Passengers were divided in 5 lanes, depending on their seating area withing the plane (for a more efficient boarding, I presume) but, by the time we all got to the actual aircraft, we formed another queue in the boarding bridge so it didn't feel like any time was saved or anything."

I could not store my belongings near me. No power outlet to charge my devices for my own entertainment on a 7 hour flight. Dealing with constant traffic for the bathroom. I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Miinukset: "Flight delayed ... Myself and three other colleagues didn't have our luggage show up from KLM flight from Amsterdam to Brussels...even though all of our luggage was labeled "priority". Once in customer service line, we looked and saw that many of the other passengers on our flight also never received their luggage. We estimated that 20-25% of the people on that flight did not receive their luggage as they were in line with us for the same problem. Hard to understand how so many pieces of luggage could have been overlooked and not loaded on our flight. Obviously there is a huge gap in their quality system to ensure mistakes like this are prevented."

If KLM are going to charge extra for a window seat, then they should make sure there is a window there! If the seat had actually had a window it would have been an excellent flight."

Miinukset: "Upon landing in EWR on United, per my reservation on this site my connection was on SAS to Copenhagen. Upon arrival in EWR, I received an email from this site saying my SAS flight "may be canceled". I immediately headed to the terminal where SAS was and went into the lounge to speak to an agent. The women I spoke to could not have been more rude. She told me my flight was canceled and that she did not have access to any details because that was United's responsibility. I told her that could not be the case because my flight was on SAS so if they canceled the flight, I would like to understand what my options are given that I had a tight window upon arrival into my final destination into Dubrovnik so I could not be too late in landing outside of my original reservation. She told me that I had to talk to United and did not even acknowledge why there was a cancellation or anything other than the SAS flight I was on was cancelled. She barely even helped me to understand where my luggage was which I was very concerned would be lost given the issue with the flight cancellation. As a result of all of this, it turns out I was put onto a United flight that now had MORE connections. I had to now go to Frankfurt to Vienna to Dubrovnik, all with really tight connections AND now I no longer was on the same flight as my friend who I was traveling with. SAS did not help with any of this or care to assist in ANY way. They told me it was out of their hands and I had to talk to United. AWFUL service when SAS had cancelled the flight! I had no choice but to take the re-routed flights. I ended up running to my gates and barely catching all of my connections which made for a very stressful travel experience to start my long awaited vacation. After paying the high cost I did for my flight, I am extremely frustrated with my experience as I ended up having more connections, tight connections, awful customer service and a really stressful trip. This is NOT would I would expect for how much I paid and out of the quality of an airline. I would like to receive some type of compensation for the extreme inconvenience of landing 3+ hours after my original arrival time, being broken up with my friend who I was traveling with, not being given any options for my travel, terrible customer service assistance, and no acknowledgement from SAS to help me in any way."
Plussat: "Everyone I interacted with from SAS was very nice and very polite. Smooth, short flight. Bags came down pretty quickly. The coffee on the plane was better than in my hotel in Edinborough!"
Miinukset: "I didn't realize that even though I am an international traveler, I had to pay for baggage for this short flight. And since I didn't realize it, I didn't purchase it online, which doubled the price at the airport :-( also, and this is not the fault of the airline, the security line is ridiculously slow because at least 50% of the passengers get shunted to a single line because the screener saw something odd."

Days before the return flight yet to chicago they had no record of my vegetarian meal The same transfer desk told me there were no morning flights to amsterdam the next day so they booked me 930pm next day, I found hour later a flight on Dad leaving 6am next morning, had to buy own toclet"
Plussat: "Everything about the flight was fine. Boarding, flying and retrieving luggage were all standard and went smoothly."
Miinukset: "I was upset that neither Kayak nor SAS provided any information about our ticket being a basic, basic ticket, by which I mean, did not include any checked luggage allowance in the price of the flight. I ended up paying 140 additional Euros for two bags. It appears that SAS's pricing is gaming the system when searching for flights or that Kayak is not being up-front about the type of fare they are advertising."
Miinukset: "I took this flight to have a short layer over, only 40 minutes. This was a connecting flight departed from Newark and was a connecting flight for many people coming from Thailand. I almost missed this flight due to highly backed up passport control. If SAS was running so many international flights, they should have shifted the layer over, since many people were taking connecting flights for Oslo to Manchester. No food, there should have at least been a snack or at a minimum offered water."

