Liked nothing. Food was awful and so was service. There was no entertainment.

0nline Check in experience was worst so far. Impossible to change preassigned seats so that the three family members to sit together. Kept asking for payment. Finally a kind check in supervisor intervened to seat two the three together

I book every time Qatar when I m going to india because it’s good service nd cheap tickets

on Oct. 16, 2016, I flew ACC to DOH on QR1424 with my Dad who is 81. Ryan Mostafa and her crew were EXCELLENT, such great accommodating service, such amazing hospitality that from now on I will always fly Qatar when possible!

Plussat: "Although my flight was canceled they quickly found me a flight on another airline and provided me with a hotel room for the night"

Plussat: "Fabulous crew, good choice of food and drinks and served whenever you want it. Good array of entertainment on offer but our flight was a 'sleeper' so after a fumble with the controls and the limited new releases, I opted to read instead. Seats are comfy and spacious, much wider than Emirates in the same class (who offer only an extra 1/2 inch width over economy). Amenity kit a quality piece that is both practical and useful."
Miinukset: "Crew seemed to have stopped referring to the passengers by name and offer a less-personalised service in Business than we have become accustomed to. The food choices while good, have been paired back as have the selection of wines."

I’m not sure flight with such short connections should be sold at all - with the previous flight being late 20 minutes, we were met at arrival gate by Qatar airlines employee that told us our connecting flight left without us. They helped us with everything onward- getting new boarding passses, hotel and meal vouchers, but all of this should not have been needed if such short connections were not sold."

Miinukset: "7kg and only one carry one!?? Budget airlines do better!! Try being a professional with a laptop and a few travel essentials and you won’t get far on Qatar. How crazy. Even if you have diamond one world status (the highest) unless u fly business class there is no chance in getting more onboard for your carryon. Works best airline my a**!"

Miinukset: "The gentleman next to me had broad shoulders, so I spent most of the flight with my body a bit twisted, and eating without being able to move my right arm normally was undesirable. The cabin was kept a bit warm throughout the flight. We had a long wait (30 - 45 minutes after leaving the gate) before takeoff."

Miinukset: "-carry-on did not fit on center overhead compartment unless I put it side ways, which then takes up space for other passengers. Same carry-on suitcase fit nicely on Emirates airplanes. Basically, carry-on overhead compartments have been made smaller on purpose or by engineering error, and this makes me not want to fly Qatar airlines again. Less food options. I went to the Gally and they only had kitkat bars for food. Emirates offer fruit, sandwiches, and many choices at ALL TIMES of the flight for economy class."

Miinukset: "-my seat did not recline, which I understand that I was close to the emergency exit but the person in front of me could still put their seat back way farther than they should be able to and I was unable to do simple things like put my glass of water on my tray -I had a vegetarian meal which was literally just rice and ground up brown mush-I have no idea what that much was -I asked twice for new headphones because my was broken but they forgot -When the flight attendant was coming around with water and she looked me to see if I wanted any and I said yes, she just skipped over me. I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Miinukset: "I planned a wonderful vacation for my birthday only to face a horrible experience. Not only was the flight uncomfortable, but my television did not work. There was a huge box underneath the seat in front of me which prevented me from stretching my legs outward. The television was on but the screen itself wasn't operating. I reached for the remote located in the armrest only to find the entire piece missing. Only the base was there. I asked the flight attendents three times if I can move to an empty seat and they said "give me a moment". The moment never came. I really expected more from this airline."
Plussat: "Have flown emirates and etihad business - now sampled the best by far. Qatar's a380 was incredible but the a330 on wind leg whilst not as nice was mademupmfor by the best crew I have experienced ever - WOULD NOT HESITATE TO FLY AGAIN"

Miinukset: "I purchased 3 legs of a trip on-line and tried daily for 50+ days to make a seat reservation. Occasionally, a screen would appear that stated a fee would be charged. I had no problem with that and was prepared with my credit card to make payment only to be told "oops there was an error" and the transaction could not be completed. I called the Garuda contact number in the U.S. twice and was told there was nothing that could be done from the US and I would have to take care of it when I arrived in Bangkok. I probably will never fly Garuda again so it really will not be a problem."

