Miinukset: "the flight was almost 2 h late without any explanation from the ground crew whats is going on , why is the aircraft late and what would be with the connection flight in Istanbul. while arrived at Istanbul it was total mass : representative of turkish airlines was waiting and focused on a group from Korea or china , helped them and barely answered other passengers who didnt know what is the status of their connection flight , which was not shown on the screen ( to tel aviv for example ). then it turned out that my flight took off 15 min before and i was approached to turkish desk to get voucher for poor meal at 2.30 am in the morning and a new ticket . that was poor compensation for 2 h delay in BUD and delay to substitute flight that took off on 7:45 am , almost 6 h later in istanbul . i was forced to run at the airport like a mad instead of having a rep of the co , explaining the passengers where to go and get their new flight ticket and not run hundred of meters with no address in the terminal area . that experience was so bad i havent been through for 13 years . i arrived TA after 14.5 h of trip for a flight who to take 4 h net including istanbul - TA ."

Kayak did not even recognize the cancellation and continued to try and check me in to flights i was not on. Such a headache.. I will not be using this service in the future"

Miinukset: "Weeks before the flight, Turkish Airways denied giving me a seat. In the day before the flight their on-line computer system did not recognize my ticket number all though it has for the previous three legs of the ticket. When I arrive at the airport I was told the flight was over booked and giving a stand by boarding card. There were about 15 of us with stand by. Only two were denied boarding. Although they did not say so it was clear it was because it was a Kayak reservation. It took 3 1/2 hours in Istanbul airport to get a boarding pass on the next flight. I spoke to eight Turkish Airway representatives. None of them were helpful. Each shifted me to another office elsewhere in the airport without giving me clear direction. Apparently the issue was that they did not want o pay compensation although I never asked for this. In the final office back outside passport control I said I was looking for a boarding pass not compensation.. They gave me on on the 6:10 pm flight and had me sign a statement that I had received 600 Euros in compensation. When I arrive at JFK, my bag was not on the flight. They say they will deliver it today."

Miinukset: "Perhaps because of Istanbul security measures, but all water removed before boarding plane, with no chance to get more. Stewards couldn't give out bottles of water, only those little cups from time to time. They could bring more of those little cups when you called for them, but not during turbulence. So having no access to water was not great (or planned out on their part). Also, no random sweeps of the aisle by the stewardess from time to time, to check on comfort. My seat kept being pushed by passenger behind me. Flight into Istanbul two weeks prior was great all around. This knee was filled with too many negative moments."
Miinukset: "I don't why the take-off and landing are late. The boarding started late! the plane stayed on the ground for minutes doing nothing! and in the end the plane arrived half an hour late!"
Plussat: "I really like the fact that they still prepare food for their passengers, however, the quality of the food was less than average They prepare you with the eye mask and the slippers, and a thin sheet of blankets for longer flight, which was really nice. The seats are comfortable, and there are a larger selection of movies and songs to choose from which were also great. The flight was relatively stable. I didn't ever realize that we took off, maybe i was too tired to notice, i don't know."
Miinukset: "The boarding was really slow, it was not on time. The food was less than average, but better than not have any. It was hard to find assistance. The flight seemed a bit old, because we weren't able to turn off our light which caused some inconvenience."
Miinukset: "Several TVs were not working. While some were repaired the TV for my viewing did not work. Though it was set right it failed raw weal times."
Plussat: "I flew Paris -Hong Kong(round trip) with transfer in Istanbul and overall everything was ok. The in-flight service was great, food was very good and their fleet seems quite new and clean."
Miinukset: "Thw only aspect I didn't like was the fact that our flight from Istanbul to Hong Kong was delayed and that is not a big problem,flights gets delayed all the time. But the attitude we got from the ground staff in the airport was a big problem. We got to the customer service counter to get further information about the flight and nobody was giving us any information.Not even an apology for the fact that we waited for 3 hours in an airport at 2 AM. Everybody seemed so bored,that they barely spoke 3 words.They offered us a voucher at Burger King, but we couldn't order anything from the menu,but the simplest burger. We just expected a bit more from an airline that has somebody dressed as a chef on-board while serving the in-flight meals."
Plussat: "Turkish airlines is a nice airline company and as I always had wonderful experinces, this time i purchased their tickets. The pilots are wonderful - u never feel any uneasiness when the plain takes off or lands; the crew is always attentive and the food is good :)"

We had a 19 hour lay-over, pleasantly spent in a new, very comfortable hotel to which we were shuttled and from which we were returned to the airport the next morning -- hotel/shuttle comped, as was the impressive breakfast at the hotel. We will definitely fly TurkishAir again. The staff was excellent and the in-flight entertainment system was wonderful."

