At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers."

Miinukset: "The FLIGHT!!!!! There were delays. Scheduled take of time was 6:59 PM. We took off at 735 PM. Once I was on the plane, I started kicking myself in the you know what because I knew immediately I was scammed. I had purchased a 1st Class ticket for $400+, only to find that my comfort would be the equivalent of that if I purchased a ticket in economy. My long legs would still be cramped. For the past few years, I have been purchasing 1st class for it's spaciousness. On this flight, on the RCJ700, I did not fly comfortably. The space was very tight, and I was able to stretch my legs as if I sat in economy. This was by far, my most uncomfortable flight ever. SMH; A WASTE OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!!"

Miinukset: "Our flight was originally scheduled for departure at 7:45 PM. We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."
Plussat: "Even though we couldn't reserve our seats we where able to call and change our seats to be together. (Mom dad and 2 toddlers)"

Plussat: "Everything was smooth. Short flight, but they offered us refills on drinks, which I've never experienced before. Polite staff, great flight. Thanks!"

Plussat: "Many passengers did not have seat assignments and we also ran out of over head storage resulting in many additional bags to be checked at the gate(mine included) but the crew and staff at the desk inside laguardia work quickly and efficiently to get everyone boarded and we ended up landing 15 minutes early."
Miinukset: "Seating was extremely cramped and the in flight wifi quality was poor, couldn't even watch an hour long movie (on a 2+ hour flight) because of the amount of buffering."
Miinukset: "I wasn't able to choose my seat even though I bought my ticket a while back. Seat assignments were given at the gate and we were never given a real reason for this. I ended up in a middle seat sandwiched between people, and the man at the end slept the entire time, making it difficult to get up and walk around which I need to do as I am prone to DVTs."
Plussat: "I have difficulty walking, the crew made sure that I got to my seat on the plane safely, and made sure that I had wheelchair support."

Plussat: "Crew on EWR to ARN was so-so. They lock restrooms at the back because they don't people hanging around the kitchen in the back. Also, the one cabin crew does not say Excuse Me when he needs to pass- he just touches you and pushes you aside Also, the one cabin crew"

Miinukset: "There were several babies crying for at least 2/3 hours and of course it is not the fault of the crew or airline. But that definitely left a lot of people dissatisfied with an overnight flight in which we are hoping to rest before arriving in Copenhagen. Seats are getting smaller and smaller. Spaces are very tight but that seems to be the norm with all airlines"

Plussat: "Great legroom for premium seats. Even though not an emergency exit, bags need to go up, which doesn’t make sense at all."
Miinukset: "Seats itself uncomfortable for long flights. Boarding process could be better."
Plussat: "The 7 hr trip to Copenhagen was rough. The seats are too close together. My knees hit the seat in front of me even without reclining. When the seat in front of me reclined the tv screen was 6” away from my face. It was next to impossible to get out of the seat."

Miinukset: "The flight from EWR to Oslo was delayed by over 2 hours which meant I would miss my next connection... and I understand that happens sometimes. But, it was after hours on the airline number phone number and the fly.com customer service could not help with finding an alternate connection from Oslo to FRA. It was frustrating to then have to wait at Oslo airport for another 4 hours before the new connecting flight."
Plussat: "Excellent all around. Super smooth, friendly and fast!!"
Plussat: "Really appreciated how helpful everyone was, from check-in at Newark to arrival. The entertainment system worked well, too. Aside from the two issues I describe below, SAS seems to be extremely efficient and well-run."
Miinukset: "There was some mix-up - not sure where - but I did requested a vegetarian meal and it wasn't in the system. I'd also requested an aisle seat due to a hip issue and was told I'd have one - but when I went to check in, I'd been put in a center seat in a bulkhead. I was able to change but it was the last row of the plane. We the gate they were able to move me up at the last minute - but this all could've been much easier."
Plussat: "The crew was excellent, the flight from Newark to Copenhagen was on new aircraft A340-300 I believe, it was very nice and comfortable even in coach as long as you have a compact body."
Miinukset: "That my Silver Star Alliance status got me nothing with SAS, no early boarding, no ability to select a seat until 24 hours before without paying an extra cost, if you wanted a beer you had to pay, this is a no frills airline now, pay as you go."