Miinukset: "The one thing I don't like about Garuda is so many announcements. They want to announce every things that happens. There is a reason why the seatbelt signs are there. You don't have to say what we will have in the menu as we have it. The entertainment system is has average collection and they are not organized. That includes the movies. The music section is terrible, I was not able to recognize any of the artist. It is sad that they don't take their entertainment system seriously. With their service and new fleet, you will expect to have a great entertainment system but sadly it is not."
Miinukset: "Boarding staff don’t have a clue. They are there for the airline not to help the traveler. Problem is they are the only carrier in the area. That being said.... they are better than Lion Air but that is not saying much. No real choice...."
Plussat: "Absolutely nothing - your Arline’s cancelled our flight and could got us out in 1 instead of 3 days late. You even tried charge a change fee or $ 800 more for business class Tix to depart earlier!"

Miinukset: "They sprayed insecticide in the plane with little or no warning prior to our arrival in Hong Kong, and I had a bad reaction to it (dizzy for the next several hours). I would recommend providing masks for passengers who desire them and plenty of prior notice to put those masks on."

Plussat: "It was my first time flying with Garuda Indonia and i was pleasantly surprised by the service of the airline. The crew was very friendly and we even received a on-flight bag with socks and eye mask, something I only get in business class in other airlines! The food was food, for airline standards and had 2 meals and 2 light snacks despite only being a 5.5h flight!"

When we got to Soekarno Hatta, it took a while before they could open the door of the plane and let everyone out because they were waiting for some equipment (the stairs i'm guessing). Then they put us in a bus which took a loooong time to get to the right terminal. I was sick at that time so this was very inconvenient."
Miinukset: "Jet Airways (partner company on flight) waited 5 days before putting my lost bag through customs on arrival in India and made me wait 3 hours, after the 5 days, to receive it. They gave no explanation, no apology, and actually sent an employee from another company to deliver my bag after I had waited that long."

Miinukset: "Boarding for premium economy had no special boarding. We were forced to stay in a long long line even though we paid almost double the fair with premium economy. All our other flights we got earlier boarding. There was no explanation given when I asked"

Miinukset: "There were kids who were not well behaved. Their parents would not correct them, neither did the crew. There was a kid screaming and talking very loud behind me, while everyone was sleeping. I was unable to sleep on the flight, even with ear plugs. The kid sitting next to me was getting Play-doh everywhere, on me, the floor and all over the seats. He was also kicking the seat in front of him and his mother would not correct him. It would be helpful for the crew to say something to the parents, as some parents do not believe in discipline. The vegan food was very good on the flight to Hong Kong, but on the flight to Chicago it was bland. I was still very hungry after eating + did not get protein in the first meal. With the seat in front of me reclined all the way back, my knees were touching the back of the seat, my legs were swollen and in a lot of pain after the flight."

Miinukset: "Four travelers were seated in 4 different areas on flight from Hong Kong to San Francisco flight. Three of us of us were senior citizens. Two had disabilities and were.not accommodated in any way by Cathay Pacific (CP) while loading in the four areas of the plane. Those of us that we're physically able could not help those with mobility issues because of the proximity of the seating, I could not pre-check or request different seats on the CP website. I think that this was because of issues with the website, apparently due to IT system communication between American Airlines and Cathay Pacific.......on all six flights. On the transfer in San Francisco, Customs was closed when we arrived in San Francisco and we had to haul all of our baggage from one terminal to the other. There was no direction on how to handle this issue of Customs being closed while on the flight to San Francisco. I had to explain the issue of to the CP customer service crew in SF. The CP desk and they had never heard of it. American Airlines was equally poorly trained. I will also say that while at the CP customer service, there were three young adult males that we're not busy at the time and the watched us unload the baggage carts onto the scales and conveyor and then reloaded on to the carts to push to the AA terminal. We handled the bags two additional times because the CP staff did not know what to do and how to handle it. Other passengers were confused as well. I traveled internationally to Asia three times now on CP and the first two were excellent. In the past had had flown other carriers on out trips to asia. This experience on this flight was beyond bad. I had plan on several more trips to Asia the next three years, and I will say that at this point, I will not fly CP again. Something needs to change. A call to me is in order. I witnessed several gaps in CP systems and other issues with training the staff. Your survey did not specify the flight crew. Except for the loading issues and the lack of information about Customs being.closed at SF, the service was world class...what I had come to expect from CP"

