Good but delta needs to be more upbeat about the boarding process in Atlanta

BE AWARE AND CAREFUL BECAUSE THE LADIES IN THE FRONT DESK didn’t even look the paperwork that you have in hand, they only want to charge you saying that your payment thru Aeromexico didn’t help you in the 1st fly. How this can happen when Delta and Aeromexico are two subsidiary one of another ?"

Next flight was not much better, oh and wifi did I t work on it also - last 3-4 delta flights I've taken have been late and didn't have working wifi - starting to think their system doesn't work at all - seriously going to take any other carrier but Delta going forward"

Plussat: "Entertainment options"
Our flight was canceled and had to stand in line for 3 hours and 11 minutes to get on a flight to Florence Italy for the same day. They couldn’t get us to Genoa for 36 hours and had to go through Rome no direct flight. We will be contacting customer service for compensation for a hotel stay in Florence and train tickets to reach our destination Genoa Italy.

There was no in flight entertainment or snacks for passengers. All other aspects were good.

Fly was delayed and we missed connection flight. Connection flight was rescheduled and that flight got delayed for more then hour
Short flight from Houston to DFW. And apparently no InFlight entertainment nor working charging outlet either. Oh well, not too bad as it’s a short trip.

Can't understand why my luggage didn't make the plane to Raleigh
It was three hours delayed. If they knew people were delayed from other planes they shouldn’t have boarded us yet. We spent two hours just waiting on the plane
Dealing with customer service was a terrible experience. Our flight was changed by the computer system to a different flight a full day later, and we were given no option to change it. It took us a full 6 hours of waiting before we could actually talk to a human on the phone to help us get it fixed. Then we had to talk to customer service at the airport as well which was a 90 minute wait. The employees were wonderful and helpful when we talked to them, but the wait time was unacceptable.
The gate crew at Asheville was very friendly and on top of letting passengers know why things were being delayed. The air crew was friendly. The delay experienced through American Airlines (American Eagle) was inconvenient and made for a long day without any sleep. The flight was smooth. However, the seats were obviously in need of new cushions. They were hard and uncomfortable. The aircraft was clean, though.

Was told to “go online” and file a lost and found report. This is a small airport - TRI cities TN - absolutely zero customer focus by and American Airline employee - and I asked to sp all with a supervisor and manager with the hope I would get my phone back. Worst service and zero caring attitude I’ve dealt with - and I fly a lot. It will be Delta from here on out. I went on line and filed a complaint and lost and found report - am betting a large amount of money I hear nothing other than an automated reply."

Miinukset: "They moved our flight around multiple times. We first had a layover in Chicago then through multiple emails and one phone call they just flew us straight to London with no layover. It all worked out it was just stressful not knowing exactly when we were flying out and if we were going to make our connecting flights. It did work out and we did make it."
Plussat: "I had a connection flight to JFK I came before the time about 15 min and crew saw me but she told me, sorry someone took your seats I lost around 4000$. This happened at Dallas airport."

Miinukset: "The Avianca flight was over 4 hours late leaving Trujillo and blamed it on weather. Why don't they rearrange and prepare for this if the airport often gets fogged in during this time of the year? Instead they and other airlines leave dozens of travelers stranded. We lost our connecting flight to Iquitos, and after Avianca refused to reimburse us or put us on a different flight we had to purchase another flight with Viva Air with our own money. No accountability or respect for the consumer."

Miinukset: "I feel like they are cramming more seats on a plane. I am 5'2 and I felt I had no leg room!!!! It's an international flight, they should be some roominess!!! I rather chose an Asian airline than a USA airline. I can't believe the space!"

Spend 10HOURS on the phone to get on scheduled plane. BA made wrong date and was send in circles. 11houts before flight I bought different tickets to get back on time to LAX. No help from Finnair, British Airways and Kayak. Had so much stress and insanity from representatives about my flight. Kayak MUST have 24 hours live person. Was calling from Vilnius and getting machine from noon until 6pm, Vilnius time. Does Kayak knows calling rates!!! This was WORST experience ever!!!

Flight was delayed and they didn’t have any vegetarian meal options. You had to reserve online for a vegetarian meal. On other airlines you don’t have to reserve your meal restrictions. I was left starving the whole flight because they only had one meal option which was meat.
Checking in was atrocious - web check in was disabled and Despite travelling business class seats which were allotted were the worst in the cabin
The seats in the Airbus flight from JFK to HEL were a bit uncomfortable. The layover in Helsinki airport was boring because there were no stores open in the terminal and there was almost nothing to do for 3 hours.

