Finally, someone at the airport helped in re-booking our flights but I have yet to have anyone give me an answer regarding compensation! In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. I would like someone to call me back or email me with something that could maybe be done to help us! No one at the call center will help!"

Instead of beginning boarding at the time printed on my ticket, like every other airline, boarding was completed and closed fifteen minutes before my ticket said they would start, so even though I was eight minutes early I was actually seven minutes too late. Turkish Airlines service desk took the evidence (my ticket) and then refused to rebook me, forcing me to pay $600 for a new flight and for a visa to Turkey just so I could exit through security to book & pay for it. They will not be getting any more of my business in the future!"

Getting luggage in place used to be a simple and minor issue, now it occupies much of the time, energy, and attention of the cabin crew as well as the gate crew. I realize this is making money for Delta but the cost is being paid by people being hit in the head with luggage and the crew's unavailability to deal with other issues."

Liked that they didn't charge for middle seat towards the front. I feel claustrophobic in the back but hate paying extra for seats up front. A long time AA Gold Member, looking forward to more Delta flights."

Miinukset: "Entertainment system in my row didn't work correctly. Flight delayed due to weather. On board announcements said Lufthansa would rebook passengers with connecting flights and tell us arrangements as soon as we landed. No sign of Lufthansa reps at arrival gate area and zero directions on where to go. Had to walk miles through Frankfurt airport , go through immigration and security again without any direction one where to find Lufthansa and when finally found Lufthansa service counter it was understaffed with long lines and confusion. By time we learned rebooking, we almost missed rebooked connections. So much for German organizing and efficiency."

We had to be re-routed via 3 separate flights jus to make our international connection thanks to our initial flight being moved up 2 hours EARLY. They closed the door in our faces. That added 8 hours of travel time to our trip which I had booked to minimize travel time as I was traveling with pets. United is the WORST."

The flight attendants did not compensate for our inconvenience and were not very friendly or available in general. The incoming flight had been delayed by hours, with boarding and deplaning and a very bad attitude."

The long-distance Airbus plane was comfortable enough. I like the idea of putting all the bathrooms downstairs ... but ..."

Miinukset: "The AC was set to way too high temperature. Very uncomfortable. Sweaty and smelly Lufthansa style. I asked to adjust the temperature - the flight attendant said she would . Maybe they fixed it next flight. The temperature is set up by sections. All othe sections were ok except the one with the row 79 in it."
Plussat: "Thank you very much for taking care of my mother she is 79 years old doesn't speak English. and needed wheel chair. and she was thrilled happy and very comfortable thruw all your flights. I want to thank you personally from the bottom of my heart because it's very hard for me to send her overseas with her condition and no language. you guys awesome thank you very much again."
Plussat: "Everything! Service, entertaintment, smooth flight"
Miinukset: "The food could be better. I had the chicken dinner which was not very impressive. And the bread was horrible."

I was standing in front of the counter with a simple Question but had to wait 5 minutes before the two agents got done with their own personal chat and thought about attending to me."
Miinukset: "SAS support and communication during the Copenhagen baggage handler strike, which cost us our connection and the family funeral in Scotland, which was the whole point, was abysmal."

Miinukset: "If you want to have a different meal than what they offer, you have to contact customer service before hand. I never been on a flight so far, where there wasn’t a vegetarian option. So I was pretty surprised when they just offered beef fajitas. I asked for a vegetarian option only to find out there isn’t none. The flight attendant wasn’t super nice about it either, she just said you have to order it online. But at no point I got an email saying, if you want something different than what we offer, tell us! So that was pretty annoying..."

Miinukset: "my ONLY complaint is that I preordered a VEGETARIAN meal and got a VEGAN meal. NOT a big deal, but they should be aware of the difference."

Plussat: "Entertainment great, plane clean and newish. Breakfast way better than most competitors on transatlantic. Fruit salad, hot good sized rolls, yogurt, thick slices of ham n cheese so much better than BA’s downsized granola bar and mini muffin ( that they also serve in the upgraded class!"
Miinukset: "You really need to either have no legs or be 5’6” or less to fit in the seat without angling sideways. But alas SAS is no worse than the competitors in this department. Crew served meal 2.5 hours into 9 hour flight and about an hour after complimentary drink. My can of Coke was well gone when the mediocre dinner arrived and I got an earful for daring to ask for another one. It finally arrived after dinner with the creditcard machine etc. Yes, it was $4.00. I passed. As the coffee service was in full swing."
Plussat: "Flight was on time. Boarding was simple and easy. Staff were excellent in handling the boarding process and very prompt in getting people seated/luggage put in to overhead lockers, free tea and coffee was provided which assured that extra comfort, would definitely recommend."

Miinukset: "All airplanes are 2 Noisy. (Of course this is not the fault of SAS). I use noise canceling headphones that helps a lot. EBut the background noise level always strikes me as too much!"