Miinukset: "Boarding was not organized in Hong Kong. Passengers were not called in groups, and therefore, an unorganized line formed between seats. Staff did not clearly tell passengers when boarding was taking place, and where to form lines. I was very surprised."

Miinukset: "Chicken curry ran out by the time I got served. I don’t really eat beef so I chose pasta, but the pasta was not substantial because it was just pasta noodles and sauce- no veges or anything with it. So I ate some cup noodles but that’s also more carbs. So no protein was available for my diet."

Miinukset: "They only had this tasteless shrimp slop leftover by the time they got to me for dinner. I didn't eat it and asked for a snack after and was refused. Other than being hungry it was great. The next meal was fine also."
Plussat: "My flight delayed by 7 hrs. AC ground crews worked diligently to rearrange my connection flight to Halifax on the first flight out. And at the arrival gate in Toronto, AC already had a hotel package for me to stay overnight at Crowne Plaza Horel. Everything went so smoothly and professionally done. I am very impressed"
Plussat: "I was told there would be WiFi on the plane from Chicago to Hong Kong. There was not. Very disappointed. It was hot and not a lot of air circulation. And the seats are hard."
Miinukset: "I was NOT able to choose our seats, so we couldn't sit together and were in the last two rows, in middle seats! It also took us 15 minutes to jog to the opposite end of the airport to just make our connecting flight. I would not fly with Cathay again!"

NEVER NEVER NEVER use Kayak to book your flight. Shitty things happen. You end up dealing with complete strangers. DO NOT DO IT !!!!

Everything was perfectly fine! The crew members are all polite and generous! The service was first-class! Turkish Airlines is the best of the world!

An upgrade of $1200.00 Euro's is extreme Being packed like sardines for a 10 plus hour flight is not good. It is also unhealthy. Turkish Airlines should consider something other then the 777 for any international flying."

The customer service staff both at the lounge and the transfer desk were inept and rude and did not want to help. I shudder to think how economy passengers are treated."
Miinukset: "1) No organized boarding process - there is a general melee at the boarding gate with a lot of shoving and pushing. 2) Customer service staff are rude, incompetent and unhelpful 3) No recognition that customers are to be served 4) Food selection in business class was mediocre and poor 5) Old aircraft - on flight from Istanbul to London, business class was 3 abreast with the middle seat being used as a tray table. 6) Sleeper class is mediocre - seat width is poor and one cannot even turn on the side"

All other services are great but this one element takes the joy out of what would otherwise be a great airline."

Easiness

A l'enregistrement à punta cana il a fallut négocier pendant une heure et demander à parler à un responsable car la personne voulait nous faire payer nos deux bagages en soute 200 dollars alors qu'ils étaient compris dans notre réservation. Cela nous a fait perdre du temps avec notre petite fille de 3 ans. L'escale de 2h à New York est trop courte, les files d'attente sont très très longues pour le contrôle des passeports et aussi pour la douane. Il a fallut négocier avec beaucoup de personnes pour demander à passer devant, et aux États-Unis cette pratique n'est pas du tout appréciée, et tout ca avec ma fille dans les bras. Nous sommes arrivés 30 min avant le décollage àla porte d'embarquement, juste au moment de d'embarquer, mais le vol a finalement été retardé d'une heure. Et enfin nous avions demandé à été placés ensemble côté hublot, à l'enregistrement on nous a dit oui évidemment mais au premier vol on était même pas à côté ( il a fallut négocier encore une fois) et au deuxième nous étions dans la rangée du milieu. Bref ce voyage retour à été très stressant et épuisant !

Problems with the in-flight wi-fi (none) and the flight info (none). However, movies worked fine and the selection is exceptional.
