Hours and did not get checked on once then i found out I did that for no reason and i had to wait In another line for almost two hours!!! Then then next day my flight was delayed for four!!! Hours due to engine issues and they had to get a new plane so the rerouted two flights had To be canceled And I was stuck overnight again in Dallas. No one met me at the gate or had anything to say to me. Not really one ounce of customer service . I could tell it was Hard with the airport closing due to weather but this is an international flight and someone could have done something to help me just navigate the process over the three day period. One woman who I finally talked to in Frankfurt spent an hour with me when i was utterly exhausted and there were No more flights or hotels left She was To be commended. The rest was chaos and exhausting and I still have another flight tomorrow."

They weren't particularly large people, just average men but their arms were in my space all the time. Also if I drop something, I cannot pick it up, there's no room. For transatlantic flights the seats should be bigger."
Plussat: "Selection of meals (veg / non veg), nice and polite crew, selection of entertainment options, availability of drinks and snacks on the plane in between meal service. Seats are decent in size and comfortable in the economy class, the aircraft feels like new, clean and fresh."

Maybe they fixed it next flight. The temperature is set up by sections. All othe sections were ok except the one with the row 79 in it."
Miinukset: "This was a united flight. The personal was not helpful, only in helping me communicate with the airport in Rome to change my flight. I had to pay 97 euros for this change. I am upset and think it is not fair that I need to pay for a problem united had with their flight. I also think star Allience failed as they were not able to resolve the problem with their partner airlines."
Plussat: "Timely distribution of meals/drinks, uncommonly quick boarding and ... unboarding. I travel with a musical instrument and some airlines want to check it and some even insist on checking it, even though there is always plenty of room. This was a completely full flight and no one even mentioned the possibility of checking it; they put me in an early boarding line and put it in a closet. The way they handle this for myself and the other passenger with an instrument made our day, as well as making boarding smoother forbus and everyone else. Really excellent job on that!"
Miinukset: "Old televisions with somewhat limited entertainment options. Im tall and every seat in coach is too small for me, but thats the case on every flight ive been on."

Miinukset: "I arrived at airport with my connecting flight at 9pm, there was no way to check my luggage until 4am. I could not go to transit hall until someone took my luggage so I was able to board but no place to leave luggage like other airlines, that was not fun since the transit halls had the sleep pods I could have used"

My poor rating was because the luggage handling was really poor. Lots of flights from Paris to Amsterdam (almost hourly), but my bag showed up 12 hours later. My wife's bag took 36 hours. And yes, we checked in together. There were lots of confusing messages"

Miinukset: "The crew had their general Dutch aloofness on form. Chatted to one of the stewardesses in Dutch up until she saw I had a British passport then she decided she could only speak English to me."

Miinukset: "I paid almost $400 for upgraded seats. When I got to the airport-- no seats-- both ways!! i didn't even have regular seat assignments. I had to choose from the last few seats available. The ticket agent, the gate agent and the cabin crew all did nothing to make up for the fact that their system screwed up and stuck me in a cramped coach seat in the back of the plane for 11 hours-- TWICE! Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Plussat: "The crew were really helpful since I am a short person in putting my luggage away in the overhead compartment and attentive to everyone's needs. I am a fussy eater and don't really like airplane food but the food was actually really nice. We was given plenty of snacks and drinks in between meals as well. There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."

Miinukset: "There are two types of foot-rests, both are a nuisance for people with long legs. The one popping up from below one's seat is extremely hard to put back in place. The metallic one folding down from under the seat in front cannot be secured back and is always in the way if the passenger needs to stretch his/her legs. This seems to be a new appliance, and I jut wish they would do away with it altogether. More is not necessarily better."

Miinukset: "I may be wrong but these days, the staff curtsy and overall well coming approach is lacking! Just a smile and a few cheerful words can transform passengers’ mood greatly!! This becomes particularly important when one is traveling for > 9 hours back to back flights!! One can extra charge for it!!"

Miinukset: "I have never been in a situation were a flight has been delayed due to the co-pilot suffering a knee injury prior to take off. A request for a doctor on board after an hour or so and then having to leave the plane and then re-board after about 40 minutes was quite bizarre."

Miinukset: "Boarding agent forced me to check in my carry-on even though the carry-on fit in the cage and fullfilled all the requirements. I specifically called Air France prior to the flight to make sure I won’t have any issues as my 1st flight was operated by Delta and I wanted to confirm the luggage requirements were the same. My carry-on weighted only 5 kilos. I was extremely upset the way I was treated w/ the boarding agent behind the counter in Prague. On the top of that, her and the supervisor were very rude to my mom as they told her she had an extra carry-on which wasn’t the case. She traveled w/ a small briefcase where her mask for sleep apnea was. This is not considered an additional carry-on. The boarding agent (Czech lady and her supervisor) were not only rude but obviously lacked knowledge as well. My carry-on suitcase would easily fit in the overhead bin plus there was plenty of space inside the plane as it the flight wasn’t completely full."

Plussat: "Service was much better than on the flight from MIA to CDG 3 weeks before - that was very poor. Entertainment was excellent - great selection of movies. Premium Economy was definitely worth the upgrade cost."
Miinukset: "Boarding was a complete debacle - no control over who went where. Sky Priority line was full of 50 people who weren't Sky Priority, and there was only one person checking passports. The two people at the desk didn't care when I noted this. We were called to the desk in advance of boarding to check passport information. When we got to the check in line, we were taken aside for more passport checking, even though we are US citizens with Trusted Traveler status in the GOES program. We were one of the first people at the departure lounge, and one of the the last to board."