Miinukset: "Got delayed 13-hours in an airport with no SAS staff present to communicate anything to all of the passengers. We were not accommodated with hotel vouchers or provided with alternative travel options to our final destinations and missed flights. SAS did not cancel the flight after the first 4-hours of delay which is illegal by EU Standards. None of us were able to leave the airport as we were not told any information about potential flight departure times and it would have been $2000 to re-book with a different airline. No answers were given by SAS over the phone and their staff seemed unaware of any problems."

Plussat: "boarding is different and they were talking over pa announcements at heathrow so you could not hear what to do. you go through one ticket agent to the down stairs to another ticket agent. everyone knowing what to expect crowded around the second ticket agent and there because of that forget about boarding by row or zone you couldn't get throught the crowd. plus the second ticket agent was right next to the downstairs escalator so people coming late got on before us."

Plussat: "The standout moment for me was how the crew treated my son who realized, as the door was closing, that he had forgotten his bag with all his schoolbooks. They were very kind and responsive and helped him find the bag with no fuss and without making him feel bad."

Miinukset: "My flight was canceled the day before my departure via email. The customer service contact number for SAS did not work--I tried multiple times over the course of 12hrs+. The online help page gave a 404 error. I had no way of contacting anyone from SAS. Later that night (night before I was supposed to depart), I received another email saying I was booked on a United flight about 5hrs earlier than I planned on leaving. I had to cancel my morning plans with my wife to make the earlier flight. I never (still, a week later) was able to contact anyone from SAS."

If I had had a shorter connection this rigamarole would have freaked me out."
Plussat: "The flight was very comfortable, and the captain and crew were so kind and attentive. I love how they just gave me a pillow without me even asking. It was very sweet and unusual. The captain was very good at updating us about everything. Overall one of the best flight experiences I've ever had. :)"

The food was Korean food and I really enjoyed and loved it so much .The Helsinki airport is great with smoking booth and warm ."

Plussat: "The personnel AFTER passport control was wonderful, both airport and United. Passport control workers failed to recognize or help move us through to be able to board in time while they allowed other passengers to go ahead who had same departure. Plane waited 30 mins past take off for us."
Miinukset: "Brussels airport staff at pass control needed to acknowledge departure concerns to prevent plane delay of takeoff. Many passengers missed their connection in Chicago because of our delay boarding due to pass control wait and lack of help."

Connecting flight was 1hr and 40 min and they refused to give us water! Got to Budapest to find that the ticket Agent had routed three of our 4 bags to Budapest and one to Prague! How much worse could it possibly get!"
Plussat: "We didn’t have assigned seats, we tried to pick the night before. Anyway they sat us very near each other. It was a nice flight."
Plussat: "We got warm washcloths to refresh our hands and face. A full bottle of water to save as we needed, followed immediately by a beverage service and pretzels. Dinner of either fish or chicken was delicious, and included bread, cheese, salad, and dessert. Followed by additional beverage services, a mushroom calzone and finally Belgium chocolates. The crew was friendly and entertainment on personal monitors was very good. This was the best overseas flight I have had in several years."

Miinukset: "We left late because they were waiting for people from another flight that got canceled to transfer to our flight, and even with the delay, one of my bags got lost. I was the third person to check in for the flight, so I'm not sure how that happened."

Miinukset: "I came in 45 minutes before the departure time, but they said i was late. And i asked what can the solution, they said the solution is to cancel my ticket and buy a new one. And they cancelled my ticket, then I did not get any other choice than buy a new ticket at more than $700 just from Abidjan to New York. But some other airline companies, when you miss your flight they find a next one for you and you just pay the fee, but not to cancel your ticket. This last case can happen only if the traveller does not show up and doesn't call."
Miinukset: "As everyone seems to already know, the food and drink is really not very good at all and they didn't provide enough, especially considering that I was delayed by two hours in total in this trip."

Miinukset: "Departing out of Brussels International Airport, the security line to LEAVE the country was 3+ hours long. Not sure what the logistical problem was, but it was a poorly handled experience. They also said it was a daily occurrence."