Miinukset: "We were unaware of the need to buy an infant ticket on international flights. When we checked in to our SAS flight in Newark, we were given a boarding pass for our infant without any heads up about the issue. We also got help with ordering bassinet from the gate agent, all without anything surfaced. It wasn't until we were boarding that we learned that we needed to buy a ticket and pay $400+ and nearly didn't make the flight. Can someone follow up now, as we need to make sure this issue has now been resolved for our return flight to SFO on Thursday July 6th"
Plussat: "The airline is very professional and the crew were very courteous."
Miinukset: "During my layover, the airline did not post the gate for my flight to Athens until an hour before, which caused me to have to run across the terminal to another set of gates."
Plussat: "After four hours waiting on the tarmac, at 3AM in the morning, the flying attendants gave us free peanuts. That was very thoughtful."
Miinukset: "Worst experience ever. We waited on the tarmac for almost 4 hours, due a technical problem. Finally, they gave up attempting to solve the problem (at 3.30AM), and we disembarked. No assistance at all. No hotel. No meals. Rescheduling was a lengthy process. Staff was rude. Really a nightmare of an experience. Note to self: never ever fly again with SAS."

Miinukset: "Passport control in Copenhagen is too slow to allow for a 35 minute layover. We missed our flight to Stuttgart and had to go to the transfers counter. The service at the transfers counter was outstanding and they put us onto a Lufhansa flight. In the end we got to Stuttgart 5 hours later than planned."
Miinukset: "1) on the plane, they announced a choice of two meals and I enquired why did I get one without choice and they told me the second choice was an option only for 'economy plus' !! That was a rude situation....I felt cheated and then insulted . 2) CPH - Nice : The breakfast or the included orange drink gave me an upset stomach and bad case of Hemorroides. 3) I accepted a glass of tomatoe juice and when I asked for a coke with my lunch , the stewardess said I had only right to one drink and would have to pay the rest....really ? - wine used to be free and now a glass costs $4...really ?? 4) I arrived at CPH airport for my transfer .. the flight was yet not on the screen but no one gave any instruction and no officials of any kind were around to enquire....a cleaning crew finally directed me correctly. 5) the security line in New York to board was ridiculously long...someone shouted to take off our smelly shoes...really ?? 6) most were directed to the right with four snaking unending lines to one security check . From time to time others were directly directed ed to the left where there was no line and option of two security checks. Half way through my wait , most were directed to the left and all who were 'late', were let out first to their gate. The whole experience before, on the plane and after was not worth the money...least of all a pleasant one."
Plussat: "Even though I did not get the seat I paid extra for, it was a great flight."
Miinukset: "When purchasing the ticket there was no mentione that bagage was NOT included something which I assume when flying with an All Star airline. Ended up paying an extra 70 € for my luggage - not happy."
Plussat: "The flight from Newark to Stockholm was late, so I was late for the flight to Vilnius,had to recheck-in and wait for 6 hours."
Plussat: "We got to sit in the emergency aisle so I can't complain about comfort. The staff was really friendly (although they were really rude on the way over 10 days earlier, so I guess we just got lucky with a nice crew for this one)."
Miinukset: "You only get one free non-alcoholic drink on this flight and that's really stingy for a 7+ hour a long haul. Drinks should be free on a long haul, especially non-alcoholic ones. There aren't any free small snacks like chips or peanuts. You have to pay for everything and the menu is exorbitantly over priced. It's a cheap and insulting customer strategy. They can save a few bucks in overhead on each customer this way, but they are losing money in the long run because I'll never book with them again due to their tawdry actions. I doubt I am alone."
Plussat: "Crew was very helpful and attentive. Seemed to care about the comfort of the passengers. Very inviting and gracious."
Miinukset: "Seats and pillows could be more comfortable. All airline food is not good so okay indicated above is above expectations."
Plussat: "The thoughtfulness and competency of the personnel. I needed wheelchair assistance and found that every was very attentive to my needs and very competent, especially the ones assigned to get me from place to place. Even in Rome, where we had to deplane on the tarmac, I had a young woman and a young man to assist me and they helped me in every way possible."
Miinukset: "I needed a gluten free meal and found it rather dry and unappetizing."
Plussat: "It was great to have a bottle of water right at the beginning of the flight! Made it easier to settle down and relax."
Miinukset: "It would be great to have a greater offer of music. I really like to listen to some new music from good artists and to get inspired for new music on a long flight. It's too bad, SAS only offers playlists of 1 hour..."