Miinukset: "They only offered tea and coffee for free as a drink and nothing anything more, and were not kind at explaining this."
Miinukset: "Flight was cancelled due to a bomb alert. No food or hotel compensation. Stuck in Copenhagen for a day and night."
Miinukset: "Flight delayed so that would not be able to make the SAS flight. Therefore had to switch flights to go to CHicago instead. But initial flight was booked under alaska--but boarding pass unable to be printed from any of the kiosks and we were told to talk to American. American didn't know anything about it. THen stood in Assistance line for 45 minutes to be told that we needed to talk to VIrgin American. They rebooked us on to American, which then promptly was also delayed for several hours, and we thereby missed our connection. Throughout the process there were no customer service representatives either in person or on the phone who were remotely helpful. Overall, worst travel experience of my life."
Plussat: "Service on the plane was good. The airplane was on time."
Miinukset: "From the time we reached the airport until we got to the gate was 90 minutes. SAS systems for checking baggage by machine sucks. My wife's number on the booking reference didn't work in the machine Thus we waited in line for 20 minutes to get a boarding pass, but didn't get the baggage tags for her luggage. Another line. SAS overall sucks."
Plussat: "Just everything. On time, good service, relaxing flight. What else...?"
Miinukset: "We couldn't check in online because we had an infant in arms. So we tried to check in there. There were 3 different terrible queues. One to use the machines, one to check bags and another for special situations. We tried the machines, didn't work. A rep told us to go to the special situations line. There was a rep there that was trying to prevent people to getting into the line because it was sooo long (1+ hr). So we tied the machines again. Didn't work. So we convinced the guy to let us in the special line. It was nuts. We waited as our flight got closer and closer. Right when it looked like we might make the flight, one of the TWO reps left. When we finally made it, they said we wouldn't make the flight. We rebooked and had to pay extra. WORST travel experience ever."
Miinukset: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

Miinukset: "Multiple maintenance delays and groundcrew forgot to load some bags so there was an even further delay. Flight was cramped too."
Miinukset: "We were unaware of the need to buy an infant ticket on international flights. When we checked in to our SAS flight in Newark, we were given a boarding pass for our infant without any heads up about the issue. We also got help with ordering bassinet from the gate agent, all without anything surfaced. It wasn't until we were boarding that we learned that we needed to buy a ticket and pay $400+ and nearly didn't make the flight. Can someone follow up now, as we need to make sure this issue has now been resolved for our return flight to SFO on Thursday July 6th"

Plussat: "That the person with whom I would have shared seats, found one with their party - had all the space...by chance ! The people at the counters are nice."
Miinukset: "1) I had an empty bottle and asked for water for multiple medications (as I had sprained my foot) thinking the stewardess had a jug of water. She opened a bottle and poured a fifth . I said I had to take many pills (antiinflamatory are three) plus iron and probiotics I take. She told me, holding the used bottle mostly full, that if I wanted more , I should buy a bottle !!!! And put it away !!! How insensitive and inhuman !!! I didn't know she was going to open a bottle !!!! Very insulting !! 2) When another stewardess passed by offering food, I asked what did we have a right to and she (only then) offered me tea or coffee (which should have been offered first). They I asked, as in all other flights (short South American flights and USA donestic) if she gave crackers or nuts to which she unnecessarily gloated pointing to the curtain that there , in economic plus , they had everything free ...insulting treatment and unnecessary information ...just like in my trip to Nice !! Same attitude ...it's probably horrible training courses. 3) you'd think the men and women that speak over the loud speaker would have bothered to learn English ...it was broken English and even sounded like babble to me...so I just ignored it ! 3) again no instructions for transfer as you come out of the plane. Had to figure it out asking cleaners ..as my flight was at night again. People below seem to coincide in that they complain of rudeness and lack of re-direction."

This is no exaggeration -/everyone on our flight, the following flight, and a few of the flight after that went throug the other line before we did. We do not know if she is training , being rediculously conscientious, being too social or a power/control thing. We had plenty of time, I feel sorry for people who had tight connections. LOTS of people switched lines but we didn't know it would continue to be rediculous. There are stairs to climb from the gate which will be a problem for people with any physical issues ( bad knees). The plane took off late and this time we were nervous with a tight connection in Stockholm Location of Gate display is slower than most airports and we were told It changes at the last minute. We will avoid the Oslo airport in the future."

Miinukset: "Flight was delayed, which I suppose wasn't the worst thing. I've had nicer attendants. Many people had to check bags due to there not being ample room in the overhead compartments, however when I was walking to my seat I couldn't help but notice that many people had stored their purses, backpacks, and jackets in the overhead compartments. Many people in the front didn't have anything at their feet which could have saved at least some people the hassel of having to check their bags when they hadn't planned on checking any at all. When I offered this idea to the flight attendant to see if he couldnt possibly make an announcement or if he could ask if anyone could move their stuff he simple answered "Well you know what? No one cares." Although I can understand that must be very frustrating for him and the other flight attendants, I thought the situation could have been handled a little bit better, perhaps there should be a better plan for a situation like this to make sure the room in the overhead compartments is used in the most efficient way."
Plussat: "In efforts to reduce my carbon footprint and reduce my use of plastic bottles and single use plastic cups, I always travel with a refillable stainless steel water bottle. It saddened and frustrated me when during the drink service portion of the flight the flight attendant refused to serve me water in my bottle, which was clean, dry and when uncovered the brim has the same diameter as the plastic cups used on United flights. First the flight attendant just said that she is not allowed to fill my personal bottle but kept offering me several cups of water instead. When I explained that it wasn't because I was really thirsty, it was just that I prefer to not use disposable cups, she proceeded to tell me my bottle was too big to fill anyways and she couldn't give me that much water. I have never had such an averse reaction to trying to be more eco friendly. In fact people are usually thrilled and applaud the Effort. If this is in fact the United policy, I hope united will reconsider it. Every small effort goes towards making a big impact."

Just before the end of the flight, a crew member came offered a glass of water. It tasted so bad that I had to bring it to the back and dump it. The lfight attendant wouldn;t take it' he told me to wait for the next member with a trash bag."