The actual placement of the seats were aisle row and middle row-so neither of us had a window to look out of or wall to lean against, no overhead lighting or air vent either. Can you say "rip-off?" My husband, who is tall and broad shoulder was constantly being knocked around by the flight attendants and carts. This flight was miserable. I guess I should be thankful for the hour plus delay in departure."

When we finally disembarked, I was not allowed to my gate despite it being in the same terminal and having 40 mins to go.I was directed to a BA desk to get another flight. After 15mins waiting here the staff were rude and announced they would be closing. I finally was directed to departures to be told the only option was the same time tomorrow. Terrible journey!"

Miinukset: "Language with the personnel was a minus. An experienced flight attendant uttered "Jesus F..... Christ" - as a reaction to people getting up before seatbelt signs have been switched off seems fair, the wordage is unacceptable from an airline that ought to be a pillar of decency."
Plussat: "GREAT movie selection!"
Miinukset: "Didn't like sandwich for lunch, but the other meal was good."
Plussat: "Ease of boarding, no fuss no muss. Premium economy worth the price"
Miinukset: "Kosher food was frozen - inedible. Chicken dry. Worst meal ever on a plane"
Plussat: "Crew treated you well, boarding was organised and as a silver club card holder I was rewarded with priority boarding (less queues, less hassle)."
Miinukset: "Old style entertainment console, small screens, no usb or plug point for charging."
Miinukset: "Seats were not as nice as on Lufthansa premium economy and there was no option to buy a pass to the business class lounge (as there is with Lufthansa). The return flight plane had no extendable leg rest in the seat as I did in the first flight. This was disappointing."
Plussat: "Comfortable. Great flight attendants"
Plussat: "It is great that they give every person a blanket and pillow on boarding. Flight was nice and dark. The flanges that pull down on either side of the headrest to lean your head into are genius."
Miinukset: "Flight was late and announcements were not understandable over the PA. While I understand that seats are made for the "average passenger" and at 5'2" I am on the very low end of that, seat was very uncomfortable with a metal bar higher than the seat cushion poking forward where the cushion met the seatback. The temperature was extremely variable and when my seat mates who did not speak English very well tried to flag a flight attendant down to get an extra blanket, the flight attendants actively ignored them, so I hit my assistance button and my light went on, then after some time it went off again without our being helped so I hit it again about 10 minutes later and my light went on again but was again ignored. Then the attendants started selling things from the flight magazine and looked the other way as they went by my hopeful beacon. When they finally did get to me, I got a curt "I'll see if there is anything I can do" and she went off, returning 5 minutes later with one blanket when there were two people. Later on I saw her give blankets to others, and I found that strange."
Plussat: "We did enjoy the movies and the crew was very friendly and helpful."
Miinukset: "Crew was not helpful at the end of the flight when we had a very short turnaround time due to delay and my girlfriend had to run to catch the other flight and she has recently had hip surgery. The crew was asked 3 times for help and their response was "you will be fine". We were not fine also the security crew at Heathrow was incredibly slow and there were 3 standing around talking and one very slow very rude lady going through bags which caused us also to be delayed and have to run to catch connecting flight to SF just barely made it - totally unacceptable."
Plussat: "The crew was caring and we were kept comfortable with blankets, pillows and headphones. The food was good, too, especially the cheesecake!"
Miinukset: "There was nothing I did not like."
Miinukset: "Due to US State Dept travel alert for US Citizen to Europe until Sept 1, I had to postpone the flight. Delta waived the $300 cancelation fee due to the terrorism alert to rebook two other ticket I had purchased. BA said they would but I can not receive confirmation of this until I rebook in the fall. Plussat: "The entertainment and the service"
Miinukset: "Both legs delayed, almost missed connection due to delay and the crew on the flight didn't seem to care. When we asked if they could inform the next flight that our flight wasn't delayed, the stewards response was "our planes don't wait for anyone". Real friendly. Wish Southwest flew to Europe!!!!"
Plussat: "Staff are excellent, really friendly, respectful service. Food (expensive as always on planes) but excellent quality, really good choice to use M&S as providers. Excellent communication from pilot and cabin staff on delays before takeoff."
Miinukset: "System for paying by food with Avios points did not work. Plane left almost an hour late due to delays (landed 30 mins late)."
Plussat: "I was seated on the upper deck of a 747 (63K) and had plenty of room. The cabin was quiet even though the plane was full. Service was excellent. I enjoyed the food. Cabin crew were great."
Miinukset: "The entertainment system was old and didn't have the selection of programs available on newer aircraft. Flight map was not at all detailed. Time for an upgrade BA! Boarding was a bit of mess. BA has so many different categories of who gets to board first that it got to be very confusing. People couldn't understand if it was their turn or not and people kept being turned away to wait their turn. It would be far easier if people were given a number from 1-5 like Air Canada and they call those numbers which are also printed on your boarding pass. I was flying business class and I think it a terrible cheek that they charge extra (in my case $129-$159 EACH WAY) to select your seat in advance. That's insane considering what I have already spent on the business class ticket. Seems like a money grab to me. I usually fly Air Canada, and this high extra charge will probably make me think twice about flying BA in the future."
Plussat: "I liked all of the entertainment options and the food was quite good for an airplane. I also liked that I had a free seat next to me for more room."
Miinukset: "There's never enough legroom and I always wish there was a way to remove the headrest since it sometimes really bothers my neck since there are only so many ways it can bend. For taller people, it sometimes makes your head bend forward when you need to rest it back further."
Miinukset: "Antiquated and glitchy entertainment system on the 747-400"
Miinukset: "This was a connecting flight for us and was delayed causing us to miss our flight home from London to Los Angeles. There were no flights back to Los Angeles until the following morning (18 hours later). We had to stay in a hotel near the airport in the meantime. My boyfriend and I were forced to miss work an additional day causing stress and inconvenience to our lives."
we missed our connecting flight in Chicago to salt lake because the first flight left late, the customs lines took over an hour, and the layover time was barely long enough to recheck our bags walk to our gate across the airport.
i had to go thru security in Boston to get on plane. that is normal. landed in Madrid to get my connecting flight to alicante. they made me go thru security twice to get on the plane. i had to run almost 1 mile to make the plane with a bacpack and carryon..im 72 years old...only good thing is that a made the flight. sweating and very hot. the girl brought me a glass of water with ice without me asking..she was an angel from god.
Had to fly standby with 15 other passengers from JFK to Madrid because flight from JFK left late. Charged me 4 euro for a cup of coffee! Bad customer service!
We left 1.5 hours late, there was very little communication beforehand even as to what gate, just delayed. staff was not able to rebook my connection ahead of time, even knowing before take off i would miss it. meaning i had to spend an extra night, rather than get on a different flight the same day. the customer service desk was grossly understaffed, meaning we had to wait 2 hours to get rebooked.