Miinukset: "To whom it may concern I had booked flight from Casablanca to Chicago via Frankfurt , on May 6th , by Lufthansa, two hours before the flight , at the counter in CMN , they notified me , that the flight , is over booked , and I can’t catch this flight , and they offered me different difficult options, , till the flight boarded , they offered me one of the most inconvenient flights , and reward me some amount , in this case : I missed my flight which accordingly , lose my appointment , and lose my business. I frustrated with this decision at late hours . I asked full consideration of all the difficulty situation and the turbles they put me ."

I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and the way it was managed by just telling him not to do that. I asked for a different seat but wasn't moved. For the price I paid for the seat and his behavior of taking up my spot and the empty spot in between us (he took up 2 chairs because he was laying down to sleep) I was very disappointed and uncomfortable during the flight."

Miinukset: "Flight was three hours late leav ing due to a mechanical issue. We sat on the plane while it was being repaired and refilled. I was too hot the whole flight..I think it's the design of the ventilation system on this particular plane. The person by the sunny window stifles. Food was about as bad as it can get. Then I was offered coffee and got tea. Crew never smiled. My headphone had a loose wire so the sound went in and out. Not like past Lufthansa flights."

Miinukset: "The seats are the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in. The food from Frankfurt to Denver was subpar. The first 2 hours were very bumpy and unusual for that part of an Europe to USA crossing. The spacing of the middle seats with the support struts having to straddle for 13 hours is too much. I could go on, but you really need to rethink the design and customer service on your long haul flights."

Comfortable (as much as the plane can be), aways good selection of movies, crew very serious (typical russians) but very polite and helpful, food is actually edible and coffee actually has a taske of coffee. Love them!"

Miinukset: "overall my experience with this company as bad! the crew was not nice at all and were angry, without knowing any proper English (the flight attendant asked me in Russian what i want to eat so i answered her English please and she rolled her eyes and threw the meal she hold to my tray. Once we landed Moscow for our connecting flight we had 3 hours at the airport, on my boarding ticket the gate was 26, i came for the boarding to gate 26 but no one was there!!!! so i startes to asked people around where is the gate and since they dond know any English they are lying!!! some told me gate 33 some told me 28 and some told me a different terminal! this airport is huge! the the people that work there are not nice, very rood and angry and English it's not a language they will understand. Therfore, i missed my flight, running around trying to search my gate they changed on the last minute, in the end someone told me it was on gate 22! but they slready took off. SO i went to the operation office to get a new ticket- I met the most repulsive man which should provide a good customer service. He told me that was my mistake for not taking care to check why no one was at the gate/// WHAT?! Just mentioned it wasnt just me missing the flight, they were another 5 people with me and another 5 from other flights! the next flight was 13 hours later. he said maybe he can get free ticket for me, but he's not sure. I laughed and said not only I'm not supposed to pay for the flight, you should compensate me! So he took the ticket he gave me, smiling, and said "if you don't want it, it's OK' don't take it, bye bye" I WAS FURIOUS!!! I took the damn ticket, waited 13 hours to my next flight (which BTW the gate was also changed) and came home. I was alone traveller, came from Thailand after 10 hours flight, and went all this nightmare ALONE (i'm a women)! WILL NEVER FLY WITH AEROFLOT, will never do a connecting fight in Moscow and most probably will never visit this country full with cold and angry people!!!! FYI- will post this in every flight web!"
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed for 1.5 hours. As a result I was late for my next flights, which I bought as separate tickets. Aeroflot didn't gave me any compensation. Airport coworkers were COMPLETELY impolite. Aeroflot members and workers were ABSOLUTELY IMPOLITE, IGNORANT and did everything to make money of me. Because of this, I lost 950$ in order to buy another ticket."
