Plussat: "On my going flight MSP to Frankfurt, I had a normal seat and as a tall person, it was miserable. The seats were so tight I had to have my legs in the aisle and constantly stand just to make it. On the return I was given an exit row and it was quite nice."

Plussat: "The Lufthansa flight was great. The food and drinks for 1 hr and 45 min was satisfactory. The airplane was clean and crew was friendly. Too bad only 10% of the flight was gone by Lufthansa. The rest was done by United Airlines. The airplane was new and clean, the crew was friendly as well.The food at UA was so cheap it is a shame. On the domestic leg they give you 5 fools fish or crackers and soft drinks for 4 hrs flight. At the same time each and every passenger was asked personally if he or she will buy breakfast making the person feel guilty if not buying breakfast."
Miinukset: "Lufthansa is good. UA food is cheap and not enough on the Trans Atlantick flight and hard liquor is not free. On the domestic flight they do not give you food even if the flight is early in the morning and 4 hrs long. That is a shame. Moreover they try to sale you a breakfast package that is design not to get spoiled for three months. The nutrition value of that package is zero even I believe it is bad for you. This is only in the USA. It is a shame how our Airlines treate the American passengers."

Miinukset: "The crew in my section near the rear of the plane was competent, but snippy. None seemed approachable. I contrast them with the Lufthansa crew from Toronto to Munich who were short-handed but so pleasant even though they were overworked due to some crew members not showing up. Lufthansa food is average at best. The central restroom area on the MUC to ORD flight became filthy. Aren't crew members supposed to police that area? Or are passengers supposed to bring rubber gloves to clean it halfway through the flight?"

Plussat: "In terms of things I liked flying with UA998 from Brussels to EWR: The boarding staff at Brussels airport was helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. Boarding procedure was smooth even with the extra security screening at the gate."
Miinukset: "It was quickly clear to me that the passengers where simply an inconvenience to some of the crew on UA998. As an example I fell asleep during take off and woke up in the middle of the meal service. The cart was only a couple of rows behind me in the half-ful Economy Plus section so I got up and tried to get the attention of the staff. The lady turned around and confirmed that "I had woken up" with a sigh, as is not only was it inconvenient to her that I was a sleep, now I had the nerves to actually ask for a meal. She presented me with the options of pasta and chicken and I politely asked what they where served with. She straight out said that "she really did not know that" and asked me to make a choice. I wont get into any other examples, the machine was half full at best and there was no stress, so frustrating to be treated like you are an inconvenience to the USA based staff who clearly just wanted to be left alone. The entertainment system barely worked, the touch monitor was very hard to operate - the pressure sensitive functionality was not working properly but I managed to get to my movie and avoid the Chinese subtitles in the third try. I fly United because it's part of Star Alliance, but otherwise I would try and avoid at all cost."

Miinukset: "When I arrived to check in at 5:48am for my 6:20am flight, I was treated very poorly. The lady at the counter asked me what time my flight was and I said 6:20 and right off the bat she was extremely rude and said that I missed the flight. I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked."

However, I was not able to choose what I wanted to see and it's a shared screen. Only other option is to purchase WiFi in order to view something else on my phone or other electronic device. For first class, WiFi usage should be included in the package."

Miinukset: "Business Seat power / entertainment system went out with about 2.5 hours to go. Crew didn't seem surprised and they were pretty relaxed about it. Every time I asked about status during the first hour or so after it was out they said they were rebooting system but nothing happened. Finally gave up on it. Was the "deconstructed burrito" supposed to be served cold/frozen? Warm or at room temp. would have worked better Luggage took good hour before it started unloading"
Miinukset: "I arrived at HNL nearly 2 hours before my flight. The check-in procedures at HNL were very poor. There were not enough operating machines to help passengers check-in. In fact, there appeared to be more non-functioning machines .than working ones which created a huge backlog of passengers. We then had to wait in another long line to have our bagged checked and boarded. This was one of the worse situations I've seen in a very long time."

Miinukset: "The plane to San Diego was much nicer, then the return flight to DFW. No TV screens are port to plug-in your cell phone."
Plussat: "I like that American offers free movies thru their app but there was a glitch and I couldn't get it to work!"

Plussat: "The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout."

Miinukset: "It was very cold, even with my vent closed and wearing a sweater. The food did not taste very good. One of the flight attendants (middle aged Caucasian male) was rude with an overall dismissive demeanor. For example, I requested water and he handed me a cup of warm water while giving everyone else around me a cup of ice with their beverage without being asked."