Miinukset: "I feel comfortable flying when I can see out the window so don't force me to close my window shade.The flight attendants kept forcing me to close my shade. Also new planes would be nice. Sick of flying on outdated technology."

Miinukset: "I was told the wrong flight time, wrong terminal, wrong gate, and wrong airline. I couldn't check-in online. It was horribly inconvenient and I nearly missed the flight. We got there with 5 minutes until the doors closed."

Plussat: "Entertainment center is brand new and Cleanliness Crew was ok And yeah there's wine (that way you can get plastered and ignore the uncomfortable seats)"
Miinukset: "Checking in was ridiculous. They're charging for literally EVERYTHING now. On economy class you have many options: - Normal (free!) "ergonomic" seats: uncomfortable, narrow, really close to the one in front of you. - Normal (exit row): just give up. There's like 6 of these and they're taken immediately. - Normal (middle of the plane): are you kidding me? These are NORMAL seats and you charge an extra €30? - Normal (2 seats per row!): what a bargain. Same crappy seats, but two people instead of three! This is really worth my money. - Upgrade to business! Why are you so poor! AF food went from being the best in international flights to disgusting microwave food (especially vegetarian)."
Plussat: "No complain about Air France. The service and food are very good. Enjoy it."
Miinukset: "Our return flight is Milan--CDG--SFO. The transfer time at CDG is 1 hour. The line at CDG is incredibly long. We barely made it. IMPOSSIBLE for tax return. Very bad flight connection experience."
Plussat: "Crew was very friendly, the aircraft had been recently refurbished (interior had new paneling), and the seat was comfortable."
Miinukset: "Snacks/food was virtually non-existent. A tiny water bottle and pretzels in a clear plastic bag; no flavored beverages (juice/soda). Wasn't offered headphones on this flight, although I was offered them on the outbound; I've mixed feelings about that, as I had headphones, but they were in my carryon. Prefer built-in IFE rather than Bring-Your-Own-Device, as a smartphone is inferior to a large touchscreen."

Plussat: "The Captain was well spoken and informative. The entire crew really seemed to care. They were so efficient. All of this happened in white-out conditions, on the Sunday after Thanksgiving—the busiest travel day in history! They were AWESOME. And the gate agents took advantage of 3 people who didn’t show to let my family sit together, which I really appreciated."

Miinukset: "Sat behind a couple with a small dog that was very stressed and barked at anyone that walked by. It was a late flight and I could have used a few winks."

Miinukset: "The connecting flight was cancelled while boarding was in progress at the start of the journey."
Miinukset: "How can a plane be this cold?? I travel all the time, but I have never experienced this. It seemed like there was a general temp control - apart from the air vents. I had on a sweatshirt and by the end of the flight was sitting on my hands! Couple that with the “I don’t care” attitude of the flight crew, and I was counting the minutes to landing. Definitely not the AA that I’ve given my business to."

Plussat: "The low fare was the best part of the flight, but I later found that it came at a cost!!!!"
Miinukset: "First of all the Crew was rude and their lack of patience was obvious, the flight was delayed and was no fault of any of the passengers yet we were made to feel as if it was our ( passengers) fault. Secondly, the air was turned down, I guess to conserve fuel, and the plane was unbearably hot, And at no time was food offered for purchase or even a beverage service. I have flow AA for 20+ years and this was the FURST flight I have ever experienced. Sadly I believe it will be my last!!!!"
Plussat: "The Boeing 787 from LAX to Auckland was noticeably more comfortable than the Airbus 321 I flew to LAX to start the trip. Food was actually good!"

Miinukset: "the remodel at LAX is a mess but the shuttles are nice, just be prepared if you have to shuttle to another terminal. Also check food, I went from gate 50A and had to shuttle to 52A and that area only has one area to get something to eat and its just sandwich, and not a lot of choices."
Plussat: "I liked the amount of meals and beverages that were served at no additional cost. The entertainment also had a pretty good selection of movies to watch."
Miinukset: "As a taller individual the leg room was a problem, I wasn't able to get a good nights sleep in the position I was in. No free wi-fi also wasn't convenient."

Miinukset: "AA's seats are sooooooo close together, that there is nowhere near enough room to stretch or raise legs. AA's seats are the most uncomfortable (in regard to space and lumbar support) of the three major airlines."

Miinukset: "It was way too cold. We shouldn't all be bundling up in scarves and jackets. I've noticed that European airlines manage nut to freeze the passengers, so three must be a way to adjust the standard temperature on planes a but more."

Miinukset: "They had no record of this portion of my trip, after a few people checked they found the Chicago to Ammon part so they added me onto a flight from Washington to Chicago. All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up"
Miinukset: "Apparently Finnair leases a Hilly plane and crew for this flight right now, so it wasn't quite the same."
Miinukset: "Flight was oversold, was bumped to the next flight."
Miinukset: "We didn't actually take the flight because of hurricane Matthew. AA was very inflexible about the storm and wouldn't allow me to change my flight unless I wanted to fly within a matter of days. Which was impossible for me. It would have cost me more than my original ticket costs just to change the date. Absolutely absurd costumer service in the wake of a natural disaster and I will not be booking with them in the future."

Plussat: "Excellent piloting (good driving) and communication during a torrential downpour. That's important. The two hours on the tarmac were unavoidable, so appreciated occasional comments about the storm and circumstances. Interesting parking. I didn't know a plane could pivot like that. Also, flying through cumulonimbus clouds was thrilling. Thank you."
