Finnair on lentoyhtiönä nykyään aivan perseestä! Siirtävät esim lentoja 2 päivällä eteenpäin eivätkä kerro matkustajille edes syytä! Laitoin kyselyä asiakaspalveluun jo maaliskuussa 2022 ja lentomme oli 27.5 ja en ole vieläkään saanut vastausta miksi lentoa siirrettiin.
Asiakkaita suositellaan menemään kentälle hyvissä,ajoin, mutta finskin lähtöselvitys ja bag drop portit avautuvat, aina, liian myöhään. (munchen)
Tämä nykyajan "turvatarkastusteatteri" on aivan absurdia matkustajien kiusaamista. EI voi mitenkään olla perusteltua että joutuu jonottamaan yli 2 tuntia sitä että käsimatkatavarat tutkitaan. Matkustajista 99.99999% on rehellisiä asiallisia ihmisiä eikä heidän kiusaamisensa moisella teatterilla edistä mitenkään lentoturvallisuutta. Parannusehdotus turvallisuuspäällikölle potkut tehtäviensä hoidon täydellisestä epäonnistumisesta. Esim lennollani 2 oli vain läpivalaisulaitetta käytössä ja jonossa tuhansia ihmisiä. Ilman lennon myöhästymistä olisimme missanneet lentomme tämän pelleilyn johdosta! Kyllä moiset tarkastukset pitää pystyä järjestämään siten ettei matkustajan tarvitse seisoskella jonossa tuntikausia. ( tämä jonottaminen tarkoittaa myös sitä ettei kukaan voinut käyttää kentän palveluita, eli myös heidän business kärsii tästä typeryydestä)
Lento oli tunnin myöhässä.
Edelleen toivoisin edes kahvia maksutta, Air France osaltaan tarjoaa jopa pientä syötävää ja muuta juotavaa.
Koneen kapteeni ei kertonut mitään muuta lennosta kuin lähtiessä lennon kesto. Olisin halunnut tietoa esim lentoreitistä.
Lento oli lähes 3 tuntia myöhässä emmekä saaneet mitään tietoa mistään. Emme saaneet myöskään vouchereita.
Finnair arpoi edellisenä iltana check-in:ssä mieheni riville 29 ja minut riville 16 eikä näitä voinut muuttaa. Finnair rahastaa kaikesta, vaikka ei tietääkseni ole ’halpalentoyhtiö’. Mustikkamehumukillinen on ainut, mikä kuuluu hintaan. Menolennolla KLM tarjosi suolaisen ja makean välipalan kaikkine juomineen (kahvi, mehu, virvoitusjuoma, olut, viini). Kännykän voi ladata. For free.
Nopeaa toimintaa, kaikki sujui hyvin.
Matkatavaratietomme puuttuivat järjestelmästä. Turhaa vaivaa moisesta asiasta. Valitin suoraan Finnairille.
Kaikki toimii suunnitellusti, ruokaa tai viihettä en käyttänyt.
Järjestelyt toimi oikein hyvin matkakumppanin boarding pass dokumentti katosi turvatarkastuksen jälkeen puhelimesta jokin spammi yritti latautua , mutta passilla koneeseen 😊 Kone ilmeisesti hiukan kovassa käytössä, istuin muhkurainen. Henkilökunta oikein palvelualtista ja ammattitaitoista ☺

Ystävällinen henkilökunta. Kaikki ok.
Check-in jonoa oli aamulennolla, mikä on pienellä lennolla ymmärrettävää. Kaikki muu toimi mainiosti.
Teneriffan matkaselvitys tosi hidas ja ruuhkainen
Henkilökunnan ystävällisyys oli hyvää, mutta pienille reittilennoille Suomen sisällä olisi mukavaa saada pikku suolaista.
Friendly and professional crew
Ilmainen kahvi olihan kiva. Lento myöhässä yli 2 h Hesan päässä odotettiin rappusia. Huh huh. On se vaikeeta!
Lähtö myöhästyi 55min. Oli lähellä että olisimme odottaneet 1,5h koneessa, mutta saivat uudelleenreitityksen.
Henkilökunta oli tosi ystävällistä ja muutenkin koko koneessa oli hyvin rauhallinen tunnelma. Tosin kone oli hyvin vajaa.
Ei mitään hyvää Finnairilla, ei edes ruokaa tai snackseja lennoilla. Ja lennot myöhässä, kuten tämäkin oli taas.
Erinomaiset ja viihdyttävät lentäjät mutta lento lähti myöhässä