Miinukset: "We booked a round-trip flight on AA from Philadelphia to Dublin. Due to changes in our travel plans we revised our flight dates. The phone customer service rep who helped me make the changes, assured me that the AA policy was to group families together after she informed me that I could not choose our seat assignments at that time. Arriving at the Philadelphia airport, we used the self service kiosk to check-in. The issued boarding passes put my wife and me in different rows on one side of the plane, and our nine year old son on the other. I asked a roving AA customer service rep if it would be possible to change our seat assignments and explained what we were told when rebooking. She waved vaguely in the direction of the baggage counter, and told us we could change our seats when checking our baggage. We brought out baggage to the counter and informed the customer service rep working there what we were told by the kiosk and phone representatives. She immediately yelled at us and told us to calm down, even though we were merely asking and explaining. Each time we attempted to explain our situation or ask where we could seek assistance, she bristled. Finally, she told us we should go to the main check-in counter because she could not change seat assignments. The check-in counter rep was very brusque. She said she could not change anything because we had boarding passes and should accept the locations because it was an international flight; however we could ask at the gate if changes could be made. At the gate, service was provided for three flights - Dublin, London, and Manchester(?). We stood briefly in line and were motioned up to a desk for the London flight. I informed the customer service rep that we were travelling to Dublin, and what we were told by the previous AA representatives. Without checking to see if was possible to seat the three of us together, he told us that he could only put my wife and son together. Somewhat relieved, we asked him to revise their seat locations. He made the changes and handed us our new boarding passes. As we walked away from the counter, I noticed that the new boarding passes were for the London flight and did not have my wife's or son's names. We returned to the counter and told him that there had been mistakes made. He immediately snatched the passes from us and berated us for not telling him that we were not going to London. I told him that we had told him of our destination as soon as we approached the counter. He retrieved our original passes from the trash and told us to wait for the Dublin flight reps to arrive. Immediately, I called the AA toll-free number and informed the phone agent of all that had happened. She was able to locate two seats together for my wife and son, and told me to inform the gate reps of the information. Because of character limitations I cannot tell of the counter rep who was an angel and managed to seat the three of us together. Thank you!!!"

Miinukset: "Out plane showed up late due to weather - understandable. We didn't have anyone to pilot the plane for over 5 hours - unacceptable. I was due to be home by 8PM CT on Sunday; didn't get home until 4AM Monday. Very poor job by United."

Miinukset: "United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate."

Plussat: "Shuttle helped me get to where I needed to go which was great because I am disabled. Flight attendants were nice."
Miinukset: "Didn't put my bag on the conveyor right and instead of being explicit as to what was wrong, the TSA officer just kept yelling at me I was doing things wrong and I was holding everything up. Could have been so much more pleasant. Also give wrong data a couple of times but got through it ok."
Plussat: "Got in early, but unfortunately no gate to unload passengers for almost 20 mins"
Miinukset: "Stewardess told me I had to use overhead bin for my personal item. Personal item met requirements with ease. Did not listen to this woman's command."
Plussat: "Seats do not decline and make it difficult to nap, generally not much room. Staff was fine."
Miinukset: "No snacks at all, not even for purchase."
Plussat: "No charging docks on plane as military duffle bag open with clothing hanging out on arrival ~ not sure if anything stolen but the threat is very real and it's unacceptable for military bags to be delivered in that manner"
Miinukset: "Fight was delayed over an hour, gates kept on changing and waited an hour to check in and get our tickets."
Plussat: "United continues to disappoint. I'm turning in my miles membership. I've tried to be loyal but enough is enough"
Miinukset: "This airline is so beyond awful. American has the most janky planes, uncomfortable seats, and worst service on the plane. I had to beg the flight attendant to get me a wine because I was asleep when they came by and missed them by not even a half hour... She acted like it was so hard and it took asking 4 times and finally just asking another person. I was so annoyed. They also have shitty food selections per usual. Who chooses those snack items?! They clearly have no taste. I was miserable the whole flight. I usually am not a miserable traveler so this isn't just me being negative, I seriously may write one review every few months, only if something is really good or really bad. The fact that I'm even taking the time to write this says a lot!!!"

Miinukset: "For boarding at the gate, attendant scanned boarding passes at one terminal and asked passengers to board next to another terminal across the room. Anyone could have walked onto the plane without a boarding pass, which seems to be a security concern. It felt as if I was seated over the rear wheels of the plane. During taxi and takeoff, there was an irregular bump that made a noise and vibrated the plane every second or so, and sped up as the plane sped up. I was concerned that something was the matter with the tire or wheel."
Plussat: "Fight was 45 delay but still 10 minutes earlier arrived.that was very good."
Plussat: "I liked the comfortable seats that were spacious enough. I like that on these flights they still at least give u one drink and a little snack. We got in early on both flights that's always a plus"
Miinukset: "I would like some kind of entertainment to make the time go by faster. What happened to having a movie play on a flight? That is about my only compaint."
Plussat: "Average experience. Mostly pleasant enough."
Miinukset: "United changed our flight with No chance to object. Then reassigned us to separate seats. We asked to be moved next to each other. We were repeatedly and rudely dismissed 3 times, at 3 different levels, as if we were in the wrong to ask. If not for the kindness of a fellow passenger we would not have flown together. Very poor hospitality training."

Miinukset: "Very difficult to make selection on the video tv systems. The breakfast was just a microwaved sandwich with weird cheese and 1 thin slice of processed turkey, that's it?"
Plussat: "Ticket agent got us on a Delta flight."

Plussat: "fantastic steward from denver to minot. funny, helpful and courteous. best i've ever had!!"

Miinukset: "Three hour Houston delay; I accepted a change in scheduled flights with less delays and $300 compensation, but the offer was withdrawn without explanation. And had to switch seats in the first leg to redistribute weight."