No service. People don’t speak English … the seats are so close from each orthers : no place for my legs and I 1.75m…
Plussat: "The crew was extremely kind and selection of food/drinks was excellent."
Miinukset: "The crew was very aggressive and impolite. As a matter of fact I have never been in a flight in my life with such sort of crew attitude - especially with my kids (ages 6 and 10) - real animals. I will make an effort to not to with IBERIA ever again. I’m concierge key with AA and only with with Iberia because of the One World partnership."
Plussat: "Not much of anything. No complimentary food or drink for a nearly five hour flight, and sub- par customer service."
Miinukset: "The check in agents with Iberia airlines in Porto were rude, the. told me only when I arrived that I could not carry on “camping backpacks”, so I would have to check it for an additional 40 euro to check it.. despite saying they’d be happy to check “carry on” free of charge.. I’ve never had a problem with my backpack before, and it fits well within the size restrictions and easily fits in the overhead.. then they were unable to transfer my bag that I payed 40 euro to check, to my connecting flight. Therefore I had to wait two days to receive my luggage at my final destination in Rome.. Overall a really mediocre and frustrating experience."

Miinukset: "We paid $30 each way for extra legroom, but our seats did not provide it, and there were no empty seats available in the appropriate rows to correct the error. As happened before the airline pleaded a "change of aircraft" with no extra legroom seats. We were somewhat accommodated by being re-seated in the middle section with an empty seat between us, but this was not what we preferred or needed."

The crew did nothing about it and let these children yell and scream as they played games on the provided tv. Most of the people on the flight were displeased by this family that made so much noise."
