically they wouldn't have sold that seat. But they refused give it away. So they're more interested in making money then making a customer comfortable."

The hot snack offered before arrival at Denver was served in the final 50 minutes of the 10 plus hour flight. This meant that the service and tray collection, including the cabin preparation for landing was very rushed."

I also lost my business class upgrade and was told there was nothing they could do about it."

The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy."

We had no say in the rebooking - they just said wait you will get an email. The SAS workers need to be trained - how about putting up a sign that says "this line for parking vouchers ony'ly" when 300 people are lined up for assistance."

I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

Miinukset: "At self check-in, we received a message that we had been placed on standby and that our seats were no longer guaranteed (for the SECOND time this trip with no explanation despite our having purchased our tickets quite some time ago). We were directed to the gate for questions. No one manned the gate until right before boarding. We spent the entire time in a panic trying to figure out how else we could get to our destination in time for a wedding. When we finally talked to someone at the counter, he said this was just normal procedure to be able to shuffle seats. This is not normal. I have flown with many airlines, and I cannot imagine it is ever "normal" policy to tell people they have been downgraded to standby until just before the flight. So much anxiety. Also, the flight was delayed, and the crew had no communication about gates or any other information (within their OWN AIRLINE) for those with connecting flights."
Plussat: "I chose SAS since I have used this airline on most of my travels to Norway. It has been without any problems and I highly recommend it. The staff all try to make you comfortable and do not hesitate to get whatever you ask for. I have no plan to change plane. Thank you."

Miinukset: "The crew forgot to start serving the final meal until 40 minutes before we landed which resulted in them nearly throwing food at people so that they could quickly get through the plane and sit again before descent. I was not able to choose my seat and was seated in the back of the plane. Consequently this meant that every parent on the plane with two-year-olds decided that the best place to let them stretch their little legs was back by me. I work with small children so I understand that when they reach that age all they want to do is kick and punch, but I didn't want to end my vacation by having half a dozen two-year-olds punch my leg or try to crawl under my chair as they wandered nearby. I still have bruises."