Miinukset: "I wasn't able to take this flight due to my first leg being cancelled. However, I did end up being placed on the SAS flight to Stockholm from Chicago, which was an overall nice flight. The only thing I didn't like was the timing of the flight. Because my starting point was from somewhere other than Chicago, this made for a very long and tiring trip. I wouldn't recommend this flight for people flying from places other than Chicago."

There was no sleeping on this red eye. Plane noise was extremely loud and we were not by the wing. Our flight was delayed and they didn’t say a thing until it was past the time to board!!! Really?!? No apologies for it either. This is the worst flight I have ever been on. Dread getting in this flight to go home."

Miinukset: "the employees will not help you if you have a problem with the charges or the website. They claim ignorance and an inability to do anything. Which might be true. But this can be problematic. Furthermore, the website does not work and they do not write back. The single worst travel airline in my book, though the flight itself was fine. The man I sat next to had his flight cancelled without a refund and a similar story to me, with no helpful employees."

I watched my 3 friends board a plan with no idea if I would get to go to Iceland, it was the weekend and no embassy was open to address what may have happened with my documentation. No one could tell me if I would be able to get on another flight and join my friends nor if I would be refunded, I was simply put on a no show list and bounced between several customer support representatives. I am very upset that the situation occurred"

Miinukset: "There were complications during checkin that resulted in everyone waiting on line for three hours while the employees tried to figure it out. They couldn't and eventually hand wrote boarding passes. In my opinion - they waited too long to make the decision to do this (over two and 1/2 hours us waiting in line no movement). Because of this, our flight was delayed. We made our connecting flight but our luggage did not. We took Icelander partner Swissair to Amsterdam. We went to the Swissair lost luggage office and spoke with a gentleman who informed us that our luggage was still in Reykjavik and would be flown to Amsterdam the next day (this was Monday at noon). I told him that we were not going to be in Amsterdam, but we're driving that afternoon to Koblenz, and would be staying there until Friday. He assured me that they would fly our luggage to Frankfurt and deliver it to our apartment the next day. I gave him our information, and he gave me a baggage claim with the phone number to check on the status. He told me they would contact me by phone the next day for delivery and that we would have to be present to sign for the luggage. We did not use this as an opportunity to go on a shopping spree. Instead, we bought some essentials (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, underwear and a shirt) knowing that we had laundry facilities at our disposal. We did not receive our luggage on Tuesday. I called the number given to me Tuesday afternoon (after not hearing from the airline all day) and was told that my luggage had been shipped to Amsterdam....not Frankfurt. I explained again that we were not in Amsterdam and would not be back there until Friday. I was assured that they were putting the baggage on the next flight to Frankfurt via KLM airlines and we would have it the next day. On Wednesday afternoon, I again called the number after not hearing from them all day. I was informed now that our bags made it to Frankfurt airport but would not be delivered until the next day, Thursday. We had been wearing the same clothes since we left NY on Sunday. I asked to speak to the gentleman's manager. I wanted assurances that we would receive our luggage as no one, up to that point, from any airline (Icelandair or Swissair) had followed up with me. I was the one calling each day. He was very hostile and told us his manager was not there and there was no one else we could speak to. There was no other number we could call to discuss our claim. He got defensive and his answer was that the baggage was in KLM's hands and he could not answer for it anymore. Yet I wanted to know why I had not received an update each day, why after three days we did not have our luggage, and why none of them (Icelandair or Swissair) was making this a priority. Remember, our luggage was not lost at any time. They always knew where it was and they always knew where we were going to be. This representative hung up on me ."

