Miinukset: "They have to take the prize for having the absolute slowest customer service in the world. When I booked my tickets, I emailed customer service to make sure I didn’t get a center seat. It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it."

If i wanted to buy something its in their mag and as a regional flight it should include some form of nourishment other than juice or coffee one off, tight fisted and not a descent selection of food either"
Plussat: "Fell asleep and didn’t even realise. Finnair is very friendly and the staff are super nice. I was very thirsty and asked for two cups of water instead of one and the lady was not hesitant to give me two cups in quick succession. Very good air company"

It seemed about average for comfort; overhead bins held my backpack easily, while I find many older planes do not. Coffee or soda was free, everything else was for sale. Attendants on this flight were very busy and very friendly. Check-in was run very efficiently. My check-through luggage arrived intact. Overall a good experience on a two-hour journey. Plane arrived about 10 minutes ahead of schedule, which is always a plus."

I was standing in front of the counter with a simple Question but had to wait 5 minutes before the two agents got done with their own personal chat and thought about attending to me."

Miinukset: "The crew does not acknowledge the passengers. Even when one the crew member was pushing a shopping cart down the aile with the Merchandise for people to purchase, she was just in such a hurry to avoid passengers."
Plussat: "The SAS flight was fine. My dissatisfaction was with the company that booked my ticket which I found through a Kayak search. When booking, there was no information about luggage and I ended up paying for it at the airport. This should clearly be declared in the online booking process."

But that definitely left a lot of people dissatisfied with an overnight flight in which we are hoping to rest before arriving in Copenhagen. Seats are getting smaller and smaller. Spaces are very tight but that seems to be the norm with all airlines"

Plussat: "SAS generally has better planes and more space than most airlines especially in economy class. Seats were comfortable, not too tight. Food was good. Most SAS planes are really nice and new. On this flight they had a problem and had to use one of their older planes. It was still pretty nice, but the entertainment system on the older plane was a little dated."

Miinukset: "We had to leave the airplane and board another one due to technical issues. This is the second time that that happens to me with SAS."
Plussat: "Overall I was very pleased with your level of service and would highly recommend SAS airline for anyone traveling from New York City New Jersey area abroad ! The planes were new clean and the level of service was exceptional . I am in the Hotel hospitality industry as an executive corporate chef . I enjoyed the service of your steward wearing the chef jacket ,, very impressive."

Plussat: "Boarding was quick and easy. Decent amount of overhead space. The pilot was friendly. USB ports for charging phones at the seat. Free bottle of water at your seat."
Miinukset: "No overhead fan. When flight got really hot, no way to moderate temperature. No choice of food at all, unless you are in economy plus. I don't remember the last time that a trans-Atlantic flight had at least a meant, or fish, or vegetarian dish. Usually, at least two or three dishes. On SAS, everything has to be ordered ahead of time. Some of the flight attendants were friendly, some not so friendly. No free alcoholic drinks even with dinner. Limited regular drinks - they are only served with food, aside from that you have to purchase even the non-alcoholic drinks. The food just wasn't very good, even compared to other airline food. Compared to other companies, relatively small selection of entertainment. I had considerably more choice on a domestic flight than on a 9 hr. international SAS flight. Storage pockets at the seat are pretty small."

Miinukset: "My husband was unable to check in on line. SAS when contacted by phone which was difficult to do because it is hard to locate their number had no explanation other than maybe due to security. We missed a tour due to the time spent (unsuccessfully) trying to solve this problem."
Plussat: "I was treated by the cew very, very badly. Food was terrible."
Miinukset: "The crew passed by me TWICE while serving food and I was not sleeping at that time. I had to go and ask for food myself. Also there was a delay about 40 minutes when taking off in CPH (CPH-EWR) because of a fuel-screen malfunction or smth. The pilot was very nice and kept us informed all the time. I still didn't make my connection flight due to the delay and SAS rebooked me which made my already long trip 8 hrs longer."
Plussat: "Everything about the flight was fine. Boarding, flying and retrieving luggage were all standard and went smoothly."
Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."

