We then SPRINTED across the whole Madrid airport and then when we arrived to second plane was TWO HOURS delayed. The staff always seemed to be working, but was completely inefficient in getting anything done. It took them 20 minutes to respond to our notice (we pressed the air attendant button on our seats) and then told us we couldn't get snacks because they were giving out pizzas, which took another hour. Every single part of our flight was delayed and inefficient... with no reason ever being given. It was pretty miserable overall and I will likely never use Air Europa ever again."

They were busy greeting their own VIP's heading in and out of the business class. When asked what's going on, the AE personnel simply stated 'just wait'"
Miinukset: "At the security, i was turned away because TSA will not take Air Europa's electronic boarding pass. When I went back to the check in counter, I asked why, no answer from three people at the check in standing around. Again, indifferent attitude. Shouldn't AE inform customers of this time wasting problem? No self check in kiosks."
Miinukset: "Every single person that worked there from front desk to flight attendants were sassy and rude on both my flight there and back."

Crew was fine, but I asked for a sleeping mask and although the flight attendant said he'd see to help me, he never returned. Not even to say, he didn't couldn't help me. Food (I only ate breakfast) was less than appealing. Movies were all old. Seat was so slim, every time we touched our tv or pocket, the passenger in the front seat was upset."

Entertainment in business was from the last century - no individual screens. An Ipad was handed to us resulting in a bunch of cables surrounding us through the entire trip."

We sat in the emergency exit row and it was the first time an attendant ever went over evacuation procedures for sitting there. (We always try to get the exit row bc I am six feet tall.) He was personable and funny and made us comfortable after waiting a long time to finally board."
Miinukset: "We couldn't find it! Our boarding pass said go to Gate ABC however that's not a thing. Each Gate A, Gate B, and Gate C had like 60 options. The crew from the previous flight didn't mention how to find connections or where to go and when we asked airport employees, they took one look at our ticket and said they didn't understand what Gate ABC meant. We saw a board and discovered it was Gate B65---a 45 minute run/walk away. We ran through the airport. We heard our flight being announced as final boarding so we ran even faster. When we got there, the attendant asked us if we were transfers and we confirmed. She then said that she was about to call our names. We were relieved we made it in time. Then we got on the bus to get to the train and waited 35 minutes!!! Why were we rushed through the airport only to wait on the bus?? Other people boarding after us did not look rushed at all. Also, the female crew member kept telling my mom to move her purse. My mom explained that it was attached to her outfit and that she wore it through takeoff but the attendant didn't listen because she just said again that my mom had to stow it. But it was part of her clothes! It couldn't detach! My mom explained again but the attendant said back "it is our policy to store purses." It was frustrating bc she either wasn't listening or didn't understand even when my mom showed her it was attached. She just stood there looking at my mom. It was attached to her jacket so my mom finally said whatever and had to take off her entire jacket (scarf was also attached) and put it in the overhead bins all because the woman seemed like she didn't understand English."

Miinukset: "The flight had major turbulence without any communication from the pilot or crew as to what to expect and having been on 8 flights just this week I am not a first time flyer, but have not felt so uncomfortable with noises of what what sounded like ice hitting the plane. Just looking around it was clear I was not the only one who felt this way. I understand that the pilots did there best to navigate through the weather but for the future it would be great for them to communicate that we would be hitting some turbulence. The landing as well was one of the worst I have experienced. I will not be flying or recommending air Europa to anyone. Just checking in to receive boarding passes was a nightmare as they informed me the plane had already closed even though it was an hour before my flight left. I was then directed to customer service who then sent me back to the counter where I finally received my boarding pass. Running through the airport and to security was awful and when I arrived at the gate the gate was still open and people were still boarding. It seems as thought air Europa is more concerned with how many tickets they can sell than customer service."

When we boarded and realized the plane was half empty we shrugged our shoulders. Why? Airlines have become so greedy, I am sure if they could charge for seat belts and toilets they would. Airplanes have become glorified city buses."

L'avion a eu presque 2h de retard et nous avons été enfermé dans l'avion pendant les 1h50 sans un verre d'eau et avec très peu de ventilation alors que nous devions porter des masques. C'était inhumain et inadmissible. Ils savaient que l'avion ne pouvait pas partir tout de suite (ils avaient annoncé 2h de retard), pourtant ils choisissent de nous faire entrer dans l'avion. Nous avions très peu d'informations et aucune information sur le pourquoi du retard. C'est une expérience que je ne souhaite pas renouveler.

I was pressured in Helsinki into letting Swissair, the contracted boarding agent it seems, fill that seat, 1/2 of which is what you get for paying 'business' in a plane that has all economy seating. There was no logic or ability to board before economy and indeed my boarding pass stated economy. The woman that was added to the oversold seat got intoxicated and was half in my seat. I will never fly this again and it's not worth the stress to fight for some refund but I was taken advantage of with charging me a 300+ euro seat for this joke of a flight in a "better" level of service."