Miinukset: "The flight left 50 minutes after it was scheduled to leave. We were sitting on the hot aircraft the entire time because the crew would not turn on the air. In addition, the host and his service was terrible. When I asked him for water, he told me that I could find it at the back of the flight and I should go get it myself. The other hostess on the other side was handing out waters to whoever needed it. When a passenger sitting next to me asked for a spoon to eat his meal, the host shrugged his shoulders and didn't come back with one. He was blatantly rude and ignored his passenger. We were also not given blankets on an 7-8 hour flight. It was only on request. People who had requested one were then asked to fold and return their blankets (they were not asked kindly) before landing. The selection of tv, music, and shows on board were terrible as well. Barely any selection. Needless to say, this was the worst service I have ever had on an airline."

Miinukset: "Even though I'm a star Alliance frequent traveler status holder, and the status grants an extra bag on economy class I was forced to pay for my first checked in bag. Furthermore, since I assumed I'll be getting my checked in luggage for free (as it states on the miles and more website) I didn't pay for it in advance a fee of 35$, meaning they made me pay 65$ in the airport."

The first row in coach has 3 seats and be row behind has 4 meaning that you are 4 people sharing 3 screens and seat pockets. No room to put your legs under the seat in front of you because they are not aligned with the seats in front. I fly all the time and have never seen this. I am short and has absolutely no room for myself or even my iPad and headphones. Horrible experience. Never flying with Brussels airlines on a transatlantic again!"

Miinukset: "I bought my flight 2 months before, and at the gate I was told I'm on stand by, after the check in agent already took my bag, and without any explanation. No one could tell me WHY I was all of a suddent on standby. The answer I got was "I don't know, that's just how it is in the system". Completely unacceptable and against airline policy. I will be filing an official complaint with Brussels Airlines."
Miinukset: "Departure delayed for unspecified reasons, most of the passengers like me had connecting flights and it was stressful"
Miinukset: "The flight was canceled. I found out the day before my departure - the airlines didn't even contact me to let me know - and I never got reimbursed for the canceled flight. I had to purchase a $1500 new ticket to get back home in time. I wrote to the Brussels Airlines and they never addressed these complains."
Plussat: "Crew were polite. Due to late BHX departure VCE connecting passengers were given barcode pass for fast lane thru security & passport control. BRU huge & a bit confusing. esp for arrivals from GB connecting to Italy. Lots of escalators and walking. Brussels airlines were fine. However, in future I would avoid using BRU as a connecting point unless more time between flights."
Plussat: "Crew on flight were outstanding. Brussels airlines is part of United! However, for a long flight, would be nice to have outlets or USB to charge electronic devices since no individual monitors - many used United app with Entertainment!"
Miinukset: "Every time, I board my United flights at Heathrow, London airport, the staff makes the customers very stressed out. First, customers can not see the signs for the different groups (1,2,3,etc.) and the staff makes you feel like that you should know the process (when we don't)! A couple of suggestions, 1) the staff needs customer training, and 2) have some staff outside boarding area to help direct people to different groups NICELY!"
Plussat: "Very good entertainment system, huge choice of movies with all kinds of languages."
Miinukset: "I had to ring the bell multiple times just to get something to drink..."
Plussat: "At the gate there was a wonderful United Airlines employee (the flight was operated by United Airlines) who made an extra effort to organize me and my husband seats next to each other. The flight was full and we didn't have seat bookings before boarding."
Miinukset: "I didn't like the food which is usually expected on airplanes. Still, there is one quite simple thing that is possible to arrange to improve the quality - fresh bread instead of dry and hard one. Comfort - the airplane had 3-seats rows on sides. I prefer 2-seats rows. I haven't noticed that bigger planes mean automatically cheaper flight tickets. Therefore I definitely choose less crowded plane with more comfort. Entertainment - the TV was touch screen. Modern idea but poor realization. The TV user interface was very hard to manipulate because the extra mouse that had to be brought on right button hardly moved."

I ate at the airport on arrival in Rome, 2, There was no toiletries bag handed out i.e toothpaste and socks to keep us warm. 3. Was surprised that the food was on sale Brussels to Rome. Abidjan to Brussels was free food then mid flight rules changed and the food was on sale on the last leg of the flight."