Waited from 0730 Saturday to 0300 Sunday to continue to Helsinki. 5 unexplained flight delays and last minute gate changes before flight being cancelled and rescheduled. What has happened to Icelandair?"

Also, no complimentary food was given on a flight that long."

So we had to go down 20mns before reaching Charlotte to a nearby airport to get fueled up and then went back in the air. The whole ordeal made me miss my connection flight to Barcelona! And I wasn't able to get on a flight until the next day. To make matters worse I had to flight back to New York to catch the flight to Barcelona! Unbelievable. I was beyond disappointed. I chose American Airlines for a reason, a good one at that. Yet this happened."

After agent assigned me a seat in the last row, after I asked for something closer to the front of plane. I was told that I had to check-in my carry on bag because they were expecting a full flight. I said that I had an 19" bag that was small enough to be put in overhead compartment. I was then advised that if I wanted to get on the flight I had to check my bag. I then spoke to a supervisor who said the only way to carry on my bag was to pay for an expensive seat or be in group 2. The agent had put us in group 3. I said that none of the reasons given for not being able to carry my bag on tje flight is not stated anywhere on website or when purchasing a ticket. I had no choice but to give up my carry on bag. Boarded group 3 and upon getting on plane I noticed that the overhead compartments were half full. As I arrived at seat 30 A, all the compartments were empty. I went to the front of plane to speak to an agent on ramp and other passengers were bringing on their carry on bags. I spoke with the supervisor who said I couldn't get on flight unless I checked my carry on bag. All he could say is that he was sorry for the inconvenience. I asked why he was helping other passengers to bring their luggage on board but I was refused. Then a flight attendant said that I was being disruptive and was going to get thrown out of flight. There is no explanation why my girlfriend and I weren't allowed to bring our carry on bags except being discriminated."

My only chance to get to Cincinnati "on time" was to take a 6am two-part flight from Newark via Charlotte, arriving in Cincinnati at 1pm. All around the American Airlines section you could hear people say that flights had been canceled like this all week. I did not have time in Cincinnati to do half the things I wanted to do, and I had so little sleep on Friday night that I had to spend too much of my first Cincinnati night in bed trying to catch up with lost sleep, Thanks, American! This was to have been the head-clearing out-of-town break I sorely needed after a period of over-intense work."

Miinukset: "LGA has 2 AA terminals. 2nd time I've flown AA and not happy that we can't take off at the schedule time due to a 1st Captain – pilot is not on board. My first flight 6/23 (2529) had a 6hr layover in charolette and all we got was...there's some water and snacks. Then as we finally got our plane we had to wait for a new pilot. Seems like AA like a better system for their pilots."

Spend 10HOURS on the phone to get on scheduled plane. BA made wrong date and was send in circles. 11houts before flight I bought different tickets to get back on time to LAX. No help from Finnair, British Airways and Kayak. Had so much stress and insanity from representatives about my flight. Kayak MUST have 24 hours live person. Was calling from Vilnius and getting machine from noon until 6pm, Vilnius time. Does Kayak knows calling rates!!! This was WORST experience ever!!!

Flight was delayed and they didn’t have any vegetarian meal options. You had to reserve online for a vegetarian meal. On other airlines you don’t have to reserve your meal restrictions. I was left starving the whole flight because they only had one meal option which was meat.

AA is by far the WORST possible airline EVER! flight was delayed due to computer outage and absolutely RUDE ticketing/gate agents

The seats in the Airbus flight from JFK to HEL were a bit uncomfortable. The layover in Helsinki airport was boring because there were no stores open in the terminal and there was almost nothing to do for 3 hours.