Lentokentällä saimme apua kahdesta pisteestä.
Tällä lennolle kaikki sujui hienosti. Henkilökunta toimi ammattitaitoisesti ja lentäjät olivat huippu ammattilaisia, nousut ja laskut olivat hallittua. Kiitos Finnair.
Jokin ongelma saapuessa jolloin bussikuljetus ja kävely toisesta päästä kenttää… kangasmaski käskettiin vaihtaa kesken lennon vaikka osa oli ilman saapuessakin koneeseen Lentolippujen kaivaminen oli haastavaa,sitten keksin liittää finskin appiin

I was standing in front of the counter with a simple Question but had to wait 5 minutes before the two agents got done with their own personal chat and thought about attending to me."

Miinukset: "Priority passangers cannot board with their non priority partner, even on the sane reservation. Congratulations sas, only airline workdwide to prohibit this. Otherwise, also forgot my duty free bag at the gate and the crew refused to have me return for it or get it for me."
Plussat: "Nothing, SAD were so incredibly cruel and nasty and even laughed at us after we got stranded in Copenhagen. 40 hours of traveling, 2 small children, and the sas ticket people laughed at us and refused to help us, even after we agreed to pay THREE TIMES our original fair."
Miinukset: "Really rude flight attendant even after we boarded and left late. She was rude to people sitting in the exit seats, rudely demanding attention while she rushed through the safety guidelines. She then very rudely told me I had to pay for what I was trying to order, even though I was reading it off the menu? She acted as if I was stupid because I don’t speak swedish, but she did not speak the language of our destination, and it was a connecting flight."

Miinukset: "My husband was unable to check in on line. SAS when contacted by phone which was difficult to do because it is hard to locate their number had no explanation other than maybe due to security. We missed a tour due to the time spent (unsuccessfully) trying to solve this problem."

Miinukset: "We waited an hour in the plane before take-off and after boarding, during which time the crew deliberately filled the cabin icecold air thick with the highly toxic fumes from the deicing. I got a headache from it. Throughout the process the entertainment units were disabled, when they could have helped distract passengers from this ordeal. The food was disgusting. When the Danish government has repatedly bailed out SAS, it would make a lot more sense for everyone involved to have higher quality Danish products on board for the meals, especially for such things as dairy products."
Plussat: "Flight was on time. Boarding was simple and easy. Staff were excellent in handling the boarding process and very prompt in getting people seated/luggage put in to overhead lockers, free tea and coffee was provided which assured that extra comfort, would definitely recommend."

I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

I was charged another $320 and I am disgusted with their business practices which revolve around, deceit, lies andl I would even say fraud! There were many others complaining about the SAS Go luggage issue and then having to pay again. I could have gone with Ryan Air for a fraction of the cost."
Miinukset: "This is my first international flight that didn't include complimentary beverages. No free wine or alcohol, and only ONE complimentary beverage on the entire 9 hour flight! They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."

Plussat: "Flight from Kirkenes to Oslo delayed, which meant the rest of the flights were unusable. New flights were booked in Oslo through Copenhagen, which only lengthened the original trip time by about 5 minutes."