Plussat: "Because of bad weather at the Faroe Islands, the aircraft made a missed approach (go-around) on the first attempt to land. The weather had improved sufficiently to make it in on the second attempt. The pilot and the cabin crew were excellent in keeping everyone informed, and telling us the status of the weather and the likelihood of getting in. The pilot was outstanding in his communication with the passengers and the cabin crew were great in re-assuring passengers after the missed approach. The flight crew handled the difficult weather conditions very well."
Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."
Plussat: "I had a window seat with a view of New York City as we flew North."
Miinukset: "The sound quality of the earphones was so poor that I could not understand most of the dialogue of the film that I watched."
Miinukset: "This is my first international flight that didn't include complimentary beverages. No free wine or alcohol, and only ONE complimentary beverage on the entire 9 hour flight! They only came around ONCE with the beverage cart! (and this was like an hour and a half before they served dinner, which didn't include a drink). They also only came around and offered water ONCE on the flight. Normally this would be every 1-2 hours. Also, the flight was delayed by about 2 hours, and they didn't make an announcement until we were about an hour late. Thankfully, I was getting updates from Kayak, or else I wouldn't have even known we were delayed."

Plussat: "This flight was also one of the best I have taken. I enjoyed it very much."
Miinukset: "It was a little upsetting to see and hear one of the crew members be a little nasty with my sister when he asked her about the meal. She misunderstood and asked for chicken andvhe was quite nasty when he corrected her and gave her the two options."

Plussat: "Very comfortable 11+ hr flight. I also had an empty seat next to me so maybe that helped? The food was great."

Miinukset: "The seats were to close together. I am not one to get claustrophobia but 5 hours in I felt it and I nearly bolted off the plane after the 10+ hour flight. UGH. Shoulder to shoulder, knees touching the seat in front of you, and only a few inches to recline. UGH. I don't have a printer at home and the mobile ticket system was not working, so I had to wait in a very long line despite the fact that I had no luggage just to get my ticket. Every other airline had a Kiosk. In Gdansk, I was glad to see that they had a kiosk."
Miinukset: "Although I could print my the ticket for the first leg at the kiosk, I could not print the second. I asked the woman at the desk, and she could not print either. I had to fly to the connecting airport with no connecting ticket in hand."

I had to change from terminal F to E which was well sign posted but I only made it with 4 minutes to spare"

Miinukset: "Other members of the crew were snarky to passengers and dismissive of questions from passengers during the early stages of the delay. We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times."

Miinukset: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."
Miinukset: "The food was cold. We were served about 40 minutes after most of the plane got their food. The overhead compartments kept opening by themselves through out the flight. Food was horrible."

He could have just politely told me there was nothing available. Not looking forward to my return flight"

I didn't eat as I tried to sleep byt narrow seats meant being woken constantly by fidgety neighbour. Fortunately the plane made up most of the lost time and I got my next Air France flight. This one was 50 minutes late departing."

I have reservations wheather to book with BA ever again due to my bad experience. 2 hours wasted on the phone, followed by calls the next day to finally get 2 off flights cancelled and a return flight amended in my party of 3. Not fun!!"

The flight was delayed and although the first half an hour we had excellent service there was no follow up service and the temperature in the plane was really very uncomfortable"

Miinukset: "Firstly Kayak is apparently actually LastMinute.Com? BA flight was OK, but not much different from a low-cost airline. Return leg had to be Ryanair and online check-in didn't work (ouch! - you have to pay extra to check in at the airport). I eventually found out (after frantic googling) that Kayak auto-generates an email address for you as part of the Ryanair booking process, and this is the one you need. I spent about 30 mins getting through to LM.Com overseas helpdesk trying to get hold of it. I also had to request hold baggage as a separate process and it took 10 days to confirm this had been arranged (again, I would have had to pay extra at the airport)."
Plussat: "Friendly cabin crew"
Miinukset: "Long delays, little communication, stuffed into a hot bus before the plane was cleaned - not allowed off the bus, no air conditioning and kids crying whilst we were trapped for a while in the bus."
Plussat: "BA crews are always great. Also excellent that they don’t have those annoying M&S menus on LCY flights. I don’t object to paying, but it just slows everything down."
