The crew was very nice, 👍 We had it one food option.
Except constant choice of pasta and horrible salads, Lufthansa was excellent. Post Covid optimizations a savings don’t work so well. Understand company needs to survive.
Frankfurt layover at the lounge was good. I would like to commend Tina, the hostess in business class on flight Frankfurt to Delhi. Her service was exceptional warm helpful without a fuss. The gentleman who came to serve me just left without completing the food service. He left without giving me my main course.
No screen map on in front of you to track the flight like Turkish air! No food or coffee for 2h30 just a small plain water and a very small piece of chocolate🤔

The food was poor and the service was worse- i pressed my call button for a drink mid-flight and it kept getting cancelled without a steward coming. Finally, after pressing the call button about 10 times a steward came and begrudgingly brought me a drink. Choice of movies was poor."

We were only able to rebook by calling the Lufthansa call centre and had to spend a very uncomfortable overnight at the airport without any certainty of when we would fly out. Lufthansa finally got us out on the same flight as booked but 24 hours later. And then, of course, they lost our luggage. Terrible overall experience."

Other airlines (Vueling, Air Europa) checked same bag as courtely, did not charge. First and last time flying Austrian."

I was told by staff that there would be a 300 Euro fee, plus the cost of the next flight. This broke my heart. why I wouldn't I simply be put on standby and get on the next flight? I ended up travelling by to Vienna by train, over the course of the next several days. I am a lone woman with a developmental disability, travelling to Europe for the first time. It was very disappointing to be treated this way. Thanks for reading."

Only when we missed the take off time by 10 minutes they bothered to update us and inform us that the flight is being delayed in 2 hours."

Miinukset: "Austrian Air has really slipped in its food-product.. Lufthansa put out snacks (cookies etc; even small sandwiches to 'help yourself from' going from Atlanta to Frankfort which was nice). But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."
Miinukset: "Austrian cancelled my flight from berlin and rebooked me 2 :/6: later without even letting me know, like if I don't have anything else to do than wait in berlin for 2 days!"

Miinukset: "The flight attendants did a satisfactory job of distributing meals and snacks only if you were awake during their service round. I was resting on one occasion and missed the snack. I was total ignored when I asked for a serving. The boarding process was disorganized and the flight was delayed about an hour. Seat way too small for transatlantic. I weight 62kg and was sitting in a middle seat. Next time I'll have to get an upgrade."
Plussat: "Food, wine, crew, physical comfort were outstanding. Excellent overall! Austrian continues to abide by the highest standards. After 14 years it still is one of our two favorite airlines in the world."
Miinukset: "Boarding was chaotic, cramped. Passengers kept lining up only to be sent back to the end of the line after documents were checked three separate times. Only first class passengers were allowed at the gate. Chaotic and frustrating. Not what one would expect of Austrian efficiency!"
Plussat: "1st class should board last, it just makes mire sense for a lot of reasons. Also 8kg carry limit is rediculous and loosely enforced. We were clearly selected to check our bags. There were others with bags heavier and larger than ours that were permitted to stuff them in their overheads."
Miinukset: "Flight cancelled morning of the flight and our direct flight on Austrian Air turned into a flight on Lufthansa with a layover in Munich. Not pleased with their handling of the situation and their very blasé customer service"

Miinukset: "First fight was canceled to Vienna diverted to Turkish air to flight into Turkey. In the US was diverted to Milwaukee for 2 hours after already being on a 12 hour flight. Then missing our landing time in Chicago by 5 hours."

SAS seems to like setting up flights that aren't ready to take off and then causing passengers to have to go through multiple transfers to get to their destination. The transfers also don't include the upgrades you paid for previously if their with a different airline. It is better to pay the extra hundred or so dollars to fly with an actual proper airline like Air France. Expect surprises if going with SAS.

And since I didn't realize it, I didn't purchase it online, which doubled the price at the airport :-( also, and this is not the fault of the airline, the security line is ridiculously slow because at least 50% of the passengers get shunted to a single line because the screener saw something odd."

I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."
Plussat: "I purchased Plus and found it a good value. My seat on the overseas leg was comfortable -- though it could have reclined better. The food & drink service was conducted as at an elegant restaurant."

For guests who wanted to sleep during the red eye, the lights were not turned off until after dinner and cleanup, which meant only 2 or so hours of sleep in dark."

I said I had to take many pills (antiinflamatory are three) plus iron and probiotics I take. She told me, holding the used bottle mostly full, that if I wanted more , I should buy a bottle !!!! And put it away !!! How insensitive and inhuman !!! I didn't know she was going to open a bottle !!!! Very insulting !! 2) When another stewardess passed by offering food, I asked what did we have a right to and she (only then) offered me tea or coffee (which should have been offered first). They I asked, as in all other flights (short South American flights and USA donestic) if she gave crackers or nuts to which she unnecessarily gloated pointing to the curtain that there , in economic plus , they had everything free ...insulting treatment and unnecessary information ...just like in my trip to Nice !! Same attitude ...it's probably horrible training courses. 3) you'd think the men and women that speak over the loud speaker would have bothered to learn English ...it was broken English and even sounded like babble to me...so I just ignored it ! 3) again no instructions for transfer as you come out of the plane. Had to figure it out asking cleaners ..as my flight was at night again. People below seem to coincide in that they complain of rudeness and lack of re-direction."

