Regardless, my expectation of German airports and German engineering is high, but things we take granted in US like escalators are a luxury in Germany and clear directions are missing... on the oncoming flight we had to wait for a door to be unlocked while everyone was stuck in the aisle way and stairs.."

Miinukset: "The seats in the economy class are too small. Not once did I have someone sitting next to me who could actually fit in his seat. They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."

Plussat: "The professionalism and warmth of the staff, the food, the wet towels before a meal. We appreciated the constant supply of beverages to keep us hydrated."
Miinukset: "The disjointed announcements which kept disrupting the movie we were watching. It would be helpful to have one single announcement instead of breaking it up into several smaller units. We had a serious issue with a passenger in front of us who kept jamming his seat back into our knees. The flight staff did a great job of trying to resolve the issue. But the bottom line is that the seats are way too close together for such a long flight."

Miinukset: "The seat pitch is inhumane. I could barely fit into the seat without hitting my knees on the seat in front. And that was before the person ahead of me reclined. It's not like Lufthansa is a budget airline. It's a full-fledged major carrier charging full-fledged prices. Seriously, I was expecting more."
Plussat: "I want to have it. I was expecting a serious and major company as yourself to provide it in a 3.t hours flight. This is how low cost / charters looks like."
Miinukset: "I area where we did the check-in is horrible. I understand there are security issues but in Frankfurt airport it is much better then Munich and I expect you to find the answer how to have both needs."
Plussat: "Crew worked hard to make the journey pleasant, including the second crew for my connection to New York JFK, a much longer flight. Even some of the food was edible."
Miinukset: "The security questioning at the boarding gate was not at all coordinated. Note that this was a Lufthansa flight operated by United. I was asked the same security questions twice because the first security officer forgot to place a sticker on my boarding pass. The security staff was both rude and arrogant."

Miinukset: "It was a big plane, and I was sitting at the back. When they started to serve drinks and our meal, both times it took way over half an hour for them to get to us after they started to serve."

I could not go to transit hall until someone took my luggage so I was able to board but no place to leave luggage like other airlines, that was not fun since the transit halls had the sleep pods I could have used"

Plussat: "WE THOUGHT WE WERE RUNNING ON TIME BUT WHEN WE GOT CLOSE TO THE GATE, EMPLOYEE'S WERE YELLING AT US TO HURRY BECAUSE THEY WERE HOLDING THE BUS TO TAKE US TO OUR PLANE??? I CHECK OUR BOARDING TIME ON PASS AND WE WERE 5 MIN EARLY??? WHY IN GERMAN AIRPORTS ARE YOU BUSSED SO FAR OUT TO YOUR PLANE? HAD THE SAME IN MUNICH ON WAY BACK"
Miinukset: "This was an old aircraft and had a 4 hour delay at Newark due to mechanical problems, causing a return to the gate, deplaning, and then getting back on board. I fly Lufthansa to AVOID this kind of mess. No one spoke the different languages of the passengers (specifically Italian) even though there were some thru-passengers from Munich to Bari. Poor communications during the process. Sometimes just COMMUNICATING WELL seems to make the problem smaller. Not well handled."

Miinukset: "Air canada couldn't figure out how to print a boarding pass in Toronto for my connection from Frankfurt to Florence and were quite rude about it. In Frankfurt it turns out that air canada didn't even rebook my flight for the next connection."

I had a seat that I purchased and it was very hard to recline I only found out that it did if fact recline it the last hour to hour and a half of the trip! It was a difficult push back to get it to recline"

Plussat: "The earphones for out two seats only worked intermittently, but the Purser, Lee-Ann handled it professionally and pleasantly. That was the only disappointment in an otherwise pleasant flight"

Miinukset: "As we landed we had to wait on the plane for an hour and a half because another plane (Spirit) was in our “parking spot.” This made it very difficult for people and connecting flights."
Plussat: "Very pleased with KLM - efficiency all round and especially the baggage handling at Schipol swhere I had 20 minutes to transfer and my baggage came back with me to the UK which is no mean feat given the hustle and bustle of such a large airport"

Miinukset: "Having to change my seat to accommodate a rude belligerent passenger, who had taken my seat, refused to move until spoken to by steward. She then made my flight a nightmare, until I let her sit in my aisle seat. Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."
Plussat: "Very attentive crew. Attended to needs immediately. Took a lot of time with each person when someone had something to say."
Miinukset: "The seat I had with no seats in front of me was very small. Much smaller than the other economy seats because the tray table and video screen were in the armrests. Paid extra for the legroom by ended up losing it side to side. Really had to squeeze into the seat."
Plussat: "Easy flight; loved the crew and their friendly customer service. Great food, kept everyone hydrated and fed."
Miinukset: "The movie options, as well as music and TV options were limited. There were no electrical outlets."
Plussat: "She was cheerful and genuine. I have dietary restrictions but was unable to preorder a meal. She went out of her way to find an available meal for me. I also saw her bring other passengers extra snacks and drinks."

Miinukset: "Would have preferred boarding by row - back of the flight first so would have been more organized."
Plussat: "We are guessing they either overbooked or they didn't have sufficient passengers on a Tuesday afternoon who's final stop was Glasgow. They rebooked him for 1200 the next day. DFW to MN, St Paul to Schipole, Amsterdam to final destination, Glasgow. So he ends up having to pay for another Lyft back to our apartment in Dallas, then another additional one for the 12 noon flight the next morning. If he didn't have family living in Dallas, he would've incurred a hotel fee too."
Miinukset: "He was bumped to the next day due to his flight being cancelled. Then re-booked the next day, with an additional layover. Then due to a 32 minute layover that left 3 minutes sooner..."
Plussat: "Premium economy service was good."
Miinukset: "Inexplicably, our preassigned seats were changed at checkin and we were put in bulkhead. This particular Boeing aircraft is pretty poorly designed. Especially the bulkhead in premium economy."

Miinukset: "Terminal 3 Manchester is not worth staying longer then necessary, loud music, crowded....old"

Miinukset: "Delay again... seems to be pretty frequent on KLM flights at least on the ones I flew with in the past 4 years... this time it was 3hours wait due to a technical issue... no alternative flight option and we ended up getting a very old plane as a replacement. In addition people at info terminals are disorganized and not kind at all.."
Plussat: "We really liked the KLM people, from the check in crew to the flight attendants."

Miinukset: "Very slow service. I wanted to by several goods from duty free. But crew served only first 20 rows of aircraft."
Miinukset: "Because of slow boarding process flight was delayed by 15 minutes. I had short connection in Amsterdam."
Plussat: "I liked the leg room, I liked the customer service of the crew, smooth flight."
Miinukset: "Both ways up and down I struggled with over-head luggage space. We were allowed a cabin bag and a small hand-bag in the flight but as we were among the last half of the passengers to board the flight we couldn't find anywhere to keep our luggage and the crew had to take them away from us to store them somewhere at the back far away from our seats. As a result we had to wait until all the passengers got off the plane to get back our luggage and we were the last two passengers to get off. Unpleasant!"
Plussat: "Much more civilised for the same cost (or less) as the budget carriers. Proper food and drinks included as is the norm with international flights even though it's a very short haul."
Miinukset: "The stinky guy behind me, but that's not the airline's fault."