Plussat: "There was a medical emergency two hours into the flight and the flight attendants did a very professional job of handling the situation."
Miinukset: "Boarding was disorganized and after standing in line to board we were told to go to the transfer counter to get another boarding pass. This additional step should have been more clearly communicated to passengers so we could have taken care of it before we stood in the boarding line. We were sitting in the terminal for 90 minutes prior to the flight and never heard an announcement to go to the transfer counter prior to boarding. We already had boarding passes issued when we embarked on our connecting flight from Ljublana to Brussels. I was hammered by surprise with a 90 Euro extra bag fee but did not pay a fee for this extra bag on my trip to Europe from Dulles. This bag was a small athletic bag that was just over the carry on size limit and did not weigh that much because it only had clothing and shoes. Ryan Air pulled a similar stunt on me earlier this year and I've decided never to use Ryan Air ever again. I'm adding Brussels Airlines to my list of airlines never to fly again because of these ridiculous baggage fee policies. Really shortsighted business practice on their part. Lufthansa all the way for me!!!!"
Plussat: "I'm in Israel for a wedding for only 6 days the airline lost my legged 72 hours later didn't here enythig. Gift and personal staff Just spend $500 to buy new cloth and new suitcase how shuld I feel ? My flight was from Washington, D.C."

We figured that we'd check in, get a sandwich and use the restroom, but that didn't happen. We stood on line for over an hour to check our bags! The rest of the airport was also busy, so we spent the rest of our time in passport control and security. I had a similar experience when I was leaving the states, where I spent an hour checking in my luggage. Please, Norwegian, there are solutions to this check in problem and I think you need to find them."

Plussat: "Really pleased they fly to Austin,Texas direct from London. They give a very cost effective alternative to BA. We upgraded to Premium for a reasonable fee. We liked the masses of leg room but on a night flight it is impossible for the middle/window passenger to escape as all seats are back with footrests extended. The cabin crew were very good. The plane was new and very clean. Roast beef salad for breakfast was tasty if unusual."
Miinukset: "Low cost premium is rare, and some cost cutting is understandable. That said....Premium seats weren’t that comfortable. I’m not too tall (6 feet) but they didn’t support my back well. There was no music entertainment so ensure you bring your own. There is plenty of power. The film selection is the same in both directions and pretty limited. Not a problem if you are sleeping though. Note: When upgraded you don’t seem to get all your prepaid extras refunded and we couldn’t choose our seats in Premium. There is no business lounge in Austin. (There was in Gatwick). The Norwegian app never linked to my reservation automatically. Some synchronisation work required there. Unlike other premium flights the drinks service was pretty limited. I didn’t enjoy eating out of a cardboard box, but the food was tasty."

I told the flight attendant that I was taking medication and I need to eat some real food . she did not barge and did not offer to check with other flight attendant . even where they were serving coffee , they told me the exact same thing . finally one flight attendant gave me a cup after insisting ."

Miinukset: "I missed my flight waiting at the wrong gate( there was another flight to Stockholm, my connecting city, being conducted by another airline) I did not notice until it was too late. The airline neglected to offload my checked luggage, refused to do accommodate me with a change fee and now has lost my bag and has no idea where it is."

Plussat: "The cost of the ticket was perfect, very affordable. I didn’t have a meal included, but was surprised that I was never even offered water worth the other passengers as attendants went down the aisle. I was completely looked over."

Miinukset: "I was flying Norwegian during possibly the worst week in recent memory: after the breakdown at JFK following the snow hurricane on Jan. 3-4. The flight was DY 7002 to Oslo, arriving on Jan. 5. For some reason leading up the flight, Norwegian did not cancel our flight - which left at 22:00 - even though the other major airlines had. We were forced to go to the airport chaos before Norwegian cancelled the flight around an hour before it was supposed to fly. We were delayed two days. When we finally boarded on Jan. 7 we had to sit on the tarmac for 3 hrs before taking off. The pilot couldn't explain the nature of the delay. In all fairness, I am not sure how much Norwegian or JFK are to blame for such horrendous service. Probably both are at fault. Norwegian: please consider your customers' time and well-being. Cancel your flights in advance of such conditions so that your passengers, update the information on your website. Those things are in your control, even if the situation at JFK is not."
Plussat: "Direct flight from Denver to London. Staff is very friendly and process is very efficient."
Miinukset: "The plane is on a quick turnaround and the cabin could use more time for refreshing between flights."
Miinukset: "I did put my initial reservation on hold which cost me $150 and to have 12 months to use my credit then I was told after 2 weeks by trying to book a different dates that Norwegian will not fulfill my credit anymore....therefore I paid $150 and then got screwed by them after collecting an extra $150....what a joke! Stay away from them... low-cost airlines are not worthy when you add all headaches. Never did I fly with them never will."