Plussat: "From finding affordable tickets to the moment we left the flight we had a wonderful experience again on SAS. Boarding was simple, we left on time, the flight was smooth and enjoyable, crew and food wonderful. It was a super experience so thank you SAS!"

Plussat: "They had a kiosk, which was nice. In the US (Dulles) on my way out, I had no way to print a picket without waiting in line. I don't have a printer at home and the mobile ticket system was not working, so I had to wait in a very long line despite the fact that I had no luggage just to get my ticket. Every other airline had a Kiosk. In Gdansk, I was glad to see that they had a kiosk."
Miinukset: "Although I could print my the ticket for the first leg at the kiosk, I could not print the second. I asked the woman at the desk, and she could not print either. I had to fly to the connecting airport with no connecting ticket in hand."

This was a great inconvenience for us. Never again on Air Canada. I suggest you explore the baggage process used by Delta."

Miinukset: "The boarding process was horrible and it involved climbing down steep stairs from the air tunnel to the tarmac to board a bus that took us to a far distance where the plane was parked. Had to new walk in the sweltering heat to the plane can climb up steep stairs in the heat! We were now kept in the plane for another hour with no aircondotion. It was boiling hot in there. We had to use the safety manuals to fan ourselves. We eventually left late and got to Lagos one and half hours we were meant to get there. Lastly not all the luggage arrived. Two days into my arrival and I am yet to get all my luggage. It was truly a horrible experience which was echoed by fellow passengers."

Miinukset: "We were rebooked, which understandably happens for any number of reasons. However, we were not informed or asked about our preference until our luggage was checked through! The staff especially in Chicago where we began this awful experience couldn't care less about our situation. Then AIr France lost our luggage and provided no help in locating them. We had to rely on folks who had friends working in Zagreb Airport to locate them. Air France is incompetent, insensitive and unprofessional. If you have an important trip avoid Air France - they treat you like captives not customers."

Miinukset: "Not all of your staff are polite, I’m not sure if it is because we were in a country that does not accept or respect people of “colour” but I could see that there was definitely a heavy line of different treatment to other races - sadly from a very well known brand. I did feel the luggage prices were slightly tacky, and extra for on cabin prices. Also, cleanliness is clearly not a priority for all either."

Then the conveyor system to broke down at East Midlands and all the cases had to be moved into the collection area by had by 2 security staff All in all 3 hours later for the booked taxi and didn’t arrive home till 4am ! Never had such a bad experience with Ryanair and East Midlands airport"

We were held hostage...even though we already paid for our flight, they wouldn't give us a boarding pass without paying this new, unexpected amount of money. Ryan Air was not clear about this policy...we went back and looked at all communication from them. Kayak was not clear either, so we will be looking for a refund!!"

Miinukset: "Crew was clueless on the return flight! Food service was exceptionally slow and we waited for some food for the kids for an hour. There is no control over alcohol that people can buy and one group became very noisy and disruptive."
Miinukset: "The website to check in was confusing, bombarding with other fees so when I saw the option to check in later I never completed online check in. Plus I was on vacation already in another country with limited internet. I was unaware that I would have to pay a 50 euro fee per person for not checking in online! I was assigned a seat in the last row of the plane while my travel companion was all the way in the front."

The flight attendants talked over the loud intercom the entire time trying to sell products like perfume. One flight attendant kept bumping into me each time she walked by. The flight felt crowded. The seats are cramped and uncomfortable. I fly a lot and this was my first and probably last time flying ryan air."
Plussat: "The crew on the actual flight was nice. Also, a kind and patient Ryanair employee helped us with check-in after our awful experience with their customer service desk."
Miinukset: "The customer service representative at the Dublin airport for Ryanair was extremely rude and was annoyed from the moment we stepped up to the desk. Yes, Ryanair is a budget airline but it costs $0 to be nice and helpful especially if you are working in customer service."
Miinukset: "Very difficult to locate checking area in Madrid. The boarding team was rude, selectively enforced rules and made the boarding of the plane a chaotic experience. The plane seats have no leg room, they are cramped and don't recline. They provide no complimentary refreshments, I have to beg for a small cup or ice. I would have rather pay more and not save to have this flight option! We flew Madrid to Marrakesh and will not do it again!"

Miinukset: "They send email about check in but if you did not get it for various reasons while traveling (lack of wi-fi access) the day of the flight even though I was there 21/2 hours before I could not get my boarding pass from the agent I was told that I had 15 minutes to check in thru the Internet because I could check in only thru the airport automatic check in system as a result I missed the deadline ( only one station was functioning) and I had to pay 55 additional euros to board the flight another ways "legal highway robbery". Traveler be aware of this airline cheap tickets but they get you in other ways...."