Miinukset: "I did NOT like the fact that this was NOT true in Copenhagen. I checked my mobility scooter at the plane door, they put it underneath, but was met by a man who said he was going to take me to pick up the scooter (in the baggage claims area--after I was promised in Chicago that it would be at the plane door when I arrived in Copenhagen). Made me get in an enlarged golf cart, and took me to the "transfer area" -- where I had to get into a wheel chair -- for the rest of the journey to the baggage claim area. Then he stood there waiting for a tip that was to NEVER come!"
Plussat: "The crew was very professional, upbeat, and helpful. The newer seats allow for more legroom, and the selection of a wide variety of on-demand movies."
Miinukset: "The inability to easily view and choose a special meal is a recurrent issue with SAS - even when contacting the airline directly to rectify this issue, the ball was dropped on the return flight, and the crew scrambled to find a replacement meal. On-line boarding continues to be an issue for Green Card holders returning to the US - why not explain that one cannot pre-print boarding passes and instead must go to boarding pass issues-line as soon as one enters the airport."
Plussat: "Your entertainment and SAS TV as well as landscape camera were great. Your pilots did a great job with getting us home extra fast inspire of boarding delay. I liked the crew a little more on tbd way to Sweden than on the way to Chicaho"
Miinukset: "Boarding was a little strange. Not sure why the gate stayed closed up until boarding time so passengers had to stand in line until actual boarding instead of being able to sit and relax. Also not sure why we weren't permitted to check in online like previous."
Plussat: "Entertainment facilities was user friendly, but program too few."
Miinukset: "Bad management system, luggage even lost in transfer to Stockholm, also SAS but operated by Air China ( transferred in Beijing, from Taipei.)"
Plussat: "Overall the flight was ok."
Miinukset: "Each time I fly SAS, it seems that a service that was free must now be paid for."
Plussat: "Arlanda airport is quiet and fast. Security line took less than 5 minutes. The terminal was quiet and had a good place to lie down and take a nap. I did not feel anxious or tense like I always do in US airports. SAS is a great airline with pleasant crew and decent food. (Great food by airline standards.) Entertainment is great too -- lots of free movies on the built-in screen. My only complaint is that the airplane wifi wasn't free."
Miinukset: "Letting Customers know ahead of time that food is not included specially on a 12 hr Flight! They can at least offer a glass of water. We paid 8 Dollars for a Sandwich because we where hungry and he said 5 Minutes and after a while we had to remind him that we had placed an order!"
Plussat: "WOW went out of business before our flight, and Kiwi handled our transfer very poorly, promising things they never delivered. Agents in Prague were infinitely more helpful and straight forward."
Plussat: "We liked VERY LITTLE ... we will never fly Norwegian AGAIN... I will look for a different airline plus, I will tell anyone I can not to fly Norwegian Air period !!!"
Miinukset: "NO, THE CREW WAS “NOT” AMAZING !!! They were VERY UNFRIENDLY... if you ordered food in which Is RIDICULOUS YOU PAY for EVERYTHING even a SODA in the first place. It is delivered with ZERO customer service!!"

We picked this flight for the convenience of the location and connection, but not sure if will ever do again in future. Also, no entertainment option in the flight at all."

Miinukset: "How about making the airport security for Norway and Norwegian airlines be more consistent. My carry on bag was approved on the flight over at both stops and again from Tromso to Oslo. That plane was smaller. But all of a sudden when we go on the 787 Dreamliner my backpack is too tall? Cost me $65."

Miinukset: "Loved the idea that I could select a hot snack. The photo showed a delicious looking piece of pizza and when I asked to confirm whether it was indeed pizza, I was told yes. Instead I got a large hot pocket with questionable cheese. It was pretty unappetizing seeing that it was heated in a plastic wrap. I really did not want to eat it but was famished. I did not get what was sold to me."
Miinukset: "Flight was outsourced to some odd named company, old plane, terrible service, unable to watch anything on the screen in front. Crew was very hard to understand. Norwegian is good but if I realized I might get stuck on this knockoff airiline, I would have flown another carrier."
Miinukset: "15/9/2018 Amsterdam - NYC 1. Baggage check only opened two hours before departure so it was an hour wait to check a bag 2. Flight left 80 minutes late 3. Flight sat on tarmac at JFK for 50 minutes waiting for a gate because we arrived late"
Plussat: "Flight was smooth, seats were comfortable with more than the usual leg room. TV screens were large and free. Overall it was a great flight."
Miinukset: "My wife and i paid the minimum to board so of course we didn't expect any amenities. But i would think that coffee and especially water would be complimentary anywhere. We were fine without food but I mean how do you have an 8 hour flight and not offer water to passengers unless they request to pay for it."

Miinukset: "Husband is tall and there is not much leg room, there were no complimentary non alcoholic beverages."
Miinukset: "Kind of a bumpy landing and the flight was delayed. Baggage check in terminals were down as well, which caused quite a bit of delay"

Miinukset: "Be prepared to bring out your credit card for a crappy cup of coffee, and again for water, toilet paper, and anything else you might need. Then it took a full 50 minutes to get checked luggage at destination (Barcelona). Staff was rude and simply did not care. After paying for seat assignment and checked bag, it is not a bargain airline. This was first and last time on Norwegian."