Plussat: "The food available for purchase was unexpectedly fresh and the screen ordering system is convenient. The plane was new and nice and clean, but pretty tightly packed."
Miinukset: "The flight was delayed by an hour and a half and the pilot kept saying that we'd be leaving in five minutes leading to a planeful of frustrated customers. The entertainment system does not have a very good selection of films. The crew was fine, but didn't go out of their way to be friendly or helpful."
Plussat: "Bathrooms accessible and not overcrowded. Air-quality in the cabin was good. Seats fairly comfortable."
Miinukset: "No complementary water tea or coffee. That is very basic for any flight over six hours. It was a big surprise to pay $45 for each seat in order to reserve ahead of time. We traveled as a family of five. Not so cheap as advertised will think twice next time."
Miinukset: "I was charged $65 for a carry on that they wouldn't allow me to carry and made me check the bag ..."
Miinukset: "I ordered red wine from the screen, waited 45 minutes, and then, because I hadn't used that system before, got up and inquired about it. The flight attendants looked like I was bothering them and just told me I had to wait. I said ok no problem. An hour and a half later, still no wine. I got up to ask about it and they, again, looked annoyed, doubted that I had ordered it, looked it up on their computer, and gave it to me eventually without any apology whatsoever. The most unfriendly staff I have had on an airplane. I understand it's a budget airline, but there is no need for that poor level of service."
Plussat: "The crew was lovely and charming and attentive. The movie selection was great and well appreciated on the long flight back to the US"

We are exhausted from the long travels & are even more pissed off when multiple customers kept waiting for their luggage. I felt even more horrible to the family that was taking a cruise the next day. Can you believe Norwegian airlines are closed on Sunday. Couldn't talk to customer service until Monday when they opened. Bad customer satisfaction;("
Plussat: "Free Wifi on a budget airline is great!"
Miinukset: "Flight was about 20-30 minutes late in departing and there were absolutely no announcements and no-one at the boarding counter to keep customers informed. People were left standing in a a crowded room which was too small for all the passengers while no announcement was made. Even when they finally boarded, there was no recognition of the flight being late and no apology. One we were on board, the cabin crew then made a rather abrupt and rude announcement telling the passengers to board quickly otherwise we would lose our slot time and be delayed by a further one hour. Fortunately that additional delay did not happen. However, I did not appreciate the passengers being berated for "slow" boarding when the flight was boarded 20-30 minutes late."

Miinukset: "No leg room on plane. No boarding process. Food at a fee including water. Furthest gate from terminal. No connection information. No ground staff to address delay of next plane."
Plussat: "The staff was very accommodating. They are warm and try to make everyone comfortable. Flight crew gave us information on a regular basis as the flight had a delayed departure of over 3 hours. State of the art plane with USB port, nice entertainment features, leather seats. Good overhead baggage storage."
Miinukset: "Seats could have just a bit more legroom. Dinner meal was okay. breakfast not so good. main complaint is that I had ordered wheelchairs at both sides. In NYC wheelchair delivery to check in was over 45 minutes. In Stockholm delivery was 20 minutes and then there was only one person to manage three wheelchairs. Waited another 15 minutes for personnel. I understand that is not airline problem, but airline should make a complaint to ground staff and management."
Plussat: "It was a short flight and it was a standard flight."
Miinukset: "There was no free drink service during the flight. But it's a budget airline and it was a short flight. However, boarding norwegian flights is a free for all nightmare; budget airline or not, there has to be a more organized way of boarding so flights are not more delayed than they already are!"