Miinukset: "hard to check in to BA in Helsinki. signage could be better as this was a code share."
Plussat: "The space on the A380 is nice, comfortable seats, and the crew was very considerate"
Miinukset: "No between meals drinks (like water, etc.) or snacks left out on this 11 hour flight. The seats are still a bit close together... for the comfort of a long legged man behind me, I was not really able to recline my chair at all."
Plussat: "787 is a great plane and was very comfortable. Even my 6'6" husband praised it. Cabin crew went above and beyond in all respects."
Plussat: "Not much else"
Miinukset: "Delayed boarding, delayed takeoff, delayed landing. Everything was done so slowly that we nearly misssed our connection."
Plussat: "Crew was fine. Didn't really do much."
Miinukset: "No food or beverage served on this 1.5 hour flight unless you paid extra. Not even water. Had to pay extra to select seats. You could wait until the day of the flight and do it for free. I wish I was informed of this before purchasing the non-refundable ticket. BA "customer service" was absolutely no help on this front and merely reiterated their policy. They are NOT a premium carrier and their practices have relegated them to bargain carrier status. I will not fly BA again."
Plussat: "Check in, boarding were well organized. Crew and attendants at the airport were very friendly. My luggage was not lost."
Miinukset: "The flight from Houston was delayed, but Captain said that he will make up, and we should arrive to London on time. Only when we landed I learned that we are still late by an hour, and I missed my connection in London by a few minutes. Whoever was assigning a seat for me in Houston, could seat me closer to the front, so I would have a better chance to catch my connection. Instead, I was placed at the very last row. (Very uncomfortable by the way)."
Plussat: "We did not go to Madrid due to BA's IT problems. Could not find an alternative flight."
Miinukset: "We were told not to worry when there was no plane at the gate when we arrived. Then we were told not to worry that the plane was being towed to the gate when it did land in Schipol. They were aware that many on the plane were trying to make a fairly quick connection in London. And it was after that connection would have already been missed that they let us know that our flight was canceled and we would have to go back to get our luggage and get re-assigned to another plane. We stood for TWO HOURS to be reassigned with only 2 agents helping a whole plane full of people. Of course, we missed the last flight out that could have connected us. We were told to go to an agent when we got to London to get a hotel room and they would have us all sorted. They did not have us all sorted and that took another half hour. We were at the airport in Schipol for SEVEN hours [and two trips through passport control] before our rescheduled flight to London boarded. When we landed in London, we had to go to the arrivals desk for them to be informed that we needed a hotel. We were able to sleep about 3 hours and had to get back to the airport for an early morning flight. Everyone we dealt with was kind and respectful, but the Airline itself was ill-prepared to handle this cancellation. In addition, they said they would not re-book at the gate, but those who were angry and aggressive were able to do so and get out on the day we were supposed to. Pretty crummy end to a trip."
Miinukset: "Whatever the issue was two hours sitting alongside the gate caused issues for everyone onboard the plane and caused us to have to run through the entire airport just to make our connection."
Miinukset: "Food is not good. They are charging for specialized meal. I haven't seen any international flights that charge for meal."
Plussat: "The service was good. I felt bad for them because of the number of cards they had to process."
Miinukset: "As of mid-January, any flight less than 5 hours includes no complimentary food or drink. Cash and check are not accepted, and the card processors are slow. This meant the stewards were in the aisle for quite a while dealing with this, and access to the bathrooms was hampered."
Plussat: "Staff are excellent, really friendly, respectful service. Food (expensive as always on planes) but excellent quality, really good choice to use M&S as providers. Excellent communication from pilot and cabin staff on delays before takeoff."
Miinukset: "System for paying by food with Avios points did not work. Plane left almost an hour late due to delays (landed 30 mins late)."
Plussat: "Friendly, efficient and caring. A comfortable experience at a very low price."