Plussat: "The actual flight was alright, the pilot seemed cheery, and the staff was doing their thing."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed, then delayed again. I realize this is part of flying, but the care provided for passengers was awful. I received a text message again, that the flight would be delayed further and meal vouchers would be given out. No one came to the desk for literally-hours and hours and hours. People were calling, but no one to get ahold of. When the meal vouchers did come, it was hardly a meal rate, but snack rate. I could literally get water and a bag of chips without spending more money. Aside from that-the only place to get food at that time had VERY little to offer. Then-as the flight was delayed, I was stranded in New York City as the busses were no longer running. I had bought 2 seats, only to not make either of them. I had to book a train-wait another 3.45 hours into the morning hours, and pay for the entire train. All of this was after the flight to Europe had been canceled without purpose, and I am still waiting for a refund for booking another flight after missing the origional connection-considering i had to fly to Paris instead of Oslo-and my destination was Berlin. Plussat: "Crew were pleasant."
Miinukset: "In first class: Seats were as hard as wooden benchs and seating area was minimal. Food did not meet the quality of fast food. Sound system was staticky and basically unusable. In economy: The seating area is sufficient for small children only. Nothing is provided for passenger comfort, not even water."
Plussat: "The price was good"
Miinukset: "My flight to Rome was cancelled due to the snowstorm and after being redirected to Milan and then Budapest and then Paris, I knew I would never get on the Rome leg of my trip. I would have liked some weather update or communication about the trip as I just kept tracking it online. Sadly missed the flight and lost the money but I know Norwegian doesn’t control the weather"
Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."
Plussat: "Nice plane, free digital screens, friendly staff."
Miinukset: "Very slow boarding. Food a la carte very expensive - best to bring your own."
Miinukset: "The delay was too much and it affected me badly"
Plussat: "We took what was to be a 9 hour flight from Denver to London and the service was great. My fiancée has allergies to food and the staff took good care of her and made sure that she was getting meals that had no triggers in them. For me the seats are always a bit too tight for people with real shoulders. It’s okay though I’m used to that. But then landing 40 minuets early was great. It allowed us to go through the border and still be on our way as quickly as if we were home in the states."
Plussat: "Service was top notch."
Miinukset: "Not a very large entertainment selection and food didn't look too appetizing, but nothing out of the ordinary for an airline."

Miinukset: "Not the airlines fault for my biggest problem. My flight was delayed 4 hours because of security at the airport"
Plussat: "Disability access at Gatwick was excellent. Quick, polite and efficient service from arriving at the airport to boarding the flight Can’t comment on food as did not have any."
Miinukset: "The flight was almost full with only a few empty seats at the back of the plane. I was on crutches with a broken ankle and had asked politely if I could be sat next to an empty seat so I could elevate my foot (doctors orders) and because my boot would not fit under the chair in front. The crew made no effort to seat or switch me to a seat at the back next to one of the few empty seats. It was a very uncomfortable flight and I had to keep my foot in the aisle and stay awake to avoid being run into by the food or drinks cart. Poor selection of movies. Mainly older movies. While I actually appreciate the cheaper flight and being able to avoid paying for the food I think that they should offer water. There is only so much you can carry into the flight and having to buy water is ridiculous."
Plussat: "It is a discount airline -- amenities are not to be expected. The staff was nice and courteous."
Miinukset: "The flight was over an hour late. Seats are definitely small. Food/beverages were stupidly priced."

Miinukset: "The flight was operated by HiFly. Communication about delays (5+ hours) was terrible and non-existent for the most part."
Plussat: "Even though we were in the economy section we had a wonderful experience. Two good meals were served and there were plenty of options on the in flight entertainment system. All the flight attendants were very nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend Norwegian."

Miinukset: "Was not aware this was a discounted airline. You even have to pay for water. I had a carry on but they told me I had to pay to check in bag. It was $65 usd for 1 bag!!! And the girl next to me on my flight had same weight and didn't pay. Never again."
Plussat: "The engine purred like a kitten. Seats, free videos, easy access to order drinks & food w tap of your finger. Friendly, courteous greets you w a warm smile. Spacious airplane."
Miinukset: "Norwegian airlines needs to tell their customers that their luggage was left behind in Stockholm. We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("
Plussat: "The Dreamliner is excellent. Everything is new. I surprisingly enjoyed the games available in the personal entertainment screen."
Miinukset: "For an 11-hour flight, I was surprised that pillows and blankets were not offered--especially since the AC was blasting out cold air. I was freezing throughout the entire flight and ended up getting a cold that I'm still recovering from. The only other issue I had was the lack of variety in movies and tv shows. Most were obscure movies and shows that I had never heard of. More recent/relevant options would be appreciated."
Plussat: "Cabin crew nice. Economy relatively comfortable."
Miinukset: "Three hour delay from Paris to Los Angeles."
Plussat: "The 787 is a great plane to be on for long trips. It is comfortable and high tech. Checkin kiosks are easy to use and the app makes checking the details easy."

Miinukset: "I asked for a refill of a glass of wine and it was denied. I found that very stingy. The flight from Oslo to Fort Lauderdale was packed with kids and the flight attendants had no control over them, running around, disturbing everybody and they just wouldn't stop. Very annoying."