I and my family got treated in an unfairly way upon check in! It was my first ever time to travel with Ryanair even though I travel 35 to 40 trips a year. I printed all paper for my trip from Dubai to London to Leeds and York in UK and then all paper for my trip to Italy incluyding PCR tests, hotels and trains. However, I couldnt check in online with confirmation email I received from Kayyak so I thought its ok I can just go to Ryanair desk on arrival to airport to check in. On arrival to Ryanair desk, the lady I spoke to wasnt professional and in fact was very rude. The minute she knew I didnt check in online she looked at me and asked me to pay £55 each to check in and when I asked her nicely to check with her supervisor if anything can be done to reduce charges she said to me "I'm the manager today and nothing you can do otherthan paying the £55 for each one of you!". I had to pay £275 for the 5 of us and when I said to her I'll send a complaint about this she said I dont care I dont work for Ryanair!. The delay she caused us to check in made us not making it to plane ontime and that made the situation even worst. I had to pay another 1100 euro on airfrance to make it to Rome. Due to Covid-19 checks and paperwork and not being in the EU anyone directions could have been clearer, I saw people who were very nervous and panicky.

It cost me an extra 68.20€ and another 31€ for a checked bag. Definitely NOT the low cost airline they claim to be! The flight may be reasonable but they get you with ridiculous fees. I will never take Ryan Air again- they are crooks! Once they’ve sold you a ticket you are stuck having to pay the fees. It’s cagey business practices."

They left the entire group of people alone in the gate and did not return until the flight had landed. Everyone was sitting on the floor, clueless. We did not know where the plane was or when it would come. I also paid extra for priority boarding to ensure that my bag would have space in the overhead compartment so I would not have to store it under my seat. However when the remainder of the passengers boarded the aircraft, they took my bag out from the overhead compartment to put another passengers bags where mine were. They had me put my bags underneath my seat. This would not be a big deal but I am an above average tall person, so it forced me to be quite uncomfortable for the entire flight. When I tried to tell the flight attendant that I paid for priority, she ignored me and walked away. 2/10 would not use airline again. I would rather pay the extra to be treated better."

Staff was incredibly rude and tried to make us pay $50 to print on site. Finally downloaded the passes (which, by the way, we had to obtain at least 24 hrs in advance - an easy email to miss). "Priority boarding" (also paid extra for) was a joke. Everyone had to get on a bus to arrive at the plane, and no order was kept, so it was basically a free-for-all to board the plane (lots of flying elbows). As a result, the overhead space by our seats (second row) was filled and we had to put our bags much further back (again defeating the purpose of "priority boarding"). Upon arrival to our destination, there was zero indication that our checked bag would be at completely different terminal. It took going through lost and found and 2 information folks to find the correct baggage claim area (and another go through security). All in all, a terrible experience. Not worth the extra $$ we may have saved. AVOID!!!"

Miinukset: "We could not print the tickets. Called Ryan they said just print at the airport. We arrived 2 hours before our flight and were told go back to the machine, and print tickets. We were charged 15 euros x 6 tickets. The agent said, "you should have been here 3 hours early to avoid the charge." Probably will not fly with them again. Why wouldn't they mention this when we sat on hold to tell them we could not get the tickets to print??"
Plussat: "Ryan Air is the worst airline. They rip off unassuming people by exorbitant charges at the airport."

Miinukset: "I purchased a ticket from Ryan air the night before my flight. My first Ryanair purchase. When I arrived at the airport they held my boarding pass until I paid an additional 45 euro for a process they call checking in. The checking in process allows them to require the customer to print their own border pass and enter identifying information at least 2 hours before departure, passing inconvenience to the customer for profit. The email that contains instructions for checking in provides first the confirmation number in bold letters, then a receipt of the purchase followed by a page of advertisements and sales offers. After scrolling past these solicitations one can find a link to checking in in fine print. So far, no other low cost airline I have taken abides by this practice. (Spirit, frontier, American, United, JetBlue, southwest etc.) The boarding process did not allow for efficient queuing causing a line to form that was a couple hundred meters long that extended down the main airport walkway. The final result was a delay of 45 minutes to 1 hour after scheduled departure time resulting in a delay of transportation to city center and any connections."

Miinukset: "Service was awful, employees were beyond rude and had no idea what they were talking about. We were assured by 2 different people we would be on time after we were told to go all over the place, paid 200 USD to check our bags only to be told at the gate that we couldn't board. THEN we were told we couldn't get our money back or our luggage until after the girl went on lunch break at 11:30am. She clearly just didn't want to deal with us. We watched her just sit there and do nothing because apparently it was her 1.5 hour break. We ended up flying with a different airline because our experience with Ryan Air was so bad. NEVER AGAIN"
